It's Not How You Start Out...

Two and a half months later…………….

Nami sat on the bed in her gynecologist’s office waiting for him to check her. She’d been feeling sick, and feeling horribly bloated lately. Her belly was poking out and she was having painful cramps when it wasn’t time for her period. Thank goodness she’d gotten it last month and this month too. That meant she wouldn’t have any lingering surprises from that night that had turned sour with the stud for hire. She hadn’t even been able to admit what happened to Robin because she’d had nothing to say. She didn’t know what had happened to make him change on her so it was best to keep silent. Robin had figured out something had gone wrong but since she was talking and bleeding everything was cool.

The doctor came in and put her chart on the counter then turned to face her. He was a dark haired pleasant faced man named Dr. Kakarot and she’d been seeing him for years.

“Hello Nami.”

“Hi Dr. Kakarot. How are you?”

“I’m fine but apparently you’re not. Please explain to me what’s going on and we’ll see if we can get to the bottom of this.”

“I’ve been having pains in my lower belly and I’ve been feeling sick.”

“Like nausea?”

“Yes and I’m always so tired.”

“I see. That makes sense because you’re pregnant.”

“WHAT!”

Dr. Kakarot blinked. That had been loud. “You’re pregnant Nami.”

“But I can’t be! I’ve been getting my period every month!”

“Have your cycles been light?”

“Yes, very light, lasting no more than three days but that happens every time my cycle changes.”

“The tests are positive and there’s no mistake. It’s not uncommon for a woman to bleed while she’s pregnant for the first couple of months.”

“Oh, well then I’m going to have to think about this.” Her expression told him exactly what she was thinking about.

Dr. Kakarot cleared his throat. “I’m afraid there is no ‘thinking about this‘. You’re going to carry to term.”

“Huh? You can’t make that decision for me!”

“There is no decision to make. You can’t abort demon fetuses.”

“You can’t? But the father was a one night stand and he threw me out as soon as we were done!”

“A condom could have prevented this.” Really, grownups were sometimes worse than the teenagers!

“I didn’t get a chance to talk condoms with him! One moment we were exchanging names and the next I was on my hands and knees begging him not to tear me in two! Well not that fast, give or take five minutes in between, but still! If you can find a way to sidetrack a heavy horny seven foot tall wolf demon long enough to tell him to use a condom please let me know!”

Dr. Kakarot blinked as he tried to process what she said. Sweet mercy! Seven foot wolf demon? He knew how large demons could get. Hell, he was an ape demon himself but hot damn! She had a monster like that?

“How long did he go for?”

“Six hours.”

Six hours! “Why didn’t you come see me sooner?”

“Would it have made a difference?”

“I could have checked for tears and other damage.”

Nami frowned. “But he didn’t tear me or anything. I was sore for a few days after but considering I hadn’t had sex in three years it’s not surprising. Besides I had sex with him once he returned to his normal form and I enjoyed that.”

Dr. Kakarot blushed to the roots of his hair. She hadn’t had sex in three years but she didn’t get torn by what had to be a massive phallus. She probably had a capacity for it and he took very good care of her, whoever he was. Six hours of straight sex without reverting meant rampage.

“Are you okay Dr. Kakarot?”

“Yes. Anyway you are definitely pregnant. Let me check you and then we’ll do a sonogram.”

“Are you sure we can’t abort it?”

“No Nami, we can’t. Demon fetuses are partially spirit and tied to their mother’s spirits. It would kill you if you tried. I know. A couple of my patients didn’t believe me and they died because of it.” He frowned as he remembered their names and faces.

Nami could almost feel the pain that admission and she dropped it. She had no urge to die when she could just have the baby. It wasn’t that serious. “Okay, go ahead and molest me to your heart’s content!”

Dr. Kakarot sweat dropped. “I really wish you wouldn’t say those things to me. They sound so perverted!”

“Honestly, you’re a man that feels up women and looks up their crotches for a living. You’ve got to be a pervert!”

He laughed and shook his head. This was why she was one of his favorite patients.

“Umm… Dr. Kakarot?”

“Yes Nami?”

“Will you be able to deliver my baby? I mean it being demon and all doesn’t mean I have to change doctors right?”

He smiled, touched by her words. “Of course not. I’m fully capable of guiding you through the gestation period and birth. So don’t worry about it.” He turned to wash his hands.

After the exam, in which he found that the fetus was attached to the left side of her uterus the nurse rolled in the sonogram machine. Nami hissed at the cold gel but laid still and watched the screen. When he found the fetus she frowned.

“Is there something wrong with my baby? He looks strange. He’s so big and it looks like he has two heads.”

Dr. Kakarot frowned as he realized that he hadn’t asked the pertinent questions. “When did you copulate with your demon?”

“You can say have sex doc and it was on my birthday, July third.”

“Mmhmm so that would make you around two and a half months pregnant. This is about right then.” He tapped something into the machine and came back around.

“Is something wrong?” Nami was suddenly worried. Since she had to have it she didn’t want it to be malformed or anything.

“No. You’re on target. The babies are large because demon gestation is only six months long.”

“SIX MONTHS LONG!”

“Nami, I really wish you would stop yelling. It’s quite painful.”

