Final chapter: The talk

(AN: Hi! Sorry for not updating for two weeks. I was worried about my mother. She had an asthma attack two weeks ago and had to go to the hospital. She ended up fine but got new meds and was told to not work for two weeks. So i have been trying to write without her knowing. Lol. I dont want her to know because i dont think she will approve. So here is the final chapter. Enjoy!)

I watched him run out of the room and the house. I was in shock because he would get that mad. I mean I should have been the one who ran away from him because he had sex with Nakao in Nobu's bed, but no! I stayed with him when he got slapped. Now i feel betrayed because he ran from me. I ploped down on the desk and stared out the window. The clouds were forming in the sky, covering the sun. Soon there would be a storm and I forgot my unbrella. I sighed and turned around when i noticed Nobu standing in the room. I tried to smile but I just felt like crying. Nobu came up to me and held me as i cried. I rubbed my nose on my shirt and i looked down to her.

"Why are you being nice to me? I mean our boyfriends just had drunken sex with eachother. You should be hatting me too." I cried

"I would never be mad at you Risa. I forgave Nakao when we realized that it was the sake that did it and he swore up and down that he has no interest in Otani. I was going to go find Otani and demand him to come appologize, but when i passed, i saw you crying. You come first Risa. Now tell me what happened?" Asks Nobu

"Well they werent the only ones to get into trouble. I woke up in Haruka's bed. I slept with Haruka." I said as i cried even harder

Nobu rubbed my back and rocked me back and forth like my mom used to do. I cried harder and harder till i got hicups. Nobu laughed at me and then went and got me some water to drink. Once i calmed down, I put the cup down and stared at the floor. Nobu waited a minute before smacking me in the back of the head. I looked up and glared at her.

"What the fuck was that for Nobu?"

"That was for not running after Otani once you calmed down."

"Its not like i want to Nobu, its just that i know from that look he gave me that he doesnt want to see me. Maybe i should just go home and give him time to cool-"

My phone goes off. I look at Nobu before picking it up and gasping. Otani was calling me. I started to shake as i opened my phone and pushed the talk button.

"YYess Otani?"

"Hey Risa. Can you me under the willow tree? We need to talk."

"Um sure. Ill be there in a couple of minutes. Bye"

Otani hung up before i said goodbye. I looked at Nobu and started to cry again. She shook her head and came to give me another hug.

"Oh Risa. It will be fine."

Otani hung up the phone when he heard Risa say Bye. As soon as he ran out of Nobu's house, he ran to the willow tree and started to cry. He didnt want no one to see him cry like a little girl. He was deeply hurt that his Girlfriend would sleep with Haruka. Even if they were all drunk. It still didnt matter. He was hurt. But he didnt know what to do about it. Sure he did love Risa, but this was like a knife in his heart. Sure he has hurt Risa alot over the years, but he wasnt sure if this would be one would be like the rest, they just fight a little bit and get over it. He shook his head and watched as others in the park passed the willow. This was the perfect place to be because no one could see who was in the willow, but the ppl in the willow could see clearly out. He slumps and scratches his head.

'Man what am i going to do? I love her but i cant forget what she did. Is this a sign that we were really never meant to be?'

Otani heard a rumble of thunder and jumped. Soon it started to rain and he picked up his phone to call Risa to tell her to stay where she was until the rain suddenly stopped, when the willow branches parted and in came a soaking wet Risa. They met eachothers eyes before looking down. Risa plopped down on ground before him. Otani stood still.

"Im sorry Otani. I guess that is all i can say because i dont know what else to say." Said Risa

Otani looks up and notices that Risa was shaking and crying. He wanted to reach out and hug her, but in his heart he didnt want to. Risa sniffed and cried even harder. Otani watched and waited for Risa to stop shaking before he started talking. Once she stopped, he cleared his throat.

"I dont know if i can accept that Risa. Sure it was the sake that made us all do what happend, but i dont think it was just the Sake. I think that deep down you wanted to sleep with him and your excuse was that you drank too much."

Risa raised her head and slapped Otani. While Otani rubbed his cheek, Risa glared at him.

"I never had a romantic thought about Haruka! I only like him as a friend and I know he likes me but have you ever seen me go out with him or humor him? No! I only love you and i really wanted you to be my first! So now that it wont happen, you want nothing to do with me? Well thats fine! I knew this was to good to be true. Good bye Otani." Said Risa as she got up and ran out of the willow into the rain.

Otani stared at her leaving form before putting his head in his head and groaning.

