Chapter 5

The next day I awoke with a headache, and yui was still not there, I miss her even though it’s only been 8 hours, I cursed miaka for taking her time, funny I never thought I would be jealous of miaka, I groaned as I heard the doorbell rang and suddenly bolted awake, it might be my angel but she has her own key and wouldn’t ring the bell unless she’s with someone else. I put on a shirt and pants and marched downstairs, I opened the door to see miaka.

“yui said I should hear you out so that we both could move on.” She said through gritted teeth, ‘thanks yui’ I said mentally, I ushered her in and she sat in the living room, I sat in the chair opposite her. “is it just you here?” pleading to answer my silent question, “no my brother is outside with tetsuya,” she paused, “yui went out earlier, I haven’t seen her since,” she said flatly.

I glanced at the clock and saw it was 12:30 and I began to worry, yui usually calls. I took a deep breath and I started to talk, “look miaka, i’m sorry I did not mean to fall in love with someone else, believe me I tried to avoid her, I’m actually just a friend for her, but I didn’t know what happened, at thought at first it’s because I miss you and you kinda reminded me of her,” I paused not a total lie, yui did remind me of miaka in a way. “so we got so close and then it just happened and now I can’t live without her, she told me to wait until I can talk to you but I just can’t.” she look at me tears are on her eyes again.

“dd…..does yui know about her? w…what’s her name?” she choked out. And my eyes widened I wasn’t prepared for that, but she didn’t notice because her eyes were downcast, “no she doesn’t, she met her twice, and she thinks she’s just a friend, and her name is Angel” I said with emotion, “do you really love her?” I nodded, “yes I do”, she looked up and smiled a bitter smile.

“ok if that is how you feel, I won’t force you but you can’t expect me to be friends with you immediately, I’m sorry I dumped ice cream on you” she said as she stood up, I went around and held her, “I deserved it, I’m sorry miaka, I really am” and I meant it, “its ok, I’ll be ok, just make sure you’ll be happy with her.” I nodded as I patted her back, I let her go and felt my heart was lighter. “I’m sure you’ll find the right one for you miaka” she nodded and smiled a little before she can open the door her phone rang.

“moshi-moshi?” she answered. “yui?” my ears perked up, “what you’re in a hospital?, you ran over someone?” my eyes widened and worry ate me up, and i quickly went upstairs, and grabbed my jacket and ran back downstairs. “what’s wrong miaka?” I asked careful not to sound so concern but my heart is saying otherwise. “yui ran over someone, she’s in the hospital.”

“I’ll go with you,” I stated, she looked at me quizzically, “she’s my friend too miaka and though we both aren’t on good terms, I would still rush to you if you need me.” I reasoned and she nodded. As we went out keisuke marched to me and was about to hit me but miaka stopped him.

“its fine now, we cleared everything out, right now yui needs us,” tetsuya gasped, “whats wrong with my yui?” I quirked an eyebrow, ‘my yui?’ I was about to retort but, he spoke again. “well lets go” and we all rode the car. In 10 minutes we arrived at the hospital.

“yui” miaka shouted, and she stood up from the seat to greet us, her hoodie is now replaced by a white tank top and a biker jacket. I was looking at her with concern, i wanted to hold her but we still haven’t told them that its each other we’ve been seeing.

“what happened?” I asked, and she gave me a small smile, “wait here yui I will get you something to eat” miaka said and rushed to the cafeteria, she uttered a small thanks, she looked around and when the coast was clear she sighed. “taka I ran over a kid, I swear I didn’t see him I promise, I’m so scared,” I look at her with concern and held her and patted her back.

“shhhhh….. I know you didn’t mean it love, but why did you call miaka and not me?” I asked pain etched in my voice, she looked up “didn’t think you’d be jealous of miaka, anyway I know she’s there at our house to talk to you, and I know that she’s loud and you would hear,” I sighed, “you scared me you know” she mumbled sorry, and moved away from me, just as miaka returned and tetsuya and keisuke arrived from parking the car.

Tetsuya roughly bumped me aside and hugged yui, “are you ok?” he asked and I rubbed my shoulders about to hit him back but yui raised an eyebrow, and I gritted my teeth, “I’m fine tetsuya” she said as she pushed him away gently, “sorry yui” he said awkwardly,

She moved beside miaka and miaka handed her a bottle of milk and stuffed bread, she turned to sit down but miaka gasped, she marched at her and roughly seated her, and whispered something in her ear, yui’s eyes widened, and she dragged miaka to the bathroom, we all looked at each other puzzled as they left.

When they left keisuke turned to me with narrowed eyes, “so you cheated on my sister, you bastard,” he hissed. “look I already explained to her, and I regretted what I did, but I’m in love with someone else now, and I can’t change that. I’m sorry,” he looked at me hard and sighed deeply.

“fine at least you man up and came back to tell her yourself,” he slumped down beside tetsuya, “thank you” I said softly and he nodded, just as I sat the girls came back, “what was that for?” keisuke asked. “um nothing, yui said girl problem” she said awkwardly, I looked at her and she changed her shorts to a black leather one, and I understood, she has her period today, I groaned mentally but they heard, and looked at me, yui’s eyebrow shot in amusement and her lips quirked, “sorry just sleepy” I lied but what really frustrates me is the no sex for 1 week again while she rides the crimson wave.

