Disclaimer: I don't own Heaven's Lost Property or any of the characters (save any OCs I bring in). This does have romance in it, and it may get rated R, so be warned. There IS some swearing in this story, so beware of that. Remember that the Heaven's Lost Property series was designed for kids, so they made sure no swearing made it into the show. This author is more realistic though. I sincerely doubt that when one of his Angeloids were hurt, Tomoki would just get angry, it is this author's belief he'd be infuriated.

I am finally starting to work on HLP once more. This will be a somewhat more fun chapter, but will have some serious moments as well within. I hope you all enjoy and will continue to read as more chapters are uploaded.

For the unanswered Private messages, I will say the following: Asuka is a main character of this story alongside Tomoki himself. They may be the same person, but the way Tomoki acts as Asuka is different. It is through this persona that he is learning what a girl truly goes through.

To clarify something Asuka said in the last chapter. She will be in her transformed state a lot more than she is in her natural state. This is by her choice because she likes not feeling awkward around the Angeloids and Sohara. This does not mean that Tomoki himself won't be in the story again, far from it. However in general, he will remain as Asuka unless he feels the need to change back to his natural form.

As another note - This entire chapter takes place in one single night. This is intentional as the past twenty four hours have been a huge development for them.

Finally there is another lemon in this chapter. It is longer and more detailed than the one in the last chapter. The last chapter's lemon had to be quick as they were supposed to be in class. Here, they have no time constraints.

Chapter 6: Mirror of Truth

A few hours after the SUV had been revealed to the Angeloids and Sohara, Asuka was sitting in her room with Astrea sitting across from her. Both of them looked fairly nervous as Ikaros and Nymph walked in with Cecilia behind them.

Cecilia said, "As this is an Angeloid matter, I asked Sohara to wait outside. She said it was fine. As you three are aware, my mission revolves around figuring out Astrea's intentions behind breaking her bonds to Mithos. As such, I requested to be present when the imprinting process was fully completed."

Asuka asked, "I'm guessing it wasn't fully completed because of the fact I was in a disguise at the time."

Nymph said, "That's right Asuka, we will have to make the disguise go away to complete it."

Asuka took out the hair tie and made certain anything else that she wanted to keep was off her body. She said, "Do I have to strip for this part?"

Nymph said, "Unless you want the clothes to disappear and not come back, yes Asuka."

Asuka sighed and slipped out of her clothes and stood in front of them. She blushed from them staring at her and asked, "Can we just hurry this up?"

Ikaros held up a card and Asuka shook on the spot then fell to one knee as she began to change. Her hair shortened and turned black and her feminine form became more masculine. When it was all done, Tomoki was standing there.

Cecilia looked at him then said, "He doesn't look half bad as a guy, does he?"

Nymph said, "I suppose not, but I doubt he wants you eyeing him like that Theta."

Cecilia stared at Nymph and said, "Watch it Beta!"

Tomoki said, "Now you two, behave. Astrea come here please."

Astrea moved close to him and found herself flushed as she was so close to him when he was wearing nothing on his body. She shakily said, "Beginning Imprinting Process." The chain stretched to his hand and this time it fully solidified. She felt a surge go through her body as the commands and connections were made. Her entire body heated up as thoughts and memories of Tomoki as well as Asuka filled her head. She gasped out as the kiss came to her mind and she wrapped her wings around herself, but kept the chain visible. Finally she started to breathe normally and said, "Master, it is done. To test it, give me an order."

Tomoki said, "Astrea, I don't really want to give you an order."

Nymph said, "Unlike Alpha, Delta actually requires a command to validate the connection. You have to give her an order you would generally not give out."

Tomoki groaned and said, "Do I really have to?"

Nymph said, "Yes you do Tomoki."

Tomoki looked to Cecilia and asked, "No judging?"

Cecilia said, "This one is free, however don't order her to do anything stupid like kill anyone."

Tomoki looked at Astrea then said, "Alright then I will give her an order. Astrea, strip in front of me and hug me close to you."

Astrea gasped and said, "Yes Master." She stood up and slipped out of her shirt then took off the bra and let it fall to the ground. She dropped the skirt and her panties as well then she drew Tomoki close to her and held him against her body.

Tomoki sighed and put his arms around her waist and held her close. He whispered, "Astrea, I won't let anyone hurt you or any of the other Angeloids."

Nymph flushed and said, "Well now, I didn't expect that kind of an order, naughty Tomoki strikes again!"

Tomoki said, "Actually this is as far as it is going Nymph. If something like that does happen between myself and any Angeloid or human, I want us all to be in agreement of it happening beforehand."

Astrea softly said, "But I don't want to move right now, can I stay like this for a bit longer? I-haven't been held like this by anyone."

Tomoki said, "Very well, but only for a little while."

Cecilia smiled and said, "Well, I didn't think that Delta was perverted, but maybe she is."

Nymph said, "I don't think it is that Theta. Delta has a huge amount of emotional capacity, even more than my programming. If she hasn't been given any close affection such as this before, it may be that her system needs to register the closeness and even adapt to it so she can serve Tomoki and Asuka better."

Cecilia said, "Very probable." She waited a good five minutes then cleared her throat, "Isn't that long enough you two?"

Astrea asked, "May I move away Master?"

Tomoki smiled and then moved them apart and stared into her ruby eyes and said, "Yes you may Astrea. I know I never say this to you Angeloids, but you are all very beautiful. It isn't just for your beauty that I love you all though."

Ikaros asked, "Then why do you love us all so much Master?"

Tomoki said, "I will explain in a moment, but I'd like to get back in my transformed state."

Ikaros nodded and said, "Nymph, let's activate the card and change Master back into Asuka."

Nymph said, "Tomoki, this new transformation will use two cards instead of one. It means that even if you get extremely excited, you won't change back."

Tomoki blinked and asked, "Is there anything that would change me back?"

Nymph smiled and said, "No, there is nothing save you wishing to change back. From now on, the transformation cannot be reversed unless you order it of us."

Tomoki blushed as the two Angeloids held up the cards and he felt his body warping again. His hair lengthened and returned to it's lavender color and his eyes changed to their stunning violet color. His body changed back to feminine and after a few minutes, he opened his eyes and looked in the mirror and saw Asuka staring back at him.

