A/N: So here's chapter number 3 guys I hope you enjoy it and yeah so I don't feel like having an extremely long AN this time so I'll make this short. Oh and if you guys want to find me on Myspace I have it as the link on my homepage. Drop by sometime to say hi if you want so yeah here's chapter 3 of NGND.
And now since I love visuals this is what everyone is wearing in case you forgot...
Atayla: Black tank top with a white cross on the front, black pleated skirt, black thigh highs, heeled Mary Janes, school jacket with the sleeves rolled up, black nail polish, fingerless gloves and plain black belt, has hair in long ringlets.
Meir: Normal school uniform (black pleated skirt + tank top, grey, white, black jacket with school emblem) for girls except with stilettos with ribbons going up her legs, really really spiked out short black hair.
Vai: Silver V-neck tank top, faded and burnt school uniform skirt tied together with sky blue ribbon, blue stockings, ankle high point toe shit kicker, school jacket with missing buttons, her hair is blonde and is slanted so it gets longer towards the front and shorter towards the back.
Chaelly: Neon green tank top, electric blue pleated skirt, lavender and black knee highs, regular Mary Janes, lots of different colored belts for a skirt that doesn't need them (at least 5), and her jacket is burnt, torn, and ripped to fit her insane personality, Chaelly has dyed neon bright purple hair really light purple though and her hair is long. She is also wearing a pair of boxers underneath her skirt that have skulls on them. She stole them from Atayla. Atayla has no idea of this...yet.
Zaphikel: Black collared dress shirt, Hamtaro tie, gray slacks, black leather shoes.
Raphael: Black and white vertical stripped shirt, no tie, black slacks, black leather shoes
Barbiel: White collared classy button up shirt, navy blue pencil skirt, black small heeled kitten toed shoes.
Barbelo: Gray business suit attire (low cut and short skirt too), crimson tie, black fuck me pumps.
Astaroth: Regular school uniform but open a little on top and a little loose, sleeves rolled up, cut hair but still long (think Armand from the Anne Rice BOOKS not movie mind you) basically organized mess but still hot as Hell.
Asmo: Mint colored collard dress shirt, lavender tie, black slacks, black leather shoes.
Mika: Regular uniform except spike out hair and chains and all the little punk accessories that make us love Mika so damn much.
Uriel: Caramel colored dress shirt, emerald tie, black slacks, black leather shoes.
Belial: (Surprise surprise surprise she's a teacher too hahahahahahahahaha) Hair in short ringlets, horn-rimmed glasses, gray low cut short button up dress with a small fitted woman's suit jacket over it, flesh colored stockings and gray fuck me pumps.
Setsuna, Sara, Ruri, Kato, Kurai, Boyz, Noyz, Kirie, Raziel, Shateiel and Leviathan are all wearing more or less what they are supposed to. If I forgot anyone oops sorry.
Assiah
He was having a nice dream for once. That didn't involve anyone dieing or sadistic angels on a power trip. No demons with their perverse little ideas about what the world should be like. As a matter of fact it was about Sara. She was standing in front of him with a smile that rubbed off on him. It was a good dream. It was a perfect dream. Until his alarm went off.
He mumbled out something and groped around in the poor light to find the glowing green numbers on the clock that wouldn't stop beeping. He found it by knocking it off of the table next to his bed. "Fuck." was his angered response.
He rolled off of the bed, well couch and picked the clock up from off the floor. He stared down at the obnoxious green numbers that spelled out 5:30. He had school and he was fighting the urge to say 'Screw It' and go back to sleep. Sara would kill him of course if he didn�t show up.
He felt empty inside for a moment thinking about her when she was wasn't near him. The bad dreams were keeping him up at night and without her there to tell him it was over it was hard to have a good night. She was back with that bitch who was, more or less, his own mother.
With Time stopped for the majority of the 'Situation' that had sprung up because of him it was like no one in Assiah noticed they had been frozen for about a year. Of course it didn't matter because they still remembered how much shit they went through because of some so called fucking angels.
Of course he still couldn't help but moan that he had to go to school. It was convenient that Time had been considerate to stop at the beginning of second quarter. New classes, new people, and a new start. It was bizarre having everyone back. Ruri, Kato, Boyz, and even Alexial.
Ruri with her new body, well old body, was with her parents. They were supposed to be dead but they were back too. It was all too damn bizarre for Setsuna to take in. It seemed like the only thing that got all the bullshit out of his mind was drinking himself to sleep off of all the booze Kato had lying around his apartment.
Kato. Yeah Kato was there too. With all the shit that was said at the "Last" battle it was hard to see him back. Of course after they had destroyed YHWH the bodies weren't hard to find. Kurai said she found Kato's body outside the doors of YHWH's room. He was more or less in one piece. They buried him where the royal Gehenna family members were, it seemed fitting enough so it happened.
The only person really gone was Kira. If he was ever really a person at all. Setsuna clutched his head and sat down. He didn't want to think about all the crap that had gone on with Kira and Lucifer and the Nanatsusaya. Even Alexial couldn't explain it to him past the point that explained that Kira was a combination of the sword and part of Lucifer's personality, not soul. It too was too fucking bizarre.
Setsuna just sat there on the couch in Kato's apartment with his head in his hands sighing.
"You're gonna be late if you just sit there retard." came from somewhere in front of him in the dark apartment. It was winter which meant there was no light out this early in the morning. It sucked to wake up when it was still dark out.
Setsuna looked up only to have the light above him turned on. He winced and shut his eyes tight. He rubbed the sleep out of them while he heard Kato walk into the kitchen.
"Thanks for the warning asshole." Setsuna sneered.
"No prob jerkoff." was Kato snide reply. With a smirk Kato threw something at Setsuna. He caught it and looked down at it. "What's this?" he asked looking down at the rent bill in his hand.
"Since you're crashing here you're paying half. Now come on I'm hungry and I feel like being nice and cooking. So move your pale scrawny ass." smirked Kato.
"You fucking suck Kato." he smiled and got up off the couch and sat down at the rag tag kitchen table and slumped over in his seat. Kato just shrugged and replied "Yeah I sucked your mother last night you fucking pussy now shut the fuck up or I'll mess up the eggs."
"You're supposed to put oil in the pan first." was Setsuna's answer.
"Fuck. Oops. Oh who gives fuck if I add it now." he stated as he bent down to get the vegetable oil out of the cabinet under the counter. Setsuna thought he should say something but forgot what it was. He remembered what he should have said when he heard Kato let out a string of obscenities at the frying pan.
"You're not supposed to put oil into an already hot pan it'll splash up onto you." mumbled Setsuna into the kitchen table to muffle his laughter.
"You asshole! You couldn't tell me that before I burned my fucking self!?" Kato yelled looking down at his burned chest. "I forgot." was the other boys response.
Kato's face grew a sadistic smirk as he grabbed the spatula and slid the eggs out of the skillet. He turned and dropped them over onto Setsuna's hunched shoulders.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! FUCK FUCK FUCK HOT!!! MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed out Setsuna at Kato as he kicked the chair at him and bent backwards to get the hot eggs off. Kato just hunched over laughing so hard he almost pissed himself. Setsuna cringed at the pain on his back.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?!!!!!!!"
Kato was crying at this point from laughing so hard he had trouble getting the words out. The image of two boys standing in a kitchen one with egg shaped burns on his back and the other with burns on his chest from oil in their boxers was just as odd as the situation they were in.
"I...-fo..hahahahahahargot-...to hahahahahah-put the-hahahahaha...on a plate ahahahahahaha." choked out Kato holding his gut.
"You're a fucking asshole Kato. I'm taking a shower I'll get something to eat at school."
Kato just kept laughing waving him away and towards the bathroom to go shower. Setsuna's retreating form marched his was to the bathroom wincing at the pain in his back and occasionally cursing under his breath. Of course the only thing Kato heard was a muttered "Asswipe" which caused him to laugh even harder.
When he finally stopped laughing he went over towards the counter and picked up the bread and was on his way over to the toaster when he noticed he had another bill on the table. He got closer and picked it up and read it. "Hot water bill. Sucks for him. I like cold showers."
Kato laughed when he heard a high pitched scream coming from the bathroom. No doubt that it was from Setsuna. Looks like he noticed the cold shower situation too.
"KATO!!!" was what Kato heard as he went to the toaster and made himself some toast as Setsuna came out of the bathroom shivering and ready to kill his best friend.
