A gun felt more than comfortable in her hands.
With the cold metal pressed against her palms and with her finger on the trigger she could bring anyone under her absolute will. More than the feel of it, she liked the recoil. The brief, sudden jolt that occurred after she fired the firearm always made her feel alive.
Seeing this, it was no wonder Mana liked target practice.
It took long enough to line the empty cans and bottles she gathered on the side of the wooden cabin and she just wanted to relax and fire a few rounds now. She would agree it would be better practice to shoot at something more realistic but, for now, she would have to make the best of what she had.
With a smile, she pulled the trigger. The sound of the gunshot made the birds take flight and the bullet went on its way to its intended target. The red-haired girl smiled as the can fell off the fence the second it was hit.
Before she could take aim at the next can a voice stopped her, “Wow… you’re a good shot.”
She sighed, “Shinji, you don’t have to be out here if you don’t want to.” She softly said, still feeling bad for having to do this stuff to him.
“I know,” He paused and looked down at the ropes that kept him tied to the chair, “But I really can’t do anything while I’m tied up and stuff… so I thought it would be better to watch.”
True to his word, Shinji Ikari, the pilot of Unit 01, was tied to a chair in the backyard of a cabin that was in the middle of nowhere. To be exact, it was not far from Tokyo-3, but still remote enough that it would be a hard place to find without knowing its exact location.
At first he was confused, but then his former classmate explained the situation to him.
He was kidnapped by her.
The whole idea of the ordeal would have been laughable if he didn’t realize that she did indeed tie him up. For reasons unknown to him, Mana took it upon herself to catch him off-guard, kidnap him, and then take him out of Tokyo-3 as fast as she could.
Mana put the gun back in the holster and walked towards the pilot. Because of him she didn’t even feel like shooting anymore but this still provided a good time to make sure they understood each other.
“Look Shinji,” Her crystal blue eyes stared into his ocean blue ones, “I didn’t explain it well before and I just wanted to get stuff straight so you wouldn’t be confused.”
“Okay,” Came the reply from her captive.
“I’m a spy. I was sent to get on… romantic terms with you to gather information.” She turned away to hide her blush but, by doing so, missed the blush on Shinji’s face.
“But,” She continued, “Sohryu got in the way of that.”
“Huh?” Shinji blinked as he remembered that Asuka actually was right when she said the girl was probably a spy.
“It all started when you took a week out to spend it with her. After that, she became more… possessive of you. It was to the point where she stopped my advances.”
“You mean Asuka liked me?” He slowly asked, having trouble picturing his roommate saying anything kind to him.
She looked at the sky in thought for a while before she delivered her answer, “I really don’t know Shinji. I think she’s just competitive or something like that.”
“Oh…”
“Anyway,” She changed the subject seeing the downcast look on his face, “I had to change my tactics and it just happened to be a coincidence that we were on cleaning duty.”
Shinji nodded. The last thing he really remembered was cleaning the desk and, after that, everything got blurry.
Mana rubbed the back of her neck, “So… I took advantage of the situation. I didn’t mean to hit you so hard, it’s just that I didn’t bring the chloroform and stuff since I didn’t exactly think I’ll be kidnapping anyone.” She ended her statement with a nervous laugh.
Even if her statement reminded him of the dull pain in the base of his neck, Shinji just nodded. The situation he was in was certainly more than awkward and, although he sure he was supposed to be attempting to escape, he didn’t feel like he was in any danger for once.
‘Figures,’ The pilot thought as Mana still tried to ease herself though laughter, ‘I didn’t think she would treat me like I was important for no reason…'
“After that… I just got a ride and stopped at the first place I found.” Mana looked around the landscape for the first time.
It was a very calming place. A plain filled with tall lush grass that was dotted by the occasional thin tree with the vacant cabin in the distance. It was more than amazing. It was a place that was fused with nature. It was relaxing enough where one could just lie down in the soft grass and look at the clouds that lingered in the sky, but, more importantly, it was the perfect place for hiding for a while.