“But you just told me I’m going to give birth in three and a half months!”

“Erm yeah and that’s not all.”

“What other pleasures await me?” She sounded like they were anything but.

“You’re having twins.”

Nami looked all around the room and then looked at him, confused. Then she looked all around the room again as if searching for something.

“What’s the matter Nami?” Now she had him looking all over the room in confusion.

“I thought I heard someone say I was having twins!”

He started laughing hard. So hard in fact he leaned over and slapped his knee. Nami stared at him in confusion, wondering what was so funny. Tears were streaming down his face and worried she reached for the paper towel in one of the little holes on the rack. She pulled off two pieces and handed them to him.

Dr. Kakarot tried to compose himself. She was a riot! Would that all of his patients were like this!

“Oh! Oh wow! I really needed that Nami. Thank you!”

“For what?”

“For being you.” He sighed and wiped his face. “So here’s what we’re going to do. I’m going to give you vitamins and a diet regimen. This should make you feel better and the nausea should soon go away. The pains I really can’t do anything about. The pups are stretching you and you will continue to have pains from time to time. Since you’re not with the father you can get a growl simulator. He’s a wolf demon right?”

“Well when I asked him what type he said canine, but when he changed he looked like a werewolf. When I asked him what he wanted to do to me he touched my belly and said pup. Oh yeah and he had a thing for calling me bitch.” Her cheeks flushed a bit when she remembered when he called her that.

Dr. Kakarot frowned. Was it possible? “If it’s not too embarrassing can you tell me the first position you had sex in?”

“Oh that’s no problem. We were on all fours and he covered me completely. It was actually quite painful at first and all he did was hump me.” She blushed but continued wanting to know herself what genus Zoro was. “But as I loosened up he started moving more. He growled when he ejaculated.” Wait a minute! Did she really just dish to her male muffin doctor? Ack!

“From what you said and what I smell I believe that you met up with a genuine Canis Demonata.”

“What?”

“It’s the highest ranking purest breed of canine demons. He is all canine breeds yet he is none of them. You usually don’t hear of them because they have their own doctors as do all breeds.”

“What does that mean?”

“It means when high ranking dog demons are pupped they go to certain physicians that specialize in dog demons and so on and so forth. Like most species they have doctors that cater to just them. I specialize in apes but also baboons, marmosets, capuchins, macaques, guenons, and tamarins as well as lemurs and tarsiers. Not all the same but close enough related to learn the quirks of each group and become proficient.”

“But I’m having canine pups!”

“True, but in the end you’re just giving birth to babies regardless of what they’re called. I was just explaining that from the primate point of view, I’m a specialist.”

“Okay, I got ya. I was worried for a minute. I didn’t want no stranger digging in my stash!”

“Woman, the things you say to me should be banned.” He shook his head and chuckled. “Back to the previous conversation, you can get a growl simulator and that should ease some of the pain. If you really want to know the specifics I can recommend you to a specialist in canine births. She’s more of a counselor as opposed to an actual medical doctor. She helps human and demon women cope with having a canine mate and canine births.”

“Is she a canine demon herself?”

“Oh no, but she’s a human that has a dog demon for a husband so she might be your best bet.”

“Okay, I’ll try.”

“Just one more thing. For the protection of your pups if anyone asks for their breed say you got pregnant by a wolf demon. They’re said to be loners so it won’t be a surprise that you’re raising a child alone. Since you smell like some breed of canine it won’t be a lie that will register.”

“Is it really that serious?”

His eyes were flat and unreadable. “More than you know.”

“O-Okay. I got pregnant by a wolf demon.”

He smiled and the whole atmosphere changed. “Alright, I’ll get you the specifics while you get dressed. Why don’t you come into my office when you’re done?”

Nami nodded and sighed.

As Dr. Kakarot walked to his office he felt bad for Nami. She’d been done in by the male’s beast, who‘d decided that she was the mother of his pups. The male obviously didn’t know what happened or he would have been here with her, one night stand or not. Canines were funny like that. The real kicker had been that the beast hadn’t told her what he wanted to do to her. He’d been telling her what he was going to do to her, right then and there. Which is why he’d taken such care not to damage her and the reason he‘d copulated with her for such an extended period. He hadn’t been rampaging, he’d merely wanted to make sure the pups took and had enough nourishment until they were born. This was why she had so much pain. Her uterus was full of demon fluid, protecting and feeding the pups, but he didn’t think it would do her any good to know that.


He also didn’t think it a good idea to tell that she needed to kept under protection. She’d been impregnated by an extremely powerful demon male. Only males of a certain register could seal a female like that. That took some control because he had to leave a piece of his power within her to sustain the pups. There were all sorts of people that could do horrible things to her and her unborn pups if they got their hands on them. On the bright side there weren’t too many extremely powerful Canis Demonata males walking around. Hopefully she knew the true name of the male. Canine demons in general tended to have strange names so many went by aliases or shortened forms of their original names.

He was glad she’d been amenable to seeking his friend’s counseling. He would recommend her husband be there to help.

After all the best way to find a lost dog was in the dog pound and he was sending her into the heart of the largest one in all the surrounding territories.