Much like the way Setsuna was waking up so was his "Better half". Sara grumbled as loud dance music permeated through her bedroom. Another moan accompanied hers. From on the floor Ruri looked up from her sleeping bag and pillow to Sara. Both with bedhead and sleepy eyes. They exchanged a laugh as Sara lowered the volume on her bedroom radio.
"Morning." whispered Ruri. Sara smiled as she rubbed her eyes and replied with a "Morning" of her own. The two of them just looked at each other for a moment before Ruri pulled herself out of her sleeping bag and said "I guess it's time for breakfast right?"
"Yup. Mom should be awake now anyway. Do you want to call your parents and say good morning and stuff?" asked Sara.
Ruri thought for a moment before answering "I will after I get ready and stuff. Thanks for letting me stay over Sara. It feels kinda weird with them back after what I did. I can't believe that they�re alive and I'm alive after everything that has happened I still can't believe it."
Sara looked up at Ruri from her bed and couldn't help but that everything that had happened was because of her and Setsuna. Then again it was scary to think about what could have happened if they didn't intervene with Heaven and Hell. Sara felt like crying but she knew she couldn't.
It wouldn't be right to cry to Ruri about her own problems. It was ridiculous that she should cry at all. She had no right it was her fault. What happened to Ruri was her fault. The words kept ringing in her ears. Ruri had gone blind, been Rosiel mind slave, and then died because of her.
Then in Heaven she found Ruri again as Lil. As a Staker. For Sara it was a second chance, despite the fact that Lil didn't remember anything about who she was before. Sara was surprised to say the least. She had been told that Stakers were Grigoris and Grigoris are the souls of angels.
Ruri was no angel to begin with. Sara had been confused for awhile. It took some time for her to remember that while Ruri was not an angel, Rosiel was. Ruri had become part of Rosiel so when she died part of him died too. Sara could only put together the facts that Ruri had been part of an angel when she died.
That was how she became a grigori. At least that was the only scenario that made sense at this point in her mind. Sara was getting lost in her own thoughts again, so much so she almost didn't hear Ruri.
"Hey are you okay?" came Ruri's soft gentle voice.
Sara was brought back to reality and answered "Yeah I'm fine I was just thinking about all the stuff that's happened."
"Oh. Hey can I ask you something Sara?" replied Ruri timidly.
"Yeah sure what is it?" asked Sara.
"What's up with your mom?" replied Ruri.
"What about her?" snapped Sara.
Ruri's face went pale and apologized quickly and then said "It's nothing."
Sara instantly felt bad that she made Ruri feel bad about asking. "Sorry I'm not on good terms with her I guess. She still hates me a little because of Setsuna. It's my fault and I feel like crap about the whole thing. She just enjoys making my life Hell right now." she mumbled back.
"Oh. Sorry I didn't mean to bring up a sore subject I didn't know." Ruri shrugged and moved towards the bedroom door to go get ready in the bathroom.
Sara watched as Ruri went towards the door and didn't realize what she said until a few moments after it came out of her mouth "Wait!�
Ruri turned around to face Sara who was barely on the bed anymore with a sad look on her face. She knew what she had to say was important. She stopped and walked over to her friend. Ruri sat down on the bed next to Sara and asked "What's wrong?"
Sara shrugged for a moment and replied "The reason mom hates me so much isn't only because of Setsuna. After you...well you know, died. She was going to send me off to England to marry me off so I wouldn't see Setsuna anymore and when we got to the airport he came after us and came to get me."
Ruri just sat there nodding her head and whispering words of understanding to her best friend. "Ok so then what?" she asked concerned.
Sara slumped her shoulders and laughed a little before talking "Well we made a scene and I guess it was big enough for whoever was in England to find about it. They broke off the deal with my mom. She still hasn't forgiven me. She disowns me now. At least in her mind. The only reason I'm still here with her is because she doesn't want the embarrassment of throwing out another one of her children."
Sara laughed again weakly and looked up at Ruri with a smile. Ruri smiled back and gave Sara a hug and told her it was alright and that everything was better now that things were going back to normal.
"Ruri I'm scared about what's going to happen this time. It makes me want to hide. I don't know if I can do this again with Heaven and everything else." stated Sara a meek look spreading across her features.
Ruri looked shocked and answered "Sara you were strong enough to deal with this one time, you can do it again. You have friends to lean on and that will keep you moving forward through whatever is happening now. You're not the only one this is hurting Sara, I don't mean to sound like a jerk but you have to think of others too."
With that Ruri got up off the bed and went towards the door. She turned around and motioned to Sara and said "Of course right now we are all in the same boat and we can't try to fix the problem all by ourselves. Sometimes we have to help others first before we can help ourselves."
Sara smiled and followed Ruri out of the bedroom and down to breakfast. As they went down the stairs they were greeted by Sara's mom. "Good Morning girls. There's cereal and toast and juice on the table I'm going out to the bank I'll be back in a little while. We'll leave for school then so hurry and get ready."
Sara and Ruri exchanged looks before replying with a joint 'Thank You' and then together they went into the dining room for breakfast. When they both heard the front door close Sara looked up from her cereal to say "See she can't stand to be around me. It's like to her I'm diseased."
Ruri gave Sara a weak smile and answered "You have to give her time too Sara. Things won't change overnight."
"I know but it would make things easier if they did." she replied.
"Yeah me too." stated Ruri as they both went back to their breakfast.
Gehenna
Now Kurai had seen a lot of strange things, killed a lot of people, saved a lot to, but she was still wary of the idea of even going to school in Assiah. She had to repeatedly tell herself over and over an over again it would be like school was done her for the Evils like her.
Maybe it was her nerves over going back to Assiah and seeing Setsuna that kept her up the night before or maybe it was the fact that despite being a teenage girl she had no clue what to wear. It was hard to figure that out to. For once Kurai wished Hatter was there to help her get ready.
'Well stranger things have happened' she thought as she stood in front of her closet looking between the clothes in there and the school uniform on the table to her left. She was fighting the urge to just wear whatever she wanted instead of the uniform.
"I've never seen a sight as sad as this in my whole merry life, this is very disheartening Princess." came an amused voice from behind Kurai.
"MAD HATTER!" was what came out of Kurai's mouth as a response.
"Who else would it be my dear? I suppose I've been gone for too long. You can't even dress yourself without me can you? It's lovely to see that I've been missed." Belial answered with a smirk.
"Damn clown." mumbled Kurai as Belial pushed her away from the closet and picked up the uniform on the table, taking it out and examining it.
"Yes but you love me all the same. Stranger things have and can happen dear Princess." replied Hatter using Kurai's words against her.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Just help me out here Hatter." growled Kurai angrily.
"I planned on it my dear. Now let's see what we can do to improve to this outfit to make you look even more stunning." mused Belial trying to get a rise out of Kurai.
Kurai just blushed before answering "Okay then now we are in business. You know clown I really did miss you and your sarcasm."
"Yes I noticed how your love for me burns." replied Hatter sincerely.
"This isn't a time for sarcasm Hatter!" shouted Kurai blushing even harder.
"Whoever said I was joking?" questioned Belial drawing in closer to Kurai and giving her a quick peak on the lips.
Kurai's eyes opened wide as she jumped back and wiped her lips off on her sleeve and shouted "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" The blush now crawling down her neck and making her face almost a plum color.
"I thought we went over this before Princess." was Belial's reply.
"Yeah and what does that have to do with it!" shouted Kurai demanding to know what exactly Hatter was talking about.
"What can I say? I just love kissing cute girls, well along with everyone else." answered Belial with her famous smirk.
Kurai just gave a small 'Hmph!' and added an exasperated "Why do I even bother?!"
Hatter just smiled and answered "Because you missed me. That's why."
Kurai just turned around to face Belial and sighed saying "I hate it when you're right."
"Are you an idiot?" asked the older of the two vampire demons that were getting ready to join their Princess in Assiah soon.
"No I'm not. I just don�t' know how to put this thing on!" Boyz yelled back at his twin that was already ready to go. She was dressed and ready, he however was still struggling to put on the uniform's tie.
"Well it's not that much of a mind bender. It's a tie moron!" she yelled back at her little brother.
"Stop being a bitch then and help me!" he shouted at her.
It was then that Noyz got up in his face and stuck her tongue out at him. Truth be told there was nothing she wouldn't do for her brother now that he was back again. She had felt that all the time that he was gone that she had been missing a part of herself. She was happy again with Boyz back. That didn't mean she wouldn't stop fighting with him though.
