“Ok.... night.” Matts said more to himself and left the kitchen heading back upstairs. ‘I won’t see Mello while L’s here.’ Matt frowned at the thought and walking down the corridor to his own bedroom.
After he entered his room Matt stripped to his boxers before collapsing onto the bed. ‘Mello has been distant for just over a week now, Maybe he’ll be himself after L leaves in a few days.’ Random thoughts passed through his head before falling asleep.

“Tomorrow morning after breakfast.” L replied accepting the drink that Watari had just brought over.
“Matt here you go eat up.” Watari said, Matt looked up as he placed a plate and cup in front of him. “Cup of tea and a bacon sandwich.” Matt nodded his thanks to Watari looking to Mello and L, They were talking about something or another Matt chose to ignore them and blanked out of the conversation.
He didn’t notice the worried look he was receiving off Near.

Matt looked to Near “I’m fine Near don’t worry about me.” Matt smiled to near as he replied, Then looked to L and Mello frowning.
“Do you have to go tomorrow, i’ve had fun with you here, helping you out.” Mello asked biting into his chocolate bar.
“I enjoyed spending time with you to Mello, And everyone else.” He said ruffling Nears hair “But i have work to attend to.” L replied placing his free hand on Mello’s shoulder.
Matt growled excusing himself from the table and walking out of the dining room. ‘Stupid Sherlock, What does Mello see in him Sherlock will end up hurting him.’ Matt thought walking back to his room.

(Back In The Dining Room.)

“I wonder what is wrong with Matt-kun.” L thought out loud to himself.
“Nothing is wrong with him he’ll be going up to play computer games in his room.” Mello said
Near looked up from them to the door Matt had just left through ‘Matt-kun is not himself.’ Near thought to himself.

The rest of the day Matt spent it playing games in his room not coming down for lunch or dinner.
Mello spent the whole day in L’s room helping L with various things before going to sleep in L’s bed while he went to talk to Near.

There was a knock at the door. Near looked up to see L entering his room.
“Good evening Near-kun.” L said “And sorry it’s later then expected.”

“It’s getting late maybe Near should try sleep.” Near said glancing to the clock
“Ahh of course.” L pulled Near into a loose hug. “I promise, i’ll spend more time with you next time ok.”
