Chapter Seven
The Creator, The Girl, and Grell's Promise
The next morning Undertaker had awoken to a loud argument in the next room, but that certainly hadn't ruined his day. It was exciting to see all of these people so alive. The shinigami were loved by death, but to truly appreciate the power of death you had to be able to appreciate life as well. This morning he'd decided to watch the sea life from the steerage deck. A few dogs passed him on a morning walk, but they quickly departed with tail between their legs once he'd given them a good scare.
In general the crowds of people were easygoing. Some boys were playing with tops, some women exclaiming loudly to their toddlers about the dolphins following the ship, some men playing cards, smoking.
“Live life while you can,” Undertaker mumbled to himself ominously, watching the humans with mild interest when a familiar little Irish girl ran past him, accidentally tripping and skinning her knee. With a frown he picked up the doll she'd dropped, wiping off its porcelain face on his sleeve and helping her up. “Careful sweetheart, one trip at a time. Ihehee...”
The little girl looked up at Undertaker with full curiosity. She had no fear of him. Instead she smiled and hugged him. She giggled a bit and tugged at his robes. “You're it,” she said just before she started to run away. She turned back to make sure her new friend was in fact chasing her. She had yet to retrieve her doll, but the strange man was nice and made her feel safe.
Undertaker figured there was no harm in a little game. The girl was sweet, unfortunately to his trained eyes he could already tell her name was on the list. He would have to decide on the best way for her to pass peacefully. For now, though, he chased her passed some adults who may have thought he was her father.
“This game can't go on forever...Eventually you have to let me win or you can't get your doll back,” Undertaker teased her as they ducked behind some deck furniture and onto the ship's other side. He laughed to himself. If that wasn't a metaphor for life he didn't know what was.
“You're funny!” The little girl giggled and poked her head above the deck chair. “Grown-ups don't need dollies. Besides, the boys will laugh at you if you have her. She's a girl's dolly.” The girl stepped toward Undertaker and tip-toed backwards in a semi-teasing manner.
Undertaker looked at the doll sideways before shrugging and handing her back to the girl. “Then I'll give her back. I couldn't handle it if they laughed at me.” Undertaker tried to give her a sweet smile, she was cute, innocent. Unfortunately his smile was a little too wide, creepier than he'd hoped it would be. Yet she only laughed, she wasn't scared of death incarnate...How interesting.
“Where are your friends? Mommy said I should make friends on the big boat. Did you come here to make friends? Mommy says when the ship docks we'll be in America and we can become rich. Daddy doesn't want mommy to say things like that and he says ‘Stop filling her head with nonsense.’” The little girl laughed then suddenly looked very pensive. “I forgot! I'm Einin. What's your name, mister smiley man?”
Undertaker paused to think. He'd simply been called the Undertaker for so long he could hardly remember his own human name, he certainly never used it in his sparse social life. Ah well, just this once. “Cliff. I did make a one friend...The man who shares my room and plays cards like a fool. He's nice, but he doesn’t speak English.” Undertaker patted her head, kneeling down to her level, touching her longer than was typically considered polite. He'd never bothered to learn such human pleasantries. “Your mother probably wants you to make friends with other children though. They can give you that in abundance...An old man like me won't make an interesting playmate at all.”
“But the kids I've met talk funny and I can't understand them. Like the man in your room I bet! You're fun, Mr. Cliff.” Einin clasped Undertaker's hand and started dancing. “See I can be a Princess and you can be the Prince at the party.”
“I don't think I've been invited to that party...” The only party that mattered on this ship would take place after they were all past saving...And that was a party the shinigami would never be allowed to crash. Nonetheless he allowed her to dance and twirl around, his long dangly sleeves seeming suddenly rather entertaining.
“Of course you're invited. It’s your birthday party. All the Princesses in the whole world have come to give you presents and eat cake. You dance with me because my present was the bestest and then we fall in love and get married and live happily ever after just like in Cinderella. Do you like Cinderella? I don't know why her shoes were glass. They don't sound very comfortable. How did she dance in them without breaking them?”
Undertaker laughed merrily. “What an imagination! Ah the joys of youth...Ihehehehe! Well...I've given being a Princess a try before...I suppose I could be a Prince too.” Undertaker eyed the young girl's nice but well worn shoes. He would have to find Yuki, she would be able to make this girl's dreams come true. Undertaker had a soft spot for kids, and glass slippers shouldn't be so hard to create. “You can walk on glass, you know, but you have to be very careful...And you can't run, like those ladies up there.” He motioned to the first class decks above.
Einin stopped twirling and looked up where Undertaker was pointing. “Do you really think I can be like those ladies when I grow up, Mr. Cliff?” She smiled wide at Undertaker and did her best to stand straight and ladylike even fanning out her ragged dress to the best of her ability.
Undertaker smiled, patting her head again. “Of course you can, but the Princesses up there don't all have such wonderful lives. They walk on glass all day long...It must get hard on their feet. We have much more fun down here.” Undertaker winked, producing a giggle. Surely she had no idea what he really meant, but she clearly liked him for whatever reason, and he had to admit he'd grown fond of her little freckled grin. “Let's go find your mum now, hm? It's almost breakfast.”
“Ok, Mr. Cliff. Will you eat with us?” Einin batted hopeful doe eyes at Undertaker and smiled. She really did seem to adore the man.

Meanwhile in first class Sebastian was in a hurry. Ciel needed scones and a decent breakfast but did not want to be bothered with the other passengers. Something about getting to know people who would likely be dead in a few days seemed to disturb him and Sebastian was cursing Undertaker mentally for the change in his lover's mindset. He found he was not the only butler who's master did not wish to dine so early with strangers and had to wait in a small line.
That was when he noticed her. She had to be the only Asian on the ship. There she was presumably alone chatting away with that AWFUL Brown woman. Sebastian tried to brush off his distaste but then again, she was not human. That much he could tell. She did not seem to be a shinigami either and that disturbed him. She felt a bit like an old acquaintance he'd rather push out of his mind forever. Silently Sebastian hoped he was not dealing with yet another angel.
The mysterious woman in question seemed to become aware of Sebastian about the same time he became aware of her. She glanced over her shoulder, meeting his eyes automatically across the room with a look of surprise, then her ruby red lips twisted into an amused smirk and she turned back to her morning coffee and her conversation as if nothing at all had occurred.
Yuki was instantly sure this was the demon the shinigami were all in a huff about. She wondered where his little master was now...But she wouldn't have to wait long. Demons were curious creatures. She'd shown enough interest for him to come by their table on the way out at least. She'd been around long enough not to mind a bit of waiting.
Sebastian finally obtained the breakfast Ciel would enjoy and carried the tray with perfect grace. He decided to chance walking past the infuriating creature who had taken time to study him and seemed to be somewhat familiar with him somehow. If she spoke he would have a better assessment of her threat to Ciel.
