Chapter 4
Alucard only smirked as he stared into the empty room as Integra entered not believing her eyes.
“Damn it how is this possible?” they heard her yell from inside the room.
“How did Miss Victoria act when you saw her Alucard?” Walter questioned trying to hide the joy in his voice.
“As if she didn’t know me. But that wasn’t it my old friend her power the things I saw her do. She couldn’t be my police girl”
“That’s where your wrong Alucard. Miss Victoria has grown stronger over these years. I have been a witness to some of her skills”
“Please spare me Walter, Alucards little pet couldn’t even drink her blood packets without being forced. So how could she do even be half as powerful of him?” Integra stated coming to stand behind the two.
“Forgive me Sir Integra but I have to say your wrong. Miss Victoria uses shadows like doors like our Alucard. And like Alucard’s eight eyed hound Miss Victoria can form a hound but also she can transform into a Raven. As for drinking blood she was I believe drinking at least five to six blood packets a night”
“SHE WHAT...how is it I never noticed this?” Integra’s eyes widen trying to think back over the times she would Alucard reports on his little pet. The only things she could remember was his disappointment she wasn’t living up to his exceptions.
“You saw her do this Walter?” Alucard questioned excitedly.
“Yes and I might add she shaved four years off my life with that giant Raven of hers,” Walter smiled remembering fondly how Seras beamed with pride as he both scolded and praised her over her little stunt. Of course she apologized and swore it would never happen again.
“I never knew she could do those things,” Alucard frowned and whispered more to himself than anyone. ‘How is it I never saw her do these things? Is it possible I wasn’t pay as close a attention as I should have?’ he smirked remember earlier when she lopped his head clean off. If this woman was truly his police girl they would meet again and he would see just how powerful she had become.
“That just shows how much attention you were showing your pet Alucard. But that aside I doubt that fool Maxwell or anyone from Section 13 just came in and took her. This had to be an inside job, but who and why?” Integra questioned.
“Those are questions for another time my master. The sun is rising and alas sleep calls me”
“You are dismissed I expect your to report to me after you feed. Walter I think I’ll rest awhile myself you should do the same,” Integra stated taking her leave also to find some rest and think over this latest discovery.
“Tell me the truth before you leave Alucard what was it that shocked you so about Miss Victoria?” Walter questioned remembering the look on Alucards’ face when he saw him in Integra’s office. ‘She beheaded me my old friend It was glorious’ Alucard laughed into Walters mind as he faded into the shadows.
Alucards smirk died as he entered his room ‘why would she act as if she didn’t remember me? Even after twenty years of death sleep I still remembered my life before. Did those ten years damaged her mind more than any of us thought possible. It’s possible with a tender heart like Seras had ..it could happen a place like that isn’t meant for some one like her. But what did that Paladin have to do with her, it would seem he had some measure of control over my police girl. And that comment about ‘not thinking about it’. Thinking about what was bad for her?’ But his deep frown bloomed in to an ear to ear smiled as he thought of the small fight they had. The darkness that surrounded him sent a chill down his spine. But he knew some how that wasn’t the depth of her power. He laughed looking to his hand. ‘That hound bit right though my arm,’ now that he though about it he never did find his prized Jackal.
“Taking something to remember me by police girl?....I guess when next we meet I have to make us even and taking something of yours,” he laughed climbing into his coffin. His laughter echoed through the room even through the closed lid of his coffin as the sun rose.
ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Anderson sighed with relief as her eyes fluttered closed she sighed when the sun began to rise. He tenderly laid her on the bed pulling closed the heavy black curtains on the bed. Most nights
were hard to clam her before the sun rose but last night was the worst. ‘Mayhaps ah should keep her away from Hellsings pet vampire?’
He went around the room closing the shutters and pulling the heavy drapes into place. When he was satisfied no light could shine through he locked the bedroom door. Pulling off his boots and trench coat he slipped into bed next to her. Anderson found himself nervous as he lay next to the female. Sure they had been sleeping in the same bed for two years. Neither touching the other but that didn’t stop his heart from pounding every time or his mouth from going dry.
His eyes strayed to her still form, even in her death sleep she is such a beautiful creature. Stroking her cheek he found her skin still so soft and warm unlike other vampires he’d killed over the years.
He knew he should hate himself or damn himself for being weak but this creature this vampire had made her way into his heart. He loved her dearly. One day he would tell her but not now the future was still uncertain and there was still to many unanswered question hanging over their heads. Was his last thought was sleep claim him as well.
A warm breeze woke him and he found himself alone in bed. Looking around he found the bright full moon shining through the bedroom window and a cloud of steam coming from the
open bath room door. When Anderson finally rose from the bed he heard the water stop. He smiled and started to eat the sandwich waiting for him on the bedside table.
