Chapter 5

            Shiryu wiped the sweat from his forehead, it
definitely was a hot day. He climbed the mountain trails, heading for his
home. He had asked if he could return to the Five Ancient Peaks for a few days
to visit his master and Shunrei. It was mostly Shunrei he wanted to see, he
knew he had not paid enough attention to her the last few times he had visited
and he wanted to make it up to her. He also hoped to squeeze in a quick visit
with Mu if he could get to his reclusive home within the time frame he had
available. Shiryu smiled as he thought of both his little Shunrei and new
friend Mu.

            He found it strange that he was attracted to
both of them, one being a female, one being a male, but he had heard that people
could be attracted to both sexes. Shiryu stopped for a brief rest and tilted
his head up to gauge the position of the sun. Oh good, I should be home
before sunset. I bet Shunrei will be surprised to see me, I can�t wait to see
the look on her face.

Meanwhile�

            Their lips met with an intensity that Mu was
surprised he possessed, Shunrei seemed shocked as well. This was too much
for him, being naked with her clutching his manhood, innocently asking him to

            Shunrei clung to him, her arms holding his neck

wanted you to be the one to show me.� Shunrei lifted her head to plead with
him, she knew he felt guilty.

            �Thank you Shunrei, I appreciate it, but I
acted inappropriately, please forgive me.� Mu was almost in tears, how could
I have caved to my desires and done this to her? Shunrei�s finger wiped a
falling tear from his cheek. �Please don�t feel bad�I am grateful for what you
did. You are sweet and gentle. I�m the one who should feel
bad, I should not have asked you. I�m sorry I made you do something you didn�t
want to do.� Shunrei misunderstood his regret, thinking she lured him when he
did not desire her.

            �Shunrei�I wanted to, I wanted you. That is

of you and�what about Shiryu?� Mu smiled at her, touched that she was
attempting to take the blame. �Shiryu? Oh�I doubt he would want to do this
with me.� Shunrei sighed heavily at the mention of her first love�s name.

            �I bet he would. Why do you think that?� Mu
kissed her forehead to comfort her. �Shiryu only sees me as a little sister.�
Mu could tell it broke her heart, that she did love Shiryu after all. �But you
love him anyway, don�t you?� Mu knew what it was like to want someone
unobtainable. �Yes�I love him.�

            �Oh Shunrei.� Mu cuddled her close, stroking
her head. �I�m sure he loves you too.� Mu wanted her to feel better and he
felt that Shiryu loved her. �But�I wanted to be with you�I still want to be
with you Mu. Please don�t feel bad.� Shunrei smiled sweetly and melted the
worry from his heart.

            The sun began to set, an orange glow settled in
the room and Mu held Shunrei close as they drifted into a light sleep, tired
from the heat and making love. She lay on his bare chest with one arm wrapped
around his side. The sheets were tangled at the bottom of the bed leaving their
bodies naked and uncovered for all to see. But there was only one person that
saw them.

            Shiryu stood in the partially open doorway
staring at the scene before him. His heart dropped into his stomach. Shunrei
was with Mu, laying on him, naked with him. It was obvious what had transpired
between them and Shiryu gazed sadly at them. And to top it all off, they were
in his bed. Why Shunrei? Mu? Shiryu turned to leave, intent on
returning to Japan like this had never happened when Mu cracked an eye open and
saw the Dragon Saint retreating down the hall. Oh no! Shiryu!