As Sebastian passed she smiled brightly, but with a mysterious glint of amusement in black eyes. "Oh, one moment, Moll. Sir?" She called, catching the demon's attention with a slight wave. He was on edge, how peculiar. Then again, she was a strange creature to him. "Oh Sir, you wouldn't happen to be the one I engineered that custom toy for not so long ago? You seem oh so familiar somehow..."
Sebastian's face must have gone dangerously white. He certainly was shocked. So THIS was the one Undertaker had mentioned. “Toy, miss? Ah yes, but you see that would be something far more precious to me. I should like to discuss some qualities I had not specified in the design if you would be so kind.”
She smiled, blushing politely but none of it reached her eyes, which had gone from amused to cold and calculating...And unnervingly dead. The light was gone, and for someone who had seen as much death throughout the years as Sebastian the glassy look of dead eyes would be particularly apparent in a living breathing woman. “Those little additions were on the house, darling. I'm sure they've kept you very satisfied." Yuki laughed, turning to Molly and whispering something silly. The other woman laughed as well, but then with a frown Yuki had to excuse herself. The thought of what this silly creature wanted to discuss was too rich. This vacation was definitely worth more than she'd anticipated.
Taking Sebastian's arm boldly she guided him out onto the deck, where there were fewer people as the majority of them were still eating or in their beds. She turned to face him at the rail and clapped her hands together with a sigh and a smile. "Now my dear, tell me all about your little bouchan."
Sebastian kept his voice low so as not to draw attention to their discussion. “I understand some alterations were made and I need to know what they are. He says he does not think his own thoughts or know his own mind at times. That is the most pressing of the issues. There is also the matter of saying he could hear my thoughts as though I had spoken them. In that case his emotions had been overactive though. I understand Undertaker deemed an altered conscience was necessary as well. I need to know how far that goes so he knows what to expect. As for the other, bonus, you threw in, it would not be so bad if he were certain of his own mind. And I must be mindful, his breakfast is cooling in my hand as we speak. My bo-chan is not the patient sort.”
She seemed to wave him off. His concerns were irritating. He didn't know the half of it, how tedious. “For a human to move through your world in physical form it needs these modifications. Of course he will have a hard time feeling certain emotions, he has no soul. Humans feel with their souls, demon. That's usually a requirement. It was a trying thing to wire him so he could at least give an outward appearance of independent thought, and the conscience Undertaker requested was more than an ordeal!” Yuki let out an exasperated sigh, fanning herself and failing to see that Sebastian had gone even paler. Her words confirmed just what he'd been so afraid of, Ciel could no longer consciously decide whether or not to love Sebastian.
“I'd say he's my best work yet...His brain functions just as it would have in life based on his already formed synapses, and old and new emotional responses were approximated to fit in with what little personality we had to work with. Unfortunately those are still very new so when he gets into an excited state he'll have a few psychic spells. That's only his brain using too much energy at once...It should wear off eventually.”
Sebastian was appalled. This creature not only had altered HIS lover, but she had no qualms about it whatsoever. Still, he felt it best to have her explain things to Ciel so his lover could make up what little of his own mind he could on the matter. “I think it best if you explain this to him. He feels that these actions are the will of another and perhaps any needed changes would be best discussed with him completely aware of the intentions. Besides, you seem proud of your work.” Sebastian's eyes were void of any emotion and his voice was flat. If Ciel could not love him, nothing mattered anymore.
Yuki laughed, a light sound, but hollow at its core, like there might not be anything beneath it. “Changes? There won't be any changes. You got what you paid for, whatever it is you paid them, which I'm sure wasn't hardly enough. You wanted a body without a soul and that is what you're stuck with my friend. Explaining it to him is useless, it will only cause distress and further stress his fragile mind.” She looked over the demon, slowly realizing he looked truly hopeless. She felt almost sorry for the creature. “Though...I would love to see him in action...”
Sebastian sneered a bit involuntarily but made no hostile movement. “Follow me, my lady.”
Sebastian led her to Ciel's staterooms. He had not yet roused his lover and set to pouring the tea he had prepared before fetching breakfast. Arranging the breakfast on the tray artfully he motioned for Yuki to remain in the sitting room for a moment. He entered the bedroom and closed the door behind him. Setting the tray down on the nightstand, Sebastian kissed Ciel's cheek softly. “Bo-chan, breakfast is ready.”
Ciel stirred, murmuring a bit in his sleep before finally sitting up and looking every bit the cranky little lord he'd always been. He wiped at his eyes blearily and pulled Sebastian closer for a kiss. “I can always trust you to think of everything...”
“Bo-chan, do you remember how I told you I would seek to find the maker of your current body when we docked?” Sebastian waited for Ciel to acknowledge his statement. “It would seem she is here on the ship. I have brought her here to explain things to you. I...I shall understand if you have any reservations about meeting her, but I feel it best if you know exactly what is going on and we can see how to go about fixing anything you find disagreeable.”
Ciel found himself instantly alert at the news he had never expected to hear. In his mind finding this woman had seemed like finding and talking to God, an impossible goal at best. Yet Sebastian had always managed the impossible for him. “I would like to see her now. NOW.” Ciel threw off his covers and was out of bad quickly, surely faster than ever before in his short life. “Dress me. I'll take breakfast with her, surely you brought along enough for two?”
Sebastian might have allowed his startled emotions to show in his face, but he did not blink as Ciel jumped from his bed. Instead he fetched the day's clothing for his lover and began stripping off his nightgown. “I always bring extra, bo-chan.” Sebastian dressed Ciel deliberately but delicately. He wanted to make sure no detail was left out. At least Ciel would look his best meeting this vile creature who held his physical existence in her devious hands.
Ciel fidgeted more than usual as his butler dressed him. He was eager to meet this woman who had ruined his peaceful afterlife with her machinations. To think one woman could be responsible for all this. Once Sebastian was finished dressing him, Ciel didn't even turn to look at himself in the mirror. That was not important when meeting someone who had seen his inner desires splayed out before them.
He hesitated a bit at the door, but finally swung it open to find her picking at her nails on the settee, her legs crossed rather unladylike. She looked like Lau and Ranmao. Ciel could hardly believe that was the first thing to come to his mind considering the strange aura of...Something familiar about her. Like Ash but...Not. Not letting it show that he was unsettled he took a seat across from her in his high-backed power seat.
“Well look at you!” Yuki spoke first, not waiting to be spoken to like most women would. “You're just perfect considering...Well.”
Ciel frowned. “Sebastian hasn't informed me as to your name ma'am?”
She shrugged. “I don't believe I told him...Human names shouldn't mean much here I suppose, so you can call me Yuki-3.”
