Jellal stood with Gajeel, Victor, and Panther Lily as they waited for the brides to come out at the rebuilt Cathedral in town. Master Dreyar was at the podium with the priest as the whole church was packed with people. They were going to do the wedding at the guild hall, but Jellal insisted they at least do the ceremony at the church since he wanted his bride to have the wedding of her dreams.
As the guys waited Gray did his very best to keep his clothes on this time since they were in a church and it would be completely inappropriate to end up even half naked here. Natsu held his hand as they sat together on the bench with Loke, Laxus, Fried, and the other guys from the guild waiting for the brides and the rest of the girls to arrive.
Soon Master Dreyar went to the back of the room as the bridal party arrived in a white carriage with horses pulling it. Jellal really went all out for this wedding. In fact he looked like a prince with his white and gold jacket, white silk shirt, golden vest, gold tie, and white pants that billowed a bit as they were tucked into his white boots. In some ways he looked just like Mystogan minus the cape, scarf, and mask.
The bridesmaids got out of the carriage first with Lucy in the lead with Juvia at her side, then Cana and Mirajane behind them. Lisanna and Kinana followed behind them with Wendy in the back getting ready to throw flower petals for the brides.
The bridal march stared as the two brides got out of the carriage and walked with Bisca holding the train on Erza’s gown since she added that as a last resort. Master Dreyar changed his form from the tiny elf like man he was to a giant tall man as he wrapped his arms in each of the bride’s arms to give the two away to these two men who waited with baited breath to see their brides.
Loke looked at Lucy as his jaw dropped at how very sexy she looked. Levy was shocked at how handsome Gajeel looked in his tuxedo with his hair slicked back like it was in that low ponytail. As the vows were said and rings were given the two couples felt such love and joy. Jellal just had to complete one last job and then he could retire for a year since he purchased the home that he and Erza would be living in along with the huge amounts of land that he planned for them to expand upon. It would not be as large as Lucy’s family estate, but damn close to it.
Erza planned on allowing Lucy, Natsu, and Gray to build upon the land that they bought so that they could all remain together as a family. It was in between Magnolia and Jellal’s guild which was just a few miles away from Magnolia in a wooded forest area secluded from most of the land around it.
Jellal was extremely generous in allowing Erza’s Fairy Tale family live upon their land since the land he bought cost over a million jewels; however it was worth it if it made Erza happy. Part of the reason it cost so much was the land was rich with forests and wildlife with a winding river through it that emptied out into a lake. Part of the lake was also going to be on their lands which meant fishing and camping.
Once the priest said that the men could kiss their brides Jellal pulled Erza into his strong arms kissing her with a passion that left Erza floored. Gajeel did the same as Jellal carrying his blushing bride to the guild hall for festivities and much to Natsu’s delight food. The guild hall was filled with a buffet style array of delicacies that one would get from nowhere else as the caterer brought dish after dish of sweets, meats, cheeses, relishes, breads, and other fine foods for people to eat. The cakes were also brought out with Jellal and Erza’s cake being the largest with a butter cream frosting and raspberry filling with a little groom and bride at the top and a flowing fountain on the bottom above the last layer. Gajeel and Levy’s cake was a lemon frosting with shaped pieces of marzipan for decoration with a marzipan bride and groom at the top.
There were bottles of champagne and it was an open bar for the guild members who wanted ale or hard spirits. Everyone was drinking giving toasts to the brides and grooms with everyone getting completely smashed including Mystogan. His guards only had a small amount to drink since they needed to be aware enough to guard their King.
Arashi summed up Loke figuring he could take the celestial since he was going to woo Lucy. Right now though he had to watch over his Lord and insure he got back to Edolas alright. Baldric was flirting with Natsu and Gray finding Gray to be also absolutely adorable and so willing to take it all off which was a plus in his book. Natsu kept asking Baldric to take off his mask since he wanted to see his gorgeous face, but Baldric refused since he stated he had a scar that he felt was disfiguring plus he preferred to remain mysterious to the boy.
Gray now knew why Natsu was so attracted to Baldric since the guy was very hot and sweet. Baldric said he would like to consider getting together with them again when he was not on duty maybe for dinner sometime. Arashi and Baldric helped Mystogan back to the hotel as he had to lean on them for support. He was so very drunk that they were practically dragging him to the hotel. Mystogan told Baldric why Natsu could not come to Edolas and it made Baldric very sad since the boy took the blame for Mystogan to give Mystogan the right to be King. Someday Mystogan figured he would change things so that Natsu could return. Natsu was noble and had stopped Mystogan from being killed risking his own life for the man. It made Baldric love Natsu even more. No one else knew of Mystogan’s part in returning the Earth-land magic back from Edolas since if they knew the truth Mystogan would be executed.