"Fine! I'll tie it for you. You. Are. A. Fucking. Idiot. Boyz." she answered.
She grabbed the tie and jerked hard on it pulling one of the parts over the other and through the hole and then twisting the other. The long and shirt of it was that she couldn't tie the damned thing either.
"Oh yeah I'm the fucking idiot." he mused with a smirk on his face.
"Dontcha even start you asshole." replied Noyz.
"Yeah yeah yeah shove it. Let's go find Kurai. I want to leave soon." stated Boyz walking away ripping the tie off and shoving it in his pocket.
"Idiot." was all Noyz got out before cracking a smile. It was good having someone to argue with again.
It was good timing. Very good timing. Very very good timing that kept Alexial from finding out Belial was there. Kurai had been getting ready with the help of the Hatter that when Kurai turned around for a moment and looked back Hatter was gone. Seconds later someone knocked on the door and came in without even waiting for a reply.
Kurai came face to face with Alexial who greeted her with a smile and a "Good Morning" of her own. Kurai smiled back and ran towards her with a hug.
"Nice to know that you missed Me." was Alexial's reply.
"We all missed you." answered Kurai.
"I'm sure. You look nice. It seems like you've grown up while I was gone." she stated with a wry smile on her face.
Kurai sneered unconsciously at what Alexial had said and replied, albeit a little angrily, "Not enough to stay alive and see me again. Even now the only reason you're here is because someone brought your brother back. You coming back was an accident." as soon as Kurai said it she regretted it.
Alexial looked shocked and then smiled again and answered "I'm sorry. It's true I didn't want to come back. I had peace finally. I'm sorry if I made the wrong choice in your eyes."
Kurai suddenly felt like shit over what she had said and replied "I didn't mean it like that. It's just that I haven't seen you since I was a kid. I missed you. I'm sorry. I'm acting like a kid again."
"You know it wasn't as great as you think it is. It's not like I was having a party while I wasn't here Kurai. It was just peaceful it was only me by myself. I was alone. It was quiet and I was so calm. Now that I'm back here with you and everyone I wouldn't go back to that though. I'm alive now and that's the way it will be for a long time little one. Don't worry." was what Alexial said next.
Kurai was shocked. That was not what she expected it to be like. Death. She had always thought Alexial and Lucifer ended up somewhere together and Alexial had forgotten about her and everyone else.
"What about Lucif...-" asked Kurai before being cut off.
"I don't know. I didn't run off with him if that's what you're asking. He died too but his real body is Hell his soul can't die because his body is what keeps him alive as long as one is there the other can't die. He didn't die. The body he had I know survived but another soul had it for awhile. It was probably Nanatsusaya." cut in Alexial.
"Kira?" asked Kurai.
"I guess if that's what you wan to him. 'Kira' is a soul made out of Lucifer's personality and some of his memories and the sword's soul. Of course he is also part of the person whose body he uses to try to come after me. He might still be alive but I don't know one way or the other." she answered.
"What about you and Lucifer?" asked Kurai wondering if Kira could still be alive.
"He found me in Heaven. He was my lover, just like Nanatsusaya or 'Kira' they aren't the same person. I don't love either one of them. I don't think I could. That's just the way I am Kurai. I hope you don't end up like me." Alexial stated sadly.
"I don't think that you mean that Alexial. You have to care for something. We all do." replied Kurai sadly looking up at the woman who was her idol for all these years.
"Maybe. I don't feel like thinking about it right now Kurai. I guess it's just about time for you and the little ones to leave. You look perfect Kurai. You've grown up to be very beautiful. You can have anything you want if you know how to get it. Remember that." answered Alexial with a smile.
Kurai smiled back and gave Alexial a hug before saying "Thank you. I always knew you'd come back. One way or another. I would have dragged you back here myself. You'll never die again Alexial. If you do I'll have to go and bring you back to life just to kill you myself." she retorted with a laugh.
"You never cease to surprise me Kurai. I missed you little one." replied Alexial.
"I know you did. I'm just too cute to resist." answered Kurai instantly regretting that she said that too. Looks like Belial was rubbing of on her.
Alexial looked puzzled for a second before finally catching a glimpse of the blue rose on the table next to Kurai. With a smirk Alexial joked "You should find some better friends Kurai before we have a Madhatter of our own."
Kurai's face went pale as Alexial picked up the blue rose and twirled it in between her fingers. Just as Kurai opened her moth to say something Alexial interrupted and stated "Who you choose as your friends doesn't bother me Kurai, just make sure to hide some of your secrets from them otherwise when you find out they're not your friends at all you don't have as big of a problem to deal with."
With that Kurai nodded and her head turned to the direction of the door where another knock could be heard. "Hey Kurai can I come in?" it was Noyz.
Kurai looked up at Alexial and with a nod replied "Yeah sure I'm just about ready to go anyway."
"Good Boyz is ready too. I guess we should hurry up if we want to meet Setsuna and everyone. Hey Alexial." was Noyz's cheerful greeting.
"Hello Noyz. I think it is time now Kurai. Don't have too much fun down in Assiah." she warned.
"Alright Alexial I'll be on my best behavior." answered Kurai with a little smirk.
"Go on get going." said Alexial.
That was all Noyz and Kurai had to hear to bolt out the door enthusiastically not able to wait to get down to Assiah to see everyone. They left Alexial with waves goodbye and that was it.
Once Alexial knew they were out of earshot she looked down at the blue rose in her hand and spoke with her aggravation clear in her voice "Belial! Whatever you're doing is not amusing!"
"No need to shout Alexial I'm right here. Sometimes you remind me so much of my Master it's frightening." came Hatter's voice from beside her.
"It should be clown." hissed Alexial turning to face Belial.
"Oh la la my dear you don't have to be so testy. I couldn't care less about you Alexial. You don't fit my tastes. I don't like woman that act like men most of the time." giggled the Madhatter.
"Do you hate me Belial enough to concern yourself in the affairs of the Princess? All this because of Lucifer? You really are a pathetic woman." smirked Alexial.
Belial's eyes light up as she spoke "Alexial I don't think you're aware of my track record here 'Darling' I have always gotten what I've wanted through and by my own terms. It's not only Lucifer I want for fun it's Nanatsusaya too just because now I realize how much it would burn you if I had my way with both."
It was now Alexial's turn to be a little pissed "Why would I care Hatter?"
Belial laughed a little before reaching out and running her fingers through Alexial's hair and replying "Don't play Prima Donna Alexial you despite how much of a man you act like you are very much a woman. Woman like you are possessive you don't want a whore like me touching what's yours because you long for Lucifer's attention and vice versa." with that Belial gave Alexial's hair a sharp tug.
With a smirk Alexial sent 3 of Belial's fingers flying across the room. She had cut Hatter with a sharp little knife that had been on the table next to her the whole time.
Belial hissed and then started to laugh as she walked to the fingers and scooped them up from off the floor. The reattached themselves and it made Hatter laugh even more. Looking back at Alexial Belial said "Well for now I have no interest in touching what's 'yours' I have higher priorities and a much better bedmate in mind than Lucifer at the moment my dear."
With a tip of her hat she was gone leaving Alexial alone in the room blue rose still in hand. Alexial looked done at it she watched it for a moment waiting for it to do something. When she was sure it was okay she looked away and said out loud knowing Belial could hear her "Don't worry about what I want Belial, I always get what I want too."
Alexial hissed when she felt the rose in her hand melt into liquid. She opened her hand and let the nasty blue liquid spill out of her hand and with a smile of her own added "I guess you have a few tricks of your own too Belial. Wait till you see mine."
Hell
This was ridiculous. This coming from Belial actually meant something about the meaning of the word. Trekking through knee high water to go pay a visit to Leviathan was ridiculous, especially when he was being contrary.
"Come out come out wherever you are Levi. This little game of hide and seek is all fun and thrills but we this is quite important Leviathan." hissed out Hatter getting annoyed.
After waiting a few moments she was getting fed up with his petulant childlike attitude over everything. "Now listen Leviathan I know you are watching and it is making me less and less patient. I don't ask for much now come out!"
With that a wave of nasty looking water was thrown in Belial's direction drenching the Madhatter in the murky fluid and making her makeup run. However after Belial was done being splashed a familiar form appeared. Leviathan in his non-dragon form stood in front of Belial, arms crossed and looking as bored as ever.
"What is it? I was sleeping." he yawned out.
