(A Saiyuki Fanfic)

Six

Tejas bopped around the room she was sharing with Goku and he sat in
bed watching her bounce about like a chipmunk on speed, well it would have been
a good analogy to use if he actually know what speed was.

"Free chocolate free chocolate free chocolate."� She sung as she rummaged through her bag and
then let out a squeal as she held the cake of chocolate up and hugged it tight.
"Peppermint chocolate with chocolate cookie base"�. Yummy it's the best chocolate invented!"�

Goku jus blinked before he smiled. "�This is how I'd like to remember her by.' He thought and she looked at him offering him
some.

"Wanna try some?"� She asked.

"Sure."�
He broke off some and she shuffled up in to his face as he ate waiting for his
expression then he blinked before smiling his eyes starry. "Oh wow that's delicious!"�

"I knew you'd love it I know I do!"� She hugged the chocolate.

There was thumping from the room next door. "Oiy keep it down in there you two!"� Vayu called through the wall. "Some people are trying to sleep!"�

Goku just smiled and Tejas smiled at him. "When you're better do you wanna spar sometime like as a
parting gift before we actually go our own ways?"�

Goku looked at her. "Really
you'd like to fight me?! That's so cool!"� He grinned happily at the prospect; if Tejas
was as passionate about fighting like she was about food then he was sure he
would get a good serious spar from her.

"Yay it's
a date then!"� She cheered.

Goku found himself blushing strongly and she sat there happily bouncing
on the spot munching on her chocolate.

He watched her and smiled. "�Hakkai
told me she hardly left my side while I was passed out, I've never had that from anyone before, let alone
anyone as innocent as she is.'

Tejas munched on her chocolate sharing it with him and they just sat
there together eating the chocolate.

"�She can eat as much as I do, she so happy and
smiley, and man I thought I was naïve but she's even more so, I wish they could continue to
travel with us.' Goku
found himself thinking.

Tejas stopped for a moment before she looked at him looking down and he
found himself blinking. "�She's so sweet and she's really pretty too, man.'

"Goku"�"�
Tejas looked at him. "Did you
attack Homura because of me?"�
She asked softly. "Cause if
you did you didn't have
to."�

Goku looked at her and he smiled. "To start off with it was for you, he was mean
to you and he made you cry, I don't
like seeing you cry, it makes me sad, I want to remember you happy."�

Tejas looked at him and she smiled. "That's
so sweet Goku, you're so
nice to me."�

Goku found himself blushing. "If
you don't mind me asking why do
you still like Homura like you do even after what he did?"�

Tejas blinked for a moment and she blushed. "You can't help who you fall in love with Goku, when I first
saw him in the past life it was like time actually stopped for a moment, when
you see someone so beautiful that you don't even notice your feet have left the ground,
and when he turned round and looked my way, it was weird, all he did was smile
at me, then walk on, it was Raido who introduced us, we snuck around for a
while behind her back, she was too busy pulling pranks and causing a lot of
trouble for anyone to notice us. We clicked on a whole different level, he
thought I was beautiful and had a lovely personality, he said I was the nicest
Goddess he ever knew."� She
looked at Goku. "Things
just progressed from there, he got me to spy on Raido for him, that's how I found out about her and Kenren"� but as you know him, Gojyo."� She looked down. "Even we had something said to be a taboo up
there. It was all very awkward."�
She explained.

Goku swallowed. "You and
me"�"� He looked at her his
cheeks red.

Tejas was blushing also. "I
know Homura found out, he forbad me to see you ever again, and so I listened, I
stayed with Raido and Vayu by their sides, till Raido grew bored of heaven, she
left leaving everyone behind, even Gojyo, and Homura he let her go after years
of trying to stop her from leaving."�
Tejas continued to explain.

