Friendships

Cable arrived at the pokecenter around noon. Ami saw him through the Window and smiled.
Then he stumbled through the door and fell limp on the floor.
Amanda walked into the pokecenter at the exact moment and saw Ami rushing to his side with Nurse Joy following behind.
Ami made it to him and began shaking him trying to get him to respond.
"Cable!? Cable!?" She asked franticly. Amanda bent down to help and Ami shot her a quick glance but ignored her as she
started to get his feet. Ami seeing that she was only helping grabbed an arm and Joy took the other.
"On three." Amanda said. The two shook their heads in agreement.
"One. Two. Three!" The three lifted up Cable and got him to a bench.
Amanda smiled and looked at Ami. "What a funny way to meet again." She said amused.
"Do you always keep walking away when some one calls you?" She asked.
'It seems to be that way.' Ami thought before comeing back with a quick no.
Nurse Joy cut in. "He's fine just tired. He'll need to rest a while."
"By the way it looked to me. His pokemon will need alot of rest too." Amanda commented.
"You take the pokemon and I'll help Ami get him somewhere." She said as she strolled to the PC.
She booted it up and in a few moments she was holding a odd black pokeball.
"Machoke, go!" A flash of light and a very powerful pokemon stood in the pokecenter.
He flexed and looked to the left then to the right and slumped when he noticed no opponent.
He let out a a sigh of disappointment and turned to his trainer. "We need some help." He cocked an eyebrow then nodded
happily. "You're going to carry him for her wherever she needs him taken. understand?" The superpower pokemon nodded
and gently lifted the exausted trainer. Ami looked on with amazement and wonder.
"Please call me when you get done and I'll pick Machoke up." She thought a moment or two. "And let me know how your...'
she stopped.
"Cousin." Ami said
"Yes. let me know how he's doing." Amanda walked to Ami. "And while I'm at it." She took some money from her pocket.
"I want you to have this back. The whole fight was just on a very bad day for me. I never wanted to take your money."
Ami looked at the money and couldn't think of anything to say. When she looked up Amanda had already left.
She turned to Machoke who just shrugged and motioned for her to get going. She nodded and walked out of the door
with him trailing behind her.


The light lit up and Steve got left his chair and entered the room only to see a Machoke holding a young man.
Then Ami came through the door. "Hello Steve. Any word from Kate?"
He shook his head looking at the large pokemon. "Oh. Well, Machoke will help me get my cousin to my room."
He shook his head and went back to his chair. "My my my. poor girl's having a lot of trouble."

Machoke lay Cable down on the bed near the door and turned to Ami.
"I'm just going to call her now so you do not have to wait so long." She said not paying much atention to the pokemon.
"Choke." He replied.

Amanda had just strolled out of a dress shop when she heard her pokenav ring. She sat a few bags down and fished
it out of her left pocket.
"Hello? ... Oh, Ami. Are you done already?... So you are. ... Yes. ... I'll be there in no time. ... Bye."

Amanda had stopped bye and picked up her machoke but didn't have time to stay.
She said she had left a friend waiting for her and didn't want to worry her.
So now Ami sat alone with Cable, waiting for him to wake up.
"Cable, When you wake up, we have alot to talk about." She said before laying on her own bed and turning out the lights.