"I was hoping you wouldn't mind doing your favorite new friend a favor by joining her in Assiah." stated Belial fixing her pasty clown makeup.
"Oh sure oh course anything for you Belial, you're just forgetting the fact that I hate you. Not like that matters to you of course. But besides that I don't feel like it, so no." was his reply. As childlike as ever. He wasn't going to go to easily.
"Not me Leviathan, Atayla. It would be nice to have another Satan down in Assiah considering that Heaven will have angels down there to watch Setsuna as well. It might be in our best interest to have many of us watching them as well." replied Belial.
Leviathan actually thought about the offer instead of actual refusing straight out of course the answer was still no if he had any say in the matter, which usually didn't happen anyway.
"I don't think I have a choice if you're the one asking Me." he responded after a moment.
"Hahahahaha well no you don't have a choice but I figured it would a nice gesture if I pretended to care what you thought in the first place Levi boy." rang out the Hatter's laugh.
"I hate it when you talk Belial please just stop laughing it's going to give me a head ache." he asked gently running a hand through strands of his tangled sapphire hair.
"Oh yes and having water thrown at you isn't rude at all my dear." snapped Belial back with a giggle.
"You didn't have to come here, you could have sent a messenger." he answered after a few moments of silence.
"I wasn't sure if 'Mr. High and Mighty Sea Dragon' would eat them or not so it was easier for me to come and get you myself since I don't like to lose any of my little minions." rang out the Hatter.
Leviathan gave her a look before replying "How do you know I won't eat you?"
Belial actually had a good sincere laugh over that one for a few minutes after which she answered "I'm afraid I don't taste very good Levi."
He gave her a snide look and said "Why doesn�t that surprise me."
This was accompanied by Belial sending a wave of water at him leaving him soaking wet and while he pushed his hair out of his face she got right up to him and replied "Time to go Leviathan I have to get you ready and get the stick of dead fish off of you before we leave."
Belial turned on her heel Leviathan following behind her but not before letting out a mumbled "I really should have eaten you when I had the chance at least then I wouldn't have to listen to you."
Of course Belial caught the little remark in a stride and replied with a smirk "Yes but I don't die so I'd just live inside your stomach and talk to you from in there."
The thought of that left Leviathan ready to go bash his head into the wall.
Heaven
Barbiel was having a Hell of a time running Raphael's errands. It was starting to piss her off. Just as they had gotten close to the gateway down to Assiah Raphael had to run into Zaphikel. How they knew each other was a mystery to Barbiel but after talking with him for a moment it was decided that Barbiel would go and get one of Zaphikel's officers ready to go down to Assiah with her.
Barbiel pulled Raphael away to yell at him for a moment but a few seconds of looking into a pair of sad puppy dog eyes made her change her mind and get whoever it was ready.
This was turning out to be quite the morning.
Barbiel got to Zaphikel's manor easily enough, after all he was a high ranking official where he lived was common knowledge to anyone and everyone. The people that greeted her were nice enough and pointed her along in the right direction.
When she got to the room she gave the door a quick rap with her knuckles and walked in briskly hoping to be done with this as quickly as possible so she could rejoin Raphael, who she planned on killing in numerous painful ways for making her his errand girl.
Barbiel was just as surprised as the woman who she ran into when she walked into the room. It was obvious the woman had gone to the door to answer it only to slam into Barbiel.
"Owww!" came out a Barbiel's painful yelp as she rubbed her nose.
The woman in front of her had the same reaction. After a moment Barbiel managed to shut the door with her foot and straightened herself out and extended her hand to the woman with a warm greeting "I am Barbiel I was sent by Lord Zaphikel and Raphael to she that you are well prepared to go down to Assiah with us."
The woman just stood there for a moment before breaking out into laughter. Barbiel just stared down at the platinum blonde woman laughing so hard she was clutching her side. Barbiel couldn't help but wonder what was so funny. After a few moments Anael stopped laughing and apologized for her rudeness.
"I'm sorry I just think it's funny that Zaphikel thinks I can't get ready myself. I mean I haven't been gone so long that I don't remember how to get dressed. I'm Anael I'm sorry for laughing."
"It's alright Lord Raphael is the same was sometimes I must say." replied Barbiel looking around the room. After giving the room a quick scan it was obvious that the room belonged to a man. Hence the pile of male clothes on the floor and well just the mess of it gave away who was the room's main occupant.
Barbiel almost laughed at the fact that this woman and Zaphikel were together. Though it was surprising that someone like him would end up with someone as nice as Anael Barbiel had to guess it was working out. It was odd nonetheless.
"Oh I'm sorry I guess you noticed. Please this is something that is between me and him Miss Barbiel and I think it should not become a public thing please." she answered knowing that Barbiel could tell that Zaphikel and Anael were lovers.
"It's none of my business. My lips are sealed. Besides now that the incident has happened I don't think the situation of what angels choose to do with other angels is much of a major priority anymore." answered Barbiel thinking her thoughts straying over to her and Raphael's relationship (or lack of one) at the moment.
"Thank you. Well I suppose I'm going down to Assiah with you. I just found out awhile ago the council sent me a letter this morning and well...I'm sorry for the short notice." apologized Anael.
Barbiel just smiled and answered "Don't worry about it, I was getting tired of dealing with Raphael's antics anyway. I needed a break."
"Good then I guess I should get dressed then right?" questioned Anael as both women looked down at what she was wearing. Obviously a robe was not going to cut it as proper teaching attire down in Assiah.
The two women went off to looking for something for Anael to wear. It turned out to be a situation that called for Barbiel to take Anael back to Barbiel's own quarters in Raphael's manor since of course Zaphikel had no woman's clothes in his room, of course if he did it might point to some odd things.
After all was said and done Anael was ready to go and so was Barb. The two together became fast friends in the short time it took to get Anael dressed and make their way down to Assiah. All in all it was nice to have another woman to talk to in Barbiel's point of view. Especially about the different ways to get back at Raphael.
Hades
There the two of them were. She just sat there staring back at his reflection in the mirror she was staring at brushing her blonde hair in. She felt out of place in her new body. Well her old body. New, old, it didn't really matter seeing her master like this was odd. He had been distant for the last few days and she couldn't help but think that is was her fault.
"Do you like having your body back?" asked Uriel staring at Kirie. They were both ready and waiting on Raphael to show up so they could leave. Uriel was feeling uneasy at having Kirie go with them. However they were shorthanded and they need her along with others to go with them.
"It's weird. The memories are the worst though. Thank you for taking care of me Uriel. I'm glad I'm alive." she responded putting the brush down and standing up to face him.
She was wearing the uniform and Uriel stood there in black slacks and a dark brown shirt and emerald tie ready to teach. "I'm sorry I couldn't give them back to you. I thought it would be easier if you didn't have to remember what Rosiel did. I apologize Kirie."
She smiled up at his tall form and replied "It was easier without the memories but now that I have them I'm glad I do. I think that's the first time you've called me by my actual name."
Uriel couldn't help but smile and remind her of the fact that it was her that told him that 'Doll' was enough of a name for her.
She answered his smart ass comment with a halfhearted 'hmph'. It was good to be back in her own body and mind. But that didn't help ease the torrent of anger she felt for Rosiel and how he tricked her. All she wanted was to do brutal things to the damned bastard. He had betrayed her and sent her to her death. That was unforgivable, at least in her eyes.
Kirie looked up again at Uriel and decided that she might as well ask him the question that had been on her mind ever since she got her body back "Who was she Uri? The woman who gave me back my memories? How did she do it?"
Uriel wasn't too shocked at the question, in fact he was expecting it eventually and he answered the best he could. "I don't know. I doubt that's the last time we'll see her but I think if we do see her that's a question you should ask her. I'm not sure what her motives are. Perhaps she's trying to tip the scales in her favor. Perhaps she's working for Hell. That seems most likely but all we can do is guess right now."
Kirie wasn't sure what to say to that except "Thank you. Uri. I hope I can still call you Uri or if it bothers you I can call you something else." came out Kirie's odd reply. She still wasn't sure of herself or the things going on in her head.
"If it suits you I have no opinion on it." was his answer.
Kirie couldn't help but smile at his ever serious attitude at anything and everything. Of course Uriel was thinking about the promise he had made to the woman. He was lying to Kirie and he felt bad about it. He knew a lot about the woman who gave Kirie back her memories back, but now wasn't the time to talk about things like that.