Asuka smiled and said, "Thank you." She slipped back on her clothes and tied her hair back up the way it was then looked at Astrea who was still sitting there naked. She gasped and said, "I'm so sorry Astrea, I thought I said it was fine to get dressed."

Astrea jumped and changed back into her clothes as quickly as possible.

Nymph sighed and helped Astrea get her bra back into proper position and said, "Honestly Delta, when he said you could let go of him, he also meant you could get changed and that the order was over."

Astrea flushed and said, "I guess I'm still learning when his orders end."

Cecilia said, "Odd, why didn't you do more to her Asuka?"

Asuka blinked then asked, "What do you mean?"

Cecilia said, "You were in a male form, fully naked and holding a very attractive female Angeloid in your arms who was also naked. Most males would want to go a lot further than just holding her."

Asuka said, "Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted. All of the Angeloids as well as Sohara are really beautiful, that includes you Cecilia."

Cecilia flushed for a moment then asked, "Well why didn't you?"

Asuka said, "Honestly, it's because I could tell that it wasn't what Astrea wanted. I didn't even have to ask if she would enjoy it, I knew at this point in time, she wouldn't. Maybe it's because I became her master."

Cecilia smiled and said, "It would seem you are a decent person."

Asuka said, "Hardly, had it been a year ago, I probably wouldn't have been able to resist the urge."

Astrea said, "Well I AM an attractive one right?"

Asuka laughed and said, "That you are, come on let's get some dinner. I know you Astrea and you're probably-"

They heard Astrea's stomach growl and even Cecilia couldn't stop herself from laughing. She calmed herself then said, "Delta, I still have yet to hear of your reasoning behind breaking your chain to Mithos."

Astrea said, "Later, I'm starving!" She ran out of the room quickly.

Asuka said, "Don't bother, when she's hungry Cecilia. Nothing gets through to her at that moment."

Cecilia sighed and went into the living room.

Ikaros said, "It is still sometimes strange to see my master looking like this."

Nymph said, "I know, but it is kind of liberating you know?"

Ikaros said, "I suppose so, still I miss master's normal form."

Nymph elbowed her playfully, "What you wanted to see him in the buff?"

Ikaros said, "W-what? No!"

Nymph laughed and said, "Come on Asuka, let's leave Alpha to her fantasies." She walked out with Asuka.

Ikaros called, "It isn't like that Nymph!"

Sohara stood when she saw Astrea walk in and asked, "You alright?"

Astrea said, "I've never been better. I feel like I'm alive for the first time in many years!"

Sohara's eyes narrowed and asked, "You two didn't-"

Astrea blinked for a moment then said, "Oh no, we didn't! I could tell he wanted to though, but he restrained himself and changed back into Asuka."

Sohara giggled and said, "Well he is a boy. Being that close to a nude Angeloid would stir up those kinds of thoughs, right?"

Astrea said, "I guess, come on let's eat!"

Sohara couldn't help laughing and said, "I finished making dinner while you were all in there."

Astrea raced to the table and sat down to await Asuka and the others.

Sohara smiled then called, "Dinner is served everyone, come get it while it's still hot."

Cecilia came out next and sat down to wait for dinner. Nymph came out with Asuka next with a huge grin on her face.

Sohara asked, "What is it?"

Nymph said, "Oh you'll see in a moment."

The bedroom door flew off its hinges and Ikaros was standing there glaring at them. She said, "I was NOT fantasizing about him Nymph, take it back already!"

Nymph said, "I'm not going to take it back Alpha. I know you well enough to know when thoughts such as those enter your head."

Ikaros said, "But I didn't-"

Asuka laughed and said, "Ikaros, she's just teasing you. It's fine."

Ikaros sat down with a blank expression on her face, but that was hardly anything new.

Sohara asked, "Nymph, what exactly happened?"

Nymph whispered what had happened and Sohara gasped, "He was holding her with them both naked and nothing happened?"

Cecilia said, "Surprised me as well to be honest. It would appear that Asuka genuinely cares for everyone around her."

Asuka said, "I told you as much Cecilia. Now that you are with us, that extends to you as well."

Cecilia said, "But you don't even know if I'm your enemy or not."

Sohara said, "And your point would be what exactly? We didn't know if Astrea would turn out to be our enemy and he still treated her with care and compassion. It wasn't just because Mithos is a jackass that she broke those chains you know."

Astrea took a bite of her meal and after she had eaten some, she said, "That's right, Asuka's care and devotion towards all of us was also a factor. She genuinely showed kindness towards me, even taking her enemy into her home and treating her like a dear loved one. How could I fulfill a mission to harm someone so decent?"

Asuka said, "What is inexcusable is how Mithos treated you two. I swear he will pay for those crimes one day." She shook slightly on the spot until Astrea moved over to her and put her arms around Asuka from behind.

She held Asuka tenderly and said, "It is alright Asuka, that part our lives is over now. I am your Angeloid now and no one will take me away from you."

Ikaros' wings flared up and she said, "You are not his only Angeloid, don't act like you are!"

Nymph looked at her and asked, "What's the matter Alpha, jealous?"

Ikaros lowered her wings and said, "No, I just do not like it when someone acts like that. We are all in this together after all."

Nymph said, "Why don't you just admit it Alpha? You're jealous of the attention Delta and I receive."

Ikaros said, "But I'm not Nymph!"

Sohara said, "Whether Ikaros is jealous or not is beside the point. What is the point is that we know that eventually Epsilon will come here."

Nymph asked, "How do you figure?"

Astrea murmured, "The fact that I betrayed Mithos means that he will send another Angeloid to attempt to finish the job I was supposed to perform. I can think of no one more suited to that task than Epsilon. I thought she wasn't complete yet though?"

Asuka leaned back so that she was resting against Astrea and said, "If she comes, we will figure it out. Can anyone tell me what she looks like?"

Cecilia said, "A lot like me actually. Her original design was to have the same hair color as mine, however from what I heard before I left the Synapse is that her hair color was being altered to be a dirty blonde color."

Asuka asked, "What about her age?"

Cecilia said, "She is designed to start looking like a child, then to grow fairly rapidly as she gains experience in a new environment."

Sohara said, "So, she will grow into a teenager relatively fast. Does her aging process stop at that?"

Cecilia said, "According to the specifications, yes. She should stop around the age you are Sohara."

Sohara said, "Still, I can't help but worry about what will happen when she shows up. Will she just go berserk right away?"

