A/N This maybe the last chapter for a while since I'll be starting school up again. I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 4

“So how did the two of you meet?” Will asked.

“Well, we kind of met by accident we were both running late to a class we crashed into each other.” Brian said.

“We both dropped our books as we apologized to each other we looked into each others eyes and it was love at first sight as it were.” Angela said.

Will took a swig of his beer at hearing that. Love at first sight that certainly didn’t sound like her, in fact she use to tell him that love at first sight was only for fairy tales. “So, what do you do Mr. Young?” Will asked changing the subject.

“I’m a student getting my degree as a electrician.”

“And you couldn’t get your degree living in Australia.”

“Daddy!”

“No, its ok Angela, Mr. Turner yes, I still have my Australian accent, but I’ve been living in the states for ten years now.” Brian said.

“I’ve already told Brian everything I even introduced him to dad.” Angela replied.

Will was quiet as he let that sink in she was serious about this guy. “Mr. Turner I admire you sir its not easy going around with the altered gene with everyone thinking you a freak. I am not one to be discriminating I was taught better. I don’t care if Angela has the altered gene and that all of our kids will be able to get pregnant I truly love your daughter.”

Will didn’t know what to say to this boy claim is love to his daughter. He needed time to think he got up from his seat and walked off. Brian looked concerned when Will just walked out on him. Angela put a hand on his shoulder “Let him go, one thing your going to have to learn about my family it takes time for them to get use to something. You see I’m daddy’s little girl the one he carried to term, my siblings were all birthed by my mother.”

“I’m confused?”

“Its along story, it’s a shame my grandparents left on some cruise I would have loved to introduce them to you.”

“Do you think they’d like me? I take it your father doesn’t like me much.”

“As I said I’m daddy’s little girl, I think my grandpas would like you a lot.”

Dr. Turner arrived at work much to Dr. Newman’s relief. “You know we need to hire some more doctors around here.” Dr. Newman said.

“Uh-huh.” Dr. Turner replied.

“Hey are you ok Dr. Turner you seem a bit sore. Not sleep well last night?”

“No not really.” Dr. Turner said with a sigh as he sat at his desk.

“Mrs. Kaji will be here for appointment to check on her baby’s development in a couple of months we’ll be able to pinpoint the gender of the baby.”

“Alright.”

“Are you sure your ok Dr. Turner, your mind seems to be elsewhere today?”

“I’m fine Dr. Newman now you should be off resting up before you start up this evening. Hopefully if I have time I will see if I can get us some more doctors.”

Dr. Newman nodded before heading off. Dr. Turner let out a sigh as he looked over paperwork before checking on his patients. He made a phone call to the nearest college to see if there were any soon to be graduating students who might want a job. To his luck there were several.

He went about his day like any other day, Mrs. Kaji aka Deelia showed up for her ultrasound. “Deelia how are the kids doing?” Dr. Turner asked as he got to work preparing her for the ultrasound.

“Fine Dr. Turner. Danny is in kindergarten now, and Rebecca will be starting preschool soon she’s with her grandfather right now since Roy is at work.”

“How are the cravings? Are you eating right?”

“Yes, however, I’ve been craving chicken like mad in fact I ate a whole bucket of chicken from KFC for lunch today.”

Dr. Turner looked at the screen the baby was coming along nicely. In a month they should be able to see the sex of the baby if the baby cooperates that is. She was farther along then Dr. Newman expected.

“Well your baby is certainly healthy just try not to overindulge too much in sweets if you can help it. It will make it that much harder to loose after the baby is born. Next month we should be able to see the gender of the baby.”

“Thank you Dr. Turner. Um… is something troubling you Dr. Turner?”

“Nothing to concern yourself with my dear I will see you in a month from now.”

Deelia nodded “Thank you Dr. Turner I will see you in a month.” She said before leaving.

Derek wandered the streets of the city after leaving Donald’s apartment. He found himself going to the cemetery stopping at his brother’s grave. He wasn’t alone Donald’s brother Will was already there.

The two of them stood at Jacob’s grave silently. “Something troubling you Will?” he asked after a while.

“My daughter is getting married.”

“Angela getting hitched well that’s good news isn’t it?”

“I don’t know how to feel about it, or her fiancé.”

“Kids have to all grow up and start there own life in time.”

“I know that its just…”

“She’s your baby I know. Look Will no matter what she will always be your little girl no matter how old she gets or gets married. Besides you’ll eventually get to be a grandparent where you can spoil your grandkids rotten and give them back to their parents.”

Will looked on in horror at that statement he wasn’t ready to be a grandparent. “What brings you here?”

“I’m an ass…”

“What else is new? So, what did you do this time?”

“Well I…”

Ty had looked all over the park for his daughter he knew he taught her better then speak to strangers. He tried to calm himself down as dialed Bruce’s number he certainly wasn’t going to like hearing about this.

Bruce was right in the middle of a meeting with some clients about some drugs when his cell went off. He answered it when he knew it was Ty.

“Bruce Keisha is gone!” Ty said in a panic.