Mana knew the place was beautiful and all but that didn’t mean Nerv wouldn’t find them eventually. It wasn’t a matter of avoiding the organization but a matter of how long she actually could escape its grasp. She had to get the information from him, somehow find a way to contact her superior officers, and get out of here before they were found.
She came up with the idea on the fly but she was well trained to adapt to a number of situations. Still, it was something else that she had to make clear before she proceeded.
“I’m sorry about this… I really am.”
“It’s okay… it’s your job right?”
Once again, Mana sighed, “You’re not supposed to be content with this Shinji. I’m not good at interrogation and I don’t want to hurt you more than I already did so…”
“I don’t like my job either.” He cut her off as he continued, “Misato and everyone tell me that it’s my job… but that doesn’t mean that I like it or want to do it.”
“I don’t like my job either,” Mana honestly admitted, “It’s just that I needed money and…” She trailed off as an idea came to mind.
“Hey! What about we both live together? Just the two of us...”
“M-Mana, what are you talking about?”
“I know it sounds strange, but, at least for now, let’s pretend that we aren’t a spy and a pilot. From now on, I’m just normal Mana and you’re just normal Shinji.”
“What about getting your-“
It was Shinji’s turn to be interrupted as the girl cut him off, “Forget about it. I know enough information to file something and, since I already took things this far, let’s make the best of it alright!” She winked and Shinji laughed for the first time since he woke up.
“If that’s true then why did you kidnap me in the first place?” Shinji asked amidst his laughter.
Mana rubbed her cheek as she looked up in thought, “I was planning on asking you some questions with threats and stuff.” She said, holding up the gun for further clarification.
“But,” she continued, “I’m honestly tired of this.”
Shinji laughs stopped at the sight of her gloomy expression. He was too shy to admit it but he liked Mana even if she was only messing around with him because she was a spy. In light of that, seeing the normal cheerful girl sad was cause for concern even if she did kidnap him, “Mana…”
She signed before she sat on the grass, “I’m tired of being a spy Shinji.”
Mana pulled her knees up to her chest. For once, even for a little while, she wanted to distance herself from the job she hated. She knew she couldn’t quit. The best she could do was hope for a promotion which meant better pay and for a long vacation that would end the moment she was needed again.
“I’ll like that.”
She raised her head to look at the blushing boy, “Yea, I’ll like to spend time with you Mana.” Shinji repeated the blush on his face taking a darker red.
It was the beginning of the best time each of the two ever had in their lives.
~*~
Mana walked across the small cabin in thought as the sun fell under the horizon. The small wooden cabin wasn’t exactly what she considered something amazing but it would make due as shelter from the environment.
The cabin itself was virtually empty save a bed in the corner and a table in the center. The only chair was taken by Shinji, freed of the ropes that tied him to it, who sat in it. Seeing that it was beginning to get dark, Shinji turned on the lamp on the table.
The cabin was the last thing on her mind though. As she walked back and forth, Mana was thinking of the first thing she and her former captive should do. One thing was predetermined. She had to set a few traps around the perimeter.
Based on how she observed Section Two, they operated on shifts. It was during one of those shift changes that she causally snuck out of the school and took advantage of a lady that just so happened to be going in a direction opposite the school.
It was surprisingly easy to talk the lady into giving her and her ‘exhausted boyfriend’ a ride. Even where most people lifted an eyebrow in disbelief, the older woman simply nodded with a soft smile. In hindsight, Mana remembered she only asked one question about their destination and it was relating to her relationship with Shinji.
She contemplated the question as the lady came to a slow stop. The woman took the blush on her face as a reply and nodded with a smile. Before leaving, she asked if it was okay to leave them on the side of the road and Mana waved her off with a smile of her on.
As the lady drove off, Mana looked around and just happened to catch a glimpse of the cabin. Promising to pray and thank God after she arrived at the cabin, she looked around to verify no agents were near and half dragged Shinji inside.
By now they were certainly on full alert and probably all of the agents besides those assigned to the First Child and the Second Child were looking for Shinji. She was fairly sure that no one besides the woman who dropped them off here saw her, but she still couldn’t be sure.
