Routes 9/10 - Chapter 5

Author’s Note: I was waiting for the story to hit 1,000 hits to post this chapter, and here we are! 1,000 hits! This is a great personal achievement, as this is the first serious fanfiction project I’ve dedicated myself to in a long time. Thanks to everyone that’s been reading thus far, and hopefully you’ve been enjoying the series as much as I’ve been enjoying writing it.

––––––––

The night-time air whipped through Julius’ hair. The breeze kept him aware of his surroundings, even though he had no real need to be alert. He knew what was going to happen since he failed. Still, the description of ‘The Chosen One’ was vague at best, and what little details he had to go on were similarly vague. The small sheet of paper in his hand outlined what details had been discovered so far, and he can’t even begin to count on both hands how many times he’s read those details over, and over, and..

“You’ve failed me.” A voice casts out from the darkness. The only way Julius, who quickly looks up from the sheet of paper, knows that it’s the person that had threatened him into this position is because he can just barely see him in the moonlight. What he did see struck him with curiosity. “What do you have to say for yourself, Julius?” The voice taunted Julius, as if deriving some sort of pleasure from the fact that he was incapable of managing to defeat one beginning trainer. It was more a mix of amusement and impatience.

“Next time. Besides, how was I supposed to know that her Torchic would evolve in mid-battle? She was some no-name girl who forced him to participate in the competition.” Julius speaks, looking over his shoulder. A small fire lights up the immediate area of their little campsite, one empty sleeping bag, another full. It was the girl from before, who had, despite his aggression towards her and the boy in the tournament, decided to follow him. Her blue hair was awkward, to say the least, and the hair splayed out all around her head.

The man moves to take a step forward, then seems to reconsider, standing tall again. “Don’t fail me again. You know how important she is, and now that you’ve found her, you must be more careful to keep her away from the Chosen One.” The man leans a bit to one side, looking past Julius towards the sleeping girl.

“Don’t worry. I’ll get it done next time. I just need to train to make sure that this doesn’t happen again. I’ll have him dead by the end of the week, and I know just the place to do it.” Julius reassures the man.

“I hope, for your sake, that you don’t fail a second time. There will be consequences to future failure, and I can only forgive so many transgressions before my patience begins to wear thin. Have him dead before he leaves Lavender Town, or else.” With that, the man disappears in a flash of blue light, leaving Julius all by his lonesome.

“Then I guess the clock is ticking.”

“I just can’t believe I lost AGAIN.” Kristina whines, once more leaving the large gym. “I don’t see how you can walk into gyms and defeat the leader in only one try. You must be doing something right..”

Nicholas, seated on a bench, tilts his head back towards her voice as she leaves, looking away from his Cleffa, who’s content on riding Aisha’s back, slowly trotting her way after his Weedle, which moves in circles, unable to escape the Absol. It’s an amusing sight indeed, and people that walk by smile and watch.

“I don’t see how you keep losing even with a Pikachu.” Nicholas folds his arms across his chest. “We’ve been here all morning, and if you don’t get it this time, I’m leaving you behind.”

Kristina pokes her tongue out at him. “You won’t leave without me. You know what’ll happen if you do.”

“All too well.”

“Good.” She smiles sweetly, folding her hands together. “Now, let me borrow your Absol..”

Nicholas shakes his head. “No dice.”

“Please?”

“No.”

Kristina whines, and glances back at the doors. “Tell me what to do, at least!”

With a sigh, Nicholas stands up and dusts Absol fur off of the lower areas of his pants, where she’d been rubbing against them earlier. “Use electrical attacks. Just keep using those. Especially if her Staryu or Starmie go into the water. Just keep using electrical attacks.”

“That’s all?” Kristina inquires, looking skeptical.

“That’s all.” Nick replies, slowly moving over to pick up Cleffa from Aisha’s back, moving back to the bench and sitting down, working some Pokemon food out of his backpack. “Of course, there’s more to it than that. If you see an attack coming, have your Pikachu avoid it. Pikachu are fast, but Staryu are, too.”

Kristina nods and, without another word, she stomps right back into the Gym.

––––––––

“That’s her?”

“Yeah. That’s the kid that won the doubles competition here. With her Torchic.”

“It evolved into a Combusken.”

“Impressive. Now she’s trying to get her Cascade Badge?”

