SayinAngelPrincess: Sorry it took so long to update but I�ve had some major writers block plus the fact that I didn�t have a computer for about two weeks.

002: Yeah she went nuts without it. Anyway SayinAngelPrincess does not own Cyborg 009 the only thing that she owns in this story is her character that�s it.

Chapter Four: The Calm Before The Storm

Jamie woke up and looked at the clock, which read 6:30, she got up and decided to work on breakfast, and so she quietly grabbed her CD�s and CD player and went downstairs.

Once she entered the kitchen she placed her CD player on the table and connected the potable speakers and softly played her music. She then went to the fridge and got out everything she would need for her big breakfast. In the middle of making breakfast she began to sing to the current song playing.

When Jamie had finished singing she heard applause coming from behind her. She turned around and saw 007 and 006 standing there.

�Oh you scared me. I�m not used to having an audience.�

�Sorry we didn�t mean to scare you.� 007 smiled

�That�s all right. I hope I didn�t wake you

�No of course not. I�m so used to waking up early to make breakfast that it�s become a habit for me.� 006 explained.

�Yeah and I�m just an early riser.� 007 said putting his two sense in.

�Well since you two are here would you mind helping me finish breakfast?� She asked.

�Sure what do you want us to do?� 006 asked.

�Well if you wouldn�t mind keeping an eye on the eggs and bacon while I take care of the pancakes and GB if you wouldn�t mind setting the table that would be great.�

�You know I have to admit it�s nice to have someone around here calling me by name instead of by number.� 007 smiled.

By the time the others woke up, the three had finished making breakfast and were now setting it on the table.

�Something smells good what is it?� 008 asked as he and the others sat down at the table.

�Its called breakfast.� 006 stated as he removed the covers of the hot meals. On the table there was eggs, bacon, toast, and pancakes.

�Either my eyes are playing tricks on me or that�s actually real food.� 009 said rubbing his eyes in disbelief.

�Are you saying you don�t like my Chinese food?� 006 asked in complete shock.

�No I�m just saying this is a nice change because to be quite honest with you it gets quite tiring having Chinese food day in and day out.� 009 defended himself.

Jamie giggled. �No, you�re not seeing things.�

They all began to dig in but 002 hesitated a bit still not trusting this new girl.

�Oh will you relax already I didn�t poison the food or anything like that and if you don�t believe me you can ask Chang or GB since they helped me.�

007 and 006 nodded in agreement.

002 mumbled something as he began to eat his breakfast.

�So what is everyone doing today?� Dr. Gilmore asked.

�Well I was thinking of finding a mall or something so I can get some outfits.� Jamie told everyone.

�There�s a town about 15 minutes away from here that�s got some pretty good stores. Why don�t we go once we�re done here?� 003 suggested.

�Sounds good to me.�

�Dr. Gilmore would it be all right if we borrowed the car?�

�Of course go right ahead.�

�Thank you.�

The two girls finished eating their breakfast, got up from the table, put their dishes in the sink, and ran upstairs to quickly change.

A few minutes later they came downstairs, said goodbye and left.

�I will never understand what it is with girls and shopping.� 007 sighed.

The others nodded in agreement.

Jamie and Francoise were in one of the clothing stores discussing about many things.

�So Jamie why do you like Jet so much? I mean he�s been acting like a jerk and he�s been basically interrogating you since you got here.�

�I know, but that�s his way of protecting himself.�

Seeing the confused look on 003�s face she tried to explain. �You see he�s like me when he meets someone new he immediately throws his walls up surrounding himself and until he truly gets to know the person he is very cautious around them. Once he gets to know the person well enough then he�ll start showing his true self.

�Wow I never thought of that but you said you were the same way and yet you�ve never acted that way around us.�

�That�s because I know you all real well from the show.�

�So besides the fact that he reminds yourself of you why else do you like him?�

�Let�s see I love his attitude, his tough guy image especially when on the inside he�s like a big cuddly teddy bear, and looking really good doesn�t hurt either.�

The two girls then burst out laughing causing some people to stare at them.

�I think maybe we should go pay for these outfits and get going.� Francoise suggested.

Jamie nodded in agreement and the two girls went to do just that.

�Hey maybe later we could go to that small café that we passed for lunch.�

�Sounds good to me.�

Once breakfast was done Dr. Gilmore went into his study room to do some research and took a sleeping 001 with him so he could keep an eye on him, leaving the remaining Cyborg team to do as the please.

006 and 007 were in the kitchen cleaning up; 005 was outside enjoying nature while 008 was going for his morning swim; leaving 004, 009, and 002 inside talking and playing a game of cards.

�You know 002 I think you should stop treating Jamie like she�s an enemy she has been really nice to you since she got here and you�ve just been treating her like shit.� 009 pointed out to his best friend.

�First of all I have not treated her like shit and second of all you know I always act this way around people I first meet and don�t let up until I know I can truly trust them.�

�Tell me about it you were that way with all of us.� 004 sighed as he thought back to when 002 had met all of them.

�You never acted that way with me.� 009 told him.

�Yeah, well you were a different story.�

�How so?� 009 asked curiously.

�I don�t know you just were.� 002 growled as he let out a frustrated sigh. �Now stop asking me all these questions and lets just get back to the game.�

�I have noticed one thing about her that�s odd though.� 004 stated.

�One thing? I�ve noticed that everything about her is odd.� 002 laughed.

004 glared at him. �Anyway don�t you think it�s strange that in her explanation last night she never mentioned anything about her family and friends? I wonder why that is?�

The other two just shrugged not knowing what to say. They were about to go back to their game when Dr. Gilmore came running out of his study room.

�Quick, help me gather everyone up.�

�Why what�s wrong doctor?� 009 asked.

�Black Ghost is attacking again.� Dr. Gilmore explained.

�What? Where?� 002 asked.

�I�ll tell you when we get everyone together. 003 and Jamie are on their way back already.�

The three Cyborgs nodded and went to get their other teammates.

SayinAngelPrincess: Well that�s it for this chapter. I know it kind of sucks but I promise the next chapter will be better and hopefully you won�t have to wait so long for an update. By the way does anyone know the name of the place in Africa they went to because I�m drawing a blank and they took the show off Cartoon Network so I can�t watch it to refresh my memory. Anyways Read and Review and if you have any ideas or anything you would like to see happen please let me know.
