Chapter 40 The Real Negi

Negi is finished patrolling outside and he has reported to Asuna and Setsuna and he’s on his way to his room so he can have a few hours of sleep. He will get up again before dawn to do another patrol round before the girls wake up. He came in through a back door so he didn’t see what was happening in the lobby and he knows nothing about all the ruckus that have been going on at the hotel for the last hour. Inside his room he undresses and makes himself ready for sleep. Everybody thought the game was over when Kazumi was dragged out of her studio and most of the contestants were caught by Nitta. But one girl couldn’t sleep and the TV cameras were still operating. Misora were the only one who saw the big finale and next morning she told Kazumi who could declare Yue as the winner. Very few, if any had betted on her and Kazumi made a good profit. Kamo also made a good profit from the contract between Negi and Yue, although he had hoped for more.