“Yes. This is her third try now. I think she might be successful this time around.”

A chuckle. “There’s only one reason, and that’s because the male she’s with seems to have a greater knowledge of Pokemon in general.”

“True. Still, we’ve got other things to worry about.”

“I can’t help but feel that there’s something different about those two.”

“Jeez, you say that about EVERY trainer we get the chance to examine.”

“Alright, alright. You don’t need to be so critical. Let’s go, then.”

––––––––

“Yes! I’ve got my Cascade Badge!” Kristina smiles, proudly showing off the shiny blue badge right next to the rocky brown colored Boulder Badge. She snaps it shut, putting it safely in her backpack with her other things.

“Congratulations.” Nicholas smiles, clapping his hands and moving to a stand. “Though, I have to admit, that could have gone by a lot quicker..” He grins playfully.

Kristina snorts softly, and nudges him with her elbow as she wanders past. “Shut up. I’m trying my hardest here, Mister I Went To Pokemon Academy.”

Nick shrugs helplessly, returning his Cleffa and Weedle to their respective Pokeballs. “Well, that goes without saying. You should try your hardest at everything you’re serious about.”

“I’m new to this.” Is all Kristina says in reply as she steps past him. Nicholas hums, quickly jogging to follow her as she lead them both east, out of Cerulean City. The route ahead of them wasn’t long, but another cavern. Rock Tunnel was an exponentially shorter cave, at least compared to the likes of the winding Mt. Moon they’d traveled through previously, and wasn’t about to cause them any difficulty.

“I’m sick of caves, and we’ve only been in the one in Mt. Moon..” Kristina sighs, glancing about slowly. Stalagmites hang up from the floor in various places, but the ceiling is almost covered completely in stalactites, which hang down, dripping water slowly down them and onto the ground. The sheer amount of water on the ground, walls and ceiling makes the cave far more humid, not to mention colder.

Despite the water and cold, the caverns thrive with life: Geodudes fake being boulders to avoid being awoken by trainers, and Zubat hang from the nooks and crannies of the ceiling, using echolocation to find their way here and there. None of them made a move to leave the caves, as daylight still dominated outside, and evening was their time to feed. It was all about waiting.

“I hear you can find Machop here. I think I might want one.” Kristina murmurs softly, looking over at him. “What about you? You should catch one, Nick. I bet it would compliment your team well.” She smiles.

Nicholas glances over at her. “I don’t know. I’ve got this thing about Fighting-types..”

“Oh. Did you have a bad experience involving a Hitmonchan?” Kristina smirks, glancing over at him slyly. “Or was it..?”

“Well, no. It’s a lot simpler. My dad raises Fighting-type Pokemon. In fact, I think it might be safe to say that he’s completely obsessed with them. If I actually caught one and used it, word would get around, and he’d probably give me a hard time about it. I told him I didn’t want any.” Nick chuckles sheepishly, stopping when Kristina does suddenly. He turns his head and, sure enough, a gray-skinned Machop is standing there, looking as though he’s finished a portion of his training. He’s seated, eyes half-shut. This one seems a little bigger than normal Machop, but it’s difficult to tell at first glance, let alone without another Machop to compare it to.

“Awesome, and he’s tired, too! So, who gets him?” Kristina inquires quietly, glancing over at Nicholas.

“I might as well. Machop are solid Pokemon, and I could really use one, anyway, despite the flak I’m going to get. Weedle, go!” Nicholas calls, enlarging one of the Pokeballs from his belt and tossing it out, letting it hit the ground, releasing the familiar yellow bug in a blaze of red light. The Weedle turns towards its adversary, the Machop, who looks back at it curiously. “While it’s resting, surprise it! String Shot to slow it down!”

A burst of white, string-like webbing bursts forth from the Weedle’s mouth, encircling the legs of the Machop. It blinks in surprise and quickly moves to a stand, but by that point, it’s too late. The Machop wobbles forward and falls flat on its face. Kristina cringes in response, shaking her head. “Even I felt that one..”

Despite having its legs immobile, the Machop hops up onto its hands and quickly begins to bridge the gap between itself and the Weedle. “Shit. Weedle, Poison Sting, but aim low!” Complying, the Weedle releases a burst of tiny little purple stingers, which… all miss. The Machop pushes himself into the air by his hands, landing on the Weedle before it can squirm out of the way.

