Pokegirls - The Chessgame

Woah. I wrote this chapter, and looking back at it, it\'s all dialogue, which i suppose is ok. I apoligize to those of you who don\'t enjoy this part, but it is important to the story as it sets up the framework for what will happen. And trust me, what\'s gonna happen is gonna fucking blow your mind. I\'m gonna have so much fun writing this shit once i get the characters to the city. It\'s gonna be a fucking BLAST.



To those of you who didn\'t like this chapter because it sounds like military shit, that\'s your problem. This fic is going to be very battle heavy, very tactical. That\'s what i enjoy reading, that\'s what i want to write. (Someday, I dream of being able to write the same genre as Tom Clancy -- Ghost Recon FTW!!!)



Strategy rules the world. And this particular strategy which i came up with, was all made from previous military knowledge of battles, but mainly soccer, in which you have to be very fit because the average soccer (excuse me, i meant football, hem hem) player runs something like 4 to 4.5 miles in a game just through average playing.

Asuna stood over Hyoue, who was sitting down, with her hands on her legs, panting lightly. The look in her eyes (did I mention that they’re red too?) was murder, and obviously Hyoue was a bit put off in that respect. Hyoue was saying something important.

“…And while you were running, I was packing up. We’re ready to go now, we can make some travel, but right now, I think exercise is more important. I already had a plan before I began, and now it is time to implement it. You are just the unlucky loser!” Hyoue said this with a winning smile on his face, trying to put off that face that so said death to him. Well, at least she hadn’t not ran, or complained. This was fine, as things went, anyways. “So anywhooo… Stamina is very important. I was talking about it before, and I need to explain it better now. You see, as a ‘girl, you might get in some fighting, and you are average size so you aren’t puny by any means, but you’re definitely no powerhouse. I have drawn up in my mind the attacks you are capable of, although you should already know what you can do...” Hyoue paused here to think of how he could put this lightly. “According to my information and what I think you can do, I would say it’s fairly sure that in a CQC (close quarters combat) situation, you have relatively no chance.” Hyoue paused. At this point he raised his voice a bit, saying, “According to my sources, you are capable of using various poison type attacks, as well as levitation, mystic bolt, and shield. I suppose that that is fine, but it allows for very little ability in CQC.” He paused once more, at which point he scooted back a bit and motioned for Asuna to sit down as well, which she did, civilly if not exactly gracefully. “I’m hoping you know several poison type moves that I was taught in school, because then I can draw up a strategy for your fighting. You see, with your poison, you have the potential to poison the enemy! That’s very useful.” At this point Hyoue smiled enthusiastically, and Asuna blushed quietly.

He continued on. “Stamina is key to your strategy. If I can turn you back into somewhat of a scout, using hit and run tactics, and using poison to slow, and hurt the enemy, you can draw out a battle, and with your increased stamina, last longer.” Hyoue closed his eyes, visualizing a field, and on it, two opponents. “You are in a fight. Another girl, let’s say a very good CQC fighter is your enemy. Amachop. That’s your enemy. Now, this girl is gonna be a hell of a lot better at fighting than you, that’s just a fact. But. B_U_T. She won’t have the speed or stamina, key word being stamina, to keep up with you. So you use spice, or Poison mist or needleshot, right there in the beginning. With both of you being in semi-CQC, perhaps in a break, you can easily inflict a poisoned status on the other guy. So now she’s poisoned, and you’re not. She’s better in CQC, but what is your incentive to fight CQC? Run away! With the opponent poisoned, an attempt to follow will just lead in her becoming more and more run down, while you breathe easy and free. Get up to a point where the enemy can’t see you, and all you have to do from that point is use Guerrilla Tactics to run down the enemy. Now you have a panting, poisoned enemy, he’s got maybe 50 % life force left to fight with and you have maybe 90% left. Keep taking pot shots, and you can get it even lower! All you have to do is run down the enemy enough so that you can easily finish off your opponent in one solid strike. Not to mention that if you run down your opponent like such, you’ll find openings much easier to come by. It’s almost a perfect strategy!” Hyoue broke off, breathing heavily from his long monologue. Maybe he did have what it took to become a good field commander one day.

