Chapter 6

(A/N) Ooooh! A sixth chapter! Originally this was just going to be a short maybe one or two shot story, but it seems to be developing….which is maybe a good thing. Or maybe not…anyway, please read and review as usual.

CHAPTER SIX: HERO

K ran out of the building, his blonde hair streaming behind him in the wind. What had he been thinking? Forcing himself on Hiro like that?

He shook his head, it was lucky that Hiro had stopped it before it had gone any further. Whatever it was that was now happening with Hiro could only serve to complicate K’s life further.

He wouldn’t let it.

And so that was why he was running away. It wasn’t because he was a coward, a coward who couldn’t face the man he’d just kissed.

And it had been good, the kiss. It had been so different from Tohma, and K had liked that, he had liked the kiss. And in fact, if he was truthful with himself he wanted to do it again.

Suddenly K heard a loud squeal of tires and a beep of a horn. He paused, frozen, just then realising that he was in the middle of the road. He had been so preoccupied with his thoughts that he hadn’t noticed.

And the black car that had just spun to a stop inches from him, who should be sitting in it but Tohma Seguchi.

“Fuck.” K hissed underneath his breath.

Tohma glared at K from behind the wheel before getting out of the car and slamming the door behind him.

“What do you think you are doing?” he asked dangerously.

“Going home.” K muttered, his blue eyes boring into the other man’s. K could feel his blood pressure rising, his hands clenching into fists. It felt good.

“Home?” Tohma asked, raising an eyebrow. “Don’t you have work to do?”

“I’ll do it later.” K spat, hardly believing that he was answering back. But his blood was coursing hotly through his veins and it was giving him his strength. Strength he thought he had lost.

“I don’t think so.” Tohma said smoothly, reaching out and grabbing K’s wrist in a tight grip.

K’s anger didn’t waver; he yanked his arm away roughly and for the first time something akin to shock flickered through Tohma’s face.

“I wouldn’t act this way towards me if I were you, K.” Tohma warned, taking a step closer to the other man.

K almost laughed, he thought he was going crazy. Here he was answering back to Tohma who had been exacting a reign of terror over him for the past few days, who could fire him on a whim and who was currently in possession of one of K’s guns.

But K suddenly found he didn’t care. Tohma had already taken his body, what else could he take that would be worse. His job? K loved his job, he would miss it a lot. His life? He wouldn’t miss that so much.

“Why?” K challenged, “What will you do Tohma? Will you fire me? Will you shoot me? Do it! I don’t give a fuck what you do anymore? Take me, fire me, kill me! Do whatever you want! Just let me go home right now, I need to rest!”

Tohma frowned at him and a dark look clouded his wide eyes. “I want to see you in my office tomorrow morning,” he said. “That’s an order.”

K nodded before taking off. He ran past the car park and down two streets before slowing down to a walk. He walked all the way back to his apartment, the fresh air cooling his blood and making him shake a little. What the hell had he said to Tohma? Was he out of his mind? The answer was most obviously yes.

When K finally stepped out of the elevator and walked along the cream corridor to his apartment door he was more that a little surprised to find Hiro standing there waiting for him.

“Hiro?” he asked tentatively, not daring himself to believe that the figure standing before him, looking at him with such deep concern was real.

“I wanted to kiss you.” Hiro said, getting straight to the point.

K’s mouth fell open and his hands fell limply to his side, leaving the key half turned in the lock.

Hiro reached out and finished the job, opening the door wide allowing them both to look into the spacious apartment inside.

“I liked it,” he said.

“You told me to stop.” K whispered.

“You were using me to take out your anger on Tohma. I know what he does to you; I didn’t want you to do that to me.”

K’s cheeks coloured in shame. “Hiro I would never…”

Hiro shrugged and entered the apartment, looking about the large living room for something.

K followed speechlessly and shut the door behind them.

“Can I have a drink?” Hiro asked.

