Chapter 6

The girl was flying at top speed; she had to reach the place before the redhead did it. He was a good friend and had helped her and her group a lot of times, but this time he was an enemy at least from her point of vew he was.

\"I\'m sorry my friend, but he\'s mine... I love him\"

In her mind, there only was place for him and she was ready to defy even the supreme boss to get him. She had fell in love with him, it wasn\'t her fault, she didn\'t know she was supposed to love another.

\"I never wanted it to be like this Kenshin, but you can\'t go against your heart\"

Finally she saw Kaoru\'s dojo, and headed there even faster. She felt happy, luckily Kenshin wouldn\'t be there yet; she landed in the garden and ran inside to look for her \'love\'. She looked everywhere but finally found him in the last place she wanted him to be in, Kenshin\'s room.

He was sleeping and obviously naked, the sheets were up to his waist and the silver light of the moon showered his body.

\"Beautiful...\"

She walked inside the room silently and kneeled beside the futon to admire her angel from closer. His chest moved softly with his breathing and his face was relaxed; she couldn\'t help it and leaned down to kiss him soflty.

Aoshi woke up slowly when he felt the soft lips over his, but he knew it wasn\'t the ones of his lover. He recogniced the scent of the one kissing him and he soflty pushed her appart. She had some tears in her eyes and a soft smile on her face.

\"Misao-chan...\"

She didn\'t let him finish and kissed him again but Aoshi didn\'t answer the kiss; he had never meant to hurt her but he couldn\'t let her think she had a chance. She let go of his lips and embraced him, tight.

\"Aoshi-sama... I-I love you Aoshi-sama... please-\"

\"I\'m sorry Misao\"

She didn\'t want to believe it, her \'love\' wasn\'t in love with another man; he loved her and only her, and they would be happy forever. Her head was hid in his chest and he was caressing her hair soflty. He waited until she was calmer and once again pushed her softly from him; even when he knew it would hurt her he had to do this.

\"Misao-chan, please understand...\"

\"NO!\"

She stood up and looked at him with hurting eyes; if she couldn\'t have him no one would have him at all. She took off her shirt and clenched her hands.

\"Misao please don\'t do this-\"

\"This is not what you think Aoshi-sama... I\'ve come here to open your eyes\"

And then she opened her wings as wide as she could and saw the shock in the man\'s eyes.

\"I\'m an angel... And you too\"

He didn\'t know what to think.

\"Aoshi-sama, you\'re an angel and you have a job to do here in earth... There\'re another four angels who work with us and they\'re Kenshin, Hiko, Saito and Sanosuke. You\'re supposed to work with Kenshin and Saito with Sano and I was supposed to work with Hiko... But I wanted to work with you, because I love you and-\"

\"ENOUGH!\"

They turned to look at the door, there was Kenshin panting and sweating. There was a look of pure rage on his face, he knew what would happen now and he couldn\'t forgive her. He would never forgive her.

Kenshin changed and now he was the Hitokiri Battousai once again; Aoshi stood up and tried to stop him but he knew it was futile, and Misao\'s destiny was sealed. The redehad took his sword and prepared his attack, it was then that Aoshi saw the black wings on his back. Kenshin changed the side of his sword and got ready to do the Amakakeru ryu no Hirameki, just when he was going to do the first movement the voice of his old Shishou stopped him.

\"Kenshin stop!\"

Battousai turned to look at him. He was his sensei and his boss; he HAD to obey him so he stopped, but the anger in his voice was clear.

\"She betrayed us shishou... she went against the procedures.HE BHE BROKE THE LAW!\"

He didn\'t change his position, and Misao knew she better stayed right there not making any kind of movement. Kenshin turned to look at her again.

\"You just have killed us... WHY?!\"

Misao was really scared; she didn\'t want to die at the hands of whom had taken Aoshi away from her.

\"Kenshin, give me your sword\"

\"NO!\"

\"This a direct order from your supr. Ir. I\'m your boss and you must obey me\"

\"She just kiled us all! Don\'t you understand that?!\"

\"I do, but it\'s not your right to punish her\"

\"Wrong! It is MY right!\"

\"Is NOT! Now give me your sword or I\'ll have to attack you!\"

\"I don\'t care! I\'ll die anyway! We\'ll all die!\"

Aoshi had already stood up from the bed and had taken a yukata to cover himself, he walked towards his lover was and hit him hard on the face. Battousai stood there with his face turned to one side.

