Chapter 7 : Remember Me
- Yukito POV -
The concert was still going at a very fast pace. Everyone was yelling and jumping up and down. Energy was flowing to the very core of the stadium.
In the middle of the crowd was me and Touya. I was enjoying myself more than I would have readily admitted. Natalliee was amazing, her voice was perfect..well still perfect. She had always complained about her violet eyes, but those blue contacts she was wearing really didn't suit her at all.
This was her choice, so I should just enjoy myself. But that was hard considering that we were close to the stage and I could see her every time I turned around. She looked so happy up there, like she was pouring her whole soul into this one performance. I guess I should have expected that from her, this had been her dream for as long as I have known her, possibly longer.
I would do anything to make sure Natalliee was happy, she was like a sister to me and I never want to lose her. But I couldn't help but notice that Yue was a little uncomfortable, you would think he would always be uncomfortable at these things but he actually enjoyed them. I think he said it was a good way to release some built up tension and empty his head.
I was starting to act like Touya every time that Aaron guy got to close to Natalliee, I couldn't help it. He was close enough to try and do something and I would not stand for that.
My whole body almost froze when she started singing 'Real Emotion'. That was the song she won the contest with, the one that lead to all this. How I wish that song would have caused her to lost the opportunity, but Yue kindly reminds me of who's fault it is that Natalliee did go through with it. That I kept encouraging her when she felt like she was going to faint before she got on stage. So I guess it is partly my fault, and I was paying for it
.
I would never take any of this away. No matter how much it hurt, she deserved this more than anyone I knew. She had worked all her life for this one moment.
The concert was still going full force. I could tell she was getting tired, but she kept going. It was amazing how much energy she had, she was always so quiet and shy. I guess the stage would bring out the best in everyone.
Her last song before she went to break, Image of Me, it made Yue more restless than he was before.
"Yukito, something really disastrous is going to happen soon."
"Yue, you're just worried about nothing. Everything will be just fine."
"I hope you're right."
She went back stage for a few minutes so she could get her energy back. The crowd was still fired up and everything.
I looked over to where Touya was, he was leaning against my shoulder. Not that I minded one bit. I gave him a quick kiss and smiled.
Natalliee was back, the final part of the show.
That's when I feat it. The air went cold so suddenly that I couldn't breathe for a minute. Something was terribly wrong.
Someone was walking up on stage. Everyone was trying to figure out who the guy was, he just seemed to appear out of nowhere. He reach inside his jacket and pulled out a gun taking aim at Natalliee.
Things seemed like there were going in slow motion. A pull of the trigger, eyes wide in shock, a body falling, a life erased.
The world went back to normal speed then, I was suddenly running up the steps to the stage and towards where I saw her fall.
She wasn't there.
In her place was a card. I bent down to pick it up and could feel the tears falling down my face.
Suddenly everything made sense now. I finally knew why Yue felt so uneasy around her.
In my hand was one of the Clow cards....'The Silent'

Chapter 7 all done for now. Yes it is short, but this is how it kept playing in my head.
I'm sayin' one more chapter for here and I'll be done.
I'm thinkin' bout a sequel to this. To try and tie up any loose endings.
