Why the hell was he here?
Zoro had spotted the blond student council president as soon as he had entered the gymnasium…out of his peripheral vision...in the middle of the warm-up kendo match.
He had entered like he owned the place and encircled with the schools cheerleaders to boot. He was also holding some sort of box. The fact he noticed all this told the swordsman how much THAT guy annoyed him. He wasn’t exactly his rival…just someone who was always around, challenging him with his snide comments…making him feel uneasy.
Zoro stalked over to Sanji the second the match ended in his favor. It hadn’t taken more than an instant.
“Couldn’t you keep your flirting contained to the student council room?”
“Hmmmm? What was that? As student council President I have to go to many activities…I would rather skip. I mean I see enough of your ugly mug in class. This is the finals though- so don’t embarrass the school to badly.”
“Pft…the only embarrassment is that our president is such an idiot.”
Sanji leaned in obvious threat, reminding the kendo captain that that he wasn’t a slouch at fighting himself, and Zoro returned in kind.
“What was that?” but as Sanji started to shift into position for a better leverage only to remember the box he was holding and quickly straightened to not jostle the box.
“What’s that?”
“A prize! The winner from our school gets fresh lemonade, made by hands (none of that fake crap) and some of my best baked goodies!” Sanji said with obvious pride. Zoro peeked an eye in the box and couldn’t help but be a little impressed at the chance…this guys cooking was something of a legend around the school and he had never had the chance to try it.
“Sit your ass down…and try not to be too distracting. I’ll be back for this.”
Sanji smirked as Zoro stomped away, lowering his mask for the first official match of the tournament. If the idiot was weak enough to lose against someone else, of course Sanji wouldn’t have bothered in showing up, let alone providing a “prize”. The fact the idiot didn’t get that made it all the more fun.
