The world aint slowing down

As unusual as it was, Bonney tied her hair into a high pony tail.
Moving out of the shower, she did not see light coming from underneath Dereks door anymore. He must have went to sleep?
Going back to bed, She was so sleepy. Not really noticing anything- strange, Bonney fell asleep, smiling, laying on the spot where Shanks had been sleeping, it was still warm.
Bonney woke up, halfway the morning.
Stretching her still naked body, she mumbled a "Good morning Shanks-" And looked to her side…
But there was no Shanks to be said good morning to- Bonney shot up, and got out of bed.
Had she been dreaming? She felt her hair. No it was still tied up "Shanks?" of course he could be taking a shower- Then Derek came out of his room
"He's not here Captain, he left last night-" "What!?" Her eyes flared, no note, no nothing!? How COULD he!?

On the other side of town Shanks woke up abroad his ship, "Ugh my head..." Last night was pretty crazy, his head was pounding,
"Last night was great.." He looked over toward the empty side of his bed he half hearted smile, "If I hadn't left..."
But it was a good thing he had left, otherwise he may really fall for her, he's also too old and too dangerous.
Regardless that she was a pirate he meets with far more dangerous people than she would ever imagine.
"I shouldn't stress too much over it, she's young she'll soon forget.." Benn barged into his room at this moment, "Wake up, Shanks! Are we setting sail or what?" Shanks stared at him blankly and scratched his head,
"I guess.." "Alright then shall I take over?" "Yeah.. please.." "Fine." Benn went of shouting the sun's bright light shone over Shanks bed for that moment and he blinked trying to adjust his eyes to it.
"It's not always so great to be pirates..or old for that matter." They began to set sail..

Bonney sat in the kitchen. Her cook having returned together with the rest of the men.
Making the most delicious, well looking food in the world for his captain.
But she shoved it off, even the pizza well covered in every piece of cheese and meat on board.
"The captain wont eat"
"Is she sick?"
"I wonder what happened last night, whahaha"
"Should we sail Derek?"
Derek growled "Lets sail, far away from that Shanks- Who would believe-" He shut up.
Bonney had just come out of the kitchen, Looking frail, sickly, somewhat scared.
"Captain-" Her crew fell silent at the sight of their usually so happy, bright, and demanding captain.
"Lets set sail men. Just leave me alone for a while- I'll be alright" No doubt, that every crewmember very much doubted that- but they left het alone.

Out at sea..... a month has past...

Shanks had not been partying as much or as hard as usual for the past several weeks, he didn't feel like doing much.
"Is the captain alright?" Yasopp whispered to Benn and Benn just shrugged, "Been like this since he left that Jewelry Bonney pirate.."
Yasopp looked at his captain worriedly, "Like in love with her?" "NO NO WAY COULD SHANKS FEEL SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" Benn quickly waved the idea away, Shanks was not that type of man...
or at least he had always thought so anyway he's a man of friendship... not LOVE love...
Benn thought about it a long time though and at this the man on the look out shouted, "Captain! Another ship heading for us!"
Shanks walked to the railing in a bored fashion and looked through his telescope at it just to stare wide eyed, "Bonney?!"
He couldn't believe his eyes, it had only been a month and they were already crossing paths once again!
But... right behind Bonney a flight of marine ships followed closely.
"MEN!" Shanks stood tall raising his sword, "WE FIGHT!" His men rallied up, they don't fight very often and it was good exercise.
Benn then asked coldly, "Why?" Shanks smiled wide, "Those marines are chasing my good friend Bonney! We can't let anything too bad happen can we?" Benn sighed, "Whatever.."

Sick, tired. Hurt, wounded, traumatised.
Last month couldnt have been worse.
Becouse she felt so terrible, Blackbeard captured her off guard. Tied her to a pole for a few days.
Did stuff to her she did not speak to anyone about.
Then fled, leaving her in the hands of Akainu. Weakened as she was, she still managed to get away.
Her crew severely cut down by Blackbeard and his men.
And now she was chased by Marines, Akainu in the lead. Yes, the last month could /not/ have been worse.
"Captain! They are gaining on us!" "Fuck, I know! " Thinking about the right strategy.
Her men looked grim, rough.
They too had been trough a rough time, seeing their friends slaughtered.
"We have to lose weight.." She whispered to herself "MEN! Throw everything overboard we do not need! Our ship is lighter and smaller than theirs. That is their weakness!"

As the ship grew in sight Shanks noticed it was in rough shape and saw her men throwing things over board, she's trying to speed up?
I would imagine her to try to fight... something must have happened.
It was so close now and he noticed a very small amount of men than last time, and the marine ship wasn't gaining so fast but still chasing, Shanks remarked,
"Whoa men hold it, maybe we won't fight this one... It's Akainu..."
Remembering seeing him from the war Shanks growled,
"damnit... why?" As Bonney's ship came practically side by side to his Shanks waved smiling, "I'll hold him off!"
He sounded cheerful but knew too well this would not be at all easy, hopefully he can get them to retreat..