K nodded and moved over to the bar. His hand only barely steady he managed to grab two wine glasses from the cupboard. He placed them on the counter. Why was Hiro here? Maybe to get revenge? No, Hiro wasn’t the type. Hiro was kind, he was warm he could save him…

Just then a strong arm slid about his waist and hot breath tickled the back of his neck. K jumped and knocked a glass of wine to the floor. The red liquid soaked into the cream carpet, staining it.

“I didn’t mean to scare you,” Hiro whispered, his lips warm against K’s neck.”

“It’s okay.” K said, he could barely move, could barely speak. What in the world was Hiro doing? Wasn’t he angry at K for what had happened earlier?

K turned around, looking into the deep brown eyes of the younger man. Why was he so afraid?

Hiro smiled and leant forward, kissing his way along K’s strong jaw line. K gasped, his hands moving to clutch at Hiro’s hips, his fingers slipping under the belt loops of Hiro’s jeans.

Hiro’s lips moved lower, down K’s neck, his hands undoing the buttons on the blonde man’s shirt. K brought one trembling hand up to clutch the back of Hiro’s neck, getting a handful of hair-sprayed red hair at the same time.

“Do you want this?” Hiro whispered, nipping at K’s ear.

“Yes,” K moaned, “Yes…”

Suddenly the mouth disappeared and K felt Hiro’s hands clutch his head. The guitarist rested his forehead against K’s, his dark eyes peering intently into K’s own blue eyes.

“Forget about Tohma,” Hiro said, his breath ghosting over K’s face.

“You don’t understand…” K began.

“Forget.” Hiro ordered. K fell silent and looked back into the dark eyes that he looked into every day at work. He had never drowned in them before.

Just when K was beginning to feel that he couldn’t take Hiro’s penetrating stare anymore the other man closed his eyes and his mouth fell open as if just being so close to K was giving him unbelievable pleasure.

K closed his own eyes. Forget, Hiro had said. K wanted to forget, he wanted to forget so very much. Feeling his cock twitch to life at the expression on Hiro’s face K leant forward and brushed his lips once, twice against the younger man’s.

And then Hiro was kissing back, and their mouths came together fiercely, his tongue sliding into Hiro’s mouth, the guitarist moaning loudly in the silence of the room.

“Oh God,” K whispered, “Oh God…”

Hiro’s mouth was attacking his neck once more, and his slim, musician’s fingers had succeeded in opening K’s shirt fully, his fingers trailing over his lightly tanned chest.

Then Hiro slid down, his hands running over the front of K’s jeans, brushing maddeningly over his erection. He pulled unzipped K’s fly and pulled the jeans a little further down. K almost fell to the ground when Hiro put his mouth over his erection, still covered by his boxers.

“Fuck me.” Hiro said from his place on the floor.

K looked down at him with heated eyes and Hiro didn’t think he’d ever seen anyone look more beautiful.

And then K launched himself at the other man, letting go of all his inhibitions, tearing off Hiro’s t-shirt and jeans. Hiro wore no underwear and K was grateful, he didn’t think he could wait any longer. When Hiro scrambled in the pockets of his jeans and pulled out some lube K didn’t ask any questions. If Hiro had planned this, if he had known K would give in, he didn’t care.

This felt right, it felt so right. With Hiro he could forget about Tohma. Hiro moaned as K entered him and K bit his own lip in pleasure. He moved slowly, refusing to allow himself to hurt Hiro, he didn’t want to be Tohma.

Hiro came silently, his hand reaching up to cup the face of his manager as K came, his shoulders shaking a little. He pulled K down to lie beside him on the soft carpet, his hands tangled in the long strands of blonde hair.

Back in the office, Hiro hadn’t wanted to go this far. But then he had understood. This was what K needed, someone who would be gentle, someone to give him the strength to break away from Tohma.

Hiro had been shocked to say the least when he had found out about Tohma and K. He couldn’t believe Tohma would use someone like that, and he couldn’t believe K would let himself be used.

Hiro had always thought K was beautiful, sure he was a little scary but he could be vulnerable as well. Hiro wondered if he and Tohma were the only ones who had ever glimpsed that side of the crazy American. Tohma had exploited it, but Hiro would love it.
