Warning
There is brief F/F in this chapter. It wasn’t really intentional, but I thought it would be funny so I put it in. I figure I better warn you now though since I don’t normally do F/F, but I might make a few comments about it here or there just for the guys in this story since most of the guys I know personally like a little F/F action. Laxus and Fried took Lila to their house. It was a rather large home with tons of books and magical items. The collections were massive and Lila was impressed. Most of the magical items were things to enhance Laxus’ lightning magic and others were special things just for Fried that Laxus had collected. It had looked odd for a little while when it grew back, but now Laxus could run his fingers through those long tresses.
Fried took off his jacket and hung it up as did Laxus who bid Lila to sit on the couch as Laxus sat Fried on his lap as he got to know Lila all over again asking a billion questions about this guy she had danced for and what rooms he regularly went into. There had to be a way to get to him.
They did not have much time so Laxus spent the rest of the night seducing Lila as for a change he and Fried stripped for her. They did however have a demon problem at the club since somehow a demon did get into the club that night around the time Prince Shiro had arrived there. The demon had possessed one of the dancers and it seemed to float on energy waves. It wasn’t a actual form of demon it was some kind of strange magic from a particular substance they had found in the room where this stripper had been. The substance was placed in a holding spell in a jar in the back room. Master Harlequin asked if the wizards would mind taking a look at it to see if they could dispel it since Master Harlequin did not want his girls to be possessed by it.
Lacy had almost killed a client and had been devastated when Master Harlequin had to do a purification spell on her to get the demon out. Master Harlequin normally knew how to remove demons, but he had never seen this kind of possession before and not from a mere substance such as this.
Loke took a look at the substance in the glowing jar. It looked to be some kind of blood. It was red and it glowed with demonic energy. It seemed to make the whole jar turn blackish purple as it tried to get free.
“This is all of it?”
Loke asked Master Harlequin who nodded yes since he made sure he got it all although they searched the whole club and every client to make sure none of them had brought it in with them. They also searched the ceiling and every room. No one seemed to know where it came from.
“Well it could have been brought in by a client the day before and sat overnight. Do you remember who was in the room the night before?”
Loke inquired since he knew someone had to have it on their person to bring it into this club.
“Well Charlie was in there, but you know Charlie. The man is harmless and sweet. Charlie rarely comes in though much anymore since money wise he can’t afford it since he hasn’t gotten the jobs like he used to. I told Charlie he did not have to pay next time since we like seeing him and he is an old friend of ours, but you know Charlie. He won’t do anything unless he pays for it fair and square.”
Master Harlequin said as Loke sighed since Charlie would be the last person he could think of that would bring in a demon substance like this unless it was unintentional which was always possible. Charlie wasn’t a regular so it would not be easy to track him down and although the guy was mousy looking, everyone liked him. Charlie never had sex with any of the girls seeing them as his family which was why he came in to the club. He paid to visit family and even to Loke that seemed wrong, but that was Charlie. Charlie wanted to contribute to the girls.
“I did not know Shiro was my brother. I haven’t seen him in years other than when he would disappear here behind the curtains of one of the rooms. Why did he never tell me he was my brother?”
Lila asked since she would have loved to spend time with her brother.
“He could not reveal himself lest he also suffer banishment my dear. I tried to get him to visit with you, but he said he would simply put money into your savings so you could end this shameful life and find a home of your own. I know you want to stay with us Lila so I put your money away for you until someday you retire, but your brother is right. This is no life for a Princess. I know you see us as your family and you will always have a home here so do not think I will throw you out, but someday I hope you will leave this place to a better life. You would always be able to come visit us any time you wanted, please think about your future. It is not here.”
Master Harlequin said to the young woman he saw as a daughter. Fried and Laxus knew what they had to do for Lila and hoped to convince her to come be with them. They would take good care of her and give her a home with a new family at Fairy Tale.
Lila nodded as she thought about her brother and the fact he was coming here just to see her. Why wouldn’t he talk to her? There was no crime in that and no one would know.
“I want to stay for a while longer Master Harlequin. I need to be here and maybe someday my brother will talk to me again. I guess Father will never forgive me.”
Lila said softly as a tear poured down her cheek. She had been promised to Prince Henry before she met Banzan her true love. Banzan was not really a peasant he was a squire for one of the knights of her kingdom. Banzan had been so handsome and sweet. No Prince would marry a woman who was not a virgin.
“Don’t fret dear, at least one member of your family comes to check on you. Hopefully someday he will talk to you again. Shiro does love you child.”

It was the hardest thing to deal with and still love them even with the pain of being removed from them. Laxus’ Father Ivan was a complete and utter bastard also, but Laxus still loved him even if the man never forgave him for turning his back on him for trying to kill him. Laxus would never go to the side of evil and would always stand by his Grandfather’s side.
“That sounds fair to me. Just make sure you get rid of it and if you will continue the investigation of this substance to see where it originated from that would be worth letting you receive a VIP pass for a private room for yourself and for a few guests. If you kill whatever brought that I will give you quite the reward for your work. I wish to protect my girls and I will do so by any means possible.’
