The next three days passed very slowly or it seemed like it for Neuro, Sasazuka and Godai. Without Yako there the three men stayed away from each other as much as possible. Neuro kept his mind busy by reading half of library learning everything the Yako’s grandmothers had written and whatever else was there. He kept Yako against him at all times except when Xia came to give her bath. But even then he was in ear distance and kept his senses on what she was doing. First night Yako was sleep he had went up to master bedroom discovered that it was better than her old bedroom. The master bedroom had amazing view of Entre Island from every direction from balcony. There was still same old beak over bed but bed was made to be a nest. There were hot spring and small pool along with shower. He wasn’t sure what old one looked like but he was sure it didn’t have View Island towards water. He didn’t sleep that night or following two nights. If there was chance she woken up and found he was sleep did she would leave his side dispute the threat he made last time she did, she may of forgot. If she wasn’t by his side he would destroy half house trying to find her.
Their kiss calmed him yet also made his instincts heighten to where he could not be without her not until she wake and they discuss it. He will never let her go and not give up until she agree to be his mate. Another day passed, Neuro began grow worry when she wasn’t beginning wake up. He went up to Sasazuka, who was relaxing under the tree.
“Why isn’t she waking up?” he demanded.
Sasazuka gently placed hand on her head. “She has high fever, it is side effect of drug. She needs be cooled down slowly.” He said
Neuro nod, he would never be able to feel the difference in her temperature since he was always warm. He went back to their room where Xia was waiting for him. She gestured to springs where a white rob already prepared for her. Neuro let Xia changed Yako in his arms making sure not looking. He would not look at his louses body until his louse allowed him to. After all if he sees then he would want do lot more then touch and he wants her be wake and responded of his actions to her. After Yako was changed into the robe, he gently set her down on bench letting Xia put pillow under her head and undressed. Once done he carefully picked her up and walked into cold spring. Hissing in his displeasure he sat down, making sure to submerge her lower half while keeping her head above water. After while Godai came up to him. “Sasazuka wanted me to check on her temperature.” He said softly
Neuro nod and gently raised her upper half out of the water, so he could reach her. Godai’s hand got half way until Yako’s eyes slowly open up. With widen eyes and not knowing what was going on, she screamed and repeated hit punched Godia until he fell into water. Yako turned, hiding her head into Neuro’s shoulder unknowingly he was naked.
Then she finally noticed she could feel bare skin beneath her touch. More specific Neuro’s bare skin. Not bothering to ask any questions or even look over at Godai’s direction, she bolted towards the door, hiding behind screen. She poke her head out bit looking at them both.
Neuro and Godai looked at each other question. It wasn’t uncommon for those been in drug induce comas to forget everyone and everything. Godai slowly got out of water. “Yako-chan, do you remember us?” he asked softly trying not show hurt in his voice.
Yako looked at him confused. “Of course I do Godai-san that not why I’m hiding.” She said softly
Neuro relaxed bit than turned to her. “Then why are you acting this way louse.” He demanded.
Yako tear up. “Because I don’t where I am, and I can remember what happen after I went school, after that is complete blur. I’m so confused.” She said softy tears going down her faces, dropping to her knees, she looked up at Neuro.
Neuro dug his talons into his palms. The six days gone like they never happened. Gently he kneeled down to her and wrapped arm around her bringing her close to him. Yako froze bit, before leaning into him. She didn’t know what happen between them but if he that upset then it was either good or bad or perhaps both. When she felt his talon grip into her side, she decided on third. She just have find out what happen and figure out what happen between her and Neuro. Maybe whatever happen before she fell asleep could lead to them being together as couple. Silently hoping, she slowly wrapped her arms around his neck so he could pick her up. As he stood she rest her head on his shoulder feeling him slightly relax. He carried her to bedroom, keeping her close until Godai left.
Yako didn’t fight nor did she try get away when he laid down in bed. As they laid there, she felt him gently play with her hair. Normally when he touches her hair it usually in rough matter and he trying hurt her.
Yako decided right then, that she going try figure out what exactly happen between them. Being bit bold she nuzzled his neck softy, hearing him purr softly. It would have made her want giggle but she held it back not wanting to ruin the moment. She gently plays with trends of his hair, watching them wrap around her figures.
Neuro purred lightly, trying to encourage her to continue her actions. If she gets more bold perhaps her memory of past four days will come back and then they move on otherwise he just build on this, he’ll get his mate one way or another. Yuko smiled and nuzzled his neck, then her stomach grumbled causing her blush into his neck.
Neuro smirked and slowly pulled them part, even though every part of his body screamed at him not to. Yako looked up at him confused. Before she could ask him anything a soft tap came from door.
Zako and Xia came in with food and change of clothes. “Yako-sama welcome back home to island. This my mate Xia, she will tend to you in areas I cannot as male.” He said low then bowed to her.
Yako nod confusedly looking back and forth from Neuro and Zako. “My head hurts.” She whispered softly.
