5:43 AM- Kido Manor- Usual Morning Ritual
It's the usual typical morning ritual, everyone is awake except for Orion Muse who is fast asleep on the couch with her head on my lap and her feet was stretched out. The girl had fallen asleep on the way back from Sanctuary on my shoulder as always. I didn't mind one bit I enjoyed whenever she did this.
And then it happened, Ikki said something about Seiya's fighting style which starts the usual argument, and then it turns into a fist fight between the two. I could see out of the corner of my eye Shun, my lover and Shiryū were about to step in to stop them and Saori-san ordering them to stop, and it didn't help with Libra Dohko and Aries Mu walking in all at the same time.
I didn't notice Muse had reached up and grabbed both their ears and growls with venom and through clenched teeth,
"If I hear, Lady Athena ordering you two idiots one more time to stop and you both ignore her again. I don't care that two Gold Saints are standing in the doorway. I will beat you two like throw rugs in front of them. Now shut the hell up and take your macho bullshit somewhere else."
And just like that Muse was sound asleep on my lap again with Ikki and Seiya rubbing their ears in a comical way. I brush away a lock of dark hair away from Muse's face and I had to smile up at my beloved Shun as he wrapped his arms around my neck with a kiss to my temple.
"I can't believe Muse is Kanon's daughter or she slammed him into the sea cliff for insulting Master Dohko the way he did, and Muse still forgave her father."
I smiled up at my lover and I'm still stroking her dark hair. I'm wondering what Shun thinks of Muse because I know for a while he has been a little jealous of Muse whenever she uses me as her personal pillow. I also wonder if Muse likes me and Shun because sometimes when she walks in on us just holding hands she turns beet red and runs away. I know only one person who would know for sure, but would Geki tell me.
I finally lift up the sleeping girl into my arms after share a chaste kiss with Shun. I took Muse into her room with her constant shadow Saaya following curling up with her on the huge bed. Saaya never growls or roars at me or Shun or Geki. I pet the panther on her head and closed the door silently.
I could see Shun waiting for me as usual and this I pulled him close and whispered in his ear,
"Shun, how would you feel if we brought Muse into our relationship and if you like her?"
I have never seen Shun turn this red since I asked him out over a year ago.
"I like Muse a lot especially her courage and her never say die attitude and how she manages to keep us all in line since Aaliyah decided to stay in with Sanctuary Milo and Camus," Shun said smiling shyly.
We both looked at the door of our sleeping Hunter and smiled as we both went in search of Geki. We found him with his pupil. We waited for him to dismiss his pupil.
"Hey Shun, Hey Hyōga, you both here about Muse, I take it?" Geki said smiling warmly.
I nodded while Shun blushed. Geki laughed good-naturedly as he led us toward the shade of a huge Banyan tree. Geki only smiled as he looks over at us and said,
"So you both want to know if Muse likes you both?"
We both nodded.
Geki only nodded his head yes and laughed again.
"It is so obvious, Muse has been throwing you two hints for the past two months and two weeks even Ikki and the others caught on and they teased Muse mercilessly until she had actually sicked Saaya on them."
We both thanked Geki for the information and we walked back towards the manor as we passed Dohko who was smiling at us and pointed towards the dining room.
We walked in and found Mu trying to stop Muse from slapping Ikki silly. Shun stepped in and took Muse's hand in his and glares coldly at his older brother and in a cold voice that would mirror the coldness of Arctic Circle,
"Ikki, leave alone our Muse or dear brother will answer to me and Hyōga, got it."
Ikki nodded and smiled as he walked away slowly.
Mu smiled softly and left as well.
Muse just stared at us and slowly turned beet red as I kissed her right temple while Shun kissed her forehead. I heard Muse giggle as she hugged Shun as she declared,
"Well, it's about time you two caught on. I thought I would have to kiss one of you to get your attention."
We both blushed at her declaration.
Then she ran outside and we heard her yell,
"Big Bear, I owe you a nice dinner."
Then we heard Geki's good-natured laughter.
Muse came back in and smiled at us as we both took her hand in our hands. The three of us laughed and walked into the living room where the others were and smiles greeted us.