“Gone? What do you mean she’s gone? I thought you were taking her to the park today?”

“I did. I turned my back on her for a second and she was gone I looked all over the park for.” Ty said starting to cry into the phone.

“Ty calm down we will find her. Nobody runs off with my daughter I’m on my way now.”

“Should I call the police?”

“No I will take care of it.”

After ending the call with Ty he looked up at his clients. “Gentlemen I’m afraid we will have to postpone our meeting there has been an emergency that I must take care of immediately.” He said heading out.

Ryo was going over filing paperwork while waiting for Jim in forensics to get an ID on the Jane Doe. So far from Jim could get was it was definitely a female body around the age of fourteen or so. Pinpointing the date of the body is rather hard though. The teens that found the body said they were out exploring Central Park when they came across the body.

Seemed a little suspicious to Ryo if the body was indeed twenty years old or more how come no one has found the body until now? It just didn’t make any sense.

Dee was busy preparing things for dinner while the twins played outside. Ryo should be home from work soon if he did it on time dinner should be ready when he got home. He was about to call the kids in to wash up for dinner when the phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Is this the Johnson residence?” The person on the other end asked.

“No, I’m afraid you have the wrong number.” Dee replied.

“Oh my mistake.”

When Dee got off the phone he went to call the twins in only to find them missing. “Jess! Kiseki! Its time for dinner!”

“Come out kids you know I’m horrible at playing hide and seek.”

Ryo came in the front door. “Dee I’m home!”

Dee went inside to talk to Ryo. “Ah there you are. Where are the twins I usually get tackled by…”

“Ryo I can’t find the twins. I was cooking dinner while the kids were outside playing and before I went to call them in I got a phone call from a wrong number and when I went to get the kids they were gone.”

Ryo didn’t know what to think he hated to see Dee upset like this. He went outside and called the kids names. He inspected the backyard where ever they went they went willingly.

“Sarah has a surprise for us? I don’t remember her telling us about a surprise.” Kiseki said.

“Yea…but I like surprises.” Jess said as they followed some guy.

The twins met up with Keisha who was just as excited as the twins for the surprise.

John awoke from his nap and Richard took him up to the dining hall. Once there John had a look around it looked just like the old dining hall.

Flashback

“Oh Richard, John over here!” Charles called out to them.

The two came over and sat down at the table with Charles and Barb and another young couple. “This is a buffet so you can get whatever you want.” Charles said.

“Is it true you and Sue broke up Richard?” Barb asked.

“Uh that’s correct.”

“Oh that’s a shame you and her were such a cute couple.” The other woman said.

John got up to get something to eat at the buffet along with Barb.

“John seems to be putting on some weight he should think about going to gym.” The other man said.

When John and Barb came back to the table filled with plates full of food. The two started to eat ignoring everything around them. “Has anyone told you, you eat like a pregnant woman.” Barb said as she watched John eat.

John didn’t reply as finished up the pie and ice cream on his plate. Richard had a little smirk on his face knowing of course that John was pregnant. The other couple watched John eat in disgust. “Geez did you get enough food on that plate?” The man asked.

“He took at least a little bit of everything. John have you thought about going on a diet your getting rather fat. You should even out your diet a little that way you don’t die of a stroke or something.” The other woman said.

John suddenly put his fork down as he suddenly wasn’t hungry anymore. “Excuse me.” John said getting up and leaving the dinning hall.

“Well, that was rather rude it was just an honest remark no need for him to get offensive about it.” The woman said.

John stood over the side of the boat as he puked his guts out again. He heard the people who walked pass him mention something about him being an alcoholic. Once he stopped puking he ran his hands down to his stomach. “Easy little one we will just eat in our cabin from now on okay.” he told his baby.

Back to Present

John looked at all the happy couples both straight and gay as they ate off each others plate. He never understood that.

“John! Richard!” a woman called out to them.

They looked over in the direction of a woman and man coming there way. “John look at you, you lost a lot of weight from the last time we saw you.”

“So are you two enjoying the cruise?” The man asked.

John suddenly felt uncomfortable even more so as Richard wrapped an arm around him.

“A..Are you two together?” The man asked not believing what he was seeing.

“Yes, and I am enjoying my vacation with my husband.” Richard said.

“Oh my God!” the woman said.

“Is there a problem?” Richard asked her daring her to say something.

“This makes so much sense now I wish I had realized it sooner. This explains your reaction when he left the table the first time we met.” The woman said.

The man was still too shocked for words that Richard was gay and married. He finally found his voice. “So is this the reason you broke up with Sue?”

“No.” Richard replied.

“John I want to apologize for my comments back then.”

“Come on dear we don’t want to waste up all there time.”

“Oh right it was nice to see you again.”

Once they left John let out a sigh of relief. “Are you alright babe?”

“I’m fine.”

“You know I’ve always wanted to tell those two off for the way they treated you. I was very tempted to knock there socks off for making you feel bad during that time.”

John let a smile cross his lips as he kissed his husbands cheek.