“Your awake finally I see,” she spoke from the bathroom doorway. He looked to see her wrap in a towel her hair still wet it glisten as it cling to her shoulders and face. He smiled seeing the toothbrush hanging from her mouth. “Sometimes I think your more a vampire than I am,” she laughed going back into the bathroom.
“Well ah hope ye left me some hot water,” he laughed stepping into the shower as she leaned over the sink.
“Hey that was only one time,” she laughed biting back a moan and hurried from the sight of his muscle form outlined clearly in the shower. She shook her head as she dressed ‘Maxwell says no matter how I feel we are not to get involved’ but she was finding it harder and harder to keep herself under control when they were this close all the time. ‘I have two missions destroy the FREAKS that threaten this city and get my revenge on Hellsing. Maxwell told me what they did to me. I’ll show them no one betrays me and when I am finish with them they will wish I was never created’ she laughed inwardly.
“What are we doing tonight?” she questioned hearing Anderson step from the shower.
“Nothin ah hav meetin with Maxwell. Ye free tonite dinna be gone long,” he answered. She leaped from the bed entering the bathroom with a hopeful look on her face.
“Really?” she smiled
“Aye,” he nodded she threw her arms around him smiling with a quick kiss on the cheek she disappeared. ‘See you later sexy’ she purred into his mind. He shook his head touching his cheek as a smile crept across his face.
There was an extra bounce in his step as he walked down the hallway toward Maxwell’s office. For a few more moments he was on top of the world. Than he opened the door and his smile dead on his lips at the look that greeted him.
ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Alucard felt her as if she was right in Integra’s office with them. ‘She has to be close’
“Is their anything else you need of me my master?”
“No you are dismissed Alucard,” she waved him away going back to the files on her desk. He quickly opened his void and stepped though, as he exited he looked around spotting her right away. She was humming a haunting tone as she strolled past the compound looking as if she was
just out for a walk. Her dark energy could be felt by every vampire around as is she wanted to be found.
“Coming home already Seras?” he questioned coming up behind her.
“My home is the Vatican with Alexander. I am only observing the enemy nothing more.”
“Oh so Hellsing is now your enemy and why is that?”
“Hellsing no, You my sire and your lover are my enemy. Now if you will excuse me I have things to do people to see,” he watched as she separated into sixty or so bats and flew off. But he wasn’t going to let her get away that easy.
She walked though the grave yard and came to stop in front of two head stones. Something drew her there but what she didn’t know.
“Senior Police Officer Victoria loving father and husband. Nora Victoria loving wife and mother. Their names seem so familiar.... why?”
“That is because they are your parents Seras Victoria,” she leapt over the head stones and perched on a near by one looking him over.
“Why are you here? What do you want?”
“I want you to come home, .....and you have something of mine.”
“Oh yes... is this what you mean?” she reached behind her and under her coat pulling out his black 13 mm Jackal turning it over in her hands. Seras stepped down from the head stone and pointed the gun at him with a laugh. “My home is the Vatican I told you,” she hissed as he stepped closer till they were only separated by the length of her out stretched arms and his Jackal. He reached out one of his long arms ,his gloved hand stroked her cheek softly.
“Your home is with me my bride till the end of time. You belong to me body, mind and spirit my dark child, my police girl,” he gave her a fanged smile looking at her over his yellow shades. She leapt away from him and sat on another head stone both her feet tapping against the stone, the gun resting on her knees as she looked at him strangely.
“What ...what did you call me?”,she sounded confused her red eyes softening a little.
“My Police girl,” he spoke as strange flashes of something rushed through her mind they were too jumbled for her to make out. But somehow they bothered her bring out emotions for this vampire her betrayer.
“Don’t call me that,” she growled rubbing her temples as if trying to hold back a headache.
“Why is that you have all ways been my Police girl since the night I turned you. The name fits you even than, you were such a brave and beautiful little human. Marching into that church all alone with only your gun. Shooting at me without fear even when that FREAK took you as a hostage you were afraid but still you agreed to my plan. You my police girl looked me right In the eye and agreed for me to shot you. When I turned you ,you fit so perfectly into my arms as I carried you away from that place.”
“You lie my sire you lie,” she hissed
“Don’t call me that. Call me master, Alucard, but don’t call that police girl,” he watched her red eyes as they glazed over as if remembering some past pain. It was a little tilting of her head as she studied him in the way she use too. When she spoke it was in a haunted small voice her shoulders dropped and shook a little as if she was in pain of some kind.