Sebastian tried to blend into the background so that Ciel could ask whatever he felt he needed to, yet he remained close should Ciel desire his hand to hold or to remove Yuki-3 from the room.
Ciel shuddered inside just thinking about her, but that was silly. Still, what sort of name was that? “Yuki then. Sebastian, be a gentleman and offer her some tea,” Ciel reproached.
But the woman raised her hand and shook her head. “No, dear. I can no longer partake in such things.”
Ciel eyed her suspiciously as he sipped his own freshly served tea. “Then what are you?”
His question seemed to delight her, but as before the light never reached her deathlike eyes. “You don't want to know that, dear. It would only disturb you.”
Ciel set his tea down, curious now. “My lover is a demon, I have a very high tolerance for such things. Whatever you are, it isn't human, and you have the power to create life where there is none, so this is an important subject.”
Sebastian set a plate before Ciel, full of scones and poached salmon with mint sauce. He had started preparing a plate for Yuki when she said she could not partake in refreshments and he stopped to take his place at Ciel's side once more. He shot Yuki a look that clearly stated Ciel was his to protect and defend. “My master, lover rather, is a strong individual and has a right to know what you told me. I want you to answer his questions if you would please. We can handle anything you have to say.”
“A lady has her secrets, don't you know? Regardless, as I told your demon you are little more than a shell without any filling now, Ciel. Without a soul you can't feel real emotion. Everything you've felt so far is just a complex interconnected system of biological wires delivering impulses I pre-programmed for your lover's pleasure.” She watched as Ciel paled dangerously and seemed to curl his limbs into himself, his breathing stopped completely. The little boy was in shock it seemed. “I told him it was best you didn't know this...”
But Ciel was no longer paying attention. His mind, no...These thoughts weren't even real...Nothing was real. He was really just a toy for Sebastian? Everything had seemed so perfect...he hadn't even changed that much...Ciel was beginning to go blue in the face. Try as he might he just couldn't convince his lungs there was a reason to keep breathing.
“What you failed to realize was that I did not request this. I never mentioned anything about changing him for me. While you have kept his personality in tact for the most part, the remnants that are left should have more control than they do. Is there any way to fix that? To give him more control? I would sooner spend my days with him in private where he spent so much time and destroy this creation if he truly is not himself. Does any part of him actually love me?”
“Love? Of course he loves you. He's programmed that way.” Yuki seemed at a loss as to how this bothered them so much. “This is how these things go. Did you have any idea what it was you asked for before you agreed to it, demon? If you hadn't eaten his soul he wouldn't be in this position to begin with.”
Ciel, meanwhile, was still struggling to breathe despite his sudden desire to curl up and die. He was hearing thoughts again, but he ignored them. He wanted Sebastian to hold him, but didn't want to play into her hands by asking.
Sebastian could see Ciel's uneasiness and reached a hand to him. “The remnants are there! The remnants are capable of thought, action, and emotion! All that would be his own!” Sebastian knew his raised voice might be frightening Ciel, but he kept his touch as calm and soothing as he could. “I do not want him to think he loves me. I want him to actually love me if that is his true emotion. Before I allowed the remnants to be placed in this doll you have made, he confided his love for me. I want to know if it is still his own. The remnants are what allow one such as I to punish one who has bargained their soul. I chose instead to give him another life and THIS is how it turns out.” Sebastian's mind was racing. He had been told by her to hide these facts from Ciel but, his own honors aside, he could not lie to his lover. If there was a way to give the remnants of Ciel's soul control, or at least more of it, he would give or do anything. The trick was to get this infuriating woman to agree to it.
Ciel gripped Sebastian's hand, taking some strength from that as she took up the argument, standing now as she wouldn't be bested, yet Ciel could see her hands were shaking, knees were shaking. Just like he did when he got emotional. And yet her eyes...There was something so wrong about her eyes.
“Listen demon! The remains you're speaking of were barely enough to reanimate the body. I used as much of what was left as I could, but that isn't exactly physical matter. You won't speak to me in that raised tone of voice until you can do better, which you haven't, thank you very much!” Yuki crossed her arms, then threw them up in exasperation. She paced a few times, Ciels eyes following her all the while, sharp as a hawk’s. Finally she stopped, taking a deep breath.
Ciel spoke again, though his voice was soft as if in a dream. “You are like me. But different.”
“Bo-chan? What are you thinking?” Sebastian placed his free hand on Ciel's shoulder protectively, all traces of anger gone from his voice. He would give anything to this creature if she would fix things so that he and Ciel could find the peace they sought. Not ready to beg yet, he could feel tears welling in his eyes. He had tried so hard to do for his lover what no one else would have dared, and it had all backfired. The only consolation he had was that Ciel was holding him in return and not pushing him away.
“Please...” Sebastian could hardly believe or even hear it...His own voice sounded so foreign to him at the moment. “Please tell me what I have to do to make it right. I did not want a doll to amuse myself. I wanted him to love. To be my companion, and even my equal. I never knew he would not feel things for himself, Yuki.”
Yuki frowned, her eyes taking in the scene before her analytically. She'd never experienced such erratic behavior in a demon before. It was...Sweet. “There is one thing...He's a smart one. I am of similar composition.”
Ciel nodded. His voice grew stronger, but only Sebastian could know how hard he was squeezing the hand in his. “You have something I don't though. What is that? How can we acquire it?”
Yuki seemed to squirm at the thought of being found out by a child she herself had programmed, but it seemed it couldn't be helped. “You don't know what you're asking for, darling. First you would have to find a necromancer...”
“But your will is your own, is it not? I will do anything he wishes. I think you are now aware of that. I would deny him nothing.” Sebastian squeezed Ciel's hand in return. He too was nervous, and now Yuki seemed more willing to speak with them on a reasonable level. He would do nothing to compromise this if he could help it. “Please, Yuki. If it will ease his mind and allow him more control I would do it.”
“What I have is an implanted soul. The soul of another bound to my body and mind by my remnants. With a fully functioning soul, yes I could feel on my own so to speak, but it isn't perfect. And do you know what it is they call us then, demon? Perhaps not, we rarely get into business with your kind.” Yuki had crossed her arms, speaking more seriously now. This could go well if she played it properly, but what was he thinking? This child wasn't ready for eternity. Especially the hellish eternity he'd experience living as she did.
Ciel didn't seem shaken yet. He sat up taller than before, letting his legs down and regaining a bit of color. “That seems like it would have a heavy price for Sebastian, and the other soul...I would be essentially killing another to save myself.”
Yuki smirked. “Not just one other.”
Sebastian turned to Ciel and knelt to one knee at his lover's level. “Bo-chan, I would pay any price if it would ease your mind and set right what has been done. There is already a soul on this ship I will soon own to do with what I please...I could keep him alive long enough to find this necromancer if it would please you.”