“Thank you again Loke for the charms. I will not need the rare one, but perhaps if you would be so kind to let me use the Luck of the Lion one again sometime perhaps I will allow your friends to throw you a bachelor party worth talking about here at my club.”
Master Harlequin said with a wink to Loke who smiled since he did plan on marrying Lucy sometime in the near future and he was good friends with Master Harlequin. As long as the guys did not start a fight here than he would bring them to this club.

With Erza’s bright red hair Lucy was glad she had a bright red lipstick to match since it did not necessarily look good on her, but it would look good on Erza. It took a good twenty minutes for Lucy to get the look she wanted on Erza since she had to make sure the eye shadow wasn’t too dark or made Erza look trashy. Picking a soft golden color with dark brown to emphasize those eyes Lucy was pleased and had Erza look at herself when she was done. Erza really liked it and Lucy promised Erza they would go shopping together next time to pick up the makeup for her since Erza normally went without it.
Levy’s wedding dress was really cute and really simple. It consisted of a slip like dress that went just above the knees all in white with little sparkling beads in a flower pattern throughout it. She also wore flats with little sparkling toes. It was so Levy and she looked so pretty.
For jewelry, Levy was wearing dangling earrings with little stars on them, a tiny necklace with a simple round crystal and bangle bracelets on her wrists. Lucy helped Levy with her hair curling most of it and taking out the usual headband for a pair of jeweled combs she had in her jewelry box. Levy also had a little veil to go over her head as Lucy secured that on.
Erza had a tiara on her head and she handed Lucy the veil that would pin to the back of her bun and cascade down behind her like a fountain of white with little jewels in it. The brides were now about ready as Lucy did Levy’s makeup putting a soft blue eye shadow onto Levy’s eyes using mainly pinks to make Levy look absolutely stunning. Levy looked at herself in the mirror not quite recognizing herself. She looked beautiful.
Lucy then did her own makeup and put on her strappy high heeled shoes as she sat having tea with Levy and Erza. Soon everyone started to show up with Mirajane already dressed with her makeup on only needing to have her hair curled since she had it up in a long ponytail. Cana was there with Lisanna, Juvia, Wendy as a flower girl, Bisca, and Kinana.
As the girls got ready Natsu finally came back rushing in ignoring the girls who were dressing’s screams and went straight to Erza to tell her Jellal was here and Gajeel was on his way. Gajeel just had to drop off the item he got for the job he was on and collect the reward.
Erza thanked Natsu and sent him to go make sure Gray was dressed and not sitting around in his boxers again. Natsu’s new job was keeping clothing on his boyfriend and if he could not do that then Erza was going to kill them both. Of course when Natsu found Gray at the bar of the guild the guy was already half naked not realizing he had taken off his shirt already as he downed a beer while talking to Jellal getting to know the guy better.
When Gray went to take off one of his shoes, Natsu tackled him and the two ended up starting a brawl in the bar as the whole place ended up in shambles by the time they were done with Jellal doing his best to stay out of it since he did not want his expensive clothes to be ruined. By the time they were done Gray was in his boxers again with no shoes or socks on as Natsu helped him find all of his clothing making sure Gray put it all back on including the jacket and tie. If Natsu had to wear a fucking jacket and tie than so did Gray. Loke arrived just as everyone was cleaning up the bar for the reception with his gifts for both Levy and Erza putting them in the pile of gifts for the two couples.
Gajeel showed up finally wearing a tuxedo with black tie and cummerbund of all things with his long hair slicked back and pulled into a low ponytail. He looked completely different and seemed a little nervous. He had used the money he got from this job for the rings, but he only had one best man and that was Panther Lily. He did not have anyone else to share this day with, the most important day of his life.
Jellal had his own best man from his guild Crime Sorcière with him. It was Jellal’s best friend and second in command Victor who happened to be an expert in demon magic. Victor sat next to Jellal with his short black hair spiked and wore a rather interesting wizard’s robe for the wedding. It was long and purple with silver runes throughout it. Victor was a bit older than Jellal with a very serious face and beautiful violet eyes that looked like pure amethysts. He was a handsome man with only one flaw, a scar that went across his right cheek. Natsu really liked Victor and spent time getting to know him while fighting to keep Gray from taking off his clothing.
Gajeel went to go sit down with Natsu and Gray for a change to get to know Jellal for a bit when Natsu went to say something to him only for Gray to tell Natsu to shut up. Natsu couldn’t stand Gajeel, but the guy seemed kind of lonely and although Jet and Droy were now friendly with the guy Natsu did not get what people saw in him. Natsu laid his head on the table bored out of his mind as he wanted to fight with Gajeel not be friendly with the guy. However Gajeel was actually kind of a nice guy when he wasn’t being a complete and utter tool.
