Love at First Kill
Chapter Six

By: White Angel of the Blood Moon

I looked down at my precious Muraki and I felt my eyes well up with tears as I gazed into those beautiful mismatched eyes that were so honest and filled with love.

\"Yes...\" I seemed to gasp out. At that cue Muraki puled out a spectacular gold diamond ring.

The tears were flowing freely now.

Tears of joy.

\"When did you get that?!\"

\"Last night, while you were sleeping.\"

\"But I was only asleep for two and a half hours!\"

He placed the ring on my finger and kissed my hand once more.

\"How much did it cost you?\"

\"It\'s not important......\"

\"Please tell me!\" I whined, utiizing my puppy ears and eyes.

He gave in.

\"It only cost a ittle more than nine thousand, not nearly as much as you\'re worth to me, and in case you wanted to know, I watched you sleep for an hour and a half before I went and bought the ring.\"

I pounced on him then, taking him the rest of the way down to the floor.

\"Oh, Muraki.....\" I whispered as I kissed him all over.

It was then that I had a thought.......

\"Muraki?\" I perused my thoughts for the proper way to ask.

\"Yes, my precious doll?\"

\"I don\'t have to wear a dress, do I?\"

......He fell into a fit of laughter.
Something I had never seen him do yet.

True, pure, joyful laughter.

It made me wonder how I could have gone so long hating the man.......

Really, I had never hated him.
I had hated myself.
I hated how I was such a hypocrite.
I was always afraid of how I felt, towards Muraki as well as everybody else.
I had to be \"good\".
I had to do what was \"right\".

Who the hell are we to judge what is right or wrong, good or evil?

A sinner to one is a saint to another.

Muraki stood up and picked me up from off of the kitchen tile floor, holding me close as I got to my feet.

\"Oh beloved,\" he began,\"its neary noon and I have to go to work at the hospital.\"

*********************
\"You won\'t be going anywhere today, Muraki.\"
*********************

Tatsumi....

Muraki pushed me behind him in a defensive gesture and turned to face the intruders.

\"Tatsumi-san...., bouya..., what a pleasant surprise, but I am afraid you cannot stay. I do have to go to work, and my fiance needs his rest.\"

Hisoka blanched and Tatsumi simply glared.

\"No, Muraki-sensei,\" Tatsumi bit out,\"we have to take Tsuzuki-san back with us.\"

\"I\'m not going anywhere with you!!\" I yelled in protest.

\"Really?\" Tatsumi raised his shadows and pointed them in Muraki\'s direction.

Obviously, this could get ugly..............
