Chapter of the 6
Eiri awoke early the next day streaching before feeling around for his pink haired lover. He sat up quickly when his hands didn't connect with anything besides another pillow and then remember the night before.
He sighed as the fight they had replayed in his mind.
"Shuichi..." He muttered laying back down to stare at the place he would normaly finds his baka sleeping.
Sighing again, Eiri climbed out of bed and dressed walking out into the living room to see Hisoka cooking breakfast as Tsuzuki talked to Tatsumi on his cell phone. The where discussing what to do next. Tsuzuki waved at Eiri with his normal happy smile.
Eiri ignored Tsuzuki and went into the kitchen and making himself a cup of coffee. Hisoka handed him a plate of eggs, bacon, sausage and hashbrowns. Eiri took it without a word and sat down beginning to eat. Tsuzuki finished the call and quickly joined Eiri and Hisoka to eat.
"What did Tatsumi say?" Hisoka asked.
"He will try and find out Muraki's whereabouts and he told us to do our best here and gegin to search." Tsuzuki paused and lokked at Eiri. "Tatsumi also said that Eiri-san has to be with us at all times. He could help if we cncounter Muraki again."
Eiri just stared at Tsuzuki before returning to his food. He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone right now. He felt guilty and felt it was his fault that Shuichi was now gone and in the hands of a sadistic psychopath.
Hisoka sighed and nodded. "Yeah, he will be helpful expecialy of Shuichi has been put under a spell."
"Spell?" Eiri finally sais looking at the green eyed boy.
"He likes to make people seem like dolls. Take away their reasoning self."
"....." Eiri stood and walked to his office. Now he was thinking of all the things that could happen to his pink neko lover.
"If you don't mind Eiri-san we're going to start the search soon. Hisoka and I will start with looking around the park for clues, but when we have to leave this proximity you will have to come with us." Tsuzuki said receaving a wave of the hand and a closed door.
"Well...that was easier than thought." Tsuzuki shrugged downing his coffee.
"He misses Shuichi....He wont admit it, but he will do anything to get him back." Hisoka smiled at the office door the Tsuzuki.
"I guess so." Tsuzuki blinked understanding a bit more. "Anyway, We should get to searching now don't you think Hiso?" He wrapped his arms around the young boy's shoulders.
"Yeah, but don't hang all over me. We have work to do. And don't get us lost again!" Hisoka snapped grabbing Tsuzuki's coat and throwing it at the older man.
"Aw...Hiso I didn't mean to last time!" Tsuzuki cried as they left Eiri alone in a silent, empty house.
Eiri sat at his desk listening to the shinigami as they left before booting up his laptop. 'I'll write...get my mind off things.' He thought as he typed in the passwrods needed to finish starting up the computer. His gold eyes fell upon the desktop picture he had...Shuichi had set it one day when Eiri took a break from writing. It was a picture of the two of them at the pool. Shuichi hand knocked Eiri into the water, but also fell in. Hiro had taken the picture of Shuichi laughing and Eiri about ready to drown the neko.
He smiled a bit at how much fun they had that day, even though he did dunk Shuichi under the water till he nearly passed out. He pulled the baka up when he began to cease his frantic movements. He would never kill Shuichi no matter how angry he was.
"Shuichi....you Baka." He open his current story and stared at the documant waiting for his muse to kick in........and waited.....until he realized he couldn't write. It was to quiet. "Oh well..." he shut down the computer and leaned back in his leather chair staring out the window. Shuichi would be pleading for him to take a walk with him considering it was a beautiful summer day. It wasn't to hot and a cool breeze disturbed the leaves on the trees.
Finally he stood and went to the door slipping on his shoes. He was going to go help Hisoka and Tsuzuki. He couldn't stand sitting around and doing nothing while every minute only lessened the chances of him ever finding his Shuichi again.