Now that the distance is bridged, the Machop begins to hammer furiously at the Weedle. “Nicholas, call back your Weedle before that thing kills it! What were you thinking?!”

“Shut up! I’m trying, but he’s in the way. Damn it..” Nick quickly moves forward, the Machop turning in mid punch to aim a fierce one right for the gut of the approaching trainer. The punch is stronger than it looks, and almost causes whiplash, sending Nicholas rolling back away. “… This is just not my week.” He murmurs, carefully making his way to a stand, only to find a flying, half-white Machop leaping in his direction.

Long before the Machop even gets to Nick, he’s tagged by a bunch of small, purple needles, though the creature that uses them is no longer spiky. Still yellow, a Kakuna stands where once a Weedle did, staring down the Machop. The Machop rolls, pushing himself back up to a stand. “Kakuna!”

“Maaachop!” Now stuck with needles, half-immobilized, the Machop tears at the string on his legs. With it having weakened by now, nothing stops it from turning to the Kakuna, who had successfully earned the Machop’s enmity. A fierce punch sends the Kakuna flying, where it quickly dashes after it again. Kakuna bounces along the damp ground, trying its hardest to avoid continued assault from the Machop, but with little success.

“Not this time.” Nicholas murmurs, enlarging an empty Pokeball, and giving it a good, hard toss in the direction of the Machop. Hard to miss in such close quarters, the red flare of light signaling that Nick had scored a direct hit just before the second punch could be landed. Landing on the ground, the Pokeball begins to shake, but Nicholas wastes no time in recalling his newly evolved Kakuna to its Pokeball.

“Will it work..?” Kristina inquires, quickly moving closer to the Pokeball as Nicholas does. Sure enough, the Pokeball lets off a soft *DING* and click, signifying that the Pokemon had been caught. With a sigh, Nicholas leans down to pick up his Pokeball. “Sorry to worry you like that.”

Kristina shakes her head slowly. “Don’t worry about it. I just never thought..”

“Neither did I. That Machop must’ve been the strongest one in the vicinity, so it was probably pretty territorial.” Nicholas murmurs, shrinking the Pokeball and placing it on his belt along with the others. “So far, not bad, I guess. Aisha..” He smiles at the Absol, who looks curious, sniffing at the Pokeball that now housed the exhausted Machop. “Now a Machop, Kakuna, and Cleffa.”

Kristina smiles warily. “Let’s get out of here before we meet any other Machop, okay..?”

––––––––

Right outside the cavern, three smokestacks make themselves visible, with one taller tower visible further in the distance. The Power Plant, normally nestled away where most trainers can’t get to it, has a path to it now: trees, rocks and mountain had been done away with to allow trainers and employees alike faster access to both the waters outside the Power Plant, and the Power Plant itself.

“Huh. I’ve always wondered what it looked like inside a power plant..” Kristina murmurs softly, looking over towards the branching path, away from the immediate southern one they had to take to Lavender Town. “Can we go?”

Nick tilts his head to look over towards the path, and he quirks an eyebrow. “Do we really have to..?”

“It would be cool to see how a Power Plant works!” Kristina smiles, quickly turning to take that eastern path. With a sigh, Nicholas turns and jogs after her to catch up.

“Only if we don’t take long.”

––––––––

The actual Power Plant itself had very few employees working at it. It didn’t seem as though the place, newly recovered and operational once more, required much manpower to run, though the amount of Voltorb and Electrode were ‘shockingly’ high, and Nick couldn’t help but examine each new Electric-type with his Pokedex. Pikachu and Magnemite are plentiful here, though not particularly welcome, and so tend to sneak inside to bask in the electricity produced.

~*“Electrode, the Ball Pokemon. Stores electricity in large amounts under immense pressure, which it uses to roll at high speeds. Often found in or around Power Plants, but are often used to generate electricity themselves by rolling around a flat track, but are prone to exploding violently.”*~

The Power Plant was clean, and well maintained. The employees there were pleased to give two trainers a quick tour, hoping that they’d take a few of the pesky Electric-types that were haunting the halls. Didn’t seem as though neither of them wanted any, but the employees appreciated the change of pace nonetheless.