The girl undid the red ribbon on her uniform and reached into her blouse. She wanted to laugh as Shinji’s eyes almost fell out but the seriousness of the situation kept her from doing so. Surprised at what she pulled out, Shinji’s mouth dropped open as he looked at what dangled from her hand.
Mana smiled, “Trip wire, can’t leave home without it.” She said as she held the coil of wire up for Shinji to get a better look. Although a bra wasn’t the ideal hiding place, it was good enough and the spy was glad she was trained to take it with her no matter what.
“I’m going to set some traps around here Shinji,” She starts to uncoil the long, thin line of wire, “It’s going to take a while so you should go to sleep.”
“Can I help?”
Mana raised her head, “Are you sure? It will take a few hours.”
“Well, I don’t really have anything to do and I’m not really sleepy…”
A small flashlight fell in his lap and she closed her briefcase before putting it back to the side, “Ha, do me a favor and hold the flashlight.”
~*~
“Yea, just like that.” Mana said as she instructed Shinji on looping the wire around the tree, “Now pull it tight.”
He did just as she said and she flicked the almost invisible wire with her finger. It vibrated and Shinji pulled it tighter until it hardly moved when touched.
With Shinji’s help, setting the wire up around the perimeter was way easier than she thought it would be. Seeing that this was the last tree, all she had to do was make it so she would know when someone tripped it.
She already took this into account as she held up the small radio she got out her briefcase. In a situation like this, a loud alarm wouldn’t be a good idea. So she would use the radio to produce a silent alarm so to speak.
Mana bent over and wrapped the wire around one of the knobs on the radio before she forced it into the ground. Testing to see if the line of wire was perfectly still, she decided to see if her plan would work.
“Can you step on it Shinji?”
He nodded and slowly applied his foot down onto the wire.
Nothing happen.
Shinji looked over his shoulder at the girl whose expression was of obvious distress. Before he could ask what was wrong, she snatched the device out of her ear and held it away, “It works!” She exclaimed, the screeching alarm still buzzing from the receiver that was in her ear.
The pilot wasn’t surprised. Mana outlined how she was going to make it work. Instead of a loud alarm warning everyone of an intruder’s presence, she could just make it so her radio sent a distress signal directly to her. It was a brilliant idea.
“It’s too bad…” She whispered as she sat back up and replaced the receiver back in her ear, “I can’t practice shooting anymore.”
If she went shooting at stuff again then placing the trap would be in vain. She wasn’t dumb enough to give away her location just because she wanted to past the time with something she liked doing.
Knowing this, she decided to past the time with something else she liked.
She knew it was a useless question before she asked, but she felt she needed to break the silence that fell, “Hey Shinji, do you know how to fight?”
“I… I don’t know.” He scratched his hair in thought, “I fight when I pilot but I never really got in a fight with anyone or anything…”
This brought a smile to her face, “Mind if I teach you some stuff?”
While the prospect of learning how to fight from a girl would turn many a male off, Shinji was eager to learn something from her, “I don’t mind at all!”
“Let’s go back to the cabin first. Don’t want to waste the flashlight on this while we can use the lamp.” She said as Shinji tighten the string once more.
“Fighting is easy,” Mana started to walk away with Shinji falling not far behind, “You’re be surprise what a punch can do.”
Shinji grinned as the thought of Touji knocking him to the ground came to mind, “You’re the last person I could imagine getting in a fight Mana…”
“Huh?” She looked over her shoulder as they walked, “What do you mean by that?” She asked lightly, curious to what he was thinking.
“I mean… Well, you are kind.”
He found it difficult to get out what he wanted to say, “I mean you paid attention to me… Even if you had to, it just felt like you was the first person didn’t stay around me because I was a pilot.”
“If I didn’t pilot then no one would be interested in me…”
“I would.”
It was his turn to look at her. Confused, he could only listen as she continued.
