Chap 6 Proving Strength

Zoro was not exactly happy about this. "Hold on Luffy, if he's gonna join he needs to prove how strong he is." Zoro drew his swords.

"Iron Body!" Zoro's slashes struck Koby but his body was well protected.

Zoro got ready to set up another attack, and Koby planned an attack as well. Luffy knew that the two were sizing each other up, they knew that there attacks were equal in power, however Koby doesn't have the battle experience Zoro has.

The two rushed at one another Koby readied the finger pistol, and Zoro readied his own powerful strike. When they clashed Zoro was able to deflect Koby's finger pistol, but not enough and Koby clipped his shoulder. Koby at the last second used Iron Body, Zoro struck him and the two parted.

"You really are an amazing swordsman, even with Iron Body I could feel you strikes, I lose." Koby collapsed from the force of Zoro's strikes.

Zoro clutched his shoulder and fell to his knees. "You idiot, that was a pretty clean hit not bad." Zoro expected Luffy to run to Koby, but instead the shadow boy came over to him.

"Shadow Shadow Bandage." Luffy bandaged Zoro's shoulder.

"Zoro are you okay?" Luffy asked a worried look in his eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine Luffy." Zoro said a blush on his cheeks. Luffy breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good." Luffy turned to look at Koby, he knew Koby was okay just knocked out. When he woke up he was happy to tell him that he was gonna get to join his crew. "Koby's pretty tough right Zoro?"

"Yeah the kids good, and those powers of his may help us out big time." Zoro said and Luffy giggled. Luffy hugged him and whispered into his ear.

"Zoro you don't need to be jealous, our nakama will be big, but you are my first Zoro no one will ever take your place." Luffy kissed him, and Zoro moaned into the kiss.

The boys stole some stuff from Alvida's ship and they headed off to the next island. Alvida swore revenge for all the treasure, clothes and booze that was stolen from her.