“I’m not sure if I want one of those.” Nicholas murmurs, shaking his head slowly. “Have we seen everything that we need to see here?”

Kristina also shakes her head, smiling. “Well, we’re going to camp out here tonight.”

“Why?”

“Well, we’re close to the water, so I can let my Magikarp out to swim, and besides, why would you want to stay in Lavender Town overnight? I visited there once with my father, and that place gave me the creeps..” Kristina shivers, clearly at the thought of being there for just one night.

Nick rubs the back of his head, holding the door to the Power Plant open for her. “Fair enough. But let’s camp far enough away from the Power Plant that there’s not a constant buzzing, okay?”

“Okay.”

––––––––

With tent set up, it was time to relax and set a fire. Having his Machop gather wood (to which it does begrudgingly), Kristina’s Combusken lights the kindle and sticks on fire, giving them their campfire for the night, just in time, as the sun begins to set. With the Power Plant at a suitable distance, everyone was satisfied.

“Alright, it’s time to come out, Magikarp.” Kristina smiles, releasing the Pokeball. It pops open with a burst of red light, but what comes out is brighter. With the sun glancing off its scales, it’s difficult to even see that it’s a Magikarp. The normally useless Pokemon flails around out of the water, far different from its brethren.

“Kristina… that Magikarp you bought was shiny?! Why didn’t you say anything?” Nicholas inquires, slowly moving over to pick up the flailing gold Magikarp and tossing it into the water, where it slowly gets acquainted, swimming back and forth in what one can assume is glee, but it’s hard to tell. It doesn’t change facial features much.

Kristina shakes her head. “I never knew. I just bought one from the guy.” Then, she smirks to herself. “I bet that guy running that scam must’ve been pissed something fierce when he realized that shiny Magikarp he caught, he put in with the regular ones.”

“Should have kept a sticker on it or something so he could tell it apart. His loss, your gain. I mean, it’s useless, but… wow. I haven’t seen a shiny Pokemon except in picture books. I’m envious, suffice to say.” Nicholas murmurs, slowly moving to a sit near the fire, and Aisha.

“You can have him if you want.” Kristina offers with a smile. “You’d know how to train him better.”

Nick smirks. “But you have to learn how to train /better/, and that’s the only reason why I’m letting you keep it. If we find another shiny Pokemon, IF we find one, it’s mine.” There’s a short pause, before he continues. “Hey, so, while it’s light out, why don’t we take a dip?”

Kristina glances at the water, and frowns. “I wish I could, but I don’t have my swimsuit..”

“Since when did you need a swimsuit? C’mon. Let’s go skinny dipping.” Nick chuckles, standing and moving to work his clothes off. Unlike her, he’d brought swimming trunks with him, but he was content with just leaving them in his backpack for now. Besides, who would see them?

“Skinny dipping? I don’t know, I..”

Nick glances back at her as he releases his Pokemon to enjoy the fire as they swim. “After last night, I figured you wouldn’t be so embarrassed.”

“Fine, fine. I’ll come swim with you.” Kristina huffs, slowly working her shirt off.

––––––––

Now with the both of them naked, enjoying the clear, calm waters, the Pokemon that wanted to swim found themselves swimming in the water, while others stayed on shore. Namely, Cleffa, Kakuna, Combusken, Eevee and Pikachu. The Pokemon watch longingly as Nicholas, Kristina, Magikarp, Machop and Aisha all partake of the cool waters, but do their best to enjoy themselves in the meanwhile.

With the sun setting, it casts a romantic red glow down on their surroundings, to which Kristina uses to maximum effect, swimming up closer to Aisha and Nicholas. “You know, I’ve been thinking..” She murmurs. “About last night..”

Nicholas glances over at her. “Yeah? What about it?”

“I want to enjoy that sort of thing again tonight.” Kristina offers to him, gently wrapping her arms around his waist. “Would that be… umm..”

Clearing his throat, Nick rubs the back of his neck. Aisha glances between the two of them slowly, and his attention turns to her. “You know that I’ll have to… mate Aisha later tonight, though, right? That doesn’t bug you?”

“Well, no. I’ve come to terms with that, and I know I’ll have you all to myself once she’s-“

“Wait a second, it’s not like we’re in a relationship. Take it slowly, will you?” Nicholas warns her, but wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her closer to him when she tries to swim away. “Listen, what I mean is that this is all kind of sudden. We’ve barely known each other a week, and now you can barely keep yourself off me. That doesn’t strike you as… I don’t know… awkward?”

