Chapter 4, The Song

Chapter 4, The Party
The music throughout NG could be heard from parking lots away, it's rhythm ringing through the buildings.
Inside the NG building, the staff and family was going at the party, bouncing and cheering as the top two bands of Japan rocked out.

The first words of the debut song of Nittle Grasper rang throughout the building as if there was no tomorrow, and as if there was no coming New Year.

As the song ended, Ryuichi turned, and faced Shuichi, who if he kept grinning, he would split his face in two. Ryuichi walked up to Shuichi, placing a hand on his shoulder, and turning him to face him. Ryuichi brought his hand up to rest on Shuichi's cheek, leaning forward, and brushing his lips against the younger singer.
Ryuichi broke into a dazzling smile saying,
“Happy New Year, Shu-chan.”
Shuichi just blinked a few times before turning a brilliant shade of bright red.
“An...ano, Ryuichi-san...” he stammered. Ryuichi simply smiled, bowed, and left the stage, leaving Shuichi back to dwell on his own thoughts.
As Shuichi walked off the stage, his blush got even brighter, if that was possible, at all the praise and congratulations he was getting from fellow staff and friends. He felt a slight tap on his shoulder, as he turned around, and his eyes widened.
“Yu...Yuki....”