“You’re kind too Shinji. It would be better if you opened up a bit but I’m sure a lot of people like you the way you are,” Mana stopped and turned around to face her classmate, “For example, I like you.”
That declaration of affection was a light one but the effect it had on Shinji was heavy.
He was stunned, “T-That’s the first time anyone ever said that to me.”
She also reacted with shock but it barely registered on her face. With another one of her soft smiles, Mana neared Shinji and stopped in front of him, “I’ll say it more if you want me to.”
“I… I,” He gulped, “I like you too Mana.”
It was then that she remembered. Like Shinji, no one ever said those simple words to her either. It was always recognition for being good at piloting or a pat on the back for grasping something quicker than those around her, but never was it a simple compliment that made her feel better about just being herself.
Before her stood someone who didn’t care that she could pilot some machine or that she could sneak into facilities and leave no traces. Shinji liked her. Not the Mana that piloted or the Mana that was a spy.
He simply liked the person she really was.
Both of the teenagers stood in the tall grass and stared at the other. Neither one knew how much their words affected the other, but they were certain of the impact it had on their own hearts.
Naturally, Mana was the first to react. She closed what little distance was still between them and looked him directly in the eyes. The kind-hearted amusement that filled her crystal blue eyes was gone. She looked up at him with a neutral expression void of the happiness he associated with her.
“Do you mean that…?” She asked, her voice softer than the breeze that made their clothes and the grass sway.
He briefly considered moving away from her. This closeness was not something he was familiar with. This was his first being this close to anyone both emotionally and physically and it almost felt uncomfortable.
Almost.
The delay in his answer meant nothing as she continued to stare at him.
Shinji looked her back in the eye, “You’re important to me Mana…”
It was the honest truth. All the while, unknown to even himself, he became more attached to his classmate. Even when she reviled her true intentions, he still couldn’t deny that she was important to him.
She was a person he cared for.
With the fighting techniques she was about to show him all but forgotten, she advanced on him. Shinji wasn’t expecting any contact between them so he was openly taken back when her arms wrapped around him.
What amazed him the most however wasn’t the way she hugged him or how close she was, it was what she whispered in his ear as her head rested on his shoulder, “That’s the first time anyone ever said that to me.”
Thankfully, he allowed her to stay in that position and even, not without a bead of sweat building on his brow, put his arms around her. It was a gauche embrace but Shinji was an awkward person.
But… she was an awkward person too.
Mana was never overly emotional but she was still a person and people always wanted to feel needed. Even if she and Shinji were needed by others, she would much rather be needed by someone who actually cared about how she felt.
Something that neither of the two realized was that they were gradually becoming more than just friends. With this closeness, they were something even more than girlfriend and boyfriend.
If even for a fleeting moment, they understood not only the person opposite them but also themselves. They constantly dealt with pressures that normal people would succumb to and rose to the expectations that people placed on them.
In the understanding silence that arrived with her admission, they stood still as she held him close.
“Are you hungry?” Mana asked, chaning the subject.
“Depends on what we have to eat.” Shinji replied, wondering what she could be offering.
“I got some capsules back in my briefcase. They give them to us to keep us upright for a few days without food.” She sighed remembering the bitter taste of them, “I already ate most of them over the pass weeks and-“
Shinji tensed as she mentioned it, “Why didn’t you say something… I would have shared my lunch with you.”
“I was alright. If I eat some actual food I might get sick and besides,” She raised her head off his shoulder to look him in eyes as she spoke, “I liked to watch you eat.”
“I’m not really hungry. You should eat the rest of them.” He said as she continued to stare at him.
“I’m going to wash up in the river. You should at least eat a few.” Mana voiced as she got off of him.
Deciding that he didn’t actually want the capsules, he thought of a better idea, “Can I come with you? N-Not to p-peak or anything!” He stuttered.
Mana checked her wrist watch. It was going on two o’clock in the morning. She was used to going on without rest and Shinji, except for the occasional yawn, seemed to be fairing just as well.
It wasn’t so much that they were going without sleep that Mana worried about. At the most, she only had the reminder of the day to stay here before she would have to move again.