Kristina shivers when she feels his strong arms pull her back to him, and she leans into him, wrapping her legs around his waist. “Y-yeah. I know it’s lust, I just used the wrong words.” She could feel his erection growing against her ass, and she grinds her body gently against it, gasping softly when she feels the heated flesh against her sensitive folds.

“Mmm… okay, I just… wanted to make sure that you were awa… ahh..! Don’t you think we should use a condom this time?” Nicholas inquires, but he’s answered by a tight, wet sheath of flesh surrounding his cock. She was on fire, much hotter than the cool water around them.

“Does that answer your question?” Kristina inquires, smiling softly. “Besides, I can’t get pregnant.”

“Really?” Nicholas inquires. He considers asking why, but now’s not the time, nor the place. Right now, she’s grinding and squirming in his arms, just kind of taking the helm as he stands for them. Aisha slowly makes her way towards shore, moving to lay out on the dry grass and dry off, watching the two do their act quietly. She’s well aware by this point what they’re doing.

“Y-yes… so, I want you to give me everything. Last night, when you came inside me.. It was the hottest thing I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I want to feel that agaiiiinnnn..!” Kristina cries, throwing her head back as she cums around his cock, growling and leaning her head back against Nick’s chest, wrapping her arms around him tightly.

The Pokemon at the shore turn their heads and look out towards the two. Magikarp swims on, blissfully unaware (or uncaring) of the two humans engaging in intercourse only feet away.

“You must be sensitive as hell..” Nicholas murmurs, reaching a finger down into the water to rub her clit softly. This elicits another squeak, making her kiss and nibble at his neck. “No, no… please, no, not so… not so early… yes..! Oh, my..” She gasps, suddenly cumming a second time around his cock. “I just can’t… this is nothing like masturbating… you are just… it’s so easy to get addicted to you like this..”

“Haven’t you already?” Nicholas smiles.

Without much warning, she gently pushes off of him, pushing him back towards the shallows. She pushes him gently back to lay down, slowly moving to reach down and grab his shaft by the base, gently settling down on it. “Let me do the work this time. Oh, God..” Just the feeling, the heat of his shaft so deep inside of her, filling her where nothing had done so before, is more than enough to set her off into climax. She’s barely coherent enough during climax to continue short, hopping thrusts, keeping him deep inside her.

‘She’s so sensitive. This is way more different than I’m used to..’ Nicholas thinks, closing his eyes and just enjoying it when she finally works up the energy to really thrust at him. ‘She must still haven’t gotten used to me yet.’

The Pokemon, now getting a better look, observe quietly as the two humans mate. They glance between each other, then back towards the two, unable to look away.

Climax after climax wracks her body, and it amazes Nicholas that she’s not ready to pass out, but she keeps going, trying her hardest to get him to cum. With Kristina’s gaze fixed on him, she leans forward to kiss him, getting lost in that kiss, fucking him for everything she has. Nick’s hands reach around, grabbing her ass, helping her thrust at a pace not so erratic, with her legs shaking from constant orgasm.

It’s not until she finally buries his cock deep inside him, sitting on him, that she takes a break, panting heavily into his ear as she keeps him inside her. Nicholas nuzzles her neck softly. “Want me to take over?”

“Yes, please. My legs are shaking too much..” Kristina whimpers, slowly sliding off of him, and moving to lay down where he had been laying. He slowly moves over, kneeling down between her legs, and lifting her ass up. He slides right back into her, forcing her to cry out in pleasure. She’s so slick with juices, Nicholas has very little trouble starting at a hard, fast pace.

Kristina’s arms wrap around his neck, holding her down over him as he fucks her, making her cry out with each thrust, what parts of her body pulling up out of the water dripping it right back down. Just seeing her body wet like that is sensual, even erotic, and it forces Nicholas closer to climax.

“I’m getting close, Kristina..” Nicholas whispers softly to her, which immediately causes her to cry softly into his ear and go into what he can only guess is nearly her eighth major climax. Her body wracked with pleasure, she can only gasp and whisper softly into his ear.