Zako nod. “Of course it is Yako-sama, you went through something very dramatic and it take time for you remember what has happen. But for now please eat this small meal and rest more. It should help with your head and perhaps help you remember.” He said
Yako nod, Xia came up to them and set the small tray on table, and change of clothes on bed. “Yako-sama please follow me to bathroom and I’ll help you change, I do not want you get a cold from the wet robe.” She said softy bowing to her.
Yako looked down shocked and blushed deeply nodding. Yako extended her hand to her which Xia carefully took and lead her to bathroom. Xia led her to bench and have her sit on while Xia slowly stripped her wet robe. Yako blushed wanting to cover up her small teenage body. Xia looked up at her. “Yako-sama, you have beautiful body, and I expect nothing less than that from my mistress. I’m honored to serve you.” She said softly
Yako smiled softly to her. “Thank you Xia-san” she said softly
Xia nod and began dressing her in a hakama and lead her back to bedroom. Once she was close to bed, Neuro grabbed her hand and softly pulled her to him. He settled her in his lap, watching Zako and Xia set up her meal.
Yako looked up at Neuro, still not completely sure what to do but relaxed against him. This isn’t worse thing he could do and at least he not trying hurt her, so in her book this was good. Yako began eating bowl of rice in front of her before moving on to other dishes and tea before finishing it.
Once she was finished, Zako and Xia took away the dishes and left room, bowing out room. Neuro gently around arm around her and fall back on bed taking her with him then turned on his side. Yako turned until she was facing his chest and gently nudged it, snuggled closer to him. Neuro let out low purr and gently ran his figures through her hair. Feeling bit brave she wrapped arm around his waist before he brought her closer to him. Yako rested her head against his chest, fully knowing chances of her getting up are very slim and the way he acting now it like something happen that she should’ve remembered and he trying restate it or something.
She looked around and looked at door where Zako and Xia left. “Were on Katsuragi Island aren’t we, Neuro?” she asked softy
“Yes.” He responded.
“And you mostly like know I was going to tell you after school was out.” She said softly
“Yes I do.” He responded.
“How long have we been here?” she asked
“Five nights and four days, and you also have unlocked the house.” He said
Yako nod against him in understanding. “Why did we come here so early then Neuro. I’m pretty sure that school isn’t out yet.” She said
Neuro grip tighten around her. Yako did her best to look up into his eyes to see how distant they looked, like something big happen. Reaching up, gently stroking his face lightly, immediately his hand caught hers. “That computer geek stabbed you and tried to take you away from me.” He said growling angry
Yako used her free hand to wrap around his neck, feeling his hair wrap around her fingers as she hosted herself up to rest her on his shoulder nuzzling his neck gently. Neuro froze unsure what to do now, as much he wanted to purr in delight and start courting process. But he couldn’t not with her memories of the last few days gone. Then it hit him and wrapped his arms tightly around her, perhaps he could build off this after she not rejecting any of his touches and even seeking out his touch, his comfort. He wasn’t going waste this chance. Digging his nose into her neck, tempted to calm himself.
Yako smiled into his neck feeling him finally relax. She knew despite the fact he caused her physical harm half time, he never let anyone else harm her no matter how or whom he pisses off during a case or whatever. So Higuchi actually harming her mostly likely pissed him off, and now he is taking Mr. Possessive to a whole new level. Which if this how he’s going be than she doesn’t mind one bit than after all this was a lot better than usual Neuro that liked hurting her or something.
Then memory came to her, turning her head away from his neck earning a growl disapproval. Yako fought the urge to giggle, moving her arm to his back gently rubbing his back calming him down. Neuro slowly calmed and loosening his grip around her allowing her more room to move around. Slowly pushed herself away from him until she was staring into his eyes, and him into hers.
“Neuro, there something I need to you tell you.” She said softly
When Neuro made no reaction of replying she knew to take as sign to continue. “After you ate HAL, day or so later Higuchi came up to me while I was with Kanae. Although I didn’t notice what he was trying to or say, Kanae did and after he left she told me that was trying to flirt with me because he liked to me. After that I thought about and next time I saw him I told him that I would never see him like that and he just friend.” She explained
Neuro narrowed his eyes and gripped her side. “Why didn’t you mention this to me?” he demanded.
Yako gulped. “Well he never came back around, so I didn’t feel it worth mentioning, besides according to Kanae others tried same thing before giving up. According to her, I’m painfully obvious almost everything isn’t in my small little world.” She paused hearing him growl, nuzzling his chest lightly calming him down. “But that isn’t true you know, I notice everything around me it I just choose not acknowledge things. I don’t acknowledge regular guys because well there simply boring, among other things. My great grandmother always told me never to pay attention because none of them would ever make me happy. She was right you know, I only when I’m with you Neuro. So don’t let that affect you after you once told me that I belonged to you from moment you saw me.” She said looking into him smiling.
Eyes widen before softening in his gaze smiling down at her and leaded to her, and…