The doctor finally came out, and talked to yui, “yui-chan he’s fine now, you can see him, it was just a minor cut and bruise and it turns out he fainted before you actually hit him, you just thought you did,” the doctor said winking at her, she breathed in relief, “thanks ken,” she patted him and she went inside, he looked at her retreating back with lust, “aaaaaaaahhhhhg” I screamed frustrated, I was about to stand up and punch him and tell him to keep his paws of my wife when I noticed everyone in the hospital stopped and looked at me.

I felt embarrass and apologized and reasoned I was just sleepy, I didn’t sleep last night. They understood, and resumed, tetsuya and keisuke sniggered. After a while yui went out. “well I called his parents and their on their way, and miaka that kid is your seishi chiriko, turns out he fainted from over fatigue because of extreme studying.” Miaka gasped excitedly and rushed inside, keisuke and tetsuya followed, I hung back.

“hey yui, are you busy tonight?” the young doctor with brown hair asked her, did he just the nerve, before I knew what I was doing I grabbed his colar and roughly shoved him in the corner so nobody could see us, yui gasped taking my arm off of him, but she failed, “you keep your hands of her or I swear I’ll throw you into the operating table and slice your guts out” I growled at him dangerously. He pushed me away, “and who are you to tell me what to do?” he asked just as angry.

“stop it ken, he’s my hu…boyfriend” yui hissed, ken sneered and left. She wrapped an arm around my waist to calm me down as I was still in rage. “taka please,” I relaxed and lifted her chin up with my fingers, “your mine yui” I breathed possessively. “she just smiled small. “I know taka, please control your jealousy, he’s been hitting on me for years but I ignore him,” I scoffed “how did you meet him anyway, that jerk has been looking at you with lust, I just snapped when he asked you out, I’m sorry”

Yui sighed, “its fine love, just relax, now go to chiriko, I’ll follow soon,” I nodded and before I left I forcefully but gently pushed her to the wall and devoured her lips hungrily, when we pulled apart we were both gasping, she smiled slyly and pushed me away gently. “Love you” I mouthed, as I look back. “Love you too, she mouthed back, I came inside and everybody was talking to chiriko, his parents were also there.

They asked me where yui is and I shrugged, I told them she was talking to the doctor, after a few minutes yui came in, “yui why are your lips swollen?” miaka asked bluntly “have you been making out with someone?” yui blushed, I smirked slyly. ‘what are you talking about miaka?”, she asked innocently. “uh huh” she said and tetsuya fainted, I smirked wider. After a while we all decided to go home. And chiriko checked out.

Since miaka and I just broke up, yui pretended to ask me if I need a ride, and I nodded, I offered to drive since she’s still shaken up. we arrived at yui’s house and parked the car I was about to pull her to walk home into our own house but she stopped me, “taka I need to bath, I feel sticky and icky and sweaty, I’ll just shower first then we can go home” I nodded and followed her inside her old house.

She went to the bathroom hurriedly and I stayed in her room waiting for her, I opened her drawer and saw a tiny blue box and opened it, my heart clenched as I saw her fallen seishi’s blue earring and closed it and put it back closing the drawer. I lied on her bed and sighed, I shouldn’t be jealous, he’s dead, she keeps it because she needed to be reminded of her past mistakes.

“hey you ok?” I stood up as I heard her voice, she’s already dressed in skinny jeans flip flops and a loose blue tank top, her hair still dripping wet. “yeah fine, ready to go?” I asked and she closed the lights of the bathroom and held my hand as we walked out the door and out to the streets, I bravely laced my hands with her. for the first time since we got here we got to walk out hand in hand, “yui lets eat out” I stated and she nodded, leaning her head on my shoulder.

“yui do you have your period?” I asked bluntly and she playfully thumped my shoulder, “taka” she said looking around the secluded restaurant that we are eating at. There are few people and we get to have our privacy and a few people knows about it, but the food is absolutely divine.

“what I’m just asking” I teased. “yes I do” I made a face, “bummer no fucking for a week” I said, yui gave me a flirtatious smile, and leaned close, “its ok taka, I like it when I deprive you of sex for a few days because you go wild on me after.” She said huskily, “well I don’t like not touching you yui, but don’t misunderstand, I did not marry you for sex, I married you because I love you, and its only a bonus that my wife is a sex fiend, and still is very thight, and young and hot” I said just as huskily, as I was licking her earlobe.

“I know that taka, you’re also very wonderful in bed, you screw my brains out, I don’t think anyone can satisfy me like you do” she said as she kissed me, “yui I like that we can talk bluntly about sex, actually I like that we can talk about everything.” Yui raised an amuse brow. “really everything?” I nodded.

“you know how come I always ran into miaka’s seishi’s?” she asked me quizzically, “first sai, and then chiriko,” I sip my wine before answering her, “maybe because you were really supposed to be the suzaku no miko, and that we were really the one destined to be together.” I answered, she made a face, “right, what would you do if my seishi’s get reincarnated?” she asked me.

“its fine if they get to be except two of them,” yui smirked, “really I wonder who?” she said sarcastically. “yes well the psycho yo-yo boy that’s in love with you and the leader who made yoe fall for him.” Yui giggled, “why can’t you say their names.” I sighed “because I don’t want to” I said flatly. She rolled her eyes. “can we not talk about them please.” I begged, “I thought we can talk about anything,” she teased. “yes everything or anyone but them” I said firmly. And she shrugged.

After eating we strolled in the park and then went home, since we can’t have sex we just made out and fondled each other till we fell asleep.