Yuki held up a hand before Ciel could answer. Ciel shut up, but he clearly didn't like being directed. “It would be unwise to agree so quickly. Not when you know so little. Do you know what we eat, demon? Would your little bouchan care to hear that before he chooses to take your meal from you? I will say that boy is not on the list of the dead for this ship...So it seems you've already made the decision...And yet...I wouldn't guess anyone would choose to devour human flesh of their own accord.”
Sebastian remained calm and held Ciel's hands in his. He gave Ciel a squeeze. “Whatever you decide I will follow, Ciel. Listen to her and then make your decision. I will not sway you in any way.”
Ciel nodded. Regardless of what Sebastian wanted he had always intended to make this decision on his own. His lover was under so much pressure. He just wanted to make things right for Sebastian. The strange trace of emotion almost startled him. He didn't normally get such strong bouts of compassion. Then again, his lover's thoughts of apology and regret were nearly palpable to him at the moment. “I would have to...Eat human flesh,” Ciel asked in disbelief. The woman was odd, but he couldn't see her daintily painted lips biting into a human arm or leg. However she nodded. Ciel felt queasy, but had to remind himself that what Sebastian ate wasn't much better.
“Having an entire soul inside along with remnants...Well it takes up a lot of space. I think that's the real reason, but in general I have to eat such things at least once a week to sate the hunger. It's rather unappealing, especially when they beg. But your demon here I'm sure could devour the souls and let you take whatever is left,” Yuki said.
Ciel looked up to Sebastian. He wanted to do what his love thought was best. If he had to eat flesh to stay in this world and feel with Sebastian that was what he would do. “What is the price for the...Transformation?”
Sebastian gave a reassuring squeeze to Ciel's hands and took in a breath of resolve. There was another question lingering in his mind at this prospect. Turning to Yuki his voice remained quiet and calm, but focused. “What other changes would occur in him if he goes through with this? Surly it is not something so simple as the melding of other souls to his own. I want no detail left out. If he is to do this then he will know everything. I left him out of the process before and was blind-sided by the effects. I will have him make an informed decision.”
“He will be very very hungry. I guarantee that much. The business itself shouldn't leave any permanent changes otherwise. His eyes will stay like mine...But he will be able to feel and think more independently if the council approves it. He will be an immortal like I am...And his body will never change. Occasionally it might start to rot...At that point you can just bring him in for a tune-up I suppose. It's only happened to me a handful of times I think...”
Ciel found himself fighting a grimace at the thought. He would in essence become what the Queen and his parents had...A custom body with a patchwork soul. None of that mattered though, if this path would keep him close to his lover. He wished there was some way of communicating that to Sebastian.
“Bo-chan, I will go along with whatever you decide, but I do believe this is not something to be entered into lightly. If your body will never change you will never grow up completely. A fate that was to be yours in the first place, I know. But if you wish to do so now, that is something to consider. I would imagine he would be as hungry as a young demon who has little control. This means you will be a true killer. I would not necessarily be your sword. It does not sound that much unlike the dolls we have encountered in the past. You were disgusted by them. I want you to think about all of these things before you decide, bo-chan. Nothing will change the fact that I love you and will follow you anywhere. I merely want you to have this as your decision.” Sebastian kissed Ciel softly on the lips hoping to convey all that he felt to his lover.
He remembered how vile the dolls were and how Ciel had not been alone in his loathing of the putrid things, but if his lover chose this path, he would follow him, never leaving his side. His lover would not merely kill for revenge through someone else. No, Ciel would become a killer, a monster all on his own. Just like himself. His body would remain that of a young boy on the verge on manhood forever. Sebastian could not help but feel that if it were truly Ciel somewhere inside making the decision he too would be having these doubts. He would not deny his lover the option of the choice, but he did not think his lover would make such a choice of his own will. The fact that someone had programmed him to do what Sebastian wanted brought fear to his mind that Ciel would do this believing it would bring them closer, when in fact, Sebastian was having his doubts because of who he knew his lover to be before death. “Remember, regardless of your choice I am always with you.”
Ciel couldn't think straight. Whether it was because Yuki was in the room or because of his own doubts that his reasoning would be sound, he just couldn't bring himself to form an opinion. Not yet. “Sebastian and I will have to discuss this development together, alone. Where can we find you once we have settled?”
Yuki seemed let down, thinking that given the proper amount of time the demon would convince his lover otherwise. But what did it matter? They were both children, a human child and a demon child, playing with his food in this manner...How immature. “I will be in the dark dimension, Between here and hell, just below the Shinigami's realm…Your demon should know how to get there.”
“I do. And I can find you as Yuki-3 or do you go by another name there?”
“You will find me by that name, demon. I was the third Yuki of my race, fitting isn't it? And of course you can feel free to contact me anytime during this vacation...” She stepped close to Ciel, patting his shoulders and cheek as if admiring a well-constructed doll, which he was to her. “Marvelous...”
Ciel glared, letting go of Sebastian's hand and clearly wanting her to be gone already. This person wasn't the slightest bit human at all.
“Indeed. If Ciel wishes it I will seek you out for further advice. I believe we have much to discuss. I do hope you enjoy your vacation. Thank you for all of your assistance.” Sebastian stood and motioned to the door he started to approach.
Yuki reluctantly followed Sebastian to the door, smiling almost flirtatiously at him as he let her out. “It's a shame you take the little one so seriously...You could have so much more fun without that tie-down...” She winked and turned before he could slam the door, knowing it gave her the upper hand to leave first. This vacation had suddenly gotten much more entertaining.
Sebastian made sure the door was closed and locked. He turned and walked to Ciel dropping to his knee so he could meet his lover's eyes. “Bo-chan, what are your impressions on this idea? Do not aim to please me since all it takes to please me is your happiness by my side.”
“It might not be so bad. You like me this way...Young...Tight...I would get used to it. But would you be disgusted by me? If I ate...If I ever rot.. It sounds unappealing...But not as unappealing as this constant worry that I'm not in my right mind...”
“Perhaps there is another way. She cannot have the only answer. She is just all I have found so far. I won't stop until I find a way for you to be happy.” Sebastian pulled Ciel close to his chest in an embrace kissing his forehead softly. “Nothing but that really matters to me. I want your love, but only if it is yours. She used what she knew of your personality to program you as you are. That must mean something. I would help you find food and take you in if you needed to be fixed should you choose that. Anything as long as it makes you happy.”
“I want you to be happy as well, if you can feel such things. It would be unfair if I were the one happy. I am the one who sold my soul, I should be the one to suffer most in this situation.” Ciel seemed resolute about that point. He knew this second life with Sebastian was all extra. He had never expected it to be easy. “If I have to become a monster to love a monster I know I can. But I want to know what you think about all this. Truly...”
