Chapter 4

A/N: This is just to let everyone know I�m only working on the Barbelo chapters my co-author is doing the Lilith chapters.

Barbelo looked around the city she had been sent to. The buildings were roughly shaped but sturdy looking. She couldn�t make out too much detail due to the fact that it was night.

(This world seems even more pleasant when you're actually here. When Lilith is promoted, I must bring her here), she thought as she continued to explore the city.

As Barbelo walked into a small alleyway between two buildings, she saw several men standing at the end.

�Hello,� she greeted them politely.

�Bye-bye,� she said in a cheerful tone, looking at the dried out husk of the people that she�d fed on the night before. She then walked through the portal.

Barbelo found herself standing back in the room that had belonged to Asuna. The door had been put back into place. Deciding to save some time, she stripped naked. Then she spread out her awareness until she found the two that she was looking for: Yue and Nodoka. She could sense them inside of the library. There weren�t very many people out, and they rushed by Barbelo in a hurry to take care of their own matters.

Her body had a cool shimmering appearance, almost like water. Upon closer inspection, Barbelo saw that she no longer had any internal organs, but still retained all of her external features.