“There are a few problems with the strategy, and those are problems that will have to be addressed. I will turn you into a killing machine, have no doubt. But if you fight using the Anti-CQC strategy, that’s what we’ll call it, and then you can no doubt win. Almost 90% of your battles with opponents from lower to slightly higher levels than you. But it will have weaknesses. The strategy requires that you know moves like spice and definitely poison mist. Poison mist is almost a perfect move for the strategy seeing as it has such high levels of contamination and is good in early CQC battle. It also requires that you have the finesse and speed to outrun your enemy, keep outrunning them, and then be able to stop, catch your breath, and keep running again. That, Asuna, is called stamina. And that is why I plan to build up your stamina. Right now, on a scale from one to 100, where 100 is maybe a Rapitaur, and 1 is maybe a snorlass. I would put you somewhere at 20, which is about average, which is fine, but not good enough for what you need to be. By the time you are ready to fight other ‘girls, you at least need to be 40, and by the time you become lethal, I expect you to be 70 or 80. Therefore, every morning, after you get up, you will run however far I assign you, however fast I assign you, until you have the stamina to run from here back to the city without stopping. Then we will practice sprint-stopping, in which you sprint from short locations to short locations. The sprint stopping is important, because you will likely be sprinting from hiding place to hiding place when fighting Anti-CQC.” Hyoue took a peek at Asuna as he said this, trying to find out whether she was angry or resigned. He needed her to do this, because with it, she could successfully fight. And he wanted to breed a very strong team of fighters… Strong enough to take down several gyms for sure. He looked back at the ground. “Other problems. Well, you probably will be much more effective on terrain that you know, because finding hiding spots will be easier. On the subject of terrain, you will also likely have problems with terrain that is flat, like this terrain, where there is nowhere to hide. That will be a problem. And finally, for you to pull this off, you’ll need to learn some method of attacking in which you can attack from loooong distances.” Hyoue breathed deeply, through his nose and out his mouth, and finally shut up.

Asuna, by now, had her breath long back, and was ready to go. Hyoue could tell this. So he made one last simple statement, saying, “Is this acceptable? Will you do this?”

Asuna nodded weakly.

“Good. Let’s go then, we have places to go, and people to see.”

BUZZBREAST, the Swarm Warrior Pokegirl

Buzzbreasts were one of the soldier Pokégirls Sukebe created during the Revenge War. Easy to make and considered expendable, they became one of the most commonplace Pokégirls in existence upon War’s end. Once the War was over, Buzzbreasts took to the wild and became known as the first Pokégirl pests, due to their tendency to swarm people and other Pokégirls invading their territory, carrying them off to be converted into new swarm mates. They were fairly easy to drive off with various bug sprays, however, so their threat level was never upgraded to beyond ‘pesky.’ They also became a mostly favored prey animal for more powerful Feral Pokégirls, as they were fairly easy to catch.

Buzzbreasts are a bit more attractive than their rarer cousins, the Wasps, having very feminine faces, curvaceous bodies with C-Cup breasts, and hair that’s usually striped black and yellow, or in some cases, lavender. They have light chitinous armor on their arms, legs, and torsos, mainly around the underside of their breasts. They have long, gossamer wings that are surprisingly durable, and have a stinger tail on their backs, the stinger a hollow pointed tip that cannot be retracted. Unlike the stinger of a normal bee, the tail stinger of a Buzzbreast can be used repeatedly without being fatal. A Buzzbreast’s internal structure is more insectile, and her major organs are protected by a thick chitinous shell that protects her from most normal blade or bullet damage. Their eyes are compound, and they have stingers mounted in their breasts in a hollow, flexible tube just above their nipples. This makes any sexplay involving their breasts risky, but some Tamers enjoy the challenge. Buzzbreasts are generally favored by beginning Tamers as they are easy to catch and train (provided one can get away from the swarm after catching one). Their threat level upgrades somewhat when the Buzzqueen enters her ‘heat,’ signifying the beginning of her Mating Season, as they become more ferocious in battle, and more inclined to attack.

Buzzbreasts have no sense of individuality, their mind little more than a drone for their hive. Their will is that of their ‘Queen,’ be it a Tamer and an Alpha Pokégirl or a Buzzqueen. However due to this lack of will, they are easy to gain the loyalty of once Tamed. When solidly bonded to a ‘Queen’ and ‘hive,’ however, they become ferociously loyal and are hard to turn. During Mao Shin Mao’s attacks, several Buzzbreasts that could not be turned back towards loyalty from Pokégirls only were assassinated. Some Buzzbreasts, if separated from the hive long enough, do begin to grow in intelligence and gain a will and personality of their own.

In the wild, Buzzbreasts reproduce by finding a Pokégirl or human that is alone or has come too close to the hive, using their Stop Sting to immobilize them or, failing that, entice them back with their Honey, and then bringing him/her back to the hive. The Buzzqueen then forms a cocoon around the victim and places it in her chamber, the chemicals inside the cocoon turning the victim into a Buzzbreast drone within a few weeks time. Buzzbreast Pokégirls or Pokéwomen cannot have kits of their own unless they evolve to Buzzqueen.

Buzzbreasts have a small variety of abilities. While not inherently poisonous, like their species-cousins, the Wasps, they do have the ability to emit venoms of varying status effects, such as Silence or Berserk. They also can generate the various ‘Honey’ techniques, although these aren’t used as much by Ferals. They can also, after collecting enough pollen, generate a sticky wax on their limbs, which they use to maintain and build their hives, as well as trap potential victims for their ‘Queen.’

Thresholding into a Buzzbreast is extremely rare, due to the nature of how they are formed, but not unheard of. The first sign that a girl is Thresholding into a Buzzbreast is that they stop questioning anything they are told.
