Milo cried out loudly when he reached his climax clenching his legs around Camus’ waist while he kept moving thrusting inside him until when he too came with a low moan. They laid panting on the bed for a while and Milo held him close to his body wrapping his arms and legs around his trembling figure. Still shaking from the orgasm, Camus lift a hand and cupped Milo’s damp cheek guiding him to his mouth and kissing him. The kiss begun slowly to become more and more desperate with each passing moment until they had to separate both breathless. “…wow…” Milo panted burying a hand into Camus’ long dark blue hair as the other Saint leaned his head onto his chest.
“If we keep doing this we’ll not have any strength left to fight Ares when he comes…” Milo’ s deep chuckle made Camus smile too as he stroked the Scorpio Saint’s sides. “I cannot think of any better way to charge myself.” “You really are something…”
Milo’s pleased smirk dimmed a little as the thought of the imminent war returned to his mind. “I wonder how many of us will survive this war. Maybe we were revived just for this. To fight another holy war and die again.” Camus lift his head to look at him in the eyes.
“It’s what we are here for. Our mission is to protect Athena and the world from anything which could try and destroy it. If we die or live is of marginal importance.” Milo’s gaze saddened and he pushed some damp hair away from Camus’ face. “That is our fate indeed but isn’t it sad? As warriors we are bound to it and should be happy to die for what we love and protect. But as men isn’t it sad to live and die like this ? For something that most of the people aren’t even aware of but can save all the world…” Milo shook his head and sighed. “This is not the moment to talk about this.” Camus placed a kiss above his heart and rose to sit straddling Milo’ s waist. “It’s even true that we fight to our last breath to protect those which we hold dear… I would gladly die to protect you.” “So would I… but then I would not have any wish to live if you are not here with me.” Camus smiled down at him slowly lowering his head to kiss him. “You know that I wouldn’t want that. You should live fully until your hour has come and then we’ll see each other again.” “I don’t like those speeches.” “Me either…”
They stared at each other until when Milo sighed deeply and grasping Camus’ head he closed the distance between them pressing his still bruised lips to Camus’. They kissed for long until when they both recovered and were aroused again and Camus begun slowly swaying his hips caressing Milo’ s erection with his buttocks. They broke the kiss and he gave him a lustful look and rose to sit upright spreading his legs a little more. Milo stared at him as he rose to his knees and then slowly sank down again letting Milo’ s cock slide into him until he was sheathed to the hilt and he was sitting on the other Saint’s lap. He remained immobile panting and staring at Milo’ s flushed face and dilated pupils. “Do you like this…?” He clenched his muscles squeezing Milo within himself and listened pleased to his tormented moan. Milo’ s hands flew to grasp Camus’ waist grasping him in a bruising grip. “Camus…”
The ice Saint begun moving first simply rocking until he was lifting and lowering himself with the same strength with whom Milo pushed him down. They reached their climax togheder and Camus fell laying limp over Milo panting hard and seeing bright spots in his eyes. After a while they calmed down slightly . “Now I’m dead…” “You died a sweet death.” “Then you’ll explain to Shion why I can’t sit on my chair in council.” Milo burst out laughing and he followed until when tears of merriment were running down his face. Camus only snorted and cuddled up to him with a smirk feeling Milo’ s strong arms close around him and he closed his eyes for a quick nap.

Shaka helped Mu laying propped up on some pillows so he could breath better and sat on the side of the bed trying to catch his elusive gaze. They were silent for a while before one of them found something to say.
“I’m sorry I cannot help defending the Temples. I could still do something…” Shaka shook his head scanning his still bruised face. “The only thing you must think about now is to rest and heal. The Temples are all well protected and the Bronzes will stay close to Athena all the time. We are ready to face this.”
A short humourless laugh escaped from Mu’ s lips. “You have no idea what you are going to fight. Ares will come to conquer the Sanctuary. He likes to do the work himself…”
“We’ll fight him like we fought others Gods before. We’ll manage somehow.” The blond’ s gaze fixed on his own hands which lay tangled in his lap. He couldn’t bring himself to talk about what he wanted to and the fact that Mu was avoiding his gaze only made him feel worst. He finally made up his mind and took a deep breath.
“Mu, I’d like to talk about something with you.” Mu’ s voice was barely audible and he tensed up imperceptibly. “About what?” “When they brought you back… the one named Phobos I think, said something but I don’t know if believe him or not…”
“What did he say?”
