A/N: hello all! I’m sure you’re going to forgive me for taking this long right?
Readers: GET YOUR TORCH AND PITCH FORKS!! WE’VE GOT A SLOW UPDATER ON OUR HANDS!!!
A/N: 0.0 ….I’m sorry…. Anyway I’ve been having issues in the real world so it was hard to get in the virtual world, but hopefully it’s all good now. On to the next chappie!
Disclaimer: I don’t own one piece and if I was making money off this I would go down the street to the nice Chinese restaurant and eat some egg drop soup, but I’m not so I can’t. ;_; *sniff*
Important info: this chapter takes place on usopp’s island while they’re eating in the restaurant and usopp has just left to see kaya. In between chapters 23 and 24.

Chapter #6
This guy is impossible to read. I keep trying to tell if he’s mad at me or not, but it looks like he has no emotion besides hunger and that’s not even really and emotion. He keeps stuffing his face with a ton of meat; his cheeks bulging out like a chipmunk. He acts as if nothing happened yesterday and I guess nothing really did. I mean it was only a kiss. Not like a deep commitment or something. Though I do wish Nami would stop looking at him like that.
Ever since she joined the crew she’s been watching him and it’s starting to piss me off. He’s mine or at least I’m his. It’s impossible to explain. I want him, but I don’t want anyone to know I want him. I wish I could have him but I don’t want anyone to give me lip about it. Which I’m sure they would. Why does love have to be so damn confusing? Is it even love? I like the guy, but is it really as serious as love?
I call for the waiter to get me more grog. It’s not like I’ve got anything to worry about. I don’t get drunk although normally I don’t drink this much. Luffy calls for more meat. has this guy ever heard of vegetables? All he eats is meat and he eats a lot of it. Nami just giggles. God, she’s getting on my nerves.
The waiter comes and refills my glass which will empty before he can get back to the kitchen. I’ve been trying to act as normal as possible like Luffy is, but he is much better at it. Maybe he’s forgotten what happened. That idiot would.
We met this ridicules kid named Usopp this morning and I’ve got the sneaking suspicion that captain will ask him to join us before long. He seems completely useless to me, but who knows maybe Luffy can see something in him that I can’t. Wouldn’t be the first time. Come to think of it, what did he… what does he see in me? I serve little purpose besides the occasional fight or giving Nami something to complain about.
I watch him stuff his face literally. The slurping noises are disappetizing and a little gross, but other than that it’s kind of adorable the way he eats like someone going to take it away from him. His eyes gaze up for a moment. Just long enough to meet mine. Our gazes lock for an instant as he shines forth a food-filled smile before he goes back to eating.
Nami says something to the lines of ’don’t chew with your mouth open’, but I know he wasn’t chewing. I know their was meaning in his smile. I know exactly what he meant. I know.
I’m forgiven.