He had to worry about the things he had to be making for Atayla. The first body was ready. He had finished it days ago and all it needed was a soul to be put in it. He was waiting on Atayla for the new supplies/body he would need to start the next one.
It was irritating waiting on someone else before he could move on with the next step of what he had to do. Of course it wasn't like it could be helped any.
"Master Uri when will we be leaving?" came Kirie's voice jolting Uriel out of his own thoughts. He answered "As soon as Raphael gets here I must speak with him before we leave."
"Oh alright then, um...can I finish getting ready then since we still have time before we have to go?" questioned the blonde angel timidly.
Uriel thought for a moment before realizing he was in her way of getting ready and answered "Oh yes, sorry go ahead I'll go and wait for Raphael. Take your time."
On that note he left the room leaving Kirie to giggle at how series he always was yet again for the second time within the span of a few minutes.
As soon as Uriel had left Kirie's room he knew something was wrong. He could tell. Raphael was here. Uriel made his way towards the large parlor where he received his guests.
There sitting on the large couch was Raphael waiting for Uriel. He looked like he was having the time of his life sitting on Uriel's couch, eating his food, and realizing at a time like this.
Raphael never ceased to piss Uriel off, or at least make him roll his eyes every once in awhile. Raphael just laughed it off and said "So I thought I'd drop by as promised and tell you about the situation. As of right now you are teaching Bio since it was the only class left that the rest of us didn't want and we all figured since you like plants and all that jazz Bio would be easy. Since it's about plants...and stuff"
Uriel just stared at Raphael hoping he was pretending to be an idiot instead of having it come naturally to him. Maybe that was a bit much to hope for in Raphael's case. "Alright then I guess it�s time for us to leave then right Raphael?' answered Uriel waiting on Raphael.
"There's no rush actually we have a lot of time left before we have to leave I just thought that coming here would give me an excuse to send Barbs to go do my errands for me."
Uriel really did roll his eyes this time at his moronic friend and replied "You should try not to get on her nerves Raphael it might come back to haunt you."
"Or bite him in the ass." came a voice from behind Uriel. Kirie had appeared ready and waiting to leave. She had interrupted Raphael's train of thought.
Raphael couldn't help but sneak in the perverse comeback of "Oh sounds kinky. Uriel wherever did you get this cutie I think I love her already." stated Raphael getting up ready to circle Kirie.
"Raphael behave yourself or I might just have to have the ghouls chase you out of here." responded Uriel unamused.
"Okay I was kidding, just joking with ya Uri. Actually I have to be getting back now since Barbs is likely to 'bite me in the ass' if I don't get back in time. I'll see ya later Uri." replied Raphael getting up off the couch.
"Yes I'll see you soon Raphael." was Uriel's response.
Before leaving Raphael turned and joked "Oh and one last thing Uri, don't bring the scythe somehow I don't think the other teachers would find humor in it."
Of course with those last remarks Raphael took his leave having Kirie mumble "Idiot" under her breath as her and Uriel watch him leave. Uriel couldn't help but crack a smile at the joke and Kirie's response to it.
So there they were walking through what seemed like a bunch of dead bodies. Scratch that they were walking through dead bodies. It was Hades after all. Maybe they should have come earlier and gotten dressed after they finished with their business. Neither of them had thought of that. Now they would have to go to school smelling like rotting meat and smoke. The day was really looking up.
"Hey Tay what the fuck are we doing here?" asked Meir impatiently as they trekked through the unforgiving terrain.
Atayla just sighed and answered "I have shit to take care of, besides I promised to show you the guy I told you about."
Meir's face lit up and asked "Oh yeah him, he better be as hot as Hell Tay for the shit you're putting me through this morning."
Atayla let out another sigh as they came up on the river Styx and the giant tree, Yggdrasil. All Atayla had to say was "Don't worry it's worth it trust me if I went for depressed, well-read, tall guys I would have dragged him away and locked him up in my basemen to fuck when I'm bored."
Meir let out a snort and answered with sarcasm "What so you go for happy, retarded, midgets? Wow Tay even I think that's illegal and this is coming from me here."
Atayla stopped walking to turn around and give Meir her best pissed off look. After she was done giving Meir the evil eye she turned around and kept walking while answering with "No I go for insane, sadistic, sarcastic, boys with a fetish for necrophilia. The normal ones ya know how it is."
Meir just shook her head and laughed before replying "Yeah okay Tay good luck with that, tell me how a relationship with that new toy of yours go."
They walked on for a moment before Meir realized something "Hey wait a fucking second he's a Necrophiliac!? No fucking way! So fucking cool! He likes to get it on with dead bodies now that's pretty damn ballsy I like this guy Tay!"
Atayla almost smacked herself in the head over how retarded Meir was sometimes and answered "It was a joke Meir, but you keep thinking whatever makes you happy." with a sigh Atayla kept walking.
"Are we there yet?!" nagged Meir from behind her.
"Yeah I guess we'll be there soon I mean how far away from the big tree can it b...-" was what Atayla got out to reply to Meir before a voice yelled out to her.
"HOLY SHIT! IT'S YOU!!!!" shouted the blonde angel that appeared in front of them.
It would seem Raphael was on his way out as they were on their way in. Atayla had one thought flash through her mind at the moment and it was 'We are so fucked'
"What are you doing here?! Who the Hell are you anyway!" shouted Raphael in shock. He had thought Atayla was part of his dream and not actually real, now the note he had found in his hand when he had woken up was starting to make sense.
Meir looked at Atayla questioningly before asking "Don't tell me he's the one you told me about he's not my fucking type at all Tay you have a shitty sense when it comes to picking out gu...-"
Meir was cut off by Atayla's hand over her mouth. "Well I didn't expect to see you so soon. I guess it can't be helped I'm here to see Uriel and about what is none of your business Raphael." responded Atayla.
"Why shouldn't it be? You seem to know a lot about what's going on while everyone else is clueless I'd say that you have a lot to hide girly." he replied with his normal condescending tone.
The image of the three of them standing there was an odd one. After all with Raphael, the tall blonde angel yelling at two girls dressed in school uniforms one with spiked out hair and the other with long ringlets, not to mention the backdrop was Yggdrasil. It was an odd sight. The only thing that rivaled it in oddity (or sheer stupidity) was the fact that Raphael didn't notice the uniforms were from where he was going to be teaching.
Maybe it was for the best. It made for a bigger surprise when they would see each other later.
"Trust me babe you'll find out soon enough but right now I'm not in the mood to beat around the fucking bush when I don't plan on telling you anything anyway." answered Atayla.
"You've got some fucking nerve Miss Atayla, that is your name right? I mean I don't care either way but I just think I have an idea of who you are and maybe I should tell you that despite what Heaven has gone through in the past it's got a whole new management. You shouldn't try to involve yourself where you don't belong. You might make more enemies than friends."
Of course not much in the way of hospitality Raphael walked right past them and continued on his way. "So now you just plan to leave?!" shouted Meir at his back.
Raphael threw them a wave from over his shoulder and called back "What else am I supposed to do? Serve tea? That's Uriel's thing not mine babycakes. See ya."
Meir looked over at Atayla and asked "Babycakes?"
Atayla laughed and answered "Don't worry that's just what he does to everyone with a nice pair of legs and nice ass."
Meir smiled and replied "You think I have great legs and a nice ass? Thanks Tay now I know why I love you so much."
With a smirk Atayla turned around and started to walk forward again. At this rate they would never get to school on time. They still had to go visit Uriel and it was turning out to be a Hell of a morning.
It didn't take long for the two of them to end up at what was more or less Uriel's front door. Atayla felt no need to knock and proceeded to walk in with out knocking. Of course actions like that lead to actions like running into people face first.
Meir let out a laugh as Atayla collided with Kirie head on leaving the both of them wincing. "Damnit! Haven't you ever heard of knocking it's rude to barge in without knocking first! Do you have any manners?!" shouted Kirie looking up at Atayla.
"Oh don't worry she does she just doesn't like to use them very often they would ruin her hard ass image if ya know what I mean." chimed in Meir earning herself a glare from Atayla and Kirie.
Atayla went back to looking at Kirie and answered "Well I think after getting you a body and your thoughts back into your head I would have earned the right to barge in unannounced, sorry if that inconveniences you."
Kirie couldn't find anything to say to that so she pouted instead and replied "I'll go find Master Uri for you."
Before leaving Atayla and Meir standing in the foyer she turned around and walked towards them again and stopped in front of Atayla. She bowed her head and mumbled out a "Thank you." before turning and walking off to find Uriel.