Cecilia said, "Probably not. Epsilon may be an all powerful weapon, but she is also very naive. She has no idea what emotions are, or which ones are positive or negative. She is unlike most other Angeloids in the aspect that she has no master from the Synapse. No one from there can control her, only a human can."

Asuka blinked and said, "A human? I wonder who her handler will be?"

Cecilia said, "At first, she will have no handler, much like I don't. The one thing I know about Epsilon is that she respects strength first and will have a desire to learn about emotions second. If a human can fulfill defeating her in battle and teach her emotions, she will bond with that human."

Sohara wiped her forehead and said, "But that's insane, what human could go up against a second generation in combat?"

Cecilia said, "I didn't say the human has to fight her, rather she has to be defeated in combat. It is only then that she will listen to what a human has to say."

Nymph said, "In otherwords Sohara, what Theta is saying is that we have to defeat her in battle before anything else. That won't be easy."

Cecilia finished eating then said, "If you will excuse me, I am going to take a bath. Asuka, could you join me please? I need someone to teach me what the shampoos and other things are that a girl uses."

Asuka blinked and asked, "Me? But I have only been a girl for a short while."

Cecilia cleared her throat and said, "If you would come with me."

Astrea drew her sword and asked, "Are your intentions foul or good right now Cecilia? If any harm comes to my master, I will have your head on the wall of my room as a trophy!"

Cecilia paled and said, "I honestly have no ill intentions towards Asuka. I just want to learn a few things and continue our conversation while having a shower."

Asuka said, "Are you sure about this? You know-"

Cecilia said, "This is also a part of my mission, to ascertain your behaviors and prove that you are not dangerous to Angeloids."

Asuka sighed and said, "Fine, but I'd like Astrea to join us as well. Besides, I have to take care of her wings, they are starting to get a little droopy. Oh and Nymph, would you come in afterwards to take care of my wings?"

Nymph smiled and said, "Yes I will, just don't have too much fun in there you three."

Astrea grinned and said, "We won't, I hope..." She led the two of them into the bathroom.

Sohara whispered, "Are you sure they will be fine in there?"

Nymph said, "Yes I'm certain. Asuka's transformation is foolproof now and this will be a very good test. She will be in there, having a shower with two attractive Angeloids. If this doesn't break the transformation, nothing will."

After about half an hour of showering, Asuka stepped out of the shower and dried her hair with a towel. She stretched happily and said, "Well that was a good shower, thanks for cleaning my back Astrea."

Astrea said, "Anytime, you know I like to help you Master."

Asuka said, "Remember that in this form, you call me Asuka, not Master."

Astrea said, "Oh that's right, I forgot." She got out of the shower and began to dry off as well.

Asuka went behind her and took a bit of the wing care gel onto her hands and rubbed it into the base of Astrea's wings.

Astrea let out a gasp and then closed her eyes as a tingling sensation went over her entire body. She let out a happy moan of enjoyment as the feeling spread to the tips of her wings then settled down. She flicked her wings softly and they started to glow once more and the feathers were revitalized as good as new.

Asuka blinked as she had seen the reaction and wondered if it caused some form of pleasure in Angeloids with this gel. She said, "Alright Cecilia, your turn."

Cecilia blinked then said, "But mine are metallic, won't that stuff do nothing to them?" She had poked her head out when she had heard Astrea let out the moan.

Asuka said, "We won't know until we try, now get out here and dry off. Your body needs to be dry before it goes in or it won't work."

Cecilia sighed and stepped out and flicked her metallic looking wings and then dried herself off.

Asuka went behind her now and put some on the base of her wings and saw the same effect spread through Cecilia's wings now.

Cecilia bit her lip as the sensation felt amazing. She had never used wing care before so she hadn't known it felt this good to have her wings get revitalized. She shook slightly on the spot from the sensations then finally she roused herself from the state. She whispered, "That actually feels amazing, I wonder if it is supposed to evoke emotional responses such as this."

Asuka said, "I think it is supposed to. I mean these wings are attached to the muscles and nerves in the back, so it only makes sense that restoring them like this would cause the body to react in a blissful manner. You seemed to enjoy that a little too much Cecilia."

Cecilia flushed and said, "W-well that was my first time using that, so I had no idea what to expect. I didn't even think it would work on my wings."

Asuka ran her fingers along Cecilia's wings and said, "No wonder, have you ever taken a close look at your wings?"

Cecilia blinked then asked, "What do you mean? They are made of metal, end of story!"

Asuka shook her head and said, "No, they aren't Cecilia. I noticed it when we were showering, they turned into metallic looking feathers. When they get wet, the wings revert to a feathery form, but still with a metallic shine to them. The feathers are much smaller than the other Angeloids, but even in that state, they can still turn into blades and be used as weapons, but because they transform into a feather format, they would still need the wing care formula. Does Epsilon have the same wings as yours?"

Cecilia shook her head and said, "Hers are a purple metal and don't turn into feathers in the water, they stay purely metallic."

Asuka said, "The wing care would still work on her though, it would revitalize the metal as they are attached to her back. This stuff really is amazing, I will have to find out where Nymph got it."

Cecilia asked, "What made you start to love the Angeloids so much Asuka?"

Asuka said, "It all started when I first met Ikaros. She seemed so much like a doll that it was a little bit scary. I knew that she was different as she was able to fly at speeds that no creature should be able to fly. That was my first clue that she was a weapon. I thought it was a terrible burden for her to be a living weapon. She has such a kind heart and loves animals and plants so much. She adopted a watermelon for crying out loud. Now, I am happy she is a weapon though. She can help protect people who are in danger. I guess my desire to protect her was what started it all."

Cecilia asked, "Then that feeling only grew when Beta arrived."

Asuka nodded and said, "When Nymph arrived, I didn't know what to think about her at first. She was foul mouthed and honestly a brat."

Nymph had her hand on the door and heard this, but decided to listen more.

Asuka said, "That said, I sensed a deep sorrow in her that I couldn't shake away. I wanted to help her so badly. I honestly didn't know how to do it though, so I just tried to be there for her. Eventually, a bomb was planted into her collar and then her wings were ripped off. I arrived too late to stop that from happening, so in desperation with my friends, we shattered her chain. This also cut off the bomb from reaching its detonation signal. Sugata then removed the bomb from her collar. When Astrea showed up, I was worried yet again. Here was an Angeloid whose sole mission was to kill me."

