One Blade, Two Wrists
“Driver, open the window, it’s too hot in here.” Akito yelled from the back seat of the car. The driver complied.
“Driver, close the window it’s too cold in here.” Again the driver did what was asked.
“Driver, get Hatori.” This time the driver stopped the car, turned around and asked.
“Why? What’s wrong? Don’t you want to tease your beloved monster?”
“Kyo, I would never of expected anything so rash of you.” Akito mocked clearly surprised.”
“Well desperate times call for desperate measures.” Kyo retorted. “Oh and by the way your beloved Yuki still lives.”
Akito grimaced as if in pain “Then what do you want with me? The curse is weakening, surly you have noticed the strain of your true form against your beads is less and” He suddenly fell against the front seat, doubled up in pain. Akito started letting out a hacking cough. Kyo lazily threw him a tissue. He had seen these coughing fits before.
They normally went on for a few minutes and then stopped. A dot of red on the tissue caught Kyo’s eye. Akito coughed again and more red dots appeared. Akito started to whine “No not now. I don’t want to die if the last thing I see is that monster. Get Shigure, come here my beloved, I… I don’t want to die alone.” Kyo was starting to get nervous. He raced to the main house as quickly as common sense allowed. As soon as he reached the house, he ran to Hatori’s house with the head of the family in his arms. To Kyo’s surprise Hatori came from Ayame’s house across the way. When Hatori saw Akito in Kyo’s arms he sped up and when he reached them he asked “What’s happened, never mind that just get him inside.”
“I would if the door wasn’t locked” Kyo retorted. Akito who had been coughing in Kyo’s arms gave one last feeble cough and was still. Hatori forgot all about the door and hurried about checking if there was any way to save Akito. Kyo gently placed Akito on the floor as Hatori gave the verdict. Death by liquid in the lungs. Ayame came running out of his house half buttoning his under coat. “Haa-San’s what’s happened?” Kyo then noticed that Hatori wasn’t his usually iron-pressed self. He was missing his tie and… shoes? Kyo gave them both a questioning look. Ayame blushed but looked proud. Hatori looked as cold as he ever did, but whenever his eye’s strayed to Ayame his gaze softened. Well if Yuki’s Nii-San had found a partner with-in the zodiac then Yuki wouldn’t feel like he was breaking any rules. There would be two yaoi couples as well as Isuzu and Haru together.