“To be honest I do not trust her, bo-chan. I could love you as a monster as surely as I love you as a human. It matters not to me. Perhaps there is a way to help you gain more control without taking such drastic measures. If such a way exists I will find it. When have I completely failed you?”
“You've never failed me...I only want this to be quick. The longer I have to doubt myself the more confused and frightened I become.” Ciel sighed and looked up at Sebastian. He had always had such expressive eyes, something that would be quickly gone if he were to choose Yuki's suggested path. “You know how much I live for control...”
“I do. I just don't want to lose any more of you. I...” Sebastian lowered his head and seemed frustrated for a moment but quickly recovered only to look Ciel in the eye and remove the eye patch so he could see both of them. “I love you too damn much to lose any more of you just to fix this mess. She says it would make you like her. If she was like that alive...” Sebastian shuddered. “I just can't imagine how she would be considered human in the slightest at any point in time. You were. I don't want to lose that about you.”
Sebastian kissed Ciel's soft lips for a moment forgetting his promise to give Ciel control over the relationship. He needed to show Ciel how he felt just then. All of his love filled his mind and mouth as he forced his lover's lips apart to deepen the kiss. He wrapped his hand into Ciel's hair and tugged lightly. Suddenly remembering his vow Sebastian broke off the kiss in fear that he may have broken Ciel's trust again. He looked intently into his lover's eyes and waited for any sign of a response to either what he said or the kiss.
Ciel's cheeks had reddened a bit, but Ciel himself couldn't be sure that was even his own. It could just be a programmed response based on his innocence, which Sebastian had always seemed to find attractive. “I-I got the impression she was...Is, very old. There could be any number of reasons for her to be the way she is.” Ciel touched his lover's face, tracing his fingers over the soft lips that so often caressed his own. “I don't blame you for any of this. I was the one who sold my soul to you...You could have destroyed me, but you kept me here. Whatever she did to my mind, I would have done anything you wanted even before that.”
Sebastian melted into Ciel at those words. He pressed his lips hard against his lover's and eagerly claimed Ciel's mouth for his own. Sebastian's hands pulled Ciel closer to his body and moaned into his lover. He sucked on Ciel's tongue as he pulled away just enough so that his lips brushed against Ciel's when he spoke. “I would do anything for you.”
Ciel bit at his own lip. He wasn't sure how to word this, how to make Sebastian understand that it was truly his wish. It involved giving up a lot of control, but for his lover he knew he could. Everything he was he owed to his love regardless. “Then, Sebastian, you have to make this decision for me. You have to choose, because I can't be trusted to be in my right mind now. Do what you think is best to get me back. I trust you.”
“I think I will search for a better way. There must be one, bo-chan. I can't bear to lose any more of you.” Sebastian adjusted his pants to try and conceal his growing desire. If his lover had given him this power he would need to maintain the trust Ciel had for him by not taking advantage of his heightened arousal. Sex must be initiated by his lover until they could be certain Ciel was of a clear, or at least clearer, mind. “Do one thing for me. Keep track of your impulses and mind reading. Perhaps there are things that trigger them. If we can identify those we may be able to avoid the possibility of you doing something against your will.”
“I'm feeling impulsive now actually.” Ciel voice seemed to drop a level, a tone deeper than his normal. Perhaps his voice was changing. That would be interesting, growing up. Sebastian was right, there had to be a different way. If Sebastian would even still want him if he ever grew up. He let that bothersome thought drift past his mind. It was counterproductive to his current desires. “What sort of desserts did you bring me this morning? I want something sweet and sticky to lick off your skin...”
An evil grin caressed Sebastian's mouth. His eyes flashed red with lust. “The mint sauce should cause one's skin to tingle rather pleasantly. As for the pastries, the fruit fillings of strawberries and raspberries are quite sweet and creamy, bouchan. Shall I prepare myself to feed you as you have requested?”
With a grin almost equally filled with lust Ciel leaned back and licked his lips. “Yes...I do think that would be acceptable. But only if I may watch the preparations. It seems they'll be equally enjoyable...”
Sebastian stood and removed his coat as he knelt down on one knee bowing before Ciel. “Yes, my lord.” Casting the coat aside Sebastian licked his fingers before slowly undoing the buttons on his vest. He left the open vest in places as his fingertips snaked down his shirt unfastening buttons and revealing hints of his sculpted chest beneath. Sebastian allowed the shirt and vest to fall to the floor before loosening his belt and pants. Sebastian turned away and made quite a display of bending over to give his lover a wonderful view of his ass while he removed his pants and underclothes. The butler then walked over to the tray of breakfast pastries and presented it to Ciel. “Where would you like me to lie down, bouchan?”
“Upon the coffee table there, considering you are to be a meal you may as well be a proper one...” Ciel took the tray, poking at some jelly-filled pastries and popping a scone into his mouth as he watched Sebastian situate himself. Josephine was right, he had certainly caught himself a handsome man. His lover's body was lean, sculpted, perfection. The ideal drop-back for a meal of his favorite foods. “Perhaps I'll go ahead and sample some flesh as well...Since I may soon be making a full-time habit of it...” He stood and relocated himself to the floor beside the coffee table, teasingly running small manicured nails down the demon's arm.
Sebastian moaned as Ciel's nails glided across his skin. His smile remained in place and he allowed his eyes to maintain their red glow. “Hnn, bouchan.” Sebastian shivered as a wave of delight shot through his body like an electric bolt. He felt so exposed and available to his lover. Just as Ciel had given his entire being to Sebastian freely, Sebastian gave himself in return.
Ciel smiled to himself, feeling very satisfied as he watched his lover practically quiver with anticipation. He first removed a raspberry pastry, ripping it in half and allowing its filling to drip maddeningly slowly onto his love's nipples and chest. He likewise defiled another two of the same until Sebastian's stomach and chest seemed to have gone through a raspberry murder spree. Not that he would stop there. He crowned his love's quite obvious erection with the creme off an apple tart, and drizzled mint sauce all along the rest knowing, as Sebastian had said, that the mint would tingle as long as it stayed there. And he would save the best for last. He set a creme puff between his lover's lips and leaned in to take it from him, allowing it to become a heated kiss. Ciel couldn't have known how much he'd love decorating his lover in delicious desserts until now.
Sebastian let out a lustful hiss as the mint sauce began to tingle. His distraction was cut short by the way Ciel reversed their roles in a savage kiss. Sebastian could scarcely breathe with the way Ciel was kissing him. Need coursed through him and the cool air hitting the mint was relentless. “Nnn, Ciel. Oh...”