\"Wake up Kenshin... and wake up NOW!\"

The redhead turned his face and once again he was Kenshin Himura. Aoshi embraced him without saying any other word. Hiko was looking at Misao and he was obviously angry.

\"You do know what you did, don\'t you Misao?\"

She lowered her head.

\"Yes Hiko-sama...\"

\"And you know you have desroyed not only all of us but maybe the whole world, right?\"

\"Yes...\"

Hiko Seijuro stood in front of her and slapped her hard.

\"WHY?!\"

Tears flowed from her eyes but she kept her head lowered.

\"Because I love him...\"

Aoshi raised his head to look at her.

\"That doesn\'t give you the right to do what you have done... And you\'re wrong, because you can\'t love me Misao\"

She raised her head and when she saw the pain in those blue eyes she fell to the floor.

\"But I do! I\'ve known you since I was a child... I couldn\'t help falling in love with you!\"

Aoshi shook his head.

\"You don\'t love me Misao, you misunderstood admiration with love. If you look deep inside your heart you\'ll see I\'m right\"

But she didn\'t want to look inside her, she wanted to love him.

Just then Sanosuke and Saito entered the room; they were panting because of the effort of flying so fast.

\"Hiko... Oh God\"

They didn\'t need to ask what had happened, they all knew that Misao had developed what she called \'love\' for Aoshi. Kenshin had told him that he was scared that she would do something stupid and he had been right all the time. The fact that she was a female had been a mistake no one of them could understand, she should have been a man. She lived with Aoshi for so long and admired him so much that she confused that for love and now what they all feared had happened.

Soon they heard thunders and saw lightnings, and they knew the end was close. They all went outside, soon the archangels would be there to take them back to the skies and their trials, but what they feared the most was what would hapen to the earth. All of them loved that earth and didn\'t want it to get destroyed because of them.

Archangel Gabriel came and soon he was being followed by another group. He didn\'t say a word just motioned them to follow him; they did as they were \'told\' and followed. When they were near the entrance of Heaven they saw that all the other angels of all the earth were fighting to save it. It would be the last time they would see the earth in a long time.

\"The skies made a mistake and almost all the world payed for it...\"

Tohma lowerd his head, he had a hot cup of tea in his hands he was sitting on the couch with K at his side but he wasn\'t touching him. K loved the man next to him but he wouldn\'t do anything unless he accepted his real feelings.

\"You should be angry with me... hate me. Shuichi\ Sh Shuichi shook his head he was at the other side of the couch; Yuki had taken him in his arms and wouldn\'t go go until he knew it was safe. He definitely didn\'t trust Tohma right now.

\"I forgave you a long, long time ago Tohma. I don\'t hate you nor I have any grudge against you\"

\"But because of my stupidity all of you died and were punished and the world could have been destroyed...\"

\"It could but it didn\'t happen ok?\"

Yuki looked at Tohma and narrowed his eyes.

\"Tohma, you know you could have made everything happen again? You know the punishment for suicide and you know that if one of us dies for non-natural causes, all of us die too. Shuichi may have forgiven you... But I can\'t forgive you for this\"

Tohma looked down, he couldn\'t see Yuki at the eyes and it was because he knew the writer was right.

\"Yuki don\'t...\"

\"I\'m sorry Shuichi, but you can\'t expect me to forgive and forget just like that, can you?\"

\"I know how you feel, but I think he already feels bad enough...\"

\"He\'s right Eiri...\"

Yuki turned his head to look at his brother and Ryuichi, they were on the floor and Tatsuha had his lover between his legs and was embracing him.

\"However I\'m still pissed with him Tatsuha; Tohma tried to take Shuichi away fom me since day one. He said he wanted the best for me... Shuichi\'s the best for me and he always knew that. I even know of the time he told Shuichi to stay away from me because he was the one hurting me... Those kind of things are the ones I\'ll never forgive\"

Yuki turned his eyes towards K, who was sitting next to Tohma and shook his head.

\"You\'re the biggest idiot I\'ve ever seen Tohma, you crave for someone you know you will never have and do not want to aknowledge the one you actually love. Sometimes I wonder if you really have brains inside that incredibly hard skull of yours\"

\"Yuki...\"

\"Yuki nothing Shu... Tohma better start thinking right before he kill us all... again\"

They all fell silent, by the way things were developing they may never end this and liked it or not they still had things to do. K closed his eyes and then shook his head sighing.