“Yes… Nicholas, cum, deep inside me. Please… please, fill me up!” Kristina whispers to him, making him fuck her harder, faster. “God, no… no, please, not again… I can’t… I… Oh, GOD!” She cries, achieving climax again just as he does. She can feel him twitch inside her, shooting load after load of hot, thick seed deep inside of her. Filling her up again like she never thought possible.

“Nicholas…!”

“Kristina!”

––––––––

With all of the Pokemon away in their Pokeballs, night came, and with it, Aisha’s heat. That watered down, honey-like smell wafts through the camp slowly, awakening Nicholas from his half-sleep, still naked, having been trying to dry off near the fire. He sits up, glancing over at his Absol, who stares back at him. A quick glance at Kristina affords a glimpse of her asleep in his tent, and he slowly crawls forward towards Aisha.

The Absol slowly climbs onto her feet, and almost seems content as she turns her back to him. Just the smell now, just the thought, gets him hard. He gently sets the head of his cock against her sopping wet folds, pushing deep inside of his Absol. She cries her name softly in pleasure, anticipation finally over, feeling her master fill her with that thick shaft of his. It was a feeling she’d not likely forget anytime soon.

But this time was different. This time, Nicholas took her at a slow, deep speed. The pace deliberate, she shivers and glances back at him, almost expecting him to take her like an Absol would. She licks her lips, and watches, waiting. When it never comes, she grunts and steps forward out of his grasp. Nick blinks in surprise. “What, you don’t like it slow..?”

Apparently not. Aisha gently headbutts him in the chest, pushing him back onto his back, where she moves to put her weight on him. It’s a repeat performance of their first night of intercourse. Just as last time, he needed to push the head of his cock to her entrance, but she had no trouble with the details of this position once he was inside her, thrusting down hard and fast onto her master’s hard cock.

––––––––

Of course, it wasn’t long before Kristina would awaken, watching what was happening between both Pokemon and trainer. She was curious… she wanted to know exactly what it felt like. Sure, he’d given it to her like he did Aisha, but this was different. The still-naked Kristina quietly moves to a stand, and out towards the forest. Maybe she could find out the gender of her Combusken and get it to indulge itself.

Seeing as that was a bit of a risk, not to mention awkward, she decided to take it none the less. Soon, though, she realizes.. “My clothes are back at camp. Damn..”

She wouldn’t need her things. Hearing a rustle, she turns just in time to see a large Sandslash. The Pokemon, rare for the area which was normally occupied with just Sandshrew, was likely the alpha male of this territory. It looks at her curiously, though, especially when she slowly moves onto her hands and knees, and presented herself to him.

‘Just like Aisha does, just wait for him to..’ “Oh my God!” She cries softly when the Sandslash doesn’t hesitate to take the offering. She feels a modestly thick, long shaft pierce her folds, and it’s all she can do to hang on to the grass as the power of each thrust forces her body to buck forwards. It’s an experience she’s more than glad she had, as she feels her first climax wrack her body.

Kristina feels the first spray of cum deep inside her belly, and she shivers, gasping softly in pleasure. When the Sandslash seems to rest, she figures she’ll just let it wander away, since it’s done. She doesn’t expect it to start again, a pleasant surprise as she gasps in pleasure, trying not to be too loud as the Sandslash releases copious amounts of cum deep inside her, feeling the hot liquid travel down her legs as he thrusts, pulling out some of it.

––––––––

Nicholas licks his lips. That incredible climax was more than enough to sate both trainer and Pokemon, who slowly moves to curl up next to him. Who needs a sleeping bag? He smiles and gently pets Aisha as she sleeps, glancing over slowly towards Kristina’s bag. Once he finds it empty, he blinks. ‘Hope I didn’t wake her up… though I guess if I had, she’d probably be masturbating..’

But the truth is far from that, the exhausted Kristina slowly making her way out of the forest. Having cleaned up prior to returning, she doesn’t look much different, just tired. “Hey, Nick. Did you finish with Aisha..?”

“Oh, so you did see. Yeah. Where’d you go?”

“Had to use the bathroom.” Kristina lies with a smile, slowly moving to lay down. Content, satisfied that she’d explored that deep, dark fantasy, now knowing what Nicholas derived from it. Next time, she’d try it with a different Pokemon..

Tomorrow, they’d be in Lavender Town. Not for long, she hoped..