"Hush, breakfast. Let me eat you,” he muttered almost apathetically as he continued on to lick the raspberry filling from one of Sebastian's already perked nipples. He smirked to himself though as he made very sure to lick every last bit of it from his love's skin, licking and sucking at the demon's bare flesh from one nipple to the next, and then slowly down his stomach, not wanting to leave a speck behind. It was too tasty to waste, sex or no.
Sebastian tried desperately to obey the mild order his lover had given him. He remained as still as he could but shivers racked his body full of pleasure and he knew he was moaning more often than food should. How could he remain quiet when Ciel was bringing his arousal to an almost painful level? Sebastian bit down on his lip to prevent himself from begging his lover to allow him to touch and feel him. Breakfast did not beg.
"That wasn't an order, Sebastian...You can do as you wish,” Ciel said with a grin, revealing he had once again read his lover's mind unwillingly. He dipped his tongue deep into his love's belly button, sucking out some of the filling that had gotten in there. He knew the tingling in Sebastian's loins would only be getting worse the longer this took, and he certainly liked it that way.
Sebastian grinned wider and reached out to run his hands along Ciel's inner thighs. Using his left hand to undo his lover's pants his right cupped Ciel's erection through the fabric. Gently he massaged his lover and continued to moan and pant. Ciel's name escaped his lips more than once. The mint was driving him mad and he knew his lover must be enjoying that fact. “I do believe, nnn, that you enjoy torturing me almost as much, ahh, as I enjoy torturing you, bouchan.”
"Then we must be meant to be,” Ciel murmured, a soft moan escaping his lips as Sebastian touched him. The demon was much too good with his hands. Once he'd finally licked away all that was left of his raspberry delight Ciel finally moved on to more...Pressing matters. “But I also believe you like torture...I think that you like to be vulnerable and submissive to me...Somewhere inside.” He gently, barely touching skin, licked the creme from the very tip of his lover's length.
"Oh, Ciel...” Sebastian pushed his lover's pants to the floor and tried in vain to undo the buttons on his shirt. He was too lost in pleasure to fiddle with buttons. The demonic gleam in his eyes flashed brighter for a moment when Sebastian got an idea. “Bouchan, I may submit to you in some ways, but we will always desire the other to submit, would you not agree?” Sebastian allowed his hand to wander to his cock and swirled his fingers in the mint sauce before circling his lover's ass and thrusting a finger inside. The mint sauce would now taunt them both, but still Sebastian would wait for his lover to beg for him to plunge inside his heat. Ciel would call out his name. He knew it.
Ciel gasped, the mint tingling inside him, almost burning but not enough to cross the threshold of pain, just enough to bother, make him squirm restlessly. He clenched hard around his love's probing finger, momentarily forgetting what it was he'd been doing before the penetration. “Ah! Mm...Sebastian...” Ciel could hear his breathing accelerate and he swallowed to calm himself, knowing exactly what his lover wished to do and wanting it just as badly. “I miss the way you thrust into me quickly...When you're inflamed with passion...I don't always have to be the master.”
Sebastian needed no further prompting. Swiftly he rose from the table and reversed their positions. Sebastian tore Ciel's shirt from his trembling body and hoisted his legs up over his shoulders. In one hard thrust he entered Ciel and gave his lover little time to adjust as he began to pound without mercy into the hot vice wrapped around his cock. Sebastian took his clean hand and dipped his fingertips into some of the creamy fillings left on the tray. He reached his hand to Ciel's lips and urged his mouth open. He wanted to see Ciel suck the life out of his fingers as though they were his erection. To see Ciel so willing to submit to him. This was his alone to enjoy as long as his lover would have him. He doubted Ciel would leave him ever. The two had a powerful bond that had transcended death beyond the contract. Sebastian's thrusts grew more ruthless and he craved to hear his lover scream his name more than anything else. More than even his own release.
Ciel allowed his lover's fingers to penetrate his throat, sucking them just as he knew he should, loving the taste of creme and Sebastian. Meanwhile his ass was taking all of Sebastian's length and tingling deep inside from the minty sauce. He could feel it teasing him from the inside even while Sebastian pulled out. Ciel could feel his legs pulling Sebastian closer. He wanted to feel his love's body all over his own, and he truly thought that was his own desire. “O-ohh! S-Sebas-tian! Ah!” He couldn't contain the little exclamations of lust even as he continued to suck on the demon's fingers.
Sebastian thrust harder each time Ciel spoke his name. He loved watching those lips curl around his fingers and take them in deep. If he wanted his lover to scream his name he would have to remove those fingers though. Sebastian allowed Ciel to deep throat his fingers one last time before he slid them out and ran his now extended claws down his lover's chest and sides coming to rest on those small hips. Using the hips to propel his lover Sebastian allowed his cock to nearly slide out of Ciel's ass only to thrust back into him with great force and lean down to lick his throat. “Scream for me, my love.” Sebastian's voice was a growled whisper. “Beg for me to fill you and scream my name for me.”
“Sebastian!” The combined burning sensation inside him and Sebastian's demanding thrusts were sending Ciel far over the edge. As much as he loved controlling the demon, it was so much easier to just give in to the pleasure his love provided. He knew that long after Sebastian had finished he would still feel the mint inside, and the thought of squirming with arousal throughout the day only made him want his devious lover more. “Nnn Sebastian...Yes! Yes d-dont stop!” Ciel screamed as he threw his head back, baring his throat to Sebastian's often indulged blood lust.
Sebastian bit down on Ciel's exposed flesh, careful not to tear into him too badly to be healed but enough to draw some blood from his lover. Ciel's orgasm made his ass clench tighter around Sebastian's cock and Sebastian found himself coming inside his lover only moments after Ciel's warmth had spilled onto their chests and stomachs.
Upon finding his release Sebastian licked Ciel's wound to heal it and smiled at his lover. His eyes still glowing and now blood dripping from his mouth, Sebastian looked every bit the demon that he was as his mouth claimed Ciel's in another kiss. He broke the kiss only to smile lovingly at Ciel. He slid out of his lover and towered over him lowering his body to lick the evidence of Ciel's orgasm clean. He paused only a moment to wink at his lover. “You had your treat, this is mine. You taste lovelier than anything I could ever conjure up in a kitchen.” Sebastian cleaned every inch of Ciel's skin that way and then kissed his lover once more.
Ciel lay back, always prone to becoming very tired after their lovemaking. Sebastian was a very enthusiastic lover. He did let out a cute moan of appreciation as Sebastian commented on his taste. But now that the intensity of the moment was wearing off, his doubts seemed to find their way back to the forefront in his mind. That was good though, at the very least they were his own doubts. He was sure of that. “Sebastian, would you still enjoy my body...If I grew up?”
“I would enjoy you always regardless of your form. I would hope you knew that on your own, bo-chan.” Sebastian kissed Ciel's forehead softly before lifting his lover up to lower him onto the floor where they could cuddle. Ciel needed reassurance now and Sebastian would not deny him.