Still, that was more than enough time to take a relaxing wash up in the river she spotted on the way to the cabin. Even if that took more than a few hours, she would still have time to take a nap and get Shinji back to Nerv.
For a few hours, she had nothing to worry about.
“Don’t worry,” She smiled as she turned on her charm, “I know you’re not the pervert Sohryu says you are.”
She turned and started to walk towards the river and Shinji, having no idea were it was, followed her closely. His mind wasn’t on the events that took place so far or even the kidnapping.
At the mention of his roommate, his mind started to wander. He thought about how Misato would react to his absence. His raven-haired guardian would probably still be yelling at Section Two.
Asuka would probably be laughing at the fact that he managed to get kidnapped by a girl no less. While he found it interesting that Mana originally changed her tactics because of Asuka, he couldn’t see why the change was needed. The redhead treated him the same way since day one and Mana’s appearance only served to add fuel to her fire.
The oddly refreshing feel of something wet on his face quickly caused his train of thought to derail.
Shinji blinked the water out of his eyes and his sight came to rest on a fluent stream of water. While it wasn’t quite the river Mana made it out to be, it was certainly a constant flow of water.
It didn’t appear that deep but he wasn’t taking any chances.
Mana lowered her hands after she splashed him, “Ha, are you scared of the water?”
Shinji nodded as he looked at his undressing companion and swiftly turned away. He gulped, “I kind of don’t know how to swim.”
“Really?”
“Yea…”
Mana smiled as she discarded her undergarments and got into the river. She smiled as she discovered the temperature of the water was just right. Although she would prefer a hot spring any day, a soothing wash up outside didn’t displease her at all.
Briefly ducking her head under the surface for a moment to glaze at the depths, she was sure that it wasn’t too high or too low either. With her check of the water complete, Mana came back to the surface, “Shinji, how about I teach you how to swim?”
Forgetting that she was actually naked, he turned towards her. For the first time since he met Mana he really took a good look at her.
Under the moonlight, Mana smiled back at him as she waited for his reply. Her wet, fiery red hair was matted to her face and made her look way more childish than she ever acted. Her soft skin completion only seemed to compliment her cerulean eyes that never pressed him for anything.
“Do you want me to come and get you?” She asked before sinking under the surface again.
Mana was beautiful.
He continued to stare as she got out of the water and walked up to him, “Though you said you weren’t going to peek.”
Snatching his eyes away from her as the fact dawned upon him, Shinji blushed, “I didn’t mean to. I… How am I going to learn if I can’t face you?”
He gasped as her damp hands came to his shirt and started to unbutton it, “I never said you didn’t have to look at me.”
“But! But you’re-“
“Naked?” Mana smiled, “It’s just the two of us Shinji. I’m just going to teach you how to swim and we don’t want to have our clothes wet do we?”
“Well… no.” Shinji agreed as she pulled his T-shirt off.
His blush became a darker shade of red when she reached for his pants. When she reached for his pants, Shinji softly placed his hands on top of hers and she understood that he completely complying with what she said.
“Well, let’s do it!” Mana exclaimed.
~*~
“I can’t believe you almost drowned four times Shinji.” Mana cried her voice almost hoarse because of all the laughing she did and was still doing.
“I don’t find it funny…” He voiced as they walked back to the cabin with their clothes on.
“Come on Shinji, I even you laughed the third time.”
“That’s only because you tickled me Mana.” He pointed out as his companion continued to laugh at his ordeal.
She wiped the tears out her eyes, “In the end, you really did it though Shinji.”
“Yea,” he smiled as recalled the moment.
Learning to swim was easy, but, in the process of also having her fun, Mana made it harder than it should have been. Besides tickling him, she also provided other distractions such as the feel of her breasts pressing into his back. While the feeling wasn’t bad at all, it didn’t at all make him focus harder on swimming.
Needless to say, it was fun.
It was the most fun he had in a long time.