“Why my master... why?”her red eyes shone with a deep sadness as she stared him in the eyes. He grew confused by her question but before he could question her about it, she growled rubbing her head again “I don’t like for anyone to play with my mind my sire,” he growled this time not liking when she called them that. But for a moment he saw his dark child the way she use to be.
Alucard approached her again and again she leapt back a few headstones but this time standing.
He frowned watching her shake her head as if fighting off something in her mind. He tried again to read her mind and quickly had to draw away what he saw made him think of his time spent locked away. Her eerie laughter drifted through the graveyard as she leapt to the next head stone and open fire on him.
“If you wanted to play all you had to do was say so,” he laughed pulling his .454 Casul and open fire as well. Again it was like looking at his mirror image as they ran from place to place shooting one another. The damage healed instantly still they continued till they were face to face. His Casul pointed at her head, the Jackal pointed at his chest. They both laughed wildly hearing the click of the guns signaling they were empty. Alucard and Seras jumped apart their tench coats blowing in the breeze. “It that all you have police girl I thought we were going to play police girl?” he laughed
“Don’t call me THAT,” she yelled throwing the Jackal at him and pulling a Katana. She streaked toward him and missed as he side stepped her. This went on for an hour she would strike at him and miss as he side stepped or blocked with his guns. When Seras realized this was getting her no where she disappeared into the shadows.
Alucard was startled not being able to feel her energy as he turned his head as flash of silver caught his attention but it was to late and he lost his arm. He laughed reforming his arm just in time to dodge the next attack. He snatched her from the shadows during her attack throwing her into a head stone.
He saw her jumping to her feet but the next thing he knew his right arm fell to the ground. She did nothing just watched as he reformed his arm and pointing his guns at her firing. The bullets went right though her and into the broken headstone. Her laughter once again drifted eerily around the grave yard on the breeze but the figure didn’t move only watched him. He looked around still he couldn’t tell where she was only feeling her dark energy and it was every where.
Out of no where bullets were fired at him, first from the front than the back, he turn quickly firing in to the shadows behind him. Hearing her hiss of pain he knew he had hit her. The figure standing in front of him disappeared melting back into the shadows.
“Very clever,” he laughed
“Oh it’s gets better my sire watch,” four Seras look-a-likes stepped from behind four different head stones and did nothing but look at him.
“I will not fall for the same trick twice”
“Awe but this is one of my best ones my sire,” they all spoke nodded to one another and leapt to the top of the headstones. He found himself surrounded and idly wondered what she was going to do having never seen a vampire do such a thing. They looked to one another “I want to do it,” “no I want too,” “hey how come I can’t?” the final one laughed “why don’t we all do it,” he was confused not being able to figure out which was real or what they were talking about.
But didn’t have time to think farther as they all attacked him, he found himself being punched kicked and stabbed from all sides. He could block a few hits but not all, their laughter was addictive as it surround him. The big shocker came as a fifth Seras stepped from behind another headstone and open fire on him as well. The four leapt away as he lay on the ground bloody and in pieces.
They all threw their back their heads and laughed wildly as they watched him reform his body. ‘I never knew she was this powerful she truly belongs at my side as my no-life queen,’ he laughed.
“Situation A. Release control art restriction to level 1. Hold release until target silenced....... .now the fun begins,” his gloves glowed red as his lower body became covered in shadows. He laughed wildly seeing the twinkle in the red eyes of the five Seras. A large eight eyed hounds’ head formed out of his left arm, swallowing the nearest Seras. The others looked out raged and leapt away from him still perched on the head stones. Alucard fired on one and his hound swallowed up another one.
“Hey give them back,” the last three spoke again leaping away from him.
“Come and take them if you can,” he laughed watching as the shadows swirled around one of the Seras as the others disappeared into the shadows. Like him the whole lower half of her body was covered in shadows as they streaked toward one another. It surprised him again just how powerful she was? It would seem he had passed on all his powers with none of restrictions he was bound by. He was feeling everything he is, all his powers from her his former fledgling as the two shadow figures crashed together. But he also knew neither of them was fighting at full strength but still this was most thrilling battle he had in a long time.
The wind created from the clash of the two broke even more of the headstones. The two shadow hounds rip and tore at the other neither gaining any ground on the other. Alucard laughter stopped as Seras plunged her hand into his shadows freeing the two look-a-like’s his hound swallowed. She didn’t noticed as he formed another hound out of his other hand till it bite off her head.
“Target has been silenced. Limited power release is completed.” he shook his head looking at her body as it lay still the look alike’s turned to shadows and disappeared. ‘Such a waste’ he thought turning away from her and walking away.
Alucard only smirked as he stared into the empty room as Integra entered not believing her eyes.