"Me and Vayu followed, I ended up being found by
Kougaiji and Vayu had a pretty much happy normal lifestyle. Where as I had to
put up with lady Koushou, Kougaiji did his best to protect me from her, sending
me away as part of the mission to steal Raido's scripture, but when we meet up again after a
week of travelling together, we realised there was some sort of bond there and
after a month, it was decided, well I decided I wouldn't do it. Then we travelled and travelled and we
ran in to you guys again and here I am sitting here with you, a whole new body,
and Homura didn't seem
to care. Maybe he's given
up on me, but I know he still loves me."�

"I care."� Goku took her
hand. "I'll always care about you Tejas."�

She looked up at him
and smiled, she blushed slightly. "That means a lot to me Goku."�

"I know I'm not Homura,
but if I was how he could not still be in love with you is stupid, you're a
wonderful person and I'd forget the stupid scripture and worry only about you
and your well being."�

Tejas looked down. "All
he worries about is Raido and the scriptures, like he can't forgive himself for
not being around when she needed him the most, well he did it again, he wasn't
there for her this lifetime either. I know it's stupid to be jealous of his
sister, but I am, she has his attention and she doesn't want it, I do, but he
doesn't give it to me."�

Goku wrapped his arms
around her giving her a hug and she let her headrest on his shoulder. "�She's
changing slowly, I see what the others were talking about now. But I want her
to stay the same. It's selfish of me but I like her the way she is, damn you
Homura. I'm going to get stronger and I'm not going to loose against you next
time, I'm not.'

Vayu rolled over in the
bed and she felt the arms around her, it was a nice feeling to have some one to
curl in to, to protect her as she slept.

"You okay there?"�
Hakkai asked her sleepily.

"I'm fine."� She
murmured just as tired. "That damn pixie and her hyper chocolate obsession."�

Hakkai just chuckled
lightly and she felt his head move to her shoulder and she found her cheeks
blushing, he hadn't made any move like Gojyo had tried when she'd first met
him, instead he was just holding her as she tried to sleep.

"�This is nice it's
so comforting. I wish we didn't have to go our own ways.' She thought to herself
as her eyes drifted closed and she felt like she was rocked to sleep by the
steady sound of his heart up against her back.

~*~*~*~

"Arrrrr damnit get the
hell away from me!"� Sanzo growled as Cyran appeared next to him again trying to
get close in to his body space. "�She is really getting on my nerves.' He
thought frustrated. "What do you want?!"� He demanded.

"Sanzo"� you helped me,
can't I do something nice for you in return?"� She pleaded.

Sanzo let out a
defeated sigh before he sat down. "It depends what you call nice."� He grumbled.

She smiled and he
blinked as she suddenly over him, her head close to his ear and he looked at
her his expression obvious one of annoyance. "Stop that."�

"Why?"� She whispered
and he felt her breath as it touched his neck followed by a kiss, he stood up
suddenly letting her fall on to the couch and he looked at her.

"Because I told you to
stop it, do you want to sleep in the hallway?"� He asked.

She let out a sigh.
"Why won't you let me thank you?"�

"Let me think for a
moment."� He drawled the sarcasm obvious. "Because I don't want or need any
thanks from you."� He snapped before walking out of the room.

Cyran's head flopped on
to the pillow of the couch. "Damnit."� She huffed in to the pillow. She looked
up her head resting in her hand. "Third time lucky."� She added before sitting
up.

Sanzo lent up against
the wall before reaching in for his cigarette packet and he sighed as he
remembered he left it on the table in the room. "Damnit."� He complained.

He blinked as a
cigarette popped out of nowhere and he looked at Raido and she just smiled.
He'd noticed since the day before she had her Hakkai qualities about her, she
had some dark past also, what ever happened to her, it caused her to just move
on and smile about the fact that she was alive.

"Problems with Gojyo?"�
He asked.

