Chapter 7
“Come on. You have got to eat something.”
Shido tried again for the fourth time that day to get Genji to eat something. His worry for that man was driving him so up the wall that he was getting sick and wouldn’t sleep. He would just sit on the hood of the car and wait. It was true that Ban would leave for a few days, but it was only 2-3 days maximum. Something had to be done and soon, before Genji got any worse.
“Well Like we said…He was fighting along side Akabane and Shido, and when the dust cleared he was no where to be found. It didn’t sound like a struggle; we would have at least heard something.”
Himiko was explaining to Katsuki, who was able to get away for a few days to come visit the Getbackers.
“Even the animals in the area can’t find any thing of him. It’s not like him….To skip town. However that man’s creditability isn’t the greatest among the kingdom anyways.”
“I think right now we need to make sure Genji is stable enough to come with us when we go back in to the Infinity Fortress. “Katsuki sighed as Genji drawled up and walked back outside to the car again waiting for Ban.
“No one can think of what might have happened? I mean people don’t just disappear out of thin air right?” Natsumi chipped in, trying to be helpful.
For a moment no one said any thing, until Akabane walked in.
“Did you find out her name?” Akabane directed his question to Shido.
“Huh? Who’s name?”
“You’re cheating on Madoka?”
“No Himiko~! Who are you talking about Akabane?”
Akabane grinned as he walked to the door and looked at Genji sitting on the car.
“I noticed when we walked to the Fortress, that there was a girl watching us. I didn’t press the matter; she was merely too far away.”
“So…Lots of people watch the fights. Keeps them out of danger…”
“That’s one way to put it. But how many people watch fights from the ceiling?”
“What….are you talking about Akabne? You would have to be some sort of bat to be on the ceiling….”
Akabane nodded to Himkio, as he turned around.. “True .. I did some research…I found that some snakes can bore their scales in to a surface and crawl up walls…”
“A snake that crawl up walls and some girl that watches us from the distance…..Why didn’t you tell us about this earlier..?”
Akabane again turned around towards Genji.
“ I thought one of you may have spotted her…*Aside from watching you guys suffer is one..Genji is another.*”
“So ….Lets find this girl.. Katsuki, will you join us?”
Katsuki nodded. “ I don’t want Genji to suffer anymore than he is…Lets go..”
Wake up….
…..
Come on Snake King…Wake up…Time for you to feed.
I’m awake….I can’t move..
Try….the power is at your finger tips..
Ban stood sluggishly, in a dimly lit room. He looked around for a moment, with eyes that seemed to have never opened in days. Subconsously reaching for his cigarettes, he noticed that his shirt was gone.
“Where are my clothes?”
Silence...
/Where are my clothes? /
/I see you’re learning…You are wearing what you need.../
/You said I was supposed to feed…/
/Find what you can….Food is plenty around here…/
/Where are you? /

“Heh…Whatever..” With a small stretched, he felt his muscles ripple under his skin. His arm and legs still felt like logs and the hunger for food was even greater as he stood and checked his surroundings. Managing to walk to the next room, a man attacked him on the spot.
“Ass Hole. Think you can scare me again didn’t you~!? I’ll get you for breaking my leg…”
Ban looked up at his attacker with dazed eyes. The man was no more than 19, a pup. Young stuff…Attacking him for no apparent reason that a mistakenly thought that he was another person… Another person would cry and beg for his life. Life….he should be begging for his life. He didn’t know who he was messing with.
Be fore he knew what he was doing; Ban had gotten up and snapped the man's neck in half.
“Hmph…weakling….”
An evil laughter from his evil twin with in began to ring in his ears.
*Beginning to kill again are we? How long has it been since you last tasted blood…smelt it?*
“Tch…I thought I told you to shove it…Why are you awake any ways..”
*You act all tough…You can’t fool the one that lives with in you…*
Shaking his head he walked off to the room he came in. Somehow, after kill the unknown attacker, he felt lighter, stronger. However that didn’t quell the hunger.
“If there’s no food how am I to feed…What game are you playing here?”
Again the laughter echoed in his ears…
*What are you talking about…..The food just came to you…..*
Leon woke up finally, after what seemed forever of night. The sunlight hitting his eyes throbbed as he shifted and attempted to get his cane to get up. But something was in the way. After patting around, and blinking heavily, his eyes focused on Testsu in the bed.
“FUCKDAMNGOAT~!” with his good leg, he managed to give him a swift kick and sent him flying out of the bed.
“DAMN FUCKING-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “ The disgruntled human, wormed his way off the bed and crawled over to a wall and pulled him self up.
Testsu was rubbing his rear end and stared at Leon half-hopping to the door.
“It’s locked..”
“ I DON’T CARE IF ITS LOCKED!~ I’LL BREAK THE FUCKING DOOR DOWN~! D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Grumbling, Testsu got up and dusted himself off. It was amusing to watch him crawl along the wall to get to the door, falling down every so often.
“Wait till I get my hands on him. It’s bad enough that he has me in here with this goat! Now it’s in my bed!”
Leon stopped near the door, now getting extremely tired.
“I said the door was locked.. And D won’t be back for a while. He told me to keep you company. So just relax.”
“I don’t want to relax. I want to strangle D. And another thing-“
Leon paused a moment to look over at who he was talking to. It was slightly true that he may have woke up in a fit of madness and may have been talking to his consciousness, but now that it held a conversation, he was starting to get worried.
Turning around completely, he laid eyes on the goat.
“ I’m hearing things….There’s no wa-“
“ If you keep saying that, its going to take a lot more time to get used to it.”
The goat was speaking, but for some reason he could see a shirt, pants. Necklace..
Leon squinted his eyes, and took a silent gasp as he recognized the voice as Testsu’s form changed to the image he saw on the boat.
“ So I’m not crazy. I’m just….”
“The jerk back in to humanity may have caused you to forget. I’m just here to have you remember…Trust me it wasn’t my idea..”
“So….How long did you say *yawn*..was D going to be?”
Testsu smiled as the magic of the incense was working..
“A while…He’ll be back soon.”
