Chapter 6 : Deception Of The Years

- Natalliee's POV -

It was time.

I heard someone's footsteps coming close but I couldn't will myself to turn around.

"Babe, what chu worrin' 'bout?"

It was Rune, better talking to him than to Aaron.

"Nothing. I was just mentally preparing myself for this show."

"Look, Emmy babe, if this to much stress on ya... we can postpone the show."

"No!! You can't do that Rune. I can't do that to those fans out there. It would be musical suicide!"

"Chill Emmy. I wasn't serious. Just makin' sure ya okay and everythin'."

"Yo!! Rune! Emia! Show in five minutes! Get your bums in gear and lets rock 'em!!"

Kalacie, she was always so full of energy, I wish I could borrow some of the enthusiasm. I just put on my practiced smile and shooed Rune off so she could get ready.

The curtain came up and I took a deep breath and came out running to the stage.

"Good evenin' everybody!!"

The crowd burst into loud cheers and whistles. The energy was so extraordinary, this is why I loved it up here on stage.

"Glad to see everybody's all ready to get this thing started. Let's start this off slow so I can get going!"

More screaming and whistling. I was loving this. Hopefully they'll love this also.

"1,000 Words! If ya know the words feel free to sing your heart out!"

Deep breath. I was going to do this no matter how bad I was feeling.

First song done and over with. The whole place I swore got louder. That's pretty hard to do considering the volume it was at now.

"I'm glad y'all loved that one! I had fun trying to write that when we were snowed in up in Russia. Now let's keep going with a personal favorite of mine. The song that got me where I am today! Real Emotion!!"

I was seriously out of breath right now. But I had to keep going, no stopping when I just barely began.

I could swear tears were coming to my eyes. That song always hit me pretty hard. I took another deep breath. After this song I could go relax backstage for a few minutes. Get myself together so I could blow them away.