\"Ryuichi, Tatsuha you two have work to do... Go and we\'ll talk later ok?\"

Ryuichi nodded and stood up; K had given him the information of the case and soon both angels were leaving the building.

\"What was all that about K? That case could have been taken care by other angels\"

\"We were closer... Shuichi please help me to make some coffee for when they\'re back?\"

Tohma knew what was K\'s plan and he didn\'t like it; he didn\'t want to talk with Yuki but he knew it was something he HAD to do.

\"Eiri I-\"

\"No Tohma... Save it I really don\'t want to hear anything from you\"

The blonde president of NG frowned.

\"It\'s a shame then, because you will hear what I\'ll say\"

Tohma didn\'t notice it but Yuki had an smirk in his lips, he didn\'t say a thing but took a cigarette and lightened while waiting for his brother-in-law to start talking.

\"Look, I know I made a horrible mistake and I\'m really sorry, but I won\'t accept that bad attitude towards me... never forget I\'m your boss after all\"

Yuki put the cigarette on the ash tray and stood up; he took Tohma by the collar of the shirt and shook him.

\"I don\'t care a damn if you\'re my boss-\"

\'Yuki!\'

Yuki just sighed.

\"Anyway as I was saying, you may be my boss but you don\'t have the right to talk to me that way. You destroyed us once and almost did it again now and all because you couldn\'t accept that I could love someone who wasn\'t you\"

Yuki let go of him and took seat again, he once again took the cigarette and took a long drag of it.

\"What bothers me the most is that I\'m not even worth the effort... You two should have come with a manual for the user. If it weren\'t because I respect Shuichi the way I do I would have read his mind since the moment I knew I could\"

\'I\'ll let you if you want Yuki... I don\'t have anything to hide form you\'

\'And I would like you to stop \'hearing\' what I\'m talking with Tohma\'

\'Ok, ok... but still\'

Yuki shook his head and looked at Tohma again.

\"Look, I don\'t hate you I even forgave you for marrying my sister just to be close to me, and believe me when I say that I was REALLY pissed off with you because of it. Mika is mi sister and I love her, even if I don\'t say it too often... Your heart knows who you love Tohma, you should listen to it from time to time\"

Tohma shook his head and leaned back on the couch.

\"I suggest you to take some days off to think about it with more calm\"

\"Yeah... maybe you\'re right\"

Just then Shuichi and K came back from the kitchen with some hot coffee and a tea for the pink haired singer; Shuichi had never liked coffee that much. He took his cup and Yuki\'s and went to take seat next to his lover while K gave a cup to Tohma and took seat at the other side of the couch, next to the small blonde but not too close.

\"So... what are we going to do now?\"

\"Our job Shuichi... both of them. The rest will be taken care when the time comes\"

K smiled at the singer and then looked at Tohma, then he lowered his eyes. It was really uncomfortable to see the long haired manager acting that way; he usually would have taken his magnum out and threatened someone, but now his heart was hurting.

\"K... what do you think about taking some free days? I don\'t know, maybe go to the beach or so?\"

Ok, usually K was someone difficult to surprise, but when someone like Tohma said something like that you couldn\'t be less than surprised.

\"But we have work to do and there\'s a concert soon...\"

\"Don\'t worry Sakano and Noriko can take care of that and Ryuichi can take care of the missions\"

K tought about it; he was right Noriko could control Sakano and Ryuichi knew the procedures perfectly. Besides he could use that to seduce Tohma again and win his heart.

\"You know? I think you\'re right... where would you like to go?\"

\"Why don\'t you go to Hawaii? Or you could go to Brazil too\"

K looked at Shuichi and this one smirked.

\"You know Shuichi? I actually like the idea of Hawaii\"

\"Then Hawaii it is... We\'ll leave in the following two days so we can get everything ready\"

Just then Ryuichi and Tatsuha came back and for the way Ryuichi was looking at K he wasn\'t happy.

\"You know K? Next time just tell us that you need us to go for a while... We could have been doing more pleasurable things that arguing with other angels because we had the same mission...\"

K snikered and gave him the V sign.

\"Peace! Whom you encountered with?\"

Ryuichi embraced Tatsuha tightly and looked at the blonde manager with anger in his eyes.

\"A guy who thought it was funny to hit on my boyfriend and a guy who seems to have something shoved up in his-\"

\"Ryuichi!!\"

\"What?! I was going to say derriere!\"

Tohma looked at his long time friend and narrowed his eyes.