"Well that was interesting." stated Meir leaning against the door and playing with one of her spikes.
"Yeah I just seem to affect people wherever I go." spoke Atayla before a cough from behind them announced Uriel's arrival.
"You're here. Come with me and I'll show it to you Atayla." came out that smooth baritone voice that Meir seemed drawn to.
Meir and Atayla exchanged looks and Meir whispered in her ear " Tay I fucking love you!"
Atayla smiled and said out loud "I know you do sweety but right now I have business to attend to, you can go try to use you wily whoreish ways on Uri later, just not right now."
Meir's jaw dropped and she smacked Atayla on the back of the head while Uriel looked away embarrassed. Meir had a similar reaction to Atayla's loud mouth.
"Excuse me, but me and Kirie have things to do and I can't just stand here and wait if you please Miss Atayla." with that Uriel left the room and went towards the direction of the downward stairs expecting Atayla to follow.
She did leaving Meir to mumble "Dipshit" as Atayla left. Atayla managed to flip Meir off on her way down the stairs as a response.
It didn't take long to get to the workshop and well when they got there Atayla's jaw dropped. It was perfect. Perhaps a little more grown up than she would have expected but it was gorgeous nonetheless. On the table covered up to her chest with a sheet was the Zeal's to be body.
Well more or less it was a teenage body of what she would have looked like. All in all Atayla was astounded at how fast and well Uriel worked.
"Holy shit!" was all she could say at the moment.
Uriel looked worried for a moment that what she had said meant she didn�t' like it but after a moment or two it became obvious it was quite the opposite.
"It's perfect. Thank you Uriel you did an amazing job. I should have another body for you to use in about a day or so I hope that's okay with you." replied Atayla to Uriel's reaction.
"Yes that's fine. It would seem that you are going to be in Assiah as well. That is a surprise." he remarked looking at her uniform noticing it was the same one Kirie was wearing, at least well they looked similar considering what Atayla had done to it.
"What are yo..-ohh crap the outfit. Yeah I guess you caught that huh? Well you're more perspective than Raphael at least." answered Atayla with a smirk.
Uriel let a frown cross his features before asking "What exactly are you doing Miss Atayla?"
Atayla let out a sigh and choose to be a smart ass and say "Going to school? Okay no scratch that idea. I'm just keeping an eye on naughty angels like you and all the rest to make sure you aren't doing any silly things down in Assiah. I am working for Hell Uriel I have to actually do my job sometimes."
"I see" he remarked calmly eyeing her suspiciously.
"I see? That's all you have to say. Well then I guess that's all there is to say right? I hope so. I don't feel like going into details about what I'm 'supposed' to be doing because it's none of your business just like what all you angels are doing in Assiah is none of my business." she stated just as calm as him.
"That is to be expected." he replied.
"Yeah so that's it for now Uri Uri Head. Right now the only thing I can really tell you is watch out for Meir she seems to like you already and with the way things seem to be going, you two will be seeing a lot of each other and Meir gets a little frisky at times so consider this a warning." commented Atayla walking towards the stairs.
Uriel thought about what Atayla had just said before realizing what she meant and answering with an uncharacteristic "Ohhh, Oh alright I understand. Thank you for the ahh...-warning"
Atayla waved over her shoulder and threw back a "No prob Mr. Uri Uri Head."
Uriel watched Atayla go up the stairs before smiling a little himself at the effect he had on Atayla's strange friend. He figured it was almost time to go, at least now he had something to think about on the long trip to Assiah. After all Meir was pretty damn nice herself if Uriel had anything to say about it.
Assiah
Now giving an insane person coffee isn't good. Giving Chaelly coffee was a whole new level of retarded. Through in glazed donuts and you better run for cover.
Vai and Chaelly managed to make it to Dunken' Donuts in one piece and get out the same way of course now that Chaelly was drinking coffee getting to school would be the main problem of the day.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE DONUTS!!!!!! NOW OFF TO STARBUCKS FOR MY VANILLA FRAPACHINNO!!!!" cried out Chaelly to whoever in the parking lot would listen.
Vai mentally slapped herself for giving Chaelly coffee. It was going to be a long day indeed. "Chaells you have coffee let's go we're going to be late if we don't."
Chaelly just pouted and ran towards the parked Hummer pulling on the door handle. "It won't open! Unlock the door!" shouted Chaelly back.
Vai pulled her keys out of her pocket and clicked the unlock button at the same time Chaelly lifted up the handle. They canceled each other out. "It's locked, it's lock, it's lock Vai!" shouted out Chaelly again.
"Let go oh the damn handle Chaelly!!!" yelled Yashe coming up behind her.
"Okay, okay, okay, don't yell in my ear I have enough voices to deal with Vai." pouted Chaelly moving away from the door.
Vai went to push the unlock button again only to have Chaelly lift up the door handle on the other side of the car. "Oh dear god Chaelly! Let go of the mother fucking handle!" screamed Vai getting fed up.
"What okay now do it sorry Vai. I thought it was only that door. Sorry." called Chaelly from the other side of the vehicle.
Vai sighed and pressed the button again. Chaelly did it again. Vai lost it. "OH MY FUCKIN GOD CHAELLY STOP WITH THE DAMN DOOR NOW I WANT TO GET OUT OF THE DAMN PARKING LOT SOMETIME TODAY!!!!!"
Chaelly's jaw went slack for a second and replied "Ummmm Vai your the one with your hand on the handle this time. Silly head."
Vai looked down at her hand and saw that she was holding up the handle this time. This was going to be a very very very long day now that Vai thought about it. Vai hit the button one last time and the familiar click of the door unlocking sounded and Vai said "Ok Chaells get in and let's go already."
"I'm already in the car dumb dumb head." came Chaelly's voice from Vai's left.
Chaelly was hanging out the back window. Vai just stared at her wondering how she got into the car in the first place. "Chaelly how did you do that?"
Chaelly looked back at Vai like she was crazy and answered "Ummm the roof Vai. Sometimes I really wonder about you Vai. Are you feeling okay?"
Vai just shook her head and ran a hand through her blonde hair and replied "Yeah I'm fine let's go now." Vai climbed into the driver�s seat while Chaelly climbed over the seats into the passenger seat next to Vai and smiled.
The two of them drove off before Chaelly started to look around for something distracting Vai from the road. Coffee in hand Chaelly climbed into the back seat and looked around on the floor frantically.
Vai looked in her rearview mirror at the disturbed girl and asked "What are doing Chaelly?! Get your scrawny ass back up in the seat! I'm driving here!"
Chaelly looked up angrily and replied "Vai where are the donuts?! YOU LEFT THE DONUTS!!!!!! YOU IDIOT!!!! TURN AROUND NOW!!!" Chaelly screamed.
"Uh-uhh no fucking way you should have grabbed the donuts when we left you moron it's not my fault!" yelled Vai back.
"Vai I'm warning you turn around now or I'll do it!" screamed Chaelly.
"Chaelly calm done I'll buy you a donut somewhere else okay? Just calm down." answered Vai.
"Vai I'm serious I'll open the door and jump out right now if you don't turn around now!" ranted Chaelly.
Vai laughed and replied "Go ahead and try Chaells I fucking dare you." joked Vai.
Chaelly let out a howl as she went to open the door only to have herself thrown back across the back seat as Vai jerked the steering wheel violently. "Wanna try that again Chaells?" asked Vai with a smirked on her face.
"You know I will Vai. Don't mess with the donuts, bitch!" taunted Chaelly back. She reached behind her for the door handle. Within seconds she was slammed forward into the back of the passenger seat due to Vai stopping short at a red light.
"Chaelly I don't want you to get hurt here so just put on your seatbelt and calm down and I'll stop at Starbucks." replied Vai to her friend�s antics.
"No fucking chance Vai." replied Chaelly aggravated. "Okay then..." replied Vai.
Chaelly saw her chance and reached for the handle just as Vai was distracted she had her hand on it and was ready to pull it open and pull she did. But when nothing happened she yelled like a 5 year old. Vai smiled from the front seat. God bless child locks.
Vai was wallowing in her smart victory over Chaelly when she felt a burst of cold air fill the car. That sneaky little witch had opened the window! Vai had forgotten to lock the windows too.
Without a moment�s warning Vai caught a glimpse of neon fly out the window. Vai hit herself in the head and stomped on the brakes and turned the car around. She pulled off on the side of the road, which thankfully was a back road that didn't have much traffic.