Raido smiled again and
rubbed the back of her neck it was a gesture that reminded him of Hakkai again.
"Yeah he won't leave me alone. He thinks that since we kinda had a date that he
has a right to take it from the next level."� She lent up against the wall also
next to him. "Truth is I don't trust any man."� She spoke. "He's nice and all,
but I will never trust any man, ever, I trust Cyran, I trust Tejas, I trust
Vayu, I trust myself, but no one else."� She added. "I can't risk it, trust
means friendship and that means a close bond, if I let anyone else in, it'll
hurt when they're killed."� She pulled out her own cigarette and lit it up and
looked at Sanzo. "I have some one hunting me, the others don't know, he keeps
sending them after me, he thinks they can kill me, but soon he'll come, and
it's best I'm not around."� She took a drag of her cigarette.

Sanzo looked at her.
"Your past has come back and that's suppose to worry me why?"�

"Well I'm leaving
tomorrow, without the others. They don't know, I have to do this, make sure
they move on okay, if I survive, there's this town about six hundred miles
away, get them to meet me there in a couple of months, if I'm not there, then
they can go their own way."�

"So you're running away
from your mission?"� Sanzo asked.

Raido looked at him.
"No it's on the way, it's just I'd rather they're not involved in this."�

"And the scripture?"�
Sanzo looked at her.

"They'll have to pry it
from my dead body."� Raido replied before walking down the hallway.

Sanzo flicked the ash
to the side as he watched her walk off. He was standing there for about five
minutes when Gojyo left the room and he let out a sigh. "Dag nabit, she gave me
the slip again."�

Sanzo looked at him.
"Don't get to attached to her."� He remarked.

Gojyo frowned. "C'mon
man they're leaving this is probably the last chance I'm going to get with
her."�

"Just leave her Gojyo,
don't get involved, we have our own mission to complete."� Sanzo turned round
and walked back in to his room.

Moment later the door
opened and Cyran was shoved out. "Hey! You jerk!"� She shouted at him.

Gojyo looked at her.
"Don't worry about him, it'll be a cold night in hell before he even looks
remotely interested."�

Cyran looked at Gojyo.
"I just"� wanted to thank him, he helped me, you and Raido, too, Tejas even I
managed to thank Raido and I gave Tejas some chocolate. But he won't"�"� She
sighed defeated.

"It's okay honey, he's
always like that. He lent up against the wall hovering over her, "But the
priestess has left me for the night, you interested? We did have a date after
all."� He smirked at her.

"That will make Raido
pissed if she came back."� Cyran looked down the hallway.

"Trust me honey she'll
be gone a while. She seems to run a lot."� Gojyo grinned.

Cyran let Gojyo lead
her in to the room and he shut the door after them.

~*~*~*~

Raido sat in the bar
swirling the drink round her glass and she pulled the letter out of her pocket
that was left at her for reception, she opened it again for the third time since
she got it.

She sculled the drink
down and looked at the door as it opened. She stood up flipping some money on
to bar.

"Thanks."� The bartender
remarked for the tip and she walked out of the bar.

She took a couple of
steps when her head began to spin. "I only had one."� She murmured.

The sound of a gun
cocking caught her attention and she turned around seeing the barrel of the gun
and she knew what it was. "You came."� She spoke as the figure figured the gun
at her and she dodged the bullet.

"To get you out and
away from the others, but those demons will have their turn trust me."� He
spoke. "Stop that this town has had enough of it already."�

He just smiled at her.
"What do you want to do talk?"� He asked with a laugh.

"Look this scripture
was handed to me by my grandfather"� What would he sa-?"� She begun but she felt
the fist hit her in the stomach.
"Ahhhow."� She sucked in a breath. "Hitting a woman in the middle of the
street shame on you."� She looked up at him and she only saw his aqua eyes
before she hit the ground.

~*~*~*~

The
next morning"�

The Sanzo party and the
three girls sat at the breakfast able with them. "She didn't come back last
night."� Cyran remarked.

Gojyo looked at her.
"You sound worried."�

"She hasn't left the
town, I would have sensed it, but something's up."� Vayu remarked.

Tejas stopped in mid
mouthful. "Mhere mroulf mre rmphro?"� She asked.

"In Tejas language
that's "�where would she go?'."� Cyran translated.

