Chapter 21 A Contract with Asuna

“I’m worried about Aniki,” says Kamo one afternoon only he and Asuna are sitting in their room.

“Yeah, so am I,” says Asuna. “This Evangeline vampire thing seems to drain all his strength. I wish there was something I could do for him.”

“You really want to help him?”

“I helped him the first time the vampire attacked him, didn’t I? I was hoping this was over but he seems certain that she will attack again. I wish she would do it soon so we can kick her butt and…”

“Hey, it’s not that easy, that’s why Aniki is so afraid. Evangeline and Chachamaru together are stronger than him and they will get a certain victory when they launch their attack. Aniki needs a partner, but he’s too proud to ask any of you girls for help.”
