Chap 5 Luffy Vs Buggy

Luffy and Zoro headed to where Nami's directions told them Buggy's ship was located. It took them a few hours but they finally found the right dock. Buggy and his crew laughed, Buggy's men surrounded the pair. "Hmm 100 against 2. I like those odds." Zoro put on his bandana and placed a sword in his mouth, he had his three swords ready to fight.

"Me to let's have some fun." Luffy said while cracking his knuckles. Nami's plan was that they go down and take out Buggy and his crew, however she was using them as a distraction so she could sneak on Buggy's ship to pilfer their gold and any map.

"Get these fools." Buggy shouted and his crew rushed them swords, clubs, axes and maces ready to strike.

"Three Sword Style, Wild Hunter." Zoro rushed forward cutting threw their cheap swords and weapons. The men Zoro slashed fell to the ground their blood spilling onto the ground.

"Gum Gum Smash." (A technique that combines Luffy's devil fruit power and Iron Body) Luffy thrust his palms out and did a sumo thrust. His palms smashed through weapons and slammed into the enemies with such for they blacked out from the intense pain, hopefully Buggy had a doctor on board his men were gonna need it.

Zoro and Luffy made a good distraction; Nami was able to sneak onto Buggy's ship without being seen. She slipped into the lower decks and pilfered ever piece of treasure she could find. She nabbed every map and put them in a massive bag.

Outside Luffy and Zoro crushed Buggy's grunts, angering the big nosed pirate. "You little brats I'll crush the both of you."

"Bring it on Big Nose!" Luffy said.

Luffy's voice echoed in Buggy's mind and his fury reached its boiling point. "Get them kill them I don't care who does it but I want them dead!" Buggy ranted.

Mohji, Richie, and Cabaji appeared. Mohji was riding Richie and Cabaji was riding a unicycle. "You can have the rubber brat, I want to kill Pirate Hunter Zoro." Cabaji drew out his spinning tops and with the swing of his sword; he sent the barrage of tops at Zoro.

"Don't make me laugh." With Zoro uninjured he had no hindrance to slash apart the spinning tops. The tops were merely a distraction, Cabaji raced into the air and was about to use gravity to increase his power. "Circus Trick Flying Guillotine." He readied his sword to lop off Zoro's head.

Zoro didn't flinch and he didn't try to dodge. "Three Sword Style; Dragon Twister." He spun around whipping up wind with his swords, the winds formed a tornado around him and went straight up into the sky. Cabaji was torn up by the wind and his unicycle fell to pieces. Cabaji fell unconscious to the ground and the twister vanished.

Mohji rode on Richie and launched an attack on Luffy. He used a whip while Richie swung at Luffy with his claws. Luffy used Paper Art to avoid the whip and the lion's claws. He grinned as he dodged each attack. "You call that a whip?!"

"Gum Gum no Whip Lash!" (An attack that combines Luffy's rubber abilities, and the shave technique allowing him to attack multiple enemies at once) His arm was whipped out, Luffy keeping his hand in a chop form he whipped his arm about striking Mohji and Richie at the same time. Luffy pummeled them and left them in a pile; unconscious and bruised.

Buggy was fuming in anger. He loaded a buggy ball into a cannon and aimed it at the pair. "Now die Super Buggy Ball!" Buggy fired the cannon and Luffy dove right into its path.

"Gum Gum Balloon." Luffy inflated and the cannon ball hit his rubber body. Luffy sent the cannon ball flying back right at Buggy. With no men to shield himself he got hit with the full power of his own weapon. His body was badly burned but Luffy wasn't done with him yet. His arms stretched back and he thrust them forward. "Gum Gum Bazooka!" Buggy was sent flying the remainder of his crew got up and went to find their captain.

Luffy laughed and Zoro smirked. Zoro knew what Buggy was worth, and Luffy beat him easily. The swordsman could see that Luffy was a strong captain and that only strengthened his resolve to follow him.

Now that it was safe Nami appeared with all of Buggy's treasure and a set of maps. "Good job boys." Nami said and gave them a tiny portion of the treasure. "I think this is a start of a beautiful arrangement."

"Not yet we still need a ship of our own." Luffy said.

"I think we can use some of this treasure to buy us a new ship." Zoro said and Nami hugged her treasure and hissed at Zoro.

Unknown to Luffy and his new crew the whole fight was witnessed by the mayor of the town. He had gone to fight Buggy himself but had lost, Luffy and co had just freed his village from Buggy's grasp.

Luffy and his crew set off on the marine ship he stole. When the towns people saw the passing marine ship they thought they had been saved by the marines. The mayor set them straight. "NO WE WERE SAVED BY MONKEY D LUFFY A PIRATE!"