Sanzo just sipped his
drink remaining quiet. Vayu looked at him. "You know don't you, I can feel it,
you're not letting me read your mind but she spoke to you last night and left a
message with you."�

"Hmph."� Sanzo huffed.
"Her past has come back, she's gone to deal with it, you're to meet her six
hundred miles west there's a town there, she said she'd be there in a couple of
months."� He spoke. "If she survives."�

"WHAT?!"� Gojyo looked
at him. "What do you mean if she survives?"�

Vayu looked off to the
distance. "For a while I've sensed it a dark presence following us I just
thought it was demons, but it was him"�"�

"Stop doing that it
creeps me out."� Cyran remarked.

"What?"� Vayu asked.

"You and your mystery
shit, just spill it, whose him?"� Cyran demanded.

Vayu shrugged, "It's
one of two him's, either her step father or the other contender who was to
inherit the scripture she carries. Both want her dead. Her stepfather the demon
hunter he'd love to get his hands on that scripture also. Or Kweitin.
Apparently he was suppose to have drowned with her grandfather in the river, a
demon attacked and he was flung in to the water, her grandfather gave her the
scripture and dove in after him the demon not seeing the exchange followed,
none of those three were ever seen again."�

"She told you this?"�
Cyran looked at her sceptically.

"Oh no I read it from
her thoughts."� Vayu replied. "She has some serious internal brooding over the
past and what she could have done to save them both."�

Tejas stood up. "Well
lets go rescue her! Maybe I'll get more chocolate as thanks!"�

The group looked at
her. "I was joking"� geez."� Tejas remarked in a manner that was untypical of
her.

Goku blinked as he
looked at her. "But where would they be?"�

"I know."� Vayu replied.

Gojyo looked at her. "I
know I'm going to regret asking this, but how?"�

"It's a secret."� Vayu
replied with a smile before standing up.

~*~*~*~

Raido opened her eyes
and she looked round herself seeing the chains shackled to her wrists the long
chain reaching from one to the other.

"I know all about you
past life, the younger half sister to the crowned war prince Homura. To think I
finally have the Goddess of change captured and she has a scripture, with your
death perhaps things will revert back to the way they were."�

Raido blinked for a
moment and she looked out the window the bars across them obvious. "You're
holding me in a prison cell?"� She asked somewhat appalled at the lameness of
it.

He turned round and
looked at her. "The scripture so I can finish this!"� He shouted at her.

Raido pulled at the
chains and noticed they wouldn't bend or break "These are really lame
shackles."� She remarked.

"The scripture!"� He
shouted grabbing her suddenly and pinning her up against the wall. She blinked
at the change in his strength from when she last remembered.

"What happened to you?
We were friends once, you were so nice to me."�

"Being left to drown
does things to someone, we floated forever up that river I washed ashore and
your grandfather did too, I check him for the scripture to make sure it wasn't
damaged but he didn't have it, then I realised he gave it to you, you"� you were
always his favorite student."�

"I'm his grand daughter
duh."� Raido snapped.

The remarked was
received with a knee to the stomach and she doubled over and he grabbed her
before she slid down the wall.

"uh-uh, the scripture?
Where is it? You don't wear it like the other Sanzo's."�

She looked up at him.
"You've seen other Sanzo's?"� She asked.

"Heh plenty"�"� He let
her drop to the ground and she watched as he pulled a scripture out of his
sleeve.

"I found this puppy a
few months back, buried in the sand of all places, my training paid off it let
me spilt the sand and part it, I dug it up and it's mine."�

"Man Kougaiji would
love to get his hands on that."� Raido remarked.

He just smiled. "Oh he
will in due time, all he has to do is a little something for me."�

Raido jumped up
flipping the chain round his wrist and flinging him in to the wall. "You're
dealing with those demons?!"� She snapped. "Are you stupid, they'll kill you
afterwards, if Kougaiji doesn't first."� He held up his hand and she dodged as
ki was flung out towards her and she looked at the hole in the wall it was in
an almost perfect circle.

