Chapter 7

A week after that tokiya hasn’t seen or heard from miki, she was absent from school, for one week, he tried to call aki but she’s not picking up, but he remembered that she and rukawa are going on a trip abroad for 2 weeks. He wanted to call her manager but she didn’t know that she was dating him; tokiya became so worried, that he can’t concentrate on anything and Is becoming more moody and cranky than before.

“tokiya did something happened to miki-chan?” yanagi asked, he just shrugged, becoming cranky again, not seeing his girlfriend and not hearing from her is driving him insane, and he’s always on edge, he’s worried and at the same time angry, but miki is not like that, she knows tokiya even if she has to go away for a week she would call.

He can’t shake off the feeling that something bad has happened to her, and the culprit is that stupid tomo, his thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of his cellphone, and he stared at the unknown number he answered hastily thinking it was his beloved. “moshi-moshi, this is tokiya, what now, who is this?” and his eyes widened, “ok I will be there,” they all looked at tokiya.

“was that miki-chan fuuko asked,” he shook his head, “it’s her sister she needs to talk to me,” and tokiya left, in 10 minutes he arrived in miki’s huge house, he rang the doorbell and aki was there and surprisingly rukawa. Aki ushered him in the family room and was surprise to see the prime minister was also there, he bowed at him and he nodded asking him to sit.

Aki and rukawa sat beside him, “you’re tokiya?” neon asked sternly, tokiya nodded, “may I ask what happened to my girl…..to miki” he said carefully controlling his emotions, neon smiled bitterly, “you mean you’re girlfriend” his eyes widened, “don’t worry I know about you and miki ever since day one, and I also know about aki and rukawa” she said looking at them and aki grinned sheepishly, rukawa sweat dropped.

“anyway since you’re her boyfriend I must tell you,” she paused and took a deep breath, “she’s been kidnapped along with our son kaoru.” Tokiya stood up abruptly and yelled “WHAT? WHO THE HELL WOULD, I WILL KILL THOSE FUCKING…..” but he stopped when he caught sight of kurei and remembered who he is, he bowed apologetically, kurei waved him off

“its fine, looks like miki-chan has found herself a keeper.” He commented. “I think it was tomo prime minister.” Tokiya said through gritted teeth, “well I guess we can all go home then” somebody sneered and tokiya spun around, and charged at tomo picking him up by the collar, and shoving him roughly to the wall, tomo just laughed.

“what did you do to her” tokiya snarled, “hey let go of my boyfriend” a girl with red purple hair said angrily, and tokiya let go but still looked at him warily. “look I love miki, but I realized that I’m in love with someone else all along, and this is my bestfriend and girlfriend soi,” he said as he introduced her. tokiya nodded once.

“I actually have you to thank because after I punched you, I went to soi’s and she told me her feelings for me and then I realized it too, I talked to miki at the shoot and I apologized for everything and for punching you, she accepted and were friends now.” Tokiya still scoffed, “look enough of the chit chat, what are you doing here anyway.”

“well pretty boy, I’m here to help you get miki, she’s still a friend after all,” tomo said, “and besides I felt bad that I didn’t help her i…. I was a second late when I saw her being dragged, damn it” tomo cursed as he reminisce. Soi patted his arm.

“so who might be the kidnapper be?” tokiya turned to the prime minister, kurei was gritting his teeth, “mori, a rival and a drug lord,” he scowled, “he wants to take leverage, that’s why he took miki and my son, he would have taken aki but she was not here, he wants me to allow him to deal with his business without the government interrupting, of course I refused.”

“my sister and my son” neon choked out, but she controlled her tears and became strong again, kurei placed an arm around her shoulders. “that’s why we called you, we can’t let this get out, and we need you, we know you are a master of the ensui and you’ve been training with a group of ninjas, I know what we ask is dangerous….” Tokiya cut him off.