Astrea put her arms around Asuka and whispered, "But we know how that turned out, don't we?"

Asuka smiled and said, "Yes Astrea, you turned on your master because his orders were unjust and cruel. You shattered his control over you and probably caused him quite the shock. I'm proud of you and Nymph for everything you have accomplished."

Nymph slowly opened the door and wiped her eyes. She said, "Even without my wings, you really do love me, don't you Asuka?"

Asuka looked to her, not really surprised that she was there. She had asked Nymph to come into the bathroom after the shower was over after all. She nodded and said, "Yes Nymph, I do. I love you, Astrea, Ikaros, and Sohara very much. I also care about Cecilia's happiness and well being."

Cecilia said, "Guess you haven't known me long enough to put me in with them."

Asuka said, "Not yet, no. That said, I won't let anyone hurt you either Cecilia."

Cecilia smiled and said, "That's all I needed to hear for now. Thank you, I am touched." She put on a pair of pajamas that Sohara had provided for her. They were a dark green that matched her hair perfectly and went over to Sohara. She looked at her and said, "Sohara, Asuka really loves all of you, doesn't she? I can tell it in the way she talks."

Sohara nodded and said, "I know she does. I never doubt that for a minute. Honestly, if you stay with us, those feelings will transfer to you as well."

Cecilia whispered, "Love huh? I never thought Angeloids could be loved as more than just mere tools. Asuka is truly one of a kind."

Sohara said, "It is ironic considering how she used to be. She snuck around peeping into girls changing rooms and locker rooms. Shortly after Ikaros arrived, she just stopped doing it. Said that she wanted to be a better person than that. I loved her back then and still do."

Cecilia sat back on the sofa and whispered, "I could get used to this level of affection."

Sohara said, "Then stay with us, it is the best feeling I have ever experienced. I feel safe and happy, she even saved me from being forced to move to a new city because of my parent's divorce. I was devastated by it, but Asuka wouldn't hear of me leaving her. She confronted my mother and made her back down. Not only that, she taught my mother a lesson in life. My mother gave her consent for me to live here and I moved in. Never have I looked back, nor would I want to. I know the Synapse may be the equivalent of heaven and hell at the same time, but this place is true happiness for me."

Cecilia said, "I hope that I too will understand this feeling in time."

Sohara looked to the bathroom where Nymph was rubbing the gel into Asuka's wings and watched as Asuka straightened and started a moan of her own. She was kind of surprised by the reaction and asked, "Did it happen that way for you as well?"

Cecilia nodded and said, "The gel seems to evoke a pleasure response from the Angeloid using it, or in Asuka's case her transformed state."

Sohara blushed at the thought and called, "Would you three please get dressed so Ikaros can have her shower? I have to use the gel on her next." She grinned deviously at a sudden thought she had.

Cecilia whispered, "What are you scheming exactly?"

Sohara whispered, "I want to see if this actually evokes a response out of Ikaros. She is so expressionless, so I have to wonder you know?"

Ikaros said, "I have grown accustomed to it Sohara."

Sohara jumped then said, "Hi Ikaros, I didn't see you there."

Ikaros said, "You weren't planning something inappropriate with Asuka were you?"

Sohara said, "No, actually I'm going to give you the gel today. I will make you show an expression one of these days Ikaros."

Nymph walked out of the bathroom in a sapphire pair of pajamas and said, "Unlikely, Alpha here has very little emotion capability. It would be surprising if she had a reaction."

Sohara asked, "Can't you just let me have some fun?"

Nymph sat on the couch and stared into Sohara's dark eyes then whispered, "Nope, Alpha has no emotional capacity. Therefore it won't really affect her much."

Astrea grinned and asked, "So what did you have planned for tomorrow Asuka? Huh?"

Asuka chuckled for a moment then said, "You'll see soon enough." She stood up and stretched in the lavender pajamas she was wearing before she said, "Oh that's right, Astrea, I promised you we'd go on a flight tonight."

Astrea pointed her finger at Asuka and said, "Damn right you did! You aren't backing out are you?"

Asuka laughed then said, "Let's see if you can actually catch me." She wagged her finger and said, "I've been training over the past six months after all." She ran to the door and opened it and said, "Catch me if you can blondie!" She unleashed her wings from the slits in the pajama tops and took off at full speed.

Astrea growled and said, "You aren't getting away that easily!" She took off as well and shot after Asuka.

Sohara sighed and said, "Even as a girl, she still has that competitive streak it would seem. Nymph, I think I have a surprise for when they return, but I'll need your help."

Nymph blinked but followed Sohara out of the room, leaving Ikaros and Cecilia alone.

Ikaros softly said, "My master may have let his guard down around you Cecilia, but I have not. This will be a warning to you, if you turn on him, I will destroy you without hesitation."

Cecilia said, "Is that supposed to scare me Alpha?"

Asuka was flying at around mach ten right now and spotted Astrea catching up. She laughed and said, "Is that the best you got blondie?"

Astrea growled and shot forward, increasing her speed to mach fourteen and was catching up fast.

Asuka grinned then concentrated and sped up to her maximum speed of mach sixteen. She had surpassed her original limitations and had found a way to keep up with the Angeloids. Of course she couldn't still compare to Ikaros' speed, but that would change once she worked on some more enhancements.

Astrea shouted, "Get back here you crazy Asuka!"

A man in the city of Los Angelos looked up and saw two streaks of light shoot by above him. He fell backward and dropped his hot dog on the street and thought, "What in the hell was that? They were too small to be planes."

Asuka spun and flew back past Astrea, causing the girl to spin around in her flight and try to catch up again. Asuka cried out, "What's the matter blondie, can't keep up with my agility?"

Astrea took off towards her at her maximum speed of mach eighteen. Her wings glowed brighter as she flew through the air. She was determined to catch Asuka at all costs now.

Asuka laughed then landed in the streets of L.A. It was then that she ran into a nearby store which had just opened for the morning.

A shopkeeper saw her then froze seeing the wings. She asked, "C-Can I help you?"

Asuka smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'm just here to shop."

Astrea burst into the store and cried out, "Asuka, there you are!"

Asuka turned and said, "Come on Astrea, I want to do a little clothes shopping." She pushed the blonde into a change room and stared into her ruby eyes and whispered, "Stay right here, I will find something great for you."