He stood over her.
"I've got news for you priestess"�"� He smiled and she watched as he pulled an
armband off and she shuffled back as he let the transformation come.

"You were a demon"� all
this while?"�

He just smirked. "No"� I
had to kill a thousand demons for this deal, you're close to it too you know
that, all that anger you had bottled up inside after he died all the demons you
killed in the name of vengeance, I'd say another hundred or two and you'll be
where I am. A full blooded demon."�

Raido let her head
drop. "Stop it"� Kwei, I stopped myself, I stopped myself. I saw their blood on
my hands and I realised I'd done something bad. A demon is a demon, but to kill
so many who didn't do anything to me was wrong."�

He grabbed her by the
wrist. "Wrong how is it wrong! They were turning against us slaughtering us,
and when hell finally comes what side would you rather be on the side of the
devil or in his path?"�

Raido looked up at him.
"What side would I rather be on, I'm on no one's side, no ones."� She repeated.

His hand grabbed her
round the neck and she felt him trying to crush the air from her. She looked at
him, before she felt faint.

"I'll kill you and then
the scripture will be mine, how would you like to die priestess, oh the
vengeance for all demon kind when I kill you, they'll look up to me I'll become
a great warrior."�

"You're still a sad ass
fallen monk."� Raido croaked before brining her knee up in to his groin and he
doubled over and her elbow hit him in the face causing his nose to begin
bleeding and he looked at her.

"You bitch."� He
growled.

"Suck it Kwei."� She
slammed the barrel of her gun in to his mouth. "You're wrong about my demon
count, but I don't bath in the blood of my demon kill I'm not a sick and
twisted freak like you"� oh and for your information this demon kill makes it
one thousand."� She replied.

*BANG*

The body hit the ground
and she blinked suddenly as the blood flew out of the back end of his head and
his hand flung blood in her direction as it fell to the ground.

"Get down!"� She heard
Hakkai's voice. "Don't let it touch you."�

She let out a cry as
Gojyo dove on top of her and she hit the ground his body shielding her as the
blood hit him.

"Gojyo"�"� She looked at
him.

"Are you stupid
priestess?!"� He snapped.

She looked to the door
as the others entered the prison.

"Raiiiiiidddddooooo."�
Tejas looked at her whining.

"You owe me ten bucks,
you said she couldn't go two days without saying it once during the
transistion."� Vayu turned to Cyran.

"Damnit."� Cyran
remarked forking out ten dollars and handing it to Vayu.

"Tejas."� Raido sat up.

Tejas crouched down by
her side. "You were going to leave us?"� She sniffed. "I don't want you to leave
again."�

Raido looked down. "I'm
sorry."�

Tejas looked at her
sad. "You didn't have to face things alone up there and you don't have to face
them alone down here either."� She hugged her.

Raido placed her arms
round Tejas and accepted the hug, the chains rattled.

Gojyo held out his hand
his Jakujou appeared in his hand and he cut the chains at the shackled wrists.
"You are one stupid priestess."�

Raido just smiled. "I'm
still young, bare with me this is a learning curve."�

Hakkai looked at her
and he smiled. "That was close, you don't have to bathe in the blood of a
thousand demons, it's the splatter that does it."�

"Eeee"� eww"� but he said
he did, that is sooo gross."� Raido remarked looking at his body and she picked
up the scripture rolling it up in to it's scroll and she looked at Sanzo. He
looked at her and she slammed it in to his hand.

"Between us now we have
three scriptures."� Raido remarked. "There's two other Sanzo out there with the
others."�

"Hakkai, does this mean
what I think it means?"� Gojyo asked.

"Oh boy it does, we're
going to be under attack more so than normal."� Hakkai laughed nervously. "Not a
good sign for us."�

"Hey Sanzo"�"� Goku
began.

"Shut up."�

"Sanzo"�"�

"I said shut up."� Sanzo
snapped.

"But-"�

*WHACK*

"Don't."�

"But Sanzo"�"� Goku
began.

"No buts."�

"But it's a question
and it's not about food."� Goku remarked.