True to her word, Mana, for a while at least, made him forget he was a pilot and that she was a spy. For moment, they were best friends sharing their happiness. For once, Shinji had a reason to smile and it was ironic that it came by way of a kidnapping.
As the cabin came into sight, Mana ran ahead, “Stay here.”
Fearing that something was wrong, Shinji patiently waited. It didn’t take long for Mana to stick her head back outside the door and signal for him to come in. He carefully looked around as he walked inside the cabin.
Shinji noticed that the inside was unchanged. Nothing was different about anything in the wooden cabin and he didn’t see any obvious cause for concern, “What was wrong?”
“Nothing…”
Mana fell into the chair. Shinji noticed that she seemed tired but didn’t mention it as he pondered her reply. In similar fashion to his guardian, Shinji decided to take a chance and press the issue, “It didn’t look like nothing.”
“Shinji,” She paused and turned her attention to the lamp, “Do you really like me?”
The forlorn look in her eyes made his heart clench. It was a question that he could answer easily but the sheer fact that she had to ask him spoke volumes, “I really like you Mana.” He declared in the most convincing voice he could muster.
“I wanted to make this special for both of us.”
“You already did.”
She chewed on her lip, “No… I want to be with you Shinji.”
Mana brought her eyes back on him, “I know it sounds dumb but I think I fell in love with you Shinji. I know you don’t feel the same way about me… yet but I just want things to stay like this.”
“That’s not dumb at all but,” He closed his eyes and remembered when he ran away, “The Angels… I can’t run away from them.”
“Come with me then. After I come back from this job, I’ll have the money and we can stay together in Tokyo-3 until the Angels are defeated and-“
“No,” Shinji shook his head, “My father wouldn’t allow it…”
That was it. In ten hours or less, she would be gone from his life until they had a chance to see each other again which was a slim chance given their professions. The time they spent together would become a memory, something to look back on as they moved on with their lives.
Mana had other plans.
Getting up from her chair, she moved towards Shinji and stopped right in front of him. This was not the first time she stood in front of him or the first time she looked him in the eye, but it was surely the first time she kissed him.
Taken over by shock, Shinji could only let Mana have her way.
In contrast to how she initiated the kiss, the way her mouth moved as she probed his mouth with her tongue was slow and sensual. Placing her hand on his chest, she leaned into the kiss and put her tongue even deeper inside his mouth.
By this time, Shinji, who was back to his senses, met her advances with equal force. This being his first kiss, he wasn’t as experienced as he would have liked to be but he kissed her back.
His mind wandered to the… illicit material Kensuke provided him a sample of and he put it to good use. Mana moaned as his hand managed to get into her unbuttoned blouse and take a good firm squeeze of her breast. Shinji repeated this as they backed into the table and knocked the lamp down.
Too caught up in the kiss to notice the darkness that fell inside the cabin, they fell into a wall and continued the drawn out kiss. Not before Shinji pressed his fingers into the soft flesh that made up her breast, Mana broke the kiss.
With the only source of light being the red glow that came from her wrist watch, Mana spoke in the almost total darkness, “Keep going…” She begged.
Not needing any light to find her neck, Shinji began to plant kisses on the side of it. He made no move to remove her shirt as the trail of kisses went from her neck to her chest. The aggressor of the contact became submissive as Shinji took complete control of her.
He stopped the kisses and removed his hand. Mana, quickly becoming annoyed by the lack of touch, was about to speak until she felt his hands on her. Just like she undressed him before, he was undressing her. He slid the straps of her uniform over her shoulders and pulled on the skirt causing it to fall to the floor. Her blouse and several of his clothes later met with her uniform on the floor.
Next, his hand fell on her forearm and moved down until it was on her hand. Grasping her hand firmly in his, he led her towards the corner where the bed was.
It didn’t take long to find it in the dark and they were lying on it within seconds.
It was so dark that she couldn’t even see his face and he was on top of her but that was what made it so much better. In the almost complete darkness, she wasn’t aware of what he was going to do next and that itself was reason enough to make her tremble.