Astrea blinked as Asuka left the changing room. She thought, "I've been in places like this before, but why does it feel different somehow?"

Asuka came back with an attractive dark blue dress. She said, "Try that on, and let me know what you think of it. If you like it, I will get it modified for your wings."

Astrea was a little bit confused but changed out of her pajamas and put the dress on. She felt a hand on her back and found herself blushing at the contact.

Asuka slowly zipped the dress's zipper up and said, "It's really tight right?"

Astrea nodded and winced, "A bit too tight Asuka."

Asuka said, "Yes, but when your wings aren't inside, it will fit perfectly."

Astrea stripped once more and got back into her pajamas she had worn from home and let her wings out the slots. She sighed in relief at the lack of pressure and saw that Asuka had gone to the counter.

Asuka laughed softly and said, "No, we aren't. We were just born with the wings is all. Jealous?"

The girl said, "Extremely jealous."

Asuka said, "They are more trouble than you'd think. All of our clothes have to be altered to fit our bodies, otherwise the pressure is too much."

The girl said, "I see, do you want the dress you're buying to be modified as well? I can do that you know."

Asuka said, "The dress is for this blonde here, can you make certain it is ready?"

The girl took some measurements of Astrea's body and whispered, "Even her body is cute, wow. The dress will be ready in a few minutes." She made some alterations and soon there were perfect slits designed for Astrea's wings. She said, "That comes to $327.67."

Asuka pulled out the equivalent in yen and said, "Sorry, we just flew in from Japan, so this is all the kind of currency I have right now."

The girl counted it and found that it was the right amount, given the exchange rate and said, "Don't worry, I'll clear it with my boss. If I have to, I'll just take it to the bank and exchange it for dollars and pay it that way. You two are adorable together."

Asuka grinned and said, "She's one of my most valued friends and I wanted her to have a pretty dress." She bagged the dress and said, "Thank you very much." She bowed.

The girl blinked in surprise, then bowed back as the two winged girls left the store. She thought, "Wow, I wonder if I will ever see them again?"

Sohara climbed up onto the roof and sat next to her and said, "Are you worried for Asuka?"

Ikaros nodded and said, "She may not seem like our enemy, but we still do not know for certain she is being honest. If she is lying about her intentions, Master and Astrea could be in severe danger."

Cecilia called out, "I can HEAR you Alpha!"

Ikaros froze as Cecilia flew up from the yard and said, "If I wanted them dead, they'd be dead. Did you forget already that I am a second generation Angeloid? Sohara said, "That will do Cecilia. If you are not a threat to Asuka, then don't act that mean towards Ikaros."

Cecilia said, "I was not being intentionally cruel towards her. If Alpha has something to say, then say it."

Ikaros' eyes lit up and she stared at Cecilia then said, "Do not be cruel to others Theta. Master would not want that, nor do I."

Cecilia placed her hand on Ikaros' head and rubbed softly then said, "Finally you show something more than just a doll like expression. Good for you Alpha." She took off gently and went back to the yard.

Sohara whispered, "I think she did that on purpose Ikaros."

Ikaros said, "She was trying to help me. Maybe her intentions are to protect us after all."

Cecilia stared at her in surprise, then after a minute she followed Asuka into the bedroom that had been granted to her. Her eyes widened as she looked at the bed, there was an attractive leisure outfit waiting for her. It was a dark green color and had light green ribbon trailing from the sides. She picked it up and stared at it then asked, "Is this really for me?"

Asuka nodded and said, "Try it on tomorrow morning, I know it will fit. When Ikaros first arrived, I didn't know what colors she liked, so I got two outfits. One was a dark red with lighter red ribbons, the other was this green one."

Cecilia ran her fingers along the material and whispered, "It looks very nice, but why give it to me? Why not Alpha?"

Asuka smiled and said, "Ikaros isn't a fan of green colors on her body. As such, I put the outfit away into storage for about seven months or so. When I saw you, I figured that maybe you'd like it."

Cecilia softly said, "I do like it. Green is my favorite color."

Asuka rubbed Cecilia's head tenderly and said, "Then it is yours to wear." She leaned forward and kissed Cecilia on the cheek and left the room.

Cecilia's hand went to her cheek in surprise then she smiled and looked out the window and thought, "Perhaps this place has more to it than I first thought."

Astrea thought for a moment then said, "I want to share it with everyone."

Astrea smiled and said, "Just like you are a hacker Nymph. No one can beat you with technical expertise."

Nymph turned her head to the side and whispered, "Maybe once that was true Delta, but not now." She left the room and Astrea was left a bit confused.

Sohara sighed and said, "I wish we could help her get her wings back. She lost her confidence when that incident happened. I might have to talk to Asuka about it."

Astrea said, "Let me try and cheer her up, you know how happy I can be!" She ran after Nymph.

Sohara ran the blade of a knife along the edge of the cake and thought, "Still, I wonder why Astrea has changed so much since being freed from Mithos' control. Is that all there is to it, or is there more?" She picked up the plate and brought it into the living room. When she entered, she saw that Astrea was sitting next to Nymph and talking with her quietly. She looked around for Asuka, then spotted her coming out of Cecilia's room.

Asuka saw the cake then opened Cecilia's door and said, "Cecilia, we have a nice treat for you, come on out."

Cecilia poked her head out and whispered, "But this outfit is-"

Asuka went behind her and pushed her out into visible sight of the others.

Sohara gasped and said, "Wow, she looks amazing in that! Cecilia, it makes you look really cute!"

Cecilia huffed and said, "Oh come on, it is just clothes." There was a faint pink tinge to her cheeks though and everyone knew that she was enjoying the compliment.

Nymph said, "Theta, I have to admit that I am impressed. Green really suits you, but why the purple jewel in the center of the outfit?"

Cecilia said, "W-well that was Asuka's idea. She said it would look good on me."

Astrea said, "She's right, it looks great!" She sat down across from Sohara as the brunette served the cake onto six saucers with dessert forks. There were two pieces left.

Ikaros said, "When dessert is completed, I shall wash the dishes for everyone. Well done on the cake Sohara, it looks great."

Sohara rubbed the back of her head bashfully then said, "Well it wasn't just me, Nymph helped too."

Nymph closed the book she was holding and said, "Hardly, I merely mixed the ingredients together. You picked them all out and decorated it."

