The first winter rain and the place they first met
When Eiri walked throw his apartment door he had Shuichi on his mind. He couldn't seem to get the way he looked off of his mind. He grumbled and kicked his shoes off. 'Shuichi looked bad, I can't help but notice he seemed paler.' He set some take out he had bought on the way home on the kitchen table and slumped in the chair.
"Get out of my mind! Damn you Shuichi!" He yelled angerly hitting the table. The last thing he wanted was his ex-lover on his mind to distract him work.

"Shuichi...are you going to work today?" Hiro asked through the closed door of Shuichi's room before recieving no amswer like the past million times he had asked. "Shu....Just say yes or no..." He added sadly.
Shuichi was sitting on his bed again covered in blood. He had dreamed about Eiri and woke up only an hour before. He shook as he held his legs close to his chest, all he could seem to do to answer Hiro's queastions was shake his head no. He wasn't going to work and he wasn't okay. "N-no.....I-I'm...not.....g-going..." He managed to choke out.
"Alright...I'll let the others know.." Hiro turned and walked away from the door and out the front. He had erans to do that day.
After Shuichi calmed down a bit he stood on his weak legs and walked to the bathroom. He cleaned himself up first before gathering his bedsheets and clothes to do laundry. He made sure not to leave any evidence of his cutting, besides the cuts that marked his arms. He sighed as he wrapped his arm in bandages he used for his hand then sat out on the living room couch. As he sat there thinking of nothing a sudden urge hit him. He wanted to go to the park.
He dressed in warm clothes and slipped on his shoes before leaving the apartment and making the long walk to the park he had met Yuki at. He wanted to be there more than anywhere else right now. He had a feeling he would feel better if he sat in the park for a couple of hours. He smiled a bit when he walked through the park towards the place he held dear. It was the first time in about four days he had smiled for real even if it was barley considered a smile.
The sky was cold and grey as snow clouds rolled in for the first snow. It was a day the fit Shuichi's mood. He stood for a long time staring at the spot he had first laid eyes on his ex-lover ignoring the other people that passed by. Shuichi would have been relieved that no one recognized him if he was off in his memories.
Tears silently fell as he moved to sit on a bench. The day was slipping away quickly. The remaining light of the sun was already beginning to fade by the time he was pulled back to reality. He hadn't eaten since yesterday and felt a bit hungry, but he didn't want to eat. He just sat in the same spot until the sun was gone and the night took control. He didn't even leave when rain began to fall from the sky.

When Hiro returned form his erans he found an empty house and laundry still sitting in the washer. He looked around and found no sign of Shucichi. He shrugged it off for the time being hoping Shuichi would show before dark came, but when night did come and Shuichi didn't return Hiro grew worried. He grabbed his coat and left into the now falling rain to find Shuichi.
"Where can you be." He thought out load as he got into the car.
He drove to all the places he could think of as the rain fell harder. He was nearly out of places to look when he remembered the park. 'He has to be there!' He thought as he drove as fast as he could to the only place he had left to look besides Yuki's apartment.
Shuichi was still sitting on the park bench when Hiro came through the rain to his side. He looked up at his best friend and smiled weakly as he began to cry. Hiro frowned and picked Shuichi up cradling him like a wounded child and carried him to the car. Not a word was spoken the entire time Hiro drove back to the apartment. Shuichi was soaked to the bone when Hiro pulled him from the car and carried him inside. He took him into the bathroom and set him on the closed toilet as he turned on the water to start a hot bath to warm Shuichi who was frozen.
"Shu...are you alright?" Hiro asked as he began to undresss him.
Shuichi shook his head not realizing anything that was going on. He didn't even notice when Hiro removed his sweater. It was only when Hiro grabbed Shuichi's wrist that he snapped back to reality.
"Ah!..H-hiro...I can do it...go..I can take...a b-bath on my own." He pulled his arm from Hiro's hand as the red head stood.
"You sure Shu?" Hiro asked still eyeing Shuichi's bandaged arms.
"Yes..I'll be fine."
Hiro sighed and left Shuichi alone in the bathroom. SHuichi sighed at how close Hiro had come to finding out Shuichi had turned to self mutilation. Shuichi finished undressing and slipped into the warm water letting out a sigh of comfort as his body melted and relaxed.