“Did he… did he force you?” He couldn’t help a sad smile from appearing on his lips at the terms Shaka had used. “I doubt that he used those words…”
A lump formed into Shaka’ s throat feeling him slowly slip away from him “Did he do it?” Mu didn’t answer staring stubbornly anywhere but at him.
“Mu? Look at me?” It took him a while but in the end the Aries Saint finally managed to make eye contact making Shaka cringe at the fear and deep sadness he saw into his lover’s green eyes. “What is it Mu? Why don’t you even look at me anymore?”
Mu’ s fist clenched at that and he couldn’t help but avoid his gaze. He sighed grasping his broken shoulder with his sane hand when it hurt for the tension in his body. “Talk to me, please!”
“I…I betrayed you. I should have fought him more but I couldn’t…He broke my shoulder… I couldn’t move…” Mu was getting agitated and Shaka reached out to him to try and calm him down but his hand froze in midair when he flinched away. They stared at each other for a long moment as if frozen before Mu bowed his head with a sound that was dangerously close to a sob. “I’m sorry…”
Being careful to move slowly he carefully cupped his unwounded cheek leaning his forehead on his lover’s violet hair. His heart clenched feeling him beginning to shake and he hug him burying his hand into his mane. “I’m not angry with you. I love you.” Mu shook his head sniffling hesitantly placing his sane hand at the nape of his neck. “You cannot. I’m…soiled…” Shaka’ s eyes flew open at that and he pulled back lifting his face to stare at him in the eyes. “What?! Is this what you think?!”
Mu’ s eyes darted sideway looking away from him. He couldn’t bear to see such fierce emotions in Shaka’ s usually calm and loving eyes. He didn’t want to see the loathing that there would surely be in his blue orbs. “Listen to me, Mu, and mark my words! I love you and I’ll not let this come between us. I cannot imagine what you went through but you’ll overcome this, I’ll help you to do it but I don’t want to hear you speaking like this anymore, do you understand?! You are not soiled and I love you just as much as I did before you were captured.” “How can you…after knowing what they did? How can you bear to touch me? I’m spoiled goods.”
“What did I just tell you?” He caught Mu’ s hand bringing it to his lips and placing a gentle kiss on the bruised skin. Doing it his eyes never left
Mu’ s ones and he could see the fierce emotions swimming in them. Fear of rejection so deep that it made his heart bleed and a need of help so overwhelming that it tore to his already wounded soul. “I’ll not leave you Mu. I love you too much to loose you. And don’t think that I’d not follow you in Hades’ reign, should you decide you are not fit for this world anymore. I’ll follow you everywhere and bring you back to me.” Mu’ s eyes went big at that. Had he read his mind without him noticing it? No, he was weak but some barriers were still on, he would have felt him intruding. “I…I don’t know what to say…”
Shaka’ s voice was soft when he spoke again. “Did you really think that I would let you go? That my love for you is this much volatile?” Mu shook his head in denial but he couldn’t bring himself to deny it openly. He had had enough time to convince himself of Ares’ words during the hours filled of despair and fear he had spent in the cold dungeons that he had almost come to believe that Shaka would let him down once he knew what had happened to him. Slowly, Shaka cupped his cheek again coming to stare into his eyes from a few inches away caressing the bruised skin lightly with his thumb. “Do you still love me?” “You know I do.” Shaka smiled leaning his forehead against Mu’ s.
“May I kiss you?” “You didn’t need permission the first time you did it…” The blond chuckled at the spark of mirth in Mu’ s voice thinking back to the first time he had pinned the stunned Aries Saint against a column in his Temple and kissed him hard. He had surprised him for they were all used to a calmer and almost cold version of Shaka but in the end they had gotten togheder. He closed the distance between them and carefully placed his lips upon Mu’ s kissing him gently and slowly so to not hurt his still wounded lips. They kissed long and slow and the blond’ s heart missed a beat when he felt Mu’ s hand burying itself into his long hair drawing him closer for a deeper kiss. He welcomed his lover’s tongue into his mouth when he hesitantly asked permission to enter and he let him take dominance of the kiss, for how hesitant he was being. After a while Mu pulled away sighing deeply staring a little shyly at the blond. “I missed doing this…” “Me too…” He placed another soft kiss on his lover’s lips before he looked outside the window. It probably was midday and they still had time before Ares’ attack. Despite everything, they would make it in the end. He was sure of it.