Sugata smiled and said, "It's been a while Ikaros."

Mikako sighed and said, "Fine, can we come in? Its been a long trip, we just came back from Africa."

Asuka said, "Let them in Ikaros, they can have a piece of cake each, if Astrea here is okay with it that is."

Astrea grinned and said, "Fine by me, but why were they in Africa? Were they looking for special food?"

Mikako smiled and said, "As innocent as always Astrea. You were always such a cute Angeloid."

Astrea said, "I know I'm cute, that's the whole point of my design. Look cute, fool my enemies and slice them to ribbons."

Nymph said, "Sounds about right."

Sugata sat down at the table near them and said, "I have discovered something of great importance. It concerns a particular plant life I found near where Ikaros arrived." He took a bite of the cake then said, "This is really good, did you make this Nymph?"

Nymph said, "W-well I did with Sohara helping."

Sugata said, "Well done both of you, now where was I?" He thought for a moment then said, "Oh right, the plant life. It is not indigenous to our ecosystem and it has likely perished by now. That said, the fact that it is there at all was something that concerned me six months ago. Shortly after Tomoki had his transformation, I left Japan with Makako."

Mikako grinned and said, "We had a nice lovey dovey vacation. We even had a little bit of fun on the way."

Sugata glared and said, "We did NOT do that and you know it Mikako. Quit making up stories!" He cleared his throat and said, "As I was saying before she butted in, I found the same type of tree in Africa, most notably South Africa's Southern Cape Town. It had taken me five months to track it down, but it was identical to the one in Japan near the landing site."

Cecilia asked, "What does that mean?"

Sugata looked up and saw Cecilia then asked, "Who is the new cute Angeloid you have there Asuka? I love the color she chose."

Cecilia turned red and whispered, "I am Theta, more commonly known as Cecilia. I am a second generation Angeloid."

Sugata stood up and walked over to her then asked, "And you are here why?"

Cecilia said, "That's none of your concern."

Sugata smiled and said, "Isn't it now?"

Astrea waved her arms frantically and said, "Sugata don't lose it okay? I've seen what you do when that happens please?"

Sugata looked at her and saw that her chain was a bit different. He asked, "You imprinted Asuka didn't you Astrea?"

Astrea beamed and said, "Yup and I've never looked back!"

Sugata looked at Cecilia and said, "I will say the same thing I said to Astrea before she turned on Mithos. If you are here to harm any of them, Astrea included, I will finish you faster than you can say bang."

Cecilia glared and said, "Ban-"

Sugata's hand moved so fast that Cecilia froze when it came close and rested on her head. She gasped as he started to rub her head and said, "As you just saw, my speed is faster than your reflexes. If Asuka trusts you, then that is good enough for me. Please don't make me hate myself for trusting her judgement alright?"

Cecilia said, "A-alright already, I won't hurt anyone!"

Sugata asked, "So what is your real mission?"

Cecilia sighed and said, "To observe Delta in particular. The synapse is very concerned with her ability to break the bond between Master and Angeloid. Thus they want to be certain she did it for honorable reasons."

Sugata smiled and said, "That's all I needed to hear, I believe you Cecilia." He gently touched her side and caused her to freeze up. He whispered, "I too know of the shutdown system built into that part of your body." He then drew her into a hug and whispered, "Welcome to Asuka's family, I hope you become a valued member of it."

Cecilia felt herself subconsciously relaxing and finally said, "Thank you. You didn't answer my question about that strange plant though."

Sugata let her go and looked into her violet eyes and said, "I was hoping one of the Angeloids could explain it." He placed an acorn on the table and said, "This comes from the very same type of tree that was found. How did an acorn plant such as this get transferred from Africa to Japan. More importantly though, why is it that Tomoki had that dream in the first place. It was not a normal nightmare. These questions have been plaguing me for a very long time now. I came to a realization that his dreams are not just connected to a place, rather the Synapse itself."

Cecilia stared at Asuka then asked, "You dream of the Synapse? How is that possible?"

Asuka said, "I didn't even know it was the Synapse. How do you know that it is Sugata?"

Sugata said, "I did some research into the landscape of that dream. If you must know, I questioned Nymph at length about it."

Asuka turned and looked at Nymph who said, "I did something I should not have. I used the Dream Hopping Game to look into your dream. I had to actually break an encryption algorithm to do it. The fact that your dream had protection meant that it was being blocked by something or someone."

Sugata said, "Nymph is correct, it was being blocked by a woman named Dedalus. She is the creator of the Angeloids who are here right now."

Cecilia said, "Dedalus, the woman whom the Angeloids thought of as mother."

Sugata nodded and said, "As such, I had to wonder why she'd visit Tomoki's dreams and block them from being hopped into. It all came to a realization when something arrived for me when I was visiting the Incan Ruins. It arrived as if by magic." He reached into his bag and placed a mirror on the table.

Cecilia gasped and said, "Th-that's-"

Nymph said, "The Mirror of Truth. It shows the true state of things."

Sugata said, "That's what the letter that arrived with it said. I haven't used it yet, but I wanted Ikaros to try looking into it first."

Ikaros asked, "Why me?"

Sugata said, "Just do it Ikaros, I have a hunch and I want to roll with it."

Ikaros picked it up and looked into the mirror. She saw Uranus Queen staring back at her. She whispered, "Why am I seeing my true form in this mirror?"

Nymph said, 'That is what it does, it shows the true form of whoever looks into it. Speaking of which, Theta, you're up."

Cecilia picked it up and looked into it. It showed a cold eyed Cecilia staring back at her. She said, "No, I am not that kind of monster am I?"

Astrea asked, "What did you see? Oh I know it was a hamburger, that'd be funny!"

Cecilia glared and said, "I did NOT see a hamburger you moron! I saw the cold eyes of an assassin!"

Asuka said, "I am hardly surprised Cecilia. You did say your mission was to kill Astrea if she turned out to have broken away for selfish reasons."

Cecilia sighed and said, "I know that, but that's still not alright. I don't want to hurt anyone if I can help it."

Sohara looked into the mirror then nearly dropped it in shock. She shook on the spot and then laid the mirror on the table and said, "I will not look into that thing again!" She left the room and went to her room and shut the door.