She unbuckled her seat belt and climbed out of the car. Surprisingly she couldn't she Chaelly. 'Oh great now she's hiding from me.' Vai sighed and cursed under her breath. Before she knew what happened she saw a flash of neon out of the corner of her eye. Then she heard the car door slam.
"Oh shit I'm fucked" cursed Vai as she ran back to the car running up to the driver's window. Chaelly looked back at her and stuck out her tongue at her and made faces.
"Chaelly this isn't funny let me in!" yelled Vai at her through the window.
"No chance Vai!" laughed Chaelly back.
Vai was worried for a moment that Chaelly was going to leave her before she remembered that Chaelly couldn't drive a stick shift. That was a wonderful thing to think of now but it didn't help her get back into the car.
"You�re lucky I don't know how to drive this Vai, or know how to get back to Dunken' Donuts or I'd be leaving your ass on the side of the road right about now." stated Chaelly from inside the car.
"You're an asshole Chaelly." huffed Vai.
"Well only my angry side is Vai now this is my fun side. I�m not an asshole now I'm just a jerk. This is your personality coming through now." answered Chaelly laughing again.
"More like Meir if you ask Me." stated Vai sighing.
"Nope this is what you act like Vai get over it. Now excuse me while I take a dance break." said Chaelly turning the key in the slot and turning on the radio to the dance station which just had to have "Sexyback" playing. Chaelly started dancing and bouncing in the car to annoy Vai.
Vai waited until Chaelly was done dancing and asked "Are you done now Chaelly? Let me in now please I promise I'll take you or donuts and coffee now I swear okay now let me in."
Chaelly pouted and said "Okay fine but remember you promised." with that Chaelly hopped over to the passenger seat and pressed the unlock button.
Just as Vai pulled the handle Chaelly pressed the lock button again and laughed. Vai was fuming at the point. "CHAELLY LET ME IN GOD DAMNIT STOP BEING A LITTLE FUCKFACE AND LET ME IN!!!!" screamed Vai.
"Well I would but you keep touching the handle idiot." laughed Chaelly.
Vai yelled loud enough to make Chaelly laugh even harder and unroll the window. Chaelly threw something out at Vai and said "Go buy me some donuts and then you can come into the car."
Chaelly had thrown Vai her wallet. Vai kicked the car with a loud yell and then took off toward Dunken' Donuts to go buy Chaelly her glazed minions of evil. Vai thought to herself once again that this was going to be a very very very long day indeed. Dance music from the car signaled Vai's departure to go buy donuts with Chaelly dancing and bopping around inside the car.
Atayla was freezing her ass off waiting for Belial to show up on top of the roof. She was sitting on top of the building across from the school and at the present time it was not a good idea to be wearing a skirt and tank top. Of course this is Atayla were talking about here so practicality was not the order of the day.
She just sat there iPod in hand going through song after song. Atayla was more than happy that Meir had gotten her one of these things along with a laptop to fuck around on and keep her occupied for the most part now that they were in Assiah.
Still though she was getting fed up waiting for Hatter and it was cold she was about to leave when she felt someone sit down next to her and say "Did I keep you waiting long?"
Atayla sneered and answered "Not really, my tits just froze off but nothing major clown face."
Belial let out a laugh before replying "Well there wasn't much to freeze off in the first place so I guess your fine for the time being."
Atayla looked over at Belial and thought about all the things she could do to piss Hatter off. One of them included throwing the damn clown off the fucking roof but that just meant she would have to stay on the roof longer and wait for Belial to climb back up and she was cold and pissed off with being up there for 5 minutes let alone the time Hatter would take to come back up.
"At least I have more of a chest than you Belial." she smirked.
"Point taken." stated the clown looking down at Atayla's chest.
Truth be told Atayla had a normal chest maybe a little small but then again she was thin so big boobs would look out of place on her. But by no means was she flat like the Hatter.
Atayla's eyed widen as Belial grabbed one of her tits and squeezed remarking "Ah well there not the best I've seen or felt but they're not the worst either."
She scowled and gave Belial a quick slap across the face. The clowns face was left with a hand print in the white paint and all she did was grin that Cheshire cat toothy smile.
"Well that was a little uncalled for." Belial said in response to the slap.
"You groped me clown I'd say you deserved it, but don't lie to yourself you enjoyed it. The grope and the slap." answered Atayla.
"Perhaps. I suppose I should tell you I'll be around if you need me. I won't be hard to find so if there are any problems just come to me and we'll deal with them as fast as we can. As for the angels well, just watch them and deal with what they do accordingly. I leave it up to you dear Savior." said Belial moving right along into the subject matter that actually mattered.
Atayla gave the Hatter a look before answering and replied "Well I just want to know the plans concerning Heaven at this point. I have a lot of angels to deal with Hatter and none of them felt the need to be here in Assiah with their little lap dogs. Until we have to hack up some of the little angel fucks I'm just bidding my time here playing look out."
"Well that's all you need to do Atayla. For now at least. Just don't get into any trouble that you won't be able to deal with. I don't feel like cleaning up one of your messes." replied Belial looking off into the distance.
"Don't worry I don't plan on It." on that note Atayla got up and walked towards the stairway door that would lead to the bottom of the building.
Just as Atayla was leaving Belial called out to her saying "Wouldn't it be quicker to jump my dear?"
Atayla laughed a little and answered "I don't want my skirt to fly up and give you a free show Hatter."
Hatter got a laugh out of that just as the slam of the heavy metal door signaled Atayla's exit. Hatter's hand immediately went to her face and felt the spot where Atayla had slapped her and said "I really did enjoy that a little too much. Hahahahahahaha if you don't watch out I might have to make you my new plaything Savior."
All that signaled Belial's leave was her ringing laughter.
Finally she had her donuts. She had worked hard for those damn donuts. On the way to school with Vai driving once again she had eaten 5 and she was on her last one. She and Vai had each gotten 6 so yeah Chaelly was coming off her sugar high. Vai had went off to scope out the school and left Chaelly to walk around on her own for the time being. Hopefully Meir and Atayla would show up sooner or later.
At the moment Chaelly was wandering the halls of the large school. She still had an hour before any of the students started to arrive. She figured it probably wasn't allowed for students to roam the halls this early in the morning but she could always use the excuse that she was a new student, which she was of course.
Vai had to get them here early anyway so she could hand in all the necessary papers for her, Chaelly, Meir, and Atayla to all the right people. Chaelly and Meir had gone to a school before this to pass time since they were going to be in Assiah indefinitely. They had always gone to schools and jobs since they couldn't go back to Heaven, not after the incidents that happened a long time ago.
Vai was always working for some online company to make a shitload of cash. She normally did stuff that paid a lot of money like people's taxes and stocks. Vai was always good at stuff like that. Even if they didn't have money Chaelly herself could hack bank accounts for fast money and their troubles would be solved.
Chaelly was the one that bought them their fake pasts and papers form certain sources in Assiah. Vai handled money. Meir handled the security details and made sure no one came looking for them, from Heaven or anywhere else they might come from. Atayla of course was the one that used the money to get houses, apartments, cars, and most of the time she was the one that got them jobs, she was the one with the most sources, she was the leader of the group.
It was bizarre how they meet. But it was even more bizarre why they stayed together. They had common goals and needs they stuck together through the good and the bad, the bullshit and extreme circumstances. All these thoughts went through Chaelly's head as she climbed up the stairwell to the second floor of the huge school.
She was still in the wing of all the classrooms, she hadn't even moved over to the side of the building with the gym, theatre, black box, and art and music rooms. She was tired. Even with the way she ate donuts and sugar by the pound she remained the frailest of all four of the friends. Chaelly had asked Meir one night why this was and she got the response 'You have about 200 different metabolisms running through your body due to all the different people in your head combined all that together and it's a surprise you haven't collapsed from exhaustion and fatigue yet.'
Quite the contrary Chaelly was always hyper from all the stuff she did and maybe it had something to do with all the personalities never letting her rest. That made the most sense in her mind. Still climbing up two flights of stairs was tiring even for her. Chaelly was almost to the top when she saw 3 figures at the top of the stairs.
Chaelly just saw the shadows at first and yelled up at them from the first landing "It's about time guys, it's nice that you all found each other and came looking for me."
She just stood there below the flight of stairs as the figures came closer to her. She realized that they weren't Vai, Meir, and Atayla. In fact they looked a lot different. The three teenage boys advanced down the stairs towards her. Chaelly back up and grip the strap of her heavy messenger bag.