The others all looked
at Goku like he'd grown an extra head.

"This ought to be
good."� Vayu remarked with a smirk.

"It'll still be a
stupid one."� Sanzo remarked.

"No you don't know what
I'll ask."� Goku protested.

"Fine then, lets hear
it."� Sanzo sighed.

"Since you already have
one scripture could I have the oth-"�

*THUNK*

"That was a
stupid question."� Sanzo remarked.

"Owwww"�"� Goku rubbed
his head. "But why?"�

"Goku those scriptures
are bound for the highest of high priests and your not a priest."� Hakkai
explained.

"Oh."� he looked down.
"But they kick some serious ass, I just thought-"� He began.

"Don't think, it's a waste of head
space for you monkey boy."� Gojyo teased.

"Hey screw you water
whimp."� Goku remarked.

"What was that?!"� Gojyo
snapped.

"You heard me! Water
whimp water whimp!"� Goku challenged.

"That's it you're dead
meat!"� Gojyo shouted.

Sanzo's hand covered
his face. "Somebody kill me."�

There was a laugh as it
echoed through the prison. "Oh just you wait I'll get to you."�

"What the hell?"� Gojyo
looked round.

Raido looked down at
the body. "It's not Kwei he's dead. But then who?"�

They looked round as
shadows began to fill the prison the pointed ears of the shadows giving them
away.

"Looks like you old
friend Kwei had a back up plan."� Hakkai looked at Raido.

"For what?"� Raido
asked.

"You think you could be
a demon and carry that scripture without the priests coming after you on top of
Homura, and Kougaiji?"� Hakkai asked.

"I'm not going to kill anyone."�
Raido remarked.

"DIE!"�

Raido pulled out two of
her guns and she fired them sending the demons packing in to particle pieces.
"Well I thought I wasn't."� she added.

"Just don't get too
much blood on you."� Hakkai looked at her, "One of me is already enough, we
don't need for you to go what I went through okay?"�

Raido looked at him and
then smiled. "I'll be okay don't worry about me. She pulled out her fan and
flung it across the room and it spun round hitting a handful of demon sending
them packing in to dust particles, she caught it on it's return trip.

"Behind you!"� She heard
Tejas shout.

A chain shot past them
and a demon behind her vanished in to dust and Gojyo's Jakujou chain returned
back in to the staff.

"This your first time
fighting your own kind?"� Goku asked looking at Tejas as she looked on not to
sure at first.

"Ummm yeah, but
Kougaiji didn't send them he wouldn't ever try to hurt me."� Tejas remarked.

"Dream on pixie."� Gojyo
remarked.

"He wouldn't!"� She
snapped at him. "You don't know him like I do!"�

"She's right these are
straight from lady Koushou, only Kwei was working for Kougaiji."� Vayu remarked
as her mace sliced through the skin of one demon the crushed the side of
another and she tossed it to the side pulling out her tonfa's and charging in
the stick spinning as she spun round the demon letting the sticks slice through
her opponents.

"I trust Vayu on this
one."� Hakkai remarked as he fired his ki towards the oncoming demons.

Tejas pulled out her
whip and she spun round letting it snap out and cutting a demon in half before
it spun round behind her hitting another and she snapped it back in wrapping it
around her arm.

Cyran jumped out of the
way of a demon and she watched as it hit the wall and she rolled her eyes
before placing the heel of her boot in her mid back. "It was Koushou wasn't
it?"� She demanded.

"You won't make me talk!"� The
demon cried and she dug her heel in before grabbing one of Raido's guns as the
priestess passed her by giving chase after a demon and Cyran cocked the smith
and Wesson series five hundred series, Raido seemed to like the five hundred
series when it came to her guns.

"Okay then die you
bastard."�

*BANG*

The demons was sent in
to dust particles and Cyran looked at the gun. "I'm going to have to invest in
a weapon if I'm to hang out with you guys."� She remarked

"Whatever."� Sanzo
replied as he finished off the last of them by not even pausing and firing his
banishing gun at them, emptying the bullets out in to the demons.