\"Yeah right... And if I\'m not wrong those are angels from Kanagawa\'s state\"

K now laughed openly; he actually knew whom they were talking about and he kind of enjoyed the way Ryuchi got all possessive over Tatsuha.

\"Come on Ryuichi... He just like to flirt, but he\'s faithful to his partner\"

\"Anyway... I don\'t want that guy near my Tatsuha ever again!\"

\"Who would know Ryuichi would be the jealous tipe\"

Ryuichi turned to look at Shuichi and stook his tongue out.

\"I just protect what is mine, na no da!\"

Tatsuha sweatdropped.

\"Then I should forbid you from going to concerts or even going out of the house... Too many people interested, and as you said I would be just protecting what is mine\"

Ryuichi looked at his boyfriend with watery eyes.

\"You wouldn\'t! Don\'t be mean na no da!\"

Tatsuha laughed and embraced Ryuichi lovingly.

Yuki looked at Ryuichi and then at Shuichi, when the pink haired singer nodded Yuki stood up.

\"Ryuichi, could you come with me? I need to talk with you\"

The green haired vocalist stood up and motioned Yuki to guide him to a place where they could talk more privately. They went to his office and then closed the door he was going to talk when Ryuichi stopped him.

\"I know what you want to talk about Eiri, butI think it\'s time for you to forgive yourself... it wasn\'t your fault\"

Yuki motioned Ryuichi to sit down and then he took seat on the armchair he had there.

\"I just want to know what happened with him...\"

\"He was destined to come back to earth but he said he wouldn\'t go unless you forgive him for what happened... so he had been punishing himself in a place that isn\'t Heaven nor Hell... Not even the purgatory, he\'s in a kind of limbo from he won\'t get out\"

Yuki raised his head and it was then that he noticed he had actually lowered it.

\"Can I visit him? If I want to be free from my demons I need to confront them one last time\"

\"You can, but you can\'t go there alone-\"

\"Shuichi can go with me\"

\"I was going to say Tohma but if you want it to be Shuichi that can be arranged\"

\"Thank you... Please tell me what do you know about him, about what hapened after I killed him?\"

Ryuichi frowned and crossed his arms.

\"Mmmm... Well, it was all very fast. By that time Tohma had already awaken and in his state he could have erased Kitazawa\'s soul forever, so K and I had to act as fast as we could. I took the soul out of the body and K decided where it would go; he said he didn\'t want to because he owed you. Kitazawa wanted to ask for your forgiveness but knew it was something pretty difficult to happen-\"

\"So he decided to stay wherever he is now\"

Ryuichi nodded.

\"Yes, but the more he stays there the more he\'ll lose his place back in earth... That only would mean his ticket to hell\"

\"Oh...\"

Yuki stood up and walked to the window; the sun was almost completely out and he could hear the early sounds of the city. He turned his head back towards Ryuichi.

\"What I have to do to go?\"

\"It\'s quite simple really; I can take you there, but you must be really sure of it. Eiri... you\'ll confront the one who destroyed you, the one person that had been appearing in almost all of your dreams, haunting you. If you\'re going there you must be focused, you can\'t let your memories take hold of you, or you may never be able to leave that place\"

Yuki closed his eyes and sighed.

\"That\'s why I want Shuichi coming with me... He\'ll know what to do if anything goes wrong\"

Ryuichi smiled.

\"You really trust in him, don\'t you?\"

That was more an statement than a question.

\"When I decided to quit living, he took me in his arms and gave me the strenght to keep going. In that moment I decided to trust my life to him and till now he have been doing an excellent job\"

Ryuichi laughed.

\"But you don\'t trust your kitchen or your car to him, do you?\"

Yuki smirked.

\"That\'s different; Shuichi doesn\'t cook bad, but he tends to leave the kitchen as if there had been a war. And for my car, sorry but I don\'t trust my car to anyone\"

\"O... k...\"

Yuki narrowed his eyes.

\"I don\'t like the way that sounded\"

\"Just say that one day you\'ll remember this talk and will laugh, na no da!\"

\"Believe me, there\'s no way in Earth or Heaven that I\'ll let Shuichi drive my car\"

Ryuichi stood up and snickered.

\"You forgot to mention Hell... bye!\"

And Ryuichi left the place; Yuki sweatdropped and shook his head, and took in count that they hadn\'t decided when they would do their \'visit\' to Kitazawa.