Asuka saw her strange reaction and looked into it herself. She saw Tomoki staring back at her, but she was hardly surprised. That was her original form after all. She looked at Sugata and said, "I'm going to check on Sohara." She got up and went to Sohara's room and knocked.

A sniffle was heard from the other side, then the door opened. Tears were streaming down her face and she whispered, "I can't tell you what I saw Asuka, not even you."

Asuka asked, "Why not?"

Sohara said, "I just can't, what I just saw will haunt me. I'm sorry, but could you leave me alone for a while?"

Asuka blinked then said, "Sure, but if you want to talk I am right here. You know how much I love you right?"

Sohara's eyes widened then she whispered, "If you saw what I did, you wouldn't say that Asuka." She closed the door on her and went to her bed and buried herself in her pink covers and cried herself to sleep.

Asuka heard her crying but knew she had to respect Sohara's privacy, thus she returned to the Angeloids, Sugata and Mikako. She said, "Well she's very upset about that mirror, Sugata would you take it away with you? I don't want it in this house if it makes her feel that way."

Sugata picked up the mirror and thought, "I wonder what she saw? It must be truly horrific if she is reacting that way." He said, "Asuka, you love all these Angeloids, don't you?"

Asuka said, "Yes, and no matter what happens I will never change my thoughts towards them?"

Mikako asked, "What about the new one Cecilia? She saw the eyes of an assassin, girl after my own heart after all."

Asuka said, "I trust Cecilia. I just know that she is a good Angeloid at heart."

Cecilia whispered, "Asuka..."

Asuka said, "I think that is enough for one night, everyone get to their rooms."

Nymph said, "Asuka...I want to talk to you in private. It is important."

Asuka looked at her and saw that Nymph was fiddling with a page in her book. She paused then said, "Very well, Nymph join me in my room."

Nymph nodded and went to Asuka's room to wait.

Sugata said, "Mind if we come over for Christmas? I have to do a little more research so I can have a more definitive answer for you all."

Asuka smiled and said, "That would be great. I am planning a nice party for all the Angeloids as well as my friends."

Mikako stood and said, "Well, we will be on our way now. Oh and Asuka, why didn't you tell me you were Tomoki?"

Asuka froze then said, "Honestly, I didn't know how you'd react. You've always acted a little strange to me."

Mikako smiled and said, "That's because I actually like you. If I hated you, no Angeloid on Earth or the Synapse would save you." She walked up to Asuka and kissed her on the cheek before leaving the house.

Asuka stared after her and thought, "She is so strange, I can't get a read on her."

Sugata said, "Don't even try to understand her. I still can't figure her out sometimes and she is my oldest friend." He tipped his glasses closer to his face and said, "That said, I bid you all a good night. Check on Sohara tomorrow, make sure she is alright." He left the house to walk Mikako back to his tent to rest for the night.

Astrea said, "We will, don't worry! I will make her chocolate pudding!"

Ikaros cleaned up the plates and said, "I will wash these then, have a good night everyone. I shall stand guard with Astrea tonight."

Asuka asked, 'You sure?"

Ikaros said, "Something is brewing and I do not like the feel of it. I just hope whatever comes down happens after our celebration you are planning for this Christmas whatever that is."

Cecilia said, "It isn't Epsilon. They were still in the middle of development when I left the Synapse. When she arrives, I cannot get involved. It is something I promised to her creator."

Ikaros asked, "What do you mean Cecilia?"

Cecilia said, "Mithos stole my designs three months ago and began working on his first ever Angeloid. Epsilon will be the result. Why the design to start as a child and age as she experiences things is beyond my knowledge. That said, she will have a very similar wing design to my own and if I were to fight her, it would just be a forever stale-mate. To defeat someone such as Epsilon, different abilities are required, not the same ones."

Ikaros said, "I see, well we will be ready when she does show up."

Cecilia whispered, "I hope you are right Alpha, for all our sakes."

Ikaros looked at her for a moment before she took the plates to the kitchen to wash them.

Asuka entered her room about ten minutes after everyone had returned to their rooms. Astrea and Ikaros had remained on guard detail and everyone else was either asleep or relaxing in their rooms. She walked up to Nymph and asked, "What is it Nymph? You've been nervous for a while now."

Nymph asked, "Asuka-" She shook her head then said, "No, not that, Tomoki. I want to become your Angeloid."

Asuka sighed and said, "I thought we have been over this, I don't want you to do this if you're unsure."

Nymph shook her head and said, "I am more certain of this than anything else in my entire life. Wings or not, I want you as my Master! I like my free will, but I have seen how you treat Alpha and Delta. You are so kind and caring to them and you don't impose your will on them. In fact, the only orders you give end up benefiting them. I have thought of this for a long six months Tomoki and I want you as my Master!"

Asuka reached out and ran his hand through Nymph's long blue hair and whispered, "Are you absolutely certain of this?"

Nymph stared right back and said, "Yes, I am certain Master. Even if you don't let me imprint myself to you, I will consider you my Master starting right here and now."

Asuka stared into her blue eyes and saw a determined fire he had only seen in Astrea when she imprinted herself. Asuka said, "Very well, but I will not become your Master tonight. It will come soon and I will choose the moment, is that clear?"

Nymph's eyes brightened and she said, "Yes Master, that is clear!"

Asuka smiled and put her arms around Nymph and held her close to her heart and whispered, "How did I end up being so lucky Nymph?"

Nymph blinked then asked, "Master? What do you mean?"

Asuka said, "Before I answer that, call me Asuka when I am in this form and Tomoki if I go into my normal form. Being called Master makes me uncomfortable."

Nymph said, "Yes Ma-Asuka, but what did you mean by being so lucky?"

Asuka said, "I already have two amazing Angeloids bonded to me. You're the next one, why?"

Nymph smiled moved back a little bit so she could stare into Asuka's eyes and said, "Because of how amazing you are. I still can't believe human girls mistake you for someone dangerous. The only human girl I have seen who doesn't treat you that way is Sohara."

Asuka said, "I had it coming to an extent Nymph. I tormented them to the point where they got retribution. It was after I saw how boys were treating Ikaros that I realized how wrong my actions were. Revenge or not, it was no way to behave. Revenge only begets more revenge and more hatred. I realized something the day boys were staring at Ikaros in a perverse manner that it made no sense to do such a thing. It only strengthened when I became Asuka and saw how they started treating me once I became a female. I swore that I would protect the ones I love."

