# 4.
# 4. Kanon and some Saga. (Angst).
Keywors : sin, lethargic, decadence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That was it, he thought as he felt himself getting more and more lethargic, the blood running down his hands, all the way to his fingertips before dripping down into the warm water of the bathtub in which he was sitting.
Was that a sin? He hoped it wasn’t, afraid it might part them in the afterlife.
But then again, the both of them had already gone so far that they’d probably rot in hell together either way, he thought with a tired chuckle. The idea didn’t seem to scare him as much, surprisingly. He had already seen the Underworld, its tortures and its specters, and you only truly fear what you don’t know.
Besides, Kanon was an inveterate optimist, despite all that happened in his life. If there was such a thing as an optimistic fatalist, he was it.
Either way, he didn’t really believe that this would kill him. Or at least, he still retained some hope that it wouldn’t.
All feelings started to leave his body, slowly at first but then faster. This must be how decadence feels, he mused, his mind wandering aimlessly. In the end of times when the world of men comes crashing down with their hopes and illusions, sinking down all the way to a blessed -- or accursed? – oblivion, will it feel like that?
Hurry up, Saga or you won’t make it on time. Kanon smiled, a sad and lost smile, like that of a child denied of all hope since a far too early age.
This was the only way, but maybe the price to pay was too big.
He closed his eyes right in the moment the door blew to pieces, a breathless Gemini saint rushing in and falling on his knees next to the bathtub, just on time to grab his younger twin’s wrists and hurry to try to stop the bleeding.
But will it be on time?
Perhaps, for there’s still life in the ex-marina’s eyes when they open once again for a brief time, filled with tears.
“You came for me….”

Notes: Don't worry he doesn't dies! ^^/ *lol*