'Oh gods i fucked up. Now what do I do?' Thought Otani sadly

Risa ran as fast as she could. She needed to get away and think. She knew Otani was not gonna forgive her, but what he said really hurt deep down. She ran right into a bench and fell forward. She landed on her face in the mud and just laid there and cried. No one was around to bother her and she liked it that way. She cried harder. Suddenly she felt a hand on her head and looked up to see Suzuki and Chiharu staring down at her from there umbrellas. Risa lifted herself up and nodded to them. Chiharu gave Risa her umbrella and they walked to the local coffee shop. The lady who showed them to a table, glared at Risa before giving them their menus and turing to other customers. Risa rubbed her arms and sniffed as she looked at them. Chiharu smiles.

"Whats wrong Risa? Ive never seen you this down?" Asked Chiharu

"Its nothing. Really. I, I should be going" Said Risa as she gets up

Shuzuki stands up and puts his hands on her shoulder and slowly pushes her back down into the chair. Risa stared at him wide eyes before turing to Chiharu. Chiharu nodded to Suzuki before smiling once again to Risa.

"come on Risa. I know you better than that. Does it have something to do with the party we had last night?"

Risa nods. The waitress comes and they all order spiced pumpkin pie coffee. Once the lady leaves Risa slumps.

"I dont know what to do Chiharu. I didnt mean for it to happen but it did and now...."

"What exactly happened Risa? Did Otani hurt you?" Asks Suzuki

"No..no he didnt but it is i who hurt him."

"What do you mean? Care to explaine Risa."

"Well um...I cant say it outloud Chiharu. Come here and let me whispear in your ear."

Chiharu scoot closer and Risa whispeared in her ear. Her eyes got wide and she gasped. Suzuki looked at her and then Risa with a look of what the hell did you say. Chiharu scooted closer to him and told him. His eyes got wide and Risa looked down and blushed. Chiharu was gonna say something when the waitress came with their drinks. They all said thanks and took a sip before looking at Risa. Risa fidgetted in her seat. Chiharu cleared her throat.

"So what are you going to do?"

"I dont know. Otani is mad at me. What do you think i should do? Im out of ideas on how to keep Otani loving me."

"I dont know what to tell you but you need to come up with something fast. Because i just saw Otani running past us and i think he was saying your name." Said Suzuki

Risa gasped, nodded to them and ran out of the coffee shop and ran the way Otani did. Chiharu and Suzuki took another sip of their coffee and sighed.

"I hope everything turns out for the best." They both said

Otani knew he had to find Risa. He knew he was being an ass but he, deep down, didnt want to break up with Risa. So he ran in the direction that she ran, calling her name. He didnt care that the people with umbrellas were all staring and shaking their heads at him but he need to find Risa. He stopped by a bench close to the train station to catch his breath. He looks around and groans.

'Risa where are you? I want to make this work!'

Otani caught his breath and was about to run to the left when he heard his voice being called. He turned and saw Risa running to him. Despite the rain falling, he could see that she was crying. Risa caught up to him and lowered her head to catch her breath. Otani just sat and stared. Risa looked up into his eyes hopping this wasnt a dream. Otani moved over and Risa took a seat. They sat there for a while, in the rain, not talking. Neither knew what to say. The last person got on the train and they were alone. By this time, the rain has stopped and the sun was once again coming out. They just sat there. Risa was worried that they were gonna break up, and Otani didnt know what to say period. Finally Otani became the bigger man and turned to Risa. Risa had her head down. Otani lifted his hand to her chin to try to get her to look at him but Risa moved her head and looked down.

"Risa, look at me. This is important." Said Otani

Risa looked at him and Otani leaned in and kissed her. Risa closed her eyes.

'Is this really happening? I wonder if hates me still'

Otani stops kissing and leans back. Risa opens her eyes and looks down. Otani clears his throat.

"Risa, i had time to think after you left to realize what an idiot i am. I know i never admit to it but I know when i am wrong. I know you have no feelings for Haruka, but it still hurts that you slept with him while drunk. I just wanted to say that I am sorry." Said Otani while looking down

Risa lifts her head and stares at Otani like he has a 2nd head. Otani starts to blush. Risa laughs and glomps him. Otani lifts his head to call her a name when Risa kissed him. They kissed for 5 minutes before coming up for air. Risa smiled and leaned into him.

"Thanks Otani. i was sure you was gonna dump me. Im glad we are still dating..um we are still dating right?" Asks Risa

"Of course you amazon! We are dating." yelled Otani

"Well excuse me you midget!" Yelled Risa

Far away, Chiharu, Suzuki, Nobu and Nakao were watching them two fight. They looked at eachother and smilled. Haruka, who was farther back, behind a building, was watching the fight and started to cry. He wanted Otani to leave her and have Risa as his own, but his plan backfired. He cried and runs the other way.