“But you enjoy me most this way don't you? You enjoy corrupting the child in me...I always believed that was the appeal. That was why I never made you age me.” Ciel wasn't sure he cared for lying on the floor, but he did love the feeling of Sebastian's arms around him.
Sebastian felt confused by the statement. True he had loved Ciel at first sight, the perfect picture of broken and battered innocence begging, no demanding his revenge, but was it really because he was so young? Until now Sebastian had never thought of it.
“Bo-chan, I do not know what corruption I could deliver to you that you have not already had thrown upon you, or created yourself. I have honestly never given your aging a second thought one way or the other. I do not believe that it would matter to me. I would stop you before you grew wizened because I do not think that would suit you. But otherwise it does not seem to bother my mind if you age or not.”
Ciel was glad if a bit surprised, but content with that response. At least Sebastian had never liked him for only his body, though he was still reluctant to believe the demon didn't enjoy his small body a great deal the way it was. “Then I may grow up yet. It wouldn't be unwelcome.” He snuggled into his love's arms for a moment's rest before starting the day, to think they'd already been through all this and it wasn't even noon.

Sebastian was on his way to acquire lunch for Ciel. His lover had been contented to spend the day in his arms and wanted nothing more than for him to hurry and bring his meal to him so they could eat in private. He was rounding a corner in the somewhat narrow hallway when he heard a familiar flamboyant voice sound. Praying to whoever would listen to a demon like himself, Sebastian hoped Grell was not going in the same direction. When he saw the "woman" with red hair walking toward him he muttered a curse at his misfortune under his breath. Perhaps the redhead would not notice him for once?
“Sebastian! My my who would have thought YOU'd be on this cursed wreck as well...” Grell blew a kiss and leaned against the wall, arching his body in just a way the Sebastian would have to go through him to get down the hall. He had been off to get some air with the ladies on the main deck, leaving William to his work for a short while. But with Sebastian falling right into his hands like this it was clearly fate that he torment the demon with his beauty a while.
“Indeed.” Sebastian drew in a breath clearly in aggravation at the shinigami's arrogance. To think he still believed Sebastian wanted to be in his vile presence any more than absolutely necessary. “I have business to attend to here. I'm sure you've received the information.” Despite his irritation a cruel smile crossed Sebastian's lips. Sinking this ship would be quite enjoyable. The many souls being cast off to possibly be eaten if any of his kind had their way. Besides, fear always made them taste a bit better.
“Oh don't do that. You know we can't let you have any of these souls...We have quite a team set up here. You get your soul and don't touch ours, alright? But you can touch me~ I wouldn't mind if you touched mee~” Grell couldn't help himself, it was almost like diarrhea of the mouth. What was he doing? He was with Will now wasn't he...WASN'T HE? But seeing Sebastian like this...Just knowing what he was thinking when he made that oh-so-sexy evil face...It was too much for the redhead to handle all at once.
“I have no desire for the others. Do what you must. Now if you would excuse me I have someone waiting for lunch in our staterooms. He does not like to be kept waiting.” Sebastian allowed his smile to drop and rolled his eyes as Grell threw himself at him yet again. The man was persistent if nothing else. Sebastian looked impatiently at Grell waiting for him to move. It would not look well for him to shove what most believed to be a lady out of his way. Though the thought was quite entertaining.
Grell crossed his arms, refusing to budge. When Sebastian inched closer the shinigami threw his arms around his crush only to be politely moved to the side. Now Sebastian was escaping him. Who knew when he'd get a chance to see the demon again. “Sebas-chan, you monster, respect a lady when she talks to you! You weren't always so quick to dismiss, not after your little Phantomhive died!”
Sebastian stopped dead in his tracks. The memories flooding back to him brought pain to his eyes and heart. How far he had come since then?
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
The ashes were still falling like a gray snow dusting everything in their path. Sebastian had just seen to his first love's death. Now Ciel belonged to him completely, but it was best not to think on that too much. He had already entertained thoughts of letting the boy live and now he was regretting the finest meal he'd had in centuries. Regrets were for humans and not demons like himself.
He found his way to Ciel's old room and though the sheets were singed, the bed had remained in tact. Nevermore would he dress his master for bed or fetch him his morning tea. A voice had penetrated the silence then. Shrill and familiar. Sebastian knew he should be annoyed by it, but somehow it didn't matter. Nothing mattered to him anymore. He simply turned and stared at the voice's owner with a blank expression on his face. The resulting jaw drop from Grell would have been amusing had he cared. Here was Grell Sutcliffe, and he wasn't insulting or avoiding the shinigami. He was simply there.
Grell had been so glad then, to see the butler without his charge, finally have a chance to be alone with his love without that brat getting in the way. There was something so beautiful about his sadness, something Grell wanted to fuck until it got all better. “Sebas-chan...Going down with your ship?”
The lack of response was strange. Normally he would have at least gotten a resounding no by now. “Sebas-chan? There's nothing here...I had thought you would be eagerly awaiting your departure…You know, there's something so seductive about the post-feeding glow of a demon.” Grell hugged himself, momentarily lost in a fantasy involving the charred bed frame and leather restraints.
Sebastian looked around at the burnt remains of the last dressing gown Ciel had worn and lifted it into his arms. The eye patch was safely tucked in his pocket, but anything that held traces of his first love seemed to comfort him now. Sebastian brought the fabric to his lips and kissed it, not caring if Grell did see his weak and sad state. “You're right.”
“Right about what?” Grell was slightly offended now by Sebastian's mopey state. This wasn't the man he loved, this was some romantic amateur. But his love was that he wanted to comfort Sebastian if he could. With his body if that was possible. He stepped around a pile of charred...Chair? Something like that. “This isn't like you Sebas-chan...Crying over that dead boy as if you're not the one who killed him. Any sensible man would forget such fleeting things and love someone they could be with forever. Like moi~”
Sebastian's face suddenly lit up. He dropped the gown to the floor and lost composure for a moment running to Grell with a smile on his tear-stricken face. He took Grell into his arms in a hug that was quite friendly, but very chaste. “You're a genius, Grell! Someone I can be with forever.” Sebastian let go of Grell and placed a hand to his chin as often he did while deep in thought. He was mumbling softly to himself but clearly focused and pleased with something. Some words were clear. Favor, owed, remnants...“Only a matter of how long it will take them to build it.”
Grell blinked, having a very unexpected, instantaneous orgasm as Sebastian's arms closed around him. He suddenly had to wonder how strong demon's were perceptually, and if the other would notice it. Once he was finally released Grell's face was as red as his hair and he had to hold his nose pinched shut to fight off a nosebleed. “O-oh Sebastian..I mean...I always thought you would swing my way once the Phantomhive boy was disposed of but I never knew it would be so sudden! We don't have anything to build, let's make babies right now!”
