Chapter Four: Pokemon Emergency!
The group now found themselves in front of the Celestic Town Memorial Pokemon Hospital, which is one of the largest hospitals in Sinnoh, and a major one. Not wasting any time, Star got Arceus on her back and cantered into the lobby with her mate lain on her back nearing death. She calls for Nurse Joy, who rushes into the lobby and gasps in shock and horror at the state Arceus is in, and quickly motions for a Chansey to bring a stretcher, as Katara hands her the Jewel of Life, while the Original One himself was taken to the ER. The group then proceeds to wait in the lobby.
The news of what just happened spread globally, when a news crew came to the hospital as well as Ash, Dawn, Brock, May, Max, Misty, Sheena, Kevin, Alice, Tonio, the Sinnoh Elite Four and Gym Leaders, Link, Cynthia, Paul much to Ash's disdain, though Reggie is there, too. Star warns them about Arceus' traumatized state, to which Paul scoffs, "Hmph, whatever." At this, Ash warns, "Just remember, Paul, Reggie's got his eye on you." Sheena nods in agreement, as she asks, "What happened with the Jewel of Life?"
Star replies, "Don't worry, it's in Nurse Joy's safe hands, and she'll mostly likely put it back in his body during the surgery. But, I know that it will not heal his wounds, as they would have to heal naturally, since the Jewel of Life only keeps him alive. Anyways, what do you all want to do while we wait." They nodded, as they stayed in the lobby and chatted for awhile. Hours went by, and Nurse Joy told them that the operation is finished, and Arceus is in the recovery room.
The group went into the Recovery Room to see Arceus, who is asleep. Star went to his side, with relieved tears running down her face, as Arceus began to wake up and let out a pained whimper. She felt her heart break at the sound, and started to nuzzle against her mate to reassure him, though it seems like false comfort. It got worse as he notices humans in the room, and retreats under the bedsheets, whimpering in fear.
Star shook her head, as tries to coax him out from under the covers, but to no avail. Paul smirked cruelly, as he goes behind Arceus and slaps his rear harshly and painfully with such force, caused Arceus to let out a weak cry in pain as the area of where there is skin had a few vessels get ruptured, causing it to bleed. He snarls, as he hits Arceus even more, to which Misty becomes furious, pulling out her mallet and whacking Paul upside the head with a rage-filled growl, knocking him unconscious as she dragged him outside the room. Reggie sighs in exasperation, as he too leaves the recovery room, while Arceus still whimpers in fear.
Star decided to get into the bed with her mate, as she presses herself against him and pulls him closer to her and nuzzles him reassuringly. Arceus whimpers softly, as he latches onto Star's right breast to suckle, knowing all too well that he would not be able to eat solid food for a while. She coos to him, "There, there, love, help yourself to my milk." He sighs, pressing himself against Star and closing his eyes in contentment and dozed off, while suckling lightly. She smiles warmly, as she too goes to sleep.
Next morning, Arceus gets visited by Ash, Dawn, Lance, Cynthia, Brock, Misty, May, and Max. He shivered in fear, as Ash approaches first, and hid himself under the bedsheets, whimpering in fear. The Kanto-born trainer gently removes the bedsheets, and pets the Original One in a way that would not cause any pain, as he apologizes, "Arceus, I'm very sorry about what had happened to you." The legendary replies, "It could not be helped, Ash Ketchum. What I had went through, was horrifying, but that's nothing compared to when that Marcus tried to drown me in Silver Water."
Ash's face took on a serious expression, remembering Marcus' conspiracy to steal the Jewel of Life and attempt to kill Arceus. The Original One whimpered, "Gives me the shivers just thinking about it!" The Kanto resident nods in understanding as he gave Arceus a reassuring smile as he gently strokes Arceus, who still shivered at the traumatic and near death experience in both situations, though the Michina incident is still a traumatic memory that he would never forget. He shuddered, "Ugh, I still have nightmares about the incident and it was so painful, and could you imagine the pain and agony that I experienced when I was electrocuted and buried in Silver Water. This past month also was traumatic, too and-and...I..."
Arceus broke down in tears, and whimpered fearfully as he shivered before wetting the bedsheets in fright. Cynthia thinks sadly, "Oh, I wanted to meet the Original One himself, but not like this. It's a terrible thing what he went through," before thinking with venomous contempt, "If I were to ever meet that vile lowlife who did this to him, I will unleash my Pokemon upon her, and she'll truly know what it means to hurt others, and the consequences of her actions!"
Sheena had a look of sadness, as she then approaches Arceus and tries to pet him, though he shied away from her touch. She wasn't deterred, however, and comes closer to him in a non-threatening manner, at which he buries his head into Star's side, whimpering in fear. Sheena remarks, "Maybe I should give him his space and leave him be." Star nods, as the denizen of Michina Town left for the lobby.
Lance came forward and attempted to approach Arceus, at which he shied away from him with a fearful groan. At this, the Dragon Master soothes, "Hey, don't be afraid. It is I, the Dragon Master Lance." At this, Arceus adds, "Who is also a government agent and a very talented trainer, as well as the head of the Kanto Elite Four." At this, Lance gasps, "How did you know of my position as a g-man?"
Arceus replies, "Well, since I know everything, one way or another, I know that the Kanto government would hire only the most talented of trainers to infiltrate the criminal syndicates, and the fact that Ho-Oh has watched Ash's journey since day one." At this, the Dragon Master of Kanto nods in understanding, as he remarks, "Only a god like you, along with my superiors and a few other select people know about this. Anyways, I've heard about what had happened, and I came here to see you, Arceus."
He smiles, "It is most appreciated, Lance," as Star also smiles, thinking, "Oh, I think Arceus is losing his fear of humans, bit by bit. If we can take this slowly, and to reassure him, I am sure we can heal him, but it will not be easy, considering what he's been through at the hands of that insane former princess." Arceus then feels better, as Lance left with a smile. Star then notices a certain red-haired Water-type trainer approaching Arceus, to which he shied away in fear and whimpered nervously and hid under the covers. Misty remarks, "Poor Arceus, it's terrible what happened to him. I just wish I could go after the one responsible for all this, and crack her skull with my mallet."
She then tried to get closer, and so did May and Dawn, but Arceus is now feeling vulnerable and at their mercy, whimpering even more before screaming in fear and began panicking, pleading for them not to get any closer. At this, Max warns, "Hold it! He says not to get any closer. You're scaring him as it is, and I wouldn't want it to get any worse."

They backed off at that, though Arceus is still whimpering fearfully, shivering and feeling that he is in danger, while they are in the room. Max comes up to Arceus with a non-threatening posture, and reached out to him and stroked his neck gently, though he flinched at his touch. Max soothes, "Hey, it'll be alright. I'm nothing to be scared of." At this, Arceus calmed down, smiling warmly at the Norman's son himself, and relaxed. Max grins back, and continues petting him gently. Giving an endeared smile at the sight, is Star, who proceeds to nuzzle Arceus lovingly, before laying on her side to breastfeed him, at which he latches onto her right breast and began suckling.
Star coos to her lover, "There, there, love, have as much of my milk as you would like. I love you so much, Arceus," as she gently nuzzles him, while cooing softly to him, as he suckled. Arceus stops suckling for a moment, and nuzzles her back. Max smiles, "Well, isn't that sweet?" May adds, "Can't argue with that one." Was I snoring again?" At this, Star giggles, "You did snore again, darling." At this, he blushed in embarassment as he then went back to sleep.