Raido stepped back and
she pulled out one of her guns. "Keep that and add this one to your collection,
I've found something better."� She picked up the chain.

Vayu face faulted. "A
chain"� really Raido."�

"Kinky priestess."�
Gojyo remarked.

Raido wrapped the chain
round her arms and over the back of her shoulder then down her other arm and
she stretched. "This should work."�

"Just don't let Vayu
hit me with it okay?"� Tejas asked.

Raido smiled. "I
wouldn't dream of it."�

"Damn there goes my
fun."� Vayu remarked.

Tejas looked at her.
"Stop being so mean!"� She protested.

"What?"� Vayu feigned
innocence.

"You always pick on
me!"� Tejas exclaimed.

"It's fun."� Vayu
replied.

"That is truly juvenile
you two."� Cyran sighed.

Vayu looked at Cyran
"You should try it before you judge."�

"Nooooo don't"�
Raiiiiiiiddddddooooo make them stop."� Tejas whined.

Raido just smiled.
"Hokay that's enough lets go."� She walked out of the prison the others
following.

"Man so who were those
demons after?"� Gojyo asked.

"They were after her."�
Sanzo replied as he pulled a cigarette out and lit it.

Gojyo looked at Raido.
"You?"� He blinked.

Raido smiled. "Yeah if
you didn't hear fully Kwei was the thousand demon I've killed since I started
this gig."� She looked at the group. "I guess I was keeping count so I wouldn't

wasn't right, since giving up the hunt for vengeance after I found the demon
that killed them and killed him myself there was no satisfaction it didn't
bring them back, so I just became a wandering priestess really. Then they
started hunting me with an order to take my scripture from my dead body, of
course they never got close to making me the least bit dead."� She explained.
"When I reached home after meeting Tejas and Vayu it just stopped, bam like
that, not a single demon, nothing, it was quite odd, I assumed it was
Kougaiji's doing when we found out Tejas was his little adoptive daughter. But
now we know the truth"�"�

"And without Homura
protecting you priestess what do you intend to do?"� Gojyo asked.

"I don't know. I guess
we just need a little us time for a while. Travel our own path"� but that town I
mentioned we will be passing through there, in a few months perhaps we could
meet up then?"� Raido asked.

Sanzo huffed. "Suit
yourself."�

Hakkai smiled. "We'll
have a look in to it. If we're there round that time, we'll see if we can find
you."�

Raido smiled. "Well now
that that's settled I haven't eaten since last night."�

"FOOD!"� Goku and Tejas
remarked in unison. They stopped and looked at each other before laugh and
continuing in unison. "We're really hungry!"�

"They're scaring me."�
Cyran remarked.

"You'll get use to it."�
Vayu replied with a huff.

Raido just rubbed the
back of her neck. "Guess I can do a one last shout, but not to much you guys I
still have to get supplies for when we leave this town."�

"Speaking of which
we're leaving the day after tomorrow."� Hakkai looked at them. "Are you staying
until then?"�

Raido nodded. "Sure."�
She replied. "Who knows when Tejas will get to see Goku again and by then she
could have completely changed."�

Goku just smiled and
Tejas touched the bandage on each of his cheeks, "Do they hurt?"� She asked.

He smiled again and
rubbed the back of his neck. "Not as much as they did last night, but I'll
recover."�

Tejas smiled. "That's
good, I want you at full health hokay?"�

Goku laughed. "I
wouldn't have it any other way, two days and we get to have our spar. I can't
wait."�

"I know it'll be the
coolest!"� Tejas piped up excitedly.

"You were so cool with
that whip of yours I just thought you had it because you used it to carry your
bags, but you know how to use it as well, that'll make our fight more
interesting."�

"Dear megami they've
become sparring partners now too."� Raido joked. "What next marriage?"� She
added.

The comment made Tejas
and Goku both blush bright red.

"They even blush the
same color"� how sickening."� Gojyo added.