“Stop being disgusting I'm trying to think,” Sebastian chastised, but his voice did not contain its usual contempt. Sebastian seemed very happy about something. Then he turned to Grell. “He's not gone completely and you have given me inspiration as to how I can make things right. To be honest I never thought I would say this to you, but thank you.”
“WHAT!?!” Grell was suddenly furious. “I gave you an idea about the kid?? But I thought you were hastily conjuring images of the many ways you would ravage MY body by morning!” But finally perceiving the hint of a loving smile on Sebastian's lips, the twinkle of true love in his eyes, Grell let off his steam rather quickly. “So this is how it's going to be with us...Not even a chance with me, Sebas-chan?”
“Grell, it has been only Ciel for me since I first laid eyes on him.” Sebastian's smile never faded even throughout Grell's outburst. Thoughts of Ciel returning to him, no matter how distant, made him happier than he'd ever been. Sebastian did return to face Grell, placing a hand to his face. “I really do mean that thank you.”
Grell leaned against the wall, pouting a bit, clearly still a tad upset by this new letdown. “All this time I thought it was because you didn't fancy men...But I guess you don't after all...Only boys...” With a dramatic sigh he stood up straight again, quickly invading Sebastian's private space and kissing his lips even before the demon could stop him. There wasn't any sense of glory in his eyes though. The Phantomhive boy had defeated him before he'd even been part of the picture. “Undertaker can help you...”
Sebastian's gut reaction was to shove Grell off of him and vomit, yet his mood was so happy that he could not bring himself to give in. He braced his arms on Grell's holding him at a somewhat reasonable distance, but took care not to hurt him. “I could almost kiss you back for that tip.”
Grell winked. He had this all planned. Of course Undertaker, even with his little pink pen, couldn't reverse this curse, and after chasing his tail a while surely Sebastian would come back to him. He was a demon, it couldn't take more than a century for him to forget this one boy. “That won't be necessary. Just follow your heart, Romeo.”
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
Back on the Titanic Sebastian eyed Grell suspiciously. “What is it that you want from me then? What is my payment for the information you gave me that brought him back to me? Whatever it is...I can't deny I owe you for it.”
Grell was surprised by the sudden change, but if Sebastian was recalling the past he surely remembered the tip Grell gave him. Except for the fact it should have never happened. The tip was a lie, and now he'd dug his own grave...How ironic of a shinigami. “Well...You could make sweet love to me. That would be adequate...” He might as well get what he could now. Sebastian was shamelessly handsome in his new disguise.
“I don't think my lover would appreciate that very much. I consider myself quite loyal to him. And I know you are not available currently either.” Sebastian saw Grell's disappointment but a promise was a promise. Damn demons and their word of honor! “I could resolve to pay you as I promised that day though.”
“I'm always available for you Sebas-chan...” Grell batted false lashes seductively. “It would be our little secret...The child would never even know. It's really only a very small price for my help in getting him all to yourself forever.”
Sebastian drew in a deep breath. He would have to make it good or the redhead would demand he do it again. That was something he wanted to avoid. Sebastian looked down both ends of the hallway and spotted a small alcove. He reached out and grabbed Grell's hand pulling just enough to let the man know to follow.
Once tucked away in the alcove, Sebastian ran his hands up Grell's arms to meet his shoulders. He slid one hand behind Grell's head and tugged on his hair causing a slight amount of pain, but nothing severe. He pulled Grell's face toward his own in a savage kiss. He demanded Grell's lips to part and drove his tongue into the shinigami's mouth. Sebastian's hands wandered down Grell's back and while his right came to rest on the man's waist, the left reached further down to cup Grell's ass. He could hear Grell panting and moaning as he ravaged the man's mouth.
Grell wouldn't let this new opportunity go. As Sebastian kissed him he did his utmost to show the demon he was worth this, kissing back with every bit of emotion he could muster, allowing his hands to explore Sebastian's back and chest. He moaned deeply into the kiss. At one time he would have come already, but since he'd actually started having sex he'd gotten a bit more self-control in that regard.
Sebastian sucked and nipped at Grell's tongue a few moments more and then pulled away biting Grell's lower lip. He stood upright once more and adjusted his tailcoat and glasses briefly “Does that meet your satisfaction?”
It was over entirely too soon, but Grell was left panting for breath. “I-it's a start.” Grell fanned himself, trying to keep from swooning. Now he was hard...And in a dress. That was just completely unacceptable. “You can't just expect to walk away after that S-Sebas-chan...” The shinigami, unlike Ciel, did have the strength to battle the demon. He suddenly reversed their positions, shoving Sebastian up against the wall of the alcove and kissed him fiercely, biting deep into the demon's lip when he tried to pull away. “If you owe me Sebas-chan it's on my terms.” Grell's hand had found Sebastian's cock, cupping it through his pants to accentuate the point.
Sebastian was reeling inside. He grabbed at Grell's hand and pulled his hand away from his cock. Through the kiss he managed to hiss at Grell. “All you get is a kiss, Grell. That belongs to Ciel. If you found my kiss so unsatisfactory then I will not stop you from doing as you please with another one. But I warn you, do not push me. I've managed to cause you great pain before and I won't hesitate to do it again.”
“Oh Sebas-chan you are such a tease...Do you really think I could get by with only a kiss when your presence burns me up completely like it does?” Grell let go of the demon, turning away and patting at his hair to make sure it hadn't come undone. He would need a trip to the staterooms in any case as walking about with a conspicuous tent in one's skirts was hardly acceptable for a lady. He missed the days of bulge-concealing hoop skirts. “I will get everything I want from you...But when you least expect it. If you won't uphold your end of this bargain I might even have to do it in front of the little master...”
“The payment is a kiss to your satisfaction and nothing more. Get the rest from your lover.” Sebastian once more adjusted his vest and jacket before pulling out his pocket watch and sighing as he clicked it open. “You have put me behind schedule. I must cut this short. Do reconsider seeing your lover about the rest and not coming to me again. I have no desire for you and I thought I had made that perfectly clear.”
Sebastian tucked the watch away and turned to complete his mission for Ciel. With any luck Grell would go back to William and stop this nauseating behavior as soon as possible.

(A/N: Well there you have it. Grell finally got his kiss. I was seething with it because I really push Sebby x Ciel and think Grell has no real chance there. But, a deal is a deal and Grell did lead him to having Ciel here with him again, even if it was by mistake. Next chapter has a bit of an extreme scene. Ciel's test of Sebastian's faithfulness after kissing Grell is nothing short of scandalous! But I know you all like that. ^_~ Grell has some explaining to do to poor Will too. Will really does adore his vision in red. He's going to be crushed.)