The day passed slowly making everyone tense in expectation of the imminent fight with Ares’ Warriors and everyone waited patiently presiding his own Temple. During the last meeting it had been decided that the Bronze Saints would stay close to Saori at the top temple even despite their protests and that Shion and Kanon would be with them too. They would be the last line of defence in case that all their defences were shattered. Aioria sighed stepping out under the sky staring at the clouds in the rapidly disappearing light of day. He looked at the Temples under and above his own feeling reassured by the cosmos he could feel coming from them. Everyone was at his place, safe for the Aries and the Virgo Temples which were still empty. He smiled recalling the Bronze’s attempt to offer themselves to protect the first Temple and Shion’ s stern refusal. They would be much more useful at the last one and it was his duty, if it was anyone’s, to protect the Aries’ Palace. Unfortunately he didn’t possess a Cloth and since Mu’ s had been destroyed and he couldn’t fight without one, he would stay at the thirteenth Temple. So would Kanon even despite his sound protests.
*Flashback*
Their cries could be heard all over the Pope’s Temple while Kanon followed his twin brother.
“I can fight and I want to fight!! You have no right to force me to stay away from the battle!!”
Saga gazed sternly at his twin brother but Kanon didn’t relent or broke his stare. He would not give up this easily.
“We don’t have a spare Cloth and without that you cannot fight. You’d be slaughtered at the first attack.”
“Not if I attack them first!!”
Saga whirled around grasping Kanon’ s shoulders hard.
“Those are the Pope’s orders. You’ll be the last shield and protect Athena’ s life. What more do you wish for?”
“I want to fight. I could be more useful in one of the lower Temples.”
“You will obey and stay here safe.” He took a deep breath trying to control himself. “I just found you back, why do you want to throw your life away?”
“And you aren’t? They will pass through your Temple. Let me stay there with you at least!”
Saga shook his head staring his twin in the eyes. “Just follow the orders, please. We’ll be togheder again when the battle has ended.”
“Don’t let yourself be killed…”
*End flashback*
***
It came suddenly, like thunder striking on the earth. A cosmo of unimaginable power appeared at the base of the Twelve Temples followed by others, weaker than this one but still powerful enough to make the Sanctuary shake. From the base of the stairway which led to the Aries’ Temple Ares looked up at the Palaces of the Zodiac, Phobos and Deimos at his sides like the other six warriors he had awoken from a millenary sleep. “Here we are again. Just like a millennium ago but this time the Sanctuary will be ours.” He let his cosmo flare to life enough so that he could reach Athena and she startled sitting up straight on the marble throne in the Pope’s palace. The Saints at her side felt it too and went silent staring at their Goddess. She stood staring out of the window and answered her divine brother’s call.
She could hear his laughter through her cosmo but didn’t let herself be scared.
Ares’ smirk grew wider as even Phobos and Deimos chuckled at his side.
Her jaw clenched at that and she locked gaze with Shion. He nodded to her having heard the entire conversation through his cosmo as all the other Saints were doing.
The dark edge of anger was now present in his voice as his gaze shifted on the far, tall clock whose fires were still unlit and a strange gleam appeared into his eyes.
His armoured arm rose pointing to the huge clock and a moment later the twelve fires lit, one after the other, until all of them were shining in the darkness.
Shaka’ s fist slammed against one of the columns reducing it to fragments and he growled angrily hearing the God’s words. “I’ll kill you for this, I swear!!”
Ares turned looking at his Warriors kneeling behind him and scanned them one by one. “You are the best in my army! Go and show those pitiful Saints what a true Warrior is! We’ll conquer the place and gain the leadership of the world instead of having it given to us by some so said superior God!!”
A battle cry rose from the Warriors as they rose and run to the stairs climbing them disappearing inside the first temple. Ares gave them a little vantage before beginning to climb the stairs too, followed by Phobos and Deimos. “I give you permission to go and fight if you wish.”
Phobos looked up at him hopefully while Deimos smiled darkly. “Will it be safe to leave you alone, my Lord?” “I’m not the God of War for anything. Go enjoy yourselves with those Gold Saints.”
