This is a work of fiction. I don't own pokemon. Don't sue me. I'm not making money here. The character Angel is mine. Thank you.
Gunning
"Hey Oak!" Angel spoke, into the TV guided phone center in the Mahogany Pokemon Center. The professor looked a little frazzled.
"Angel, just who I needed to talk to. I have good news, and bad news. The good news is, I\'ve discovered what\'s the matter with Moonlight." Angel\'s eyes lit up as Oak spoke. "There is a town called Orre; a while back, they had an outbreak of what they called \'shadow pokemon\'. Now, those pokemon were made that way by a machine, and it worked kind of like a psychological disorder would in humans. With therapy and effort, they were brought back into normal. This comes to the bad news. Moonlight\'s issue wasn\'t caused by a machine; it seems to be naturally induced, either by breeding, an allergen, or something I\'m not sure of. That means that I have no idea when or how to bring down Moonlight\'s dark nature, or even if it\'s possible. What is for sure though, is that he does need to be with a trainer and to be used. So, I\'m going to highly recommend that you use Moonlight, but insist that you use some kind of control, or restraint system like a shock collar. I\'ve added one on. Otherwise, you might end up with another situation like with Gary\'s Umbreon, or worse. The controller and it\'s instructions are in your PC box. But uh, what did you phone for?"
Angel smiled lightly. "Exactly what you started talking about. I guess I have perfect timing then, huh? I will keep you in tune with what happens with Moonlight." she replied, lifting a finger to hit the end key.
"Actually," Oak spoke quickly, catching Angel just in time. "The collar I\'ve put on will record his bio stats, and chemical elevations and other data I will need to know of when he does become violent, or even if his mood changes slightly. All you\'ll have to do is take out the memory card, and insert it in a phone PC reader when you call me next..."
"Sounds easy enough. Thanks Oak!" Angel replied, hitting the end key on the phone call. With a bounce in her step, Angel skitted over to the PC aside the healing desk. Gary shuffled silently along behind her, keeping his concerned thoughts and comments to himself. Angel was changing; in the last few days, her spirit was growing darker. She was still her happy, radiant self on the outside; but her words and eyes were growing darker by the day. How was she supposed to snap an evil pokemon from his ways if she herself was growing dark? In any case, it wasn\'t his place, really, to make those comments. Now, if he were ASKED about it, then he might share his thoughts on the matter. As long as he had some form of a barrier between them.
"Yay!" Angel exclaimed, placing Moonlight back on her belt in his usual spot. "Lets go, Gary! Let\'s talk some sense into these rockets! First, we need to page a certain Cockney..."

AN: I promise the short chapters will evolve into long ones soon...