Nymph asked, "Does that include Cecilia?"

Unknown to the two of them, Cecilia was listening in on this conversation and felt her reactor tighten at that question.

Asuka said, "I don't know Cecilia well enough to say one way or another. I can say this though, she seems like an amazing Angeloid and one with a kind heart. At this point, I'd protect her no matter what the cost, just like I would any of you."

Cecilia took a step back and thought, "Why? I haven't done anything worthy of that devotion."

Nymph smiled and said, "That is so very like you Asuka. I think I am starting to fully understand that your love has no end and that if human girls knew that they'd be all begging you to be theirs."

Asuka said, "I belong to no one Nymph. Even when you become my Angeloid, I will never think of you or the others as my property. That is what Mithos did and I would never do that to you."

Nymph reached behind her head and pulled out a feather then slipped it into Asuka's hair tie and said, "This feather belonged to my dearest friend before I met you."

Asuka stared into Nymph's eyes and said, "The bird right?"

Nymph nodded and said, "The bird is happy where she is now with no pain or anything. I have finally said my goodbyes to her and am ready to move on with my life." She went to the window and said, "You hear me Mithos you son of a bitch? I swear you will pay for your injustices to the worlds you involve yourself in!"

A voice spoke from Nymph's collar and said, "Really now Beta, is that any way to talk to your former master?"

Asuka clenched her fists but Nymph held up her hand to stop her from saying anything.

Nymph said, "Maybe you're right Mithos, but I know one thing that is abundantly clear. Leader of the Angeloids or no, you are not half the person that Tomoki is. You aren't even half the person Sohara is! They are "downers" as we used to call them and yet they risked their lives to save their enemy. They have protected their enemies twice now and they are doing it again to Cecilia. Go ahead and send Epsilon and watch as she turns on you as well!"

Mithos growled and crushed the wine glass in his hand and shouted, "Who do you think you are talking to Beta?"

Nymph smirked and said, "A damned Asshole, that's who I am talking to. People like you never win and I am glad that I was freed from your vile control. When Delta was freed, I rejoiced inside. I promise you this, Tomoki will never rest until every Angeloid being mistreated by you is free. I will be right by his side and so will Sohara."

Mithos began to laugh and said, "You think Sohara is the answer Beta? Oh the coming two months will be fun Beta. When you are begging for mercy at my feet that is." He started to laugh until he heard Nymph respond.

Nymph laughed as well and said, "Really? You think I'd ever beg for mercy from a weakling such as yourself? How naive!"

Mithos froze then asked, "Weakling? What are you talking about? I singlehandedly-"

Nymph finished, "Saved the Synapse is that what you were about to say?"

Mithos scoffed then said, "That's right, what of it?"

Nymph said, "You only saved the Synapse and unified it so you could control it with an iron fist. The thing about control such as that is that it does not last. The Angeloids are but sand to you. Hold them in your hand for as long as you can dear Mithos, see what happens. They will slip out of your grasp over time, just as Delta and I have! You are powerless to stop Tomoki and that thought drives you mad with rage! I have to wonder why you haven't sent Epsilon down here yet, are you afraid of Tomoki?"

Mithos shouted, "Me? Afraid of some insect? He is less than even you are Beta! He doesn't even have a shred of power."

Asuka said, "Is that what you really think Mithos?"

Mithos froze then asked, "Who is that Beta?"

Asuka said, "You know who I am Mithos. I have to wonder, why are you such a cruel being? Did your mother mistreat you as a child?"

Mithos growled and shouted, "How dare you! I ought to come down there and teach you a lesson in respect!"

Asuka said, "Then why haven't you done so yet? I think Nymph is right, you are a coward! You hide behind the Angeloids because using them is all you're good for. I wasn't certain of my purpose or why these Angeloids flock to me. Ironic because they have wings, yet they do. Why is that Mithos huh? Why is it that all your pet Angeloids are joining my cause rather than staying with their savior?"

Mithos growled out, "Because you're using some form of trickery on them! Just how you did with Delta!"

Asuka smiled and said, "How amusing, you really think you have control over them. I await Epsilon with open arms Mithos, for I shall show her the truth of this world and the truth about your black heart. I saw her you know, in that dream of mine. She was a ruthless killing machine, however she kept asking me one question. The answer to that question is precisely what will save her from your control. Mithos, I promise you this, your reign will end and when it does you will be lost with no flock of Angeloids to save you. At that point, I will kill you myself for what you did to my loved ones."

Mithos shouted, "Who the hell are you girl?"

Asuka whispered, "Figure it out for yourself." She reached over and touched the collar of Nymph, breaking the connection. She then cupped Nymph's face and kissed her tenderly on the lips.

Nymph melted into the kiss and stayed close to Asuka for a few minutes maintaining the connection. They broke apart and Nymph said, "Thank you Asuka, I will return to my room now. I think I can safely speak for all the Angeloids as well as Sohara when I say that we love you."

Cecilia opened the door and said, "Quite a conversation you just had."

They both jumped and spun to face Cecilia.

The green haired Angeloid stared at the two of them and said, "Beta, you intend to make this human your Master correct?"

Nymph whispered, "Yes, why is that any concern of yours?"

Cecilia looked at Nymph then at Asuka and said, "If that is the case, you will need more than the imprinting process. You see that can only be done by an Angeloid with wings. You have no wings, thus you cannot perform the imprinting process, at least not yet."

Asuka said, "If you know something, then spit it out Cecilia."

Cecilia said, "You will see come Christmas time as I have finally figured out what to grant this entire household." She smiled and said, "Thank you for telling off Mithos, Beta. It was refreshing to hear an Angeloid causing that bastard to sweat." She laughed and walked off to her room.

Nymph stared at Asuka and asked, "Do you have any idea what she has planned?"

Asuka shrugged and said, "I guess we will just see around Christmas."

Nymph smiled and said, "I suppose you are correct. I will see you tomorrow morning Asuka." She reached over to Asuka and kissed her for a few seconds on the lips before she returned to her room.

Asuka touched her lips and smiled to herself before she went to get some rest herself.

So ends the Mirror of Truth segment. Next chapter will finally bring Christmas for the Angeloids, but what is the truth behind Sohara's reaction to that mirror? When will Epsilon finally show her face and what will the family do when she does show up? What is the significance of the similarities between Epsilon and Theta?