The same shy boy she used to watch eat his lunch was now looming over her body in the dark.
She couldn’t get enough of it.
His hands came into contact with her skin and she trembled as they roamed over her body. They finally started to slide down her sides until they got to the elastic band of her underwear. Sparing her the teasing, he pulled off the garment and threw it as he leaned his face lower.
Like he did on her neck, he started leaving a trail of brief kisses from her stomach, then navel, and inner thigh. He stopped and, suddenly, licked her pussy with one broad lick.
The tip of his tongue touched between the pink petals of her sex and went all the way up to her sensitive clitoris. He repeated the act with his fingers further separating the wet lips of her womanhood.
“Oh… Oh God,” Mana cried as the pleasure started to peak with each lick,” Keep going… Y-Yea just- Ahh!”
His tongue darted inside of her.
His thumb continued to rub against her clit and provided the satisfying friction as Shinji’s entire mouth came to rest on her most private spot. With each breath he took, he exhaled a hot, spent breath on her wet slit. Mana moaned as his tongue stroked her inside and out.
“Shinji!” She yelled as she clenched the single sheet on the bed.
Before he could even raise his head, a flood of her juices came forth and he tasted more of the girl beneath him. Her body shook as the wave of ecstasy continued to assault her. Mana’s first ever orgasm left her in a weary, but dreamlike state, “I… I swear I love you Shinji.”
Licking up the essence that still leaked out of her, Shinji drove his tongue back into her wet vagina as he placed his hands on her thighs. Pulling her thighs, he drove his tongue even deeper inside her and it happened.
Again, she climaxed. This time he slid his tongue out of her tightening pussy and swallowed as much of her juices as he could. Her back arched as the orgasm sustained longer than the first but Shinji kept his mouth in place on her dripping sex.
As her second orgasm died down, they both knew what was coming. Without so much as even a murmur, she felt his penis enter her. The issue of her virginity was one that was overlooked as her hymen gave way to his probing dick. Besides a slight flinch, the only outcome of the broken hymen was the pace that Shinji was going.
“It… It feels so good.” He remarked as he slowly pumped all the way into her.
With his dick buried inside her, Shinji leaned on top of her. He kissed her and she tasted herself along with something else, need. Her lover moved his hips back and forth causing his shaft to slowly slide in and out of her as they kissed.
She carefully broke the kiss as he kept his pace. Mana wrapped her arms around him as their wet sound of skin on skin continued to drift into her ears, “I love you.”
Like a fuel to his fire, Shinji’s pelvis collided with hers quicker with each gentle thrust.
“Shinji… I love you.”
He massaged her breasts as he continued to drive his dick into her hungry pussy.
“Don’t… stop.”
“I-I’m coming!” Shinji voiced as he pulled out much to Mana’s dismay.
Before she could even voice that fact, the warm sticky seed of Shinji spurted onto her stomach. She drew two fingers to the substance and placed it in her mouth as Shinji all but collapsed on top of her.
The disappointment in not experiencing another orgasm was easily forgotten seeing that she had plenty of them for now. Mana pulled him deeper into her embrace, “Do you want me to… return the favor?” Hinting at another round of what took place.
“Can we,” he yawned, “just stay like this… for a while?”
“Shinji, where did you learn how to do that?” Mana asked, shuddering at the thought of him licking her again.
“Kensuke leaned me some of his videos… said I needed them.”
She laughed, “I guess you really are a pervert.”
He was too tired to defend himself and decided silence would be the best reply to her accusation.
“But… you’re my pervert,” Mana kissed him on his cheek to prove this point, “I’ll go wherever you are.”
“Mana…”
“I’m taking you back tomorrow so get some sleep,” She smiled despite the fact that he couldn’t see it, “And Shinji…”
She blushed, “Can you come inside me next time…?”
“I love you too…” He finished his statement with a nod as he rested his head on her chest.
She blinked as she recieved his words. With the feeling in her heart becoming warmer, Mana held him closer as she too closed her eyes.
Both of the exhausted lovers fell into a peaceful sleep.