Natsu did not trust Gajeel to throw him, but he figured it was probably a dragon slayer thing since Natsu also couldn’t stand Laxus. There was just something about another dragon slayer in his presence that pissed him off. However as Gajeel spoke with Jellal about his past he found that both he and Gajeel had a lot in common. They were both raised by dragons and they were both searching for their dragon Fathers.
As the guys talked Natsu gave up on trying to save Gray from getting naked for a while as Gray took off his tie and then started unbuttoning his shirt unconsciously. Victor watched this in amusement since Gray seemed completely unaware of what he was doing. Also the boy was good looking so he did not mind seeing a bit of flesh. Natsu did stop Gray from taking off his pants, shoes, and socks but even Gajeel started noting that Gray was not really undressing on purpose. It was a habit formed from years of living with Ur. Plus it was hot out and Jellal took off his jacket since it was hot to him too with Gajeel finally taking off his jacket as well.
Natsu finally started talking to Gajeel about Igneel a bit and his time with Igneel as a kid finding out that they were basically the same in their training. Gajeel had an item from Metalicana that he showed Natsu. It was a special coin that was to bring him luck that was made of purified iron. Natsu told Gajeel he wore the scarf that was from Igneel at all times so that was why he always looked like he was preparing for winter. As the dragon slayers got to know one another better Natsu forgot to watch Gray who was now sitting in his boxers without his shoes on. They had about an hour before the wedding so the guys pretty much decided to drink beer the whole time while talking which got Natsu slightly drunk.
Victor decided he just had to get to know Gray better since the boy without his clothing was a sight for sore eyes. He was so nicely built and was the sexiest thing he had seen in a long time. However there was a mark that seemed familiar on the boy’s throat. It was that of a red dragon and the tattoo was beautiful. It looked exactly like a dragon rather than a normal tattoo. Natsu roared at Victor who stopped doing the spell feeling bad since now he realized what that marking was. His spell was only to inquire not to harm, but apparently the dragon on his neck was sending out warning signs to his mate that his beloved was in danger.
“I was just doing an inquiry spell. I forgot what that marking meant; I promise I did not mean any harm.”
Victor said apologetically. Natsu threw Gray’s clothing at him making him dress since now he had to protect him. Gajeel knew how Natsu felt since he could feel the pull of the dragon power within telling him a mate of a dragon was in danger. It was instinctual.
“Next time ask. I don’t know where you come from pal, but here we don’t do spells on people unless we know them and if you ever pull a stunt like that again I will personally rip your head off.”
Natsu said angrily as this time Gray found himself on Natsu’s lap as Natsu nuzzled Gray who was becoming embarrassed by his boyfriend. Natsu however did not care what Gray wanted since he had to make sure his beloved was safe. Laxus arrived looking at Natsu in concern. The three dragon slayers may not like each other most of the time, but no one threatened one of their own without consequences.
Fried had the jar with the substance in his hand as he regarded Gray who was now mush in Natsu’s arms as Natsu kept licking that mating mark letting his mate know he was there for him. It was a warm fuzzy feeling this time rather than arousing. It was that of a mate loving him and protecting him. Gajeel thought about Levy and marking her as his mate tonight. Victor looked at the substance in Fried’s hand. He was an expert on demons and demon magic so he had seen this before. It was something from a dead demon that carried a nasty spell from it. He could help break the spell if they knew where the body of the demon was otherwise that substance would have to remain in the jar with a much more powerful purification spell than what was on it.
“May I see that jar for a moment?”
Victor asked Laxus since if he had asked Fried he might have gotten his head knocked off since right now the dragon slayers did not trust him with their mates.
Laxus took the substance from Fried and handed the jar to Victor. Jellal knew what this substance was and wondered what demon it came from. It seemed like a part of one of Zeref’s demons with how black the jar was with the red tinge to it.
Victor did a much more powerful purification spell to the jar and the substance backed down a bit more so that Victor could get a good look at it. Then he realized this was leftover from the demon Deliora. It was a particular type of demon and the smell alone said it was quite old.
“Tell me do any of you know where the remains of Deliora are? I can get rid of this if I know where to find him.”
Victor said and Gray told him the remains were on Galuna Island. He did not know if they were even worth going to see since there was not much left of the demon on the demon island, but they were more than welcome to go see it after the wedding of course. Gray was of course saying this in between moments of feeling slightly dizzy from Natsu’s constant licking of his mating mark and trying to rack his brain to tell Natsu to cut it out already.
Natsu finally finished comforting his mate, well as far as he was concerned that was what he was doing and finally allowed Gray to sit on his own since they only had a few minutes before they had to go outside to prepare for this wedding. The group all decided they would go to the island together since Gray and Natsu knew where this place was that the demon remains were kept and that way Victor could insure no more of this substance was in the area. Usually it was a small amount that attached itself to a host so unless someone actually went to the island they would not have had this substance upon them. Also they would have to be near the remains. Depending on the size of the demon the substance would react either much more violently or would be easy to subdue after the remains were purified by fire. Once the purification was done the substance would simply dissolve on its own. Either way it was not going to leave the jar.
