An Awakened Love
From here on out I will be using ancient languages and will denote them with ^ ^ followed by the translation in { }. I will tell you what the language is in either the same sentance or the following sentance.
The following night Rei's laying awake on her futon starring up at the ceiling of her room. She recalls the events of the picnic that afternoon. Their memories of Chronos had fully awaken the previous night while they all slept and they had talked about them at length
They also talked about if they should trust him or not. That had been interesting. Most of them had agreed that he could be trusted but Lita, Mina and Amara weren't so sure. Even Serena seemed to have her doubts. In the end it had been decided that they would at least give him a chance.

After the picnic she and Serena returned to the Shrine and talked for awhile. It turns out that Serena did have her doubts but they weren't about him. They had been about them, more specifically Rei's feelings for her. Rei had assured Serena that she still loved her and that her feelings, past or present, for him hadn't and wouldn't change how she felt about her.
"Besides meatball head," Rei said playfully. "He knew about us on the moon and he was fine with it." She laughed as she remembered something. "Remember that time Mina almost caught us in your room?"
Serena thought for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter herself. "God I had completely forgotten about that. He covered for us by asking her about her date with Kunzite that night."
"He was still grumbling about it a week later." Rei laughed.
Serena gave her a foolish grin. "I'm sorry I was jealous Rei I should've known better. Can you forgive me?"
Rei smiled at her. "There's nothing to forgive Serena." She giggled softly. "Guess now you know how I felt when you and Darien would go out."
Serena gave her look of mock pain. "I... I..."
Rei busted out laughing again. "Was never good at pretending to be insulted." After that the young lovers fell into each other's arms, giving themselves over to passion.

Rei's mind is still replaying their last session together in her mind when a knock at the door intrudes upon her thoughts. God this is annoying She gets up and answers the door and is surprised to find Michael standing there.
Having for gone the formal attire for the afternoon he's dressed in a deep maroon T-shirt with a pair of fade blue jeans and brown work boots. He wears his hair down today and it is now flowing behind him in the gentle evening breeze. "May I come in Firestar?"
Rei nods as she moves aside to allow him entrance. God and I thought he look good last night. She does her best not to blush as she closes the door behind him. Okay Rei, get a grip on yourself. He's like a thousand years too old for you. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you Firestar," he says with a warm still. "More accurately I came to see what you remember about us."
Rei can feel herself begin to blush as she remembers what they had and what she'd like to have again. "I remember everything," she says seductively as she walks slowly towards him. Standing on her tip toes she whispers in his her, "Meeko ^Ge' 'Kir'tor^ {My Knight}"
He smiles to himself as she says his old nickname in Martian. "I've missed you so much Firestar." He gently wraps his arms around her, holding her in a warm embrace. She returns the hug and allows herself to melt against his chest.
Holding her gently against him he can smell an all too familiar scent in the air. And although he hasn't smelled it in over a thousand years he knows instantly what it is. They're together again. "Firestar I have to know..."
She knows what he's about to ask and pulls back enough to look up at him without breaking away. "Yes, Serena and I are lovers." She tells him. "But nothing has changed between us." She rests her head against his chest again. "She still has Darien and now I've got you again." She holds him as tightly as she can. "I won't give her up but I won't let you go either."
He kisses the top of her raven hair as he whispers softly to her. "I'm not going anywhere Firestar. I accepted your relationship with her along time ago and like then I won't come between you two so long as I can still call you my love."
She leans up and kisses him softly. "Always my love, always." She knows that theirs is an odd relationship that many will never understand, even the other Scouts. But they've never questioned the feelings they have for each other nor their relationship with the others involved.
She and Serena loved each other as much as they loved the men in their lives.
Serena was destined to marry Darien and rule over Crystal Tokyo, while she and Chronos would never be able to marry. Still they could love each other and would always be together and that was all they really needed. Chronos never denied her love for Serena and was never threatened by their relationship. She was also never threatened by Serena's love for Darien or their relationship. Okay so maybe I was at first but I've made my peace with it.
They finally break their embrace and sit down on her bed. He kicks his boots off and scoots back so he's sitting against the wall with his legs stretched out before him. Rei giggles as she climbs onto the bed and leans against him. He wraps his arms around her again as she snuggles into his chest.
"I seem to remember this being how we got in trouble last time." She giggles as she wraps her arms around his.
He chuckles at her comment. "As I recall that one was your fault. I told you we were going to be late for the meeting."
She turns slightly to look at him as she sticks her tongue out at him. "You could have locked the door," She teases.
"No I couldn't," he answers with a smile. "You never let me out of bed long enough." He kisses her lips softly. "I have always loved you Firestar."
she smiles as she returns his kiss. She didn't know this man even existed until last night but her heart tells her that she loves him more then anyone else, even more then Serena in some ways. "I love you too, My Knight."