~*~
“Shinji! Get up!” Mana yelled as she threw the earpiece on the floor.
“Leave me alone Asuka…”
Frowning at the mention of other girl, she leaned forward and shook him, “Shinji! We have to go!” She exclaimed as he blinked his eyes.
Sunlight barely found its way into the cabin but it was more than enough to tell that she was fully dressed and about to drag him out of the bed. Mana threw his clothes at him as she clicked the safety off her gun, “Hurry up.”
He did as he was told and was dressed in a matter of minutes. Not having the time to button his shirt, he followed Mana out of the door. Shielding his eyes because of the sudden change from darkness to light, he almost missed what Mana said.
“Someone tripped the wire… they’re here too early,” Mana sighed, “They must have gotten to the driver.”
With one hand firmly on her gun and the other wrapped around Shinji’s hand, Mana started to run and almost pulled Shinji to the ground until he caught up with her pace. They ran through the tall grass and the around the scattered trees until Mana actually fired a shot.
Or that was what Shinji thought.
Mana dropped her gun and fell back into Shinji. Thinking that she simply tripped, Shinji was about to help her back to her feet until he noticed the expanding red stain in her blouse.
She reached up and touched her shoulder just to see if it was what she thought. Reality showed her the truth when she raised her hand in front of her and saw blood.
Despite the disabling pain, a sad smile came to her face. She expected many things to take place because of kidnapping and this was one of them.
Section Two was not aiming to disarm her.
They had orders to kill.
Mana underestimated them and was paying the price. The spy was certain it would take them at least half a day more to even find her. She should have been smarter and took the first chance she had to escape...
Her musing was cut short as several men dressed in black appeared before them. When the agent in front of her held up the gun she wasn’t surprised.
Shinji, on the other hand, was, “What are you doing!!” He screamed as he pulled Mana closer to him, careful not to hurt her injured arm.
The agent lowered the gun, “Restrain the Third Child.”
The other agents did as was said of them. They separated Shinji from the girl he loved. He struggled but it was in vain as another agent opted to assist in holding the pilot back. Although his arms were held, his voice was not.
Shinji watched wide-eyed as the man lifted the pistol again, “Stop! I swear I won’t pilot if you hurt her again! I swear!!”
She was glad.
He was trying to defend her.
With the same hopeless smile on her face, Mana looked directly at the certain death that she faced, “Don’t look Shinji…”
Again he attempted to shake the agents’ hold on him, “Please… she’s already hurt. Please let her go... Please…” He pleaded.
Anything in order to save her... If the agents weren't holding him up, he would have dropped to his knees and begged.
“I’m sorry-“ She never finish the statement.
For a moment, Shinji was senseless. In an unfamiliar darkness, his senses were dulled to the point where he even doubted he still had them. Momentarily, he wondered if he was the one who got shot but this was a thought that proved wrong when all of his senses returned with remarkable precision.
Slowly, two spent bullet casings cascaded through the air and were lost to the tall grass. Daring not to even risk a look at what he feared to see in front of him, Shinji could only glance at the agent who was placing his gun back inside his holster. Even though the ringing in his ear caused by the gunshots didn’t stop, he could hear the agent like he was one of the two restraining him.
“Target silenced.”

Author’s note: Well, my sister got sad when I told her the story…
Not much I can really say for real. I could of backed out from this ending but we all know things wouldn’t just go skip happy after something like a kidnapping took place.
While I liked this chapter, I would be interested in the events to follow. Thought you could see Shinji confronting his father? I can see Shinji torturing Gendo if something like this happened.
Anyway, I think I was alright with Shinji this chapter and hope I was fairly correct with Mana. If anyone was wondering, she’s the female lead of Girlfriend of Steel. She’s kind of the perfect match for Shinji seeing that she is not quite to the extremes that Asuka and Rei are.
Gah… still sad? I am too… but things go wrong on the Nightshift sometimes. ;_;
Mistakes

Gah… still sad? I am too… but things go wrong on the Nightshift sometimes. ;_;