“I would go to hell for miki,” he exclaimed determined. “ok then here are the details, they are held captive in mori’s mansion, in the 3^rd floor corner bedroom, they are both sleeping, apparently drugged, don’t worry nobody has touch her.” kurei added hastily answering tokiya’s silent question, and he heaved a sigh of relief.

“but mori did threaten, so anyway tomo is going there as a hired entertainer for the night because he has a party, so its tonight or never, you infiltrate the mansion get miki and my son and leave the rest to the cops, am I clear?” he asked sternly, tokiya just smirked, “tokiya, we know you are enraged right now but please don’t put justice in your own hands.” neon pleaded. “we’ll see”

They all shook their head, “wait before you go, their coming with you” tokiya raised an eyebrow, “hmmmph, you ice boy you didn’t even tell us we were friends with a superstar all along” tokiya spun around when he heard the voice, recca. He smiled a little, “all right lets go tokiya lets save your lady love” recca said, “yeah…” domon said but he stepped past tokiya and to aki’s direction

Domon held her hands and swooned, “oh my god you’re so beautiful can you be my girlfriend” they all groaned, aki blinked, suddenly a loud whack was heard and domon is sporting a huge bump in his back, “stay away from my girlfriend you oaf” it was rukawa, who stood beside aki. “hmmmph” domon said rubbing his head and went back to the others.

“that’s what you get you perv.” Fuuko said. “ok enough” tokiya said annoyed, “we are wasting time,” they head off and yanagi and fuuko told raiha and recca to be careful and kissed them. Tokiya went to his house and got his ensui, and headed off.

After an hour they arrived at mori’s mansion, they saw tomo’s limo pulled in the driveway and he was greeted by a butler, tomo then made a hand signal that they know, and they nodded. “ok there are apparently lots of guards, with guns, recca you and domon will go to the back as waiters, raiha you will be a goon and I will be in the party as a guest since our company is invited,” tokiya said fixing his tie. They all nodded and went off.

Tokiya took his sports car and parked it, he smoothed his suit and took out the invitation he saw at their letterbox, ‘thank goodness my father did not attend’ he said in his mind. He handed the butler his invitation, and he ushered tokiya in. he walked into the big ballroom and found tomo he nodded at him and tomo nodded back.

He walked and was introduced to mori, tokiya was trying really hard not to kill him this instant, “ah I see the mikagami son is here, I thought your company can’t go” tokiya smiled sinisterly, “well my dad said its rude to not accept invitations so he told me to attend instead.” mori laughed, and tokiya really want to wring his neck thank fully he left, “well enjoy the party mikagami” he said and walked off. and tokiya was clenching his fist.

Tomo slid beside him, holding a glass of wine, “calm down mikagami,” he hissed, “I’m about to start and my mini concert will only last for 45 minutes so move fast.” Tokiya walked away and muttered “hn” tomo rolled his eyes. He was called by mori’s assistant, mori then went to the stage and introduced tomo, he started singing and mori took a seat, all the guests eyes were on tomo.

Tokiya looked around, and he saw the guards patrolling everywhere but most of them were watching tomo, tokiya looked at the guard near the stairs and saw it being dragged, away and suddenly raihas head popped out of the corner, and gave him a thumb up, he looked at the other two guards on top of the stairs they were also knocked out and being dragged away by recca and domon.

Tokiya slipped past the stairs, and into the hall leading to the third floor, he paused as he saw two guards outside the door where miki and her nephew is held captive, he readied his ensui and was about to charge at the guards but was stopped by raiha. He shook his head and went pass tokiya, tokiya hung back hiding in the shadows,, domon and recca also there beside him and they pointed at the camera above.

Raiha went to the gurads and told them that he was the relief, they look wary but he convinced them, when they turned around the corner, they were knocked out by raiha and recca, domon then went under the camera and tugged the wires forcefully. Tokiya then went on and used the ensui to open the door, he kicked it open, and his heart clenched as he saw his beloved's lifeless form on the bed.
