"I-I'm Haruhi..." Haruhi answered Kyoya's question nervously.
"So what brings you and your friends here Haruhi?"
"Well...you actually"
"Me? Well if you want me you'll have to come with. Lots of work to do. This rabble can't do anything by themselves" Kyoya chuckled, "come on!"
With that he bounced down among the other elves. Haruhi followed him with a look of dismay in Mrs Clause's direction.
"Okay people fun's over" Kyoya clapped and everyone turned to look at him.
"Jinx!" And "Kyoya" were cried at once and Kyoya was surrounded.
"Where have you been Jinx?" one elf glomped Kyoya on one side as another elf clung to his arm on the other.
"I... Don't know exactly but... Im back" Kyoya pulled out a red notebook and started writing, "we only have 27 days until Christmas so what's the status report?"
"Jingling away wonderfully" the elf who had been glomping said happily "balls are completed, dolls are painted and the orders will be in well before Christmas eve"
"Excellent!" Kyoya jotted things down happily then high fived them.
"Kyoya Senpai" the twins showed up in front of Kyoya after pushing their way through the elves.
"Wow you guys move in perfect sync!" Kyoya gaped "oh and your hair! It's such a cool colour!"
"What happened to you? You're smaller" Hikaru stared wide eyed.
"Yeah and you're smiling for real" Kaoru reached out touched the dimples Kyoya hadn't shown until then.
"oh my Gosh! He's a giant!" Kyoya bounded over to Mori "how did you get so huge?! Wow!"
Mori just looked horrified.
"Kyo chan!" Honey was there in seconds, "you're little like me! Let's play!"
"You're new... Wait you aren't an elf... You are so adorable!" Kyoya hugged Honey and Honey looked up at Mori worriedly.
"Kyoya are you okay?" Tamaki meekly approached.
"Kyoya? I don't know any Kyoya" Kyoya turned to look at Tamaki and froze.
Tamaki played with his fingers nervously.
"You... You should be an elf" Kyoya said quietly and lifted his arms like a child wanting to be picked up.
Tamaki picked him up and they regarded each other.
"Why do all the big people act like they know me? I don't understand" Kyoya smiled briefly, "you know me but I don't know who you are"
"I'm Tamaki...I ummm..." Tamaki looked to Trixie who shook her head.
"We looked after you in the human world while you were a bit unwell" Haruhi said, thinking quickly.
"Oh! Well that explains it!" Kyoya seemed satisfied "so tell me Tamaki are you an elf in human form or something? You have a Christmassy feeling about you"
"I'm just a normal person last time I checked " Tamaki smiled, "you seem much happier now. I'm glad"
"Wanna help us finish off for Christmas? I'm sure there's something you could do"
So the host club watched and helped as the elves worked. Kyoya weaved amongst them all, supervising and making notes as he chatted cheerily with each elf.
"My brother always was an excellent head elf" Trixie smiled up at Haruhi, " things haven't run so smoothly without him"
"Looks like some things haven't changed much" Haruhi smiled sadly. She was looking at Tamaki who despite his smile had lost the twinkle in his eye.
"sis!" Kyoya glomped Trixie for all he was worth, "it's so good to see you!"
"I was gonna show our new friends around some more Jinx. Help me? You know more than I do"
"Sure!" Kyoya gave Trixie another squeeze then turned to the room "keep it up guys! You're doing great! Come on big people! There's a lot more to see here!"
