Riku woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmare about her uncle. She shook her head trying to clear it. She rubbed a hand over her face and looked around her new room in the traditional Japanese manor house her family lived in. She was sleeping on futon even though her parents said they were getting her bed. She insisted she liked the futon which she did. Terriermon was sleeping still at her side. She frowned something was wrong.
She quickly got up and dressed quickly. She picked up Terriermon.
"Whaz wrong, Riku-chan?"
"I don't know." Riku said, frowning. "I have a bad feeling."
She left her room and began walking around the manor trying to find out what was causing this bad feeling she had. The answer came when she heard a scream. She quickly ran towards it. She burst into her father's office followed by her sister and mother.
"Digi Barrier!" Riku yelled shooting her hands into the air. The barrier appeared. "What digimon is that?"
Bombmon identified!
"I summon Zerimon!" Riku said, touching the card. Terriermon became his fresh form on the field.
"Riku, what are you doing?" Her father asked.
"Working." Riku answered.
Bombmon is the fastest.
Bombmon bounced around happily looking around at everything then it's tail let out some loud noises.
"Is that all you do?" Riku asked, "I almost feel bad about this." She sighed. "Digimodify, Digivolution Activate!"
"Zerimon digivolve to Gummymon." Gummymon said, "Ready, Riku-chan!"
Bombmon just made noise again.
"Gummymon, Bubble Blow." Riku ordered.
Gummymon let loose bubbles sending Bombmon flying into the window and breaking it. She watched her father flinch. Bombmon came back and began crying.
"Hey, Riku-chan I don't think this little guy wants to battle." Gummymon said. "Maybe he's just lost."
"Uh........maybe." Riku said, she walked over and picked the Bombmon up in her arms. "I'm sorry, are you okay?"
Bombmon sniffled it's tail swaying a bit.
"We thought you were going to hurt my daddy."
Bombmon spoke but only said it's name.
"He says "I don't want to hurt anyone." "Gummymon translated. " I was exploring the net and came out here. A mean digimon was chasing me. It wanted to absorb my data."
"It's okay, Bombmon. My name is Riku and I'm Tamer I'll protect you until we can send you back to Digiworld okay?"
Bombmon is now in your care. You can send him to your Digifarm for the time being or carry him with you.
Digimon Quest has been created.
Stop Mean Digimon!
Terriermon was suddenly back and the barrier went down and the window was suddenly fixed. Riku rocked the Bombmon.
"He's actually very cute." Sei said.
"He's not when he digivolves." Terriermon replied climbing on to Riku's shoulder. "Hi, Bombmon, I'm Terriermon but you can call me Terry everyone does."
He patted Bombmon's head.
They had breakfast shortly after and Bombmon was very pleased with the food and Terriermon translated how much he liked it which made Riku's mother blush a bit as she had cooked this meal herself because Riku was here with them this morning.
"Joe-kun."
Joe turned to see Riku and smiled.
"Hey, Riku-chan, you doing okay?" he asked.
"Yes, I got a job a mission." she said.
"Really, explain it to me." Joe said, frowning.
So Riku did and Joe was soon frowning hard.
" A mean digimon trying to absorb Bombmon's data?" Joe wondered. "Lets contact the others and set a meeting to discuss this."
"That's what i thought but I wanted to run it by you." Riku said, blushing a bit.
Joe smiled at her and he and Sei walked her to class.

Riku was shocked and wondered who gave a math test on the second day of school. She wondered if Joe knew about this stat thing she was now learning about if he did then he'd be studying like crazy to raise his INT and WIS so that he could past his tests she was sure of it.
She turned her test over and activated the screen on her watch. She brought up the Digifarm she'd been taught about. Bombmon was there lazing around. There was a bubble over his head so she pushed it.
Being on Digifarm is fun. I can sleep without worry.

Riku wondered what that was about.
School went on as normal and she gained some INT and WIS by studying hard. She got STR, DEX, and VIT in gym.
It was now lunch and she was in the music room with Terriermon and Bombmon eating when Joe, Gommamon and Sei came in.
"There you are." Joe said, with a sigh. "Oh, is this Bombmon."
Kali informed him that Bombmon's info was registered in his Digidex now.
"Did you learn about your stats?" Riku asked as they joined her and the digimon for lunch.
"Yes, I did last night." Joe informed. "I've gained about 15 points in each INT and WIS bringing them to 20 each. "
"Wow, in such a short time?" Terriermon asked.
"Izzy says it's easy to gain stats at first but it gets harder the higher they get." Gomamon informed. "We called him to find out what they meant."
"I was just telling Joe-chan about your Digifarm." Sei said.
Riku nodded and showed Joe and Gomamon the Digifarm leading her to send a message to the others about the farm and getting a confirmation to meet up at Izzy's office after school.
Riku and Terriermon got into a Digibattle against a cheerleader after school when the girl was teasing and had challenged them. They won but it was close. Sei sent them on their way with Joe and Gomamon while she stayed behind and scolded her friend for picking on her younger sister.