The two Warriors bowed to him and broke into a run with matching smirks on their faces. Phobos was the first one to jump on the platform in front of the Temple and stared at the seemingly quiet place. “Do you think he’s here? I won’t mind to give him a good shag again.” Deimos chuckled shaking his head. “They won’t leave him here. He was too much beaten to defend the place and his Goddess doesn’t strike me like one to leave her wounded Saints at the mercy of enemies.” Phobos groaned setting foot inside the Aries Temple. “Pity. I liked him. He was a tight little whore…”
They stopped suddenly on guard when a foreign cosmo flared to life in the Temple and the entrance disappeared behind them. “Illusions…” “And good ones.” They proceeded calmly walking through the huge columns and were not surprised when they felt their fellow Warriors cosmos trapped inside the Temple. “They fell into the trap.” “Should we free them?” “We could still need their help.” Phobos snorted before concentrating his cosmo. “We don’t need them. We are a thousand times better than those weaklings!”
A red halo circled his body as he spread his powerful cosmo to its maximum extent and he swept the illusion away revealing the confused forms of his fellow Warriors. The exit of the Temple appeared and the two powerful Warriors stared mockingly at the group. “Is this all you are able to do? To let yourself be stopped and stuck here at the first Temple? Pathetic…”
A tall Warrior with long red hair and a red-silvery armour stepped forward staring hatefully at the two. “We didn’t ask for your help! Mind your fucking businesses!!” Deimos smirked mockingly when he felt the foreign golden cosmo approach again and engulf the building. “Do it on your own then.” Solid stone walls surrounded them all again and suddenly the entire floor disappeared making the Warriors fall with a cry in a deep dark void. Phobos and Deimos followed them without a word to observe their moves until they all fell into a dark stone chamber. “Whoever is doing them, is good at making illusions. This seems truly real.” Deimos’ hand brushed against the rough wall while the others tried to find a way out and stared at Phobos’ bored face. “If you say so…”
They followed the group when they found a small tunnel and finally found themselves in a desert landscape. The entrance of the tunnel disappeared before they could go back and they found themselves stuck there with no sign of civility in sight. Deimos and Phobos sat on some rocks nearby smirking at the powerful cosmo they felt approaching. A golden halo appeared in front of the group and it got always closer until a figure stood clear in front of them. A voice echoed all around them while the figure got clearer revealing the Virgo Saint’s figure. “Your presence here is defiling this sacred place. I’ll not allow you to proceed any further.” The Warriors attacked the golden figure trying to destroy it but, much to their stupor, their blows only managed to pass through the luminous figure, leaving it untouched. “You cannot defeat me. This is my battle field.” His hand rose and pointed to one of the Warriors in their mist and a golden thread of light pierced the man’s forehead making him fall to the ground, his body limp and abandoned in death.
Shaka’ s arm fell to his side again and the Warriors stared hatefully at him. “His soul is travelling to the world of the dead. Who will be next?” Deimos rose at that walking calmly to stand in front of the group. “I’m the next one, Saint of Virgo. My name is Deimos, God of Terror.” Shaka recognized the name of one of the two sons of Ares and one of Mu’ s jailors. His voice was low and angry when he spoke again. “You…I must assume that Phobos is here too.” “He’s here and eager to reach the top temples.” “I’ll not allow him or any of you to reach past the sixth Temple.” “We’ll see to that…” He launched his attack against the Gold Saint who parried it easily enough but he had to notice that his illusion had been damaged by it. It begun shattering around them and he could do nothing but retire. “I’ll wait you at the sixth Temple. If you are strong enough to arrive there.”
The illusion shattered completely leaving them standing among the huge columns in front of the exit of the Temple. The dead body of the Warrior Shaka had fought laid on the cold stone floor, his dead eyes staring into the empty air, and only a tiny hole in his forehead showed the place where he had been hit. “Let’s go, we have wasted enough time already!” They run away leaving Phobos and Deimos behind as they stared at the fallen fellow with no compassion at all in their red eyes. “He’s strong. And angry. We must be careful while fighting this one.” Phobos huffed moving with the point of his foot the dead body. “We are Gods. We are strong enough to defeat a single stupid human. I like it better this way, the strongest he is the more we enjoy his destruction.” “Then let us continue…” he said turning toward the clock tower and seeing that the first flame, the Aries one, had already burned off. “…we wasted enough time in here.” They broke into a run up the stairs which led to the second Temple.