"Well boys look what we got here. Looks like little kitty got lost here." said the tallest one of them.
"Oh what do you think we should do with the stray?" joked the bigger one to his right.
"She's kinda cute guys I may not want to give her up." came the last ones response.
Chaelly's gut did flip flops. Guys that look like a bunch of street punks aren't usually the most upstanding members of society. In fact with the way they looked at her their intensions were quite clear. The voices in Chaelly's head were screaming in anger, fear, and just sheer insanity telling her what to do.
'RUN! NO FIGHT! RUN NOW YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'LL DO RUN!!! LET'S KILL THEM ALL NOW I WANT TO SEE SOME BLOOD FOR ONCE!!!!' they screamed louder and louder in her head.
The bunks advanced on her finally reaching her. Chaelly jumped back as one of them reached for her. Instead they grabbed the strap of her bag and pulled. Chaelly slipped out of the grip of the bag and it went flying into the wall to her right. A loud crack could be heard as it hit the wall.
Chaelly's eyes went wide knowing that they little fuck had broken her Nintendo DS that was in her bag. She was pissed to say the least. She got the first hit in. It hit the fat one in the jaw and was followed by a kick to the stomach which made him fly back onto the stairs. His two buddies watched him fall back as the leader remarked as the one guys coughed out blood and a tooth "Kitty�s got claws this'll be fun"
"Yeah I got claws alright fucker let's play bitch!" yelled Chaelly launching her self at the leader slamming her elbow into his throat. A trick she saw Meir and Vai do on separate occasions. The sadistic voice in her head was cheering and laughing in happiness as she heard the crack.
However when the leader managed to grab a fistful of hair and yank on it Chaelly screamed. She kicked out in an unsuccessful attempt to get away. The leader sneered and motioned to the one Chaelly had hit in the mouth and asked "You wanna hit the bitch first?"
"You bet your ass I do man I get her first!" the fat one came towards her brandishing a knife. He got close enough to grip her jacket but that was it before an object came flying towards him.
Chaelly watched it hit him in the back of the head, hard. He went sprawling to the right and didn�t get up. It was a textbook that hit him in the back of the head, a big one. From the looks of it the figure at the top of the stairs had another one too. Whoever they were they were pissed.
"Hands off boys unless you want to get castrated and have your dicks shoved down your throats. Picking on a poor little kitty ain't nice boys."
The one holding her let Chaelly go and she flew to the left away from them as the figure walked down the stairs calmly. The leader charged them. The figure gripped the railing and jumped up as the leader ran up the stairs and slammed them in the face with a kick to the head.
"Must you always get into shit like this Chaells?" asked Atayla with a smirk.
Chaelly just stuck out her tongue and answered "Well I just loved getting saved by you Tay."
Atayla merely shrugged and yanked the leader up by his shirt and dragged him down the stairs and screamed at him "You touched her hair! Only I can do that! It's mine whore! Now it smells like your filth! Worthless scum rapist I really should cut you open and watch you bleed to death, you know that!"
She threw him away from her into the wall and directed her attention to the other one trying to get away slowly. The fat one was out cold from the textbook to the head. This one Atayla kicked down the stairs. He went rolling down into a heap at the bottom. She was worried she broke his neck and then he moved so it calmed her fears enough to start yelling again.
"Get up whore I'm not done with you yet, I'll tell you when playtime is over bitch." she yelled over her shoulder at the leader. She left the one at the bottom of the stairs for a moment to go over to the leader and say "Move and I'll cut off your fingers one by fucking one got that?"
He nodded and Atayla went down the stairs to the one there. He tried to get up and Atayla slammed her heel into the middle of his back. She felt like breaking it so she slammed her foot down again satisfied with the crack it made. He wouldn't be able to use his legs again. This was starting to get fun.
She walked back up the stairs and bent down to the leader's level and said "Pick them up and get them out of my fucking sight before I really do castrate all of you for kicks."
Atayla watched him scurry and wake up his drowsy friend that had been hit with the text book. Together him and his friend picked up the one at the bottom of the stairs and scurried off like little rabbits out of the school or wherever the fuck they went, to Atayla it didn't really matter.
Looking up at the top of the stairs there was Vai and Chaelly looking down at her. Chaelly just smiled and Vai glared saying only "You've got blood on you cheek Tay."
Atayla wiped it away hastily and answered "Enjoy the show Vai?"
"You didn't have to use so much force Tay you should know better." scolded Vai.
"Oh come on don't give me that shit you know what they were planning to do don't be a fucking bitch I'm not in the mood for it Vai." responded Atayla.
"I didn't plan on it. Still it's good to have you around otherwise..." Vai trailed off looking over at Chaelly.
"Or else Chaelly would have actually killed someone, I know that, you know it, and she knows it. Right Chaelly?" asked Atayla moving her glance to Chaelly who was hanging upside down on the banister above her.
"I can't control it or help it. I absorbed one to many bad angels it's not my fault sorry guys." she replied.
Atayla and Vai just smiled and laughed a little. Chaelly just hung there, her ultraviolet hair hanging under hair as she just giggled a little too her bright aqua eyes shining more than usual.
Atayla noticed the shorts Chaelly had on underneath her skirt and frowned asking the question "Chaelly aren't those mine?!"
Chaelly looked up at the shorts and gave a nervous laugh and replied "Oh um...no."
Vai just laughed even more and answered for her "She stole them from your room the last time you were here Tay."
"I did not I found them in her room and 'borrowed' them you liar." whined Chaelly unhooking her legs from the banister and falling down to the stairs. She turned backwards again and landed on the stairs.
Atayla looked at her as she turned around and smiled at her the blood rushing away from her head. "Damn I wish I could do that!" commented Atayla at Chaelly's display of agility.
"Showoff." came Vai's snide remark from up on the stairs followed by a laugh as Vai leaned on the railing looking down at them.
"If you really want them Tay I'll take them off." offered Chaelly hobbling to get them off while nearly falling down the stairs from the lightheadedness due to the blood rush from her head to her body.
Atayla moved fast to steady the smaller girl and held her shoulders saying "No, no it�s okay keep them I have other cooler sets of shorts for you to steal eventually."
That earned Atayla a laugh from Chaelly. Atayla let Chaelly go and walked over to Chaelly's bag that had been thrown against the wall. She handed it to Chaelly.
"They broke my DS Tay. Maybe you should have killed them." Chaelly remarked opening her bag and pulling out the broken Nintendo DS. Chaelly's face held a sneer that was quite the sight since she was normally her sweet self, unless the things in her head were taking over.
"But Vai doesn't need anymore incidents to deal with like the last time Tay went crazy Chaells." came the voice of Meir from below them on the stairs.
"Hey Meir nice to see you sorry I ditched you before but I had to deal with some stuff." replied Tay.
"Don't worry about it I was loitering outside for awhile and took care of what you didn't Tay." she answered smirking at them.
Vai was standing there watching the exchange and decided to finally cut in and say "Guys come on it's time we go and actually get ready, everyone's going to be getting here soon."
Meir and Atayla exchanged glances knowing full well what Meir had done to the 3 guys. She always knew when Tay left business unfinished. She always handled the aftermath. That was one of the reason Atayla held such respect for Meir and vice versa.
"Yeas let's go guys I don't feel like staying here it makes me angry." chimed in Chaelly who skipped down the stairs past them. "Well we can't let her go alone now can we." laughed Vai from above them she slid the banister down to them and took off after Chaelly while Meir and Atayla exchanged looks that said everything.
"And so the chaos begins." remarked Atayla walking side by side with Meir as Chaelly and Vai took off ahead of them.
"It started the moment you came back Tay." answered Meir smirking right back at her.
A/N: I know I said I'd get up to the actual school part but the chapter was getting way too long so I decided to have this one chapter spilt into two. I'll have the next one up by March 20, 2007. Hope you guys like it and please please please review because it means a lot to me thanks. I'm going to bed now because it's 2/24/07 at 4:03am and I have to go out tomorrow and do lots of fun stuff and I'm dead fucking tired so yeah thanks to all my fans I love you I'm too tired to right personal messages to reviewers that reviewed right now so yeah sorry bout that but I worked my ass off and I deserve to sleep right now. If there are any mistakes grammer wise in this I'm sorry but I can't read through it all and pick out every little thing I'll fall asleep and drool on myself if I try so goodnight/morning to all of you I'm going to go pass out now.