That night they kept talking about the past and some other things. Shuichi took Yuki back to bed when it was like 9:00 in the morning, and it was obvious he wouldn\'t go to work that day. K had accepted and he would call Hiro, Suguru and Sakano to tell them to take the day off.

It was 5:00 p.m. Shuichi opened his eyes slowly and turned his head to look at his lover; Yuki was still sleeping and the man looked so peaceful that he felt it would be a crime to wake him up. The pink-haired man stood up carefully and went to the bathroom; since it didn\'t seem that Yuki would wake up soon he decided to take a bubble bath.

\"It have been a long time since the last time I took one of these...\"

He smiled and started to prepare everything, when the tub was full wih water and bubbles he took his clothes off and entered the warm water. Once completely inside he took a small towell and rolled it to use it like a pillow; he closed his eyes and relaxed his body.

\"God this feels good...\"

Shuichi gathered some water in his hands and splashed it over his face and hair.

\"Mmmm... so good, the only way this could get better would be if Yuki were here too\"

\"Be careful with what you wish, it may come true\"

Shuichi opened his eyes abruptly and what he saw made him smirk, there was Yuki in all his naked glory. The blonde smiled, entered the tub and slid behind his lover; he positioned Shuichi between his legs and the singer rested his back against his lover\'s chest. Yuki embraced him andted ted his chin over Shuchi\'s wet hair.

\"Now I\'m in Heaven\"

Shuichi said and turned his head to kiss his other half as deeply as he could.

\"Do you know how much I love you?\"

Yuki smiled and kissed him on the forehead.

\"Fortunately, yes I know\"

Shuichi turned around and now was stradling Yuki; he looked at him in the eyes and then closed his own to kiss him deeply again, and pressing his erection against Yuki\'s. The man embraced him and lowered his hands until he reached Shuichi\'s lower half; Shuichi moaned and moved his hands over his lover\'s chest and abdomen.

\"Now... this is the best way to start a day, don\'t you think?\"

\"It\'s al most six in the afternoon Shuichi\"

\"Mean...\"

Yuki kissed him in the lips again and then strated kissing down the neck so well exposed for him to taste; Shuichi jsut kept moaning and moved over Yuki faster.

\"Not so fast Shu... You\'ll make us come too soon\"

Shuichi stopped and let Yuki lead their love making.

\"Sorry, it\'s just that-\"

\"Shhh... it\'s ok, I know\"

Yuki prepared Shuichi slowly and carefully, as he always did. The water full of soap and bubbles would act as lubricant so when he finally penetrated his lover it went easily inside.

\"You feel so good Shu...\"

Shuichi moaned in response; they moved slowly inside the tub following the rythm and simply enjoying the pleasure of being together as deep as they could. Yuki increased the pace and reached between them to give Shuichi more pleasure, moving his hands at the same time with his thrusts.

\"Yu-Yuki I\'m...\"

\"Come then...\"

And it was all he needed, soon Shuichi was reaching his climax being followed close by Yuki. Both men stayed inside the water until it started to get cold; the tall writer helped his lover to stand up so they could finish t sho shower.

\"Shuichi...\"

\"Yes?\"

\"I want to ask you a favor\"

Shuichi turned to look at him and smiled.

\"Everything you want Yuki\"

Yuki embraced him and kissed him softly on the forehead.

\"Whould you come with me to see Kitazawa?\"

Shuichi\'s eyes opened wide in surprise.

\"I thought you would\'ve prefered to go with Tohma... After all he-\"

\"That\'s exactly the reason why I don\'t want to... Besidethinthink you have more rigth to be there than Tohma\"

Shuichi smiled softly and rested his head over Yuki\'s chest while the water of the shower kept falling over them. He tightened his embrace and looked up smiling.

\"Of course I will go with you Yuki... I love you\"

\"Love you too Shu... and thank you\"

They finished their shower and once they were dried and dressed they went to eat something; Yuki knew it was going to be long and knowing Shuichi he surely would be feeling hungry if he didn\'t eat enough.

And so, they prepared themselves for maybe the most important meeting of their lives.

I\'m SORRY!!! For taking so long updating TT But I was really busy with my studies and then I had a lot of problems with my pc. I want to say sorry if there are too many mistakes, but my Word program doesn\'t have spell chek for english and even when I read this thing again and again sometimes there are things I don\'t see.
