Midday misstep

Tai glanced across the table at Yolei, his eyes slightly panicked at the sudden soft pressure on his back. He'd been so careful, making sure that anybody who might notice him missing at school would simply ignore that, teachers will mark him present and other students with simply say he looked sick if anyone asked after him, other than those who knew exactly what he was doing and wished they were joining him.
