First Incdent

I don’t own the characters.

I would also like to state that after some family problems, which I will probably write about at the end of the chapter, I finally got some inspiration to write once more. I actually have a good idea how to put the plot into the story finally. It will still center around, romance with Aoshi and Misao but now the case comes into contact and all. It seems that there may be a little surprise, which depends on what my mind wants to do.
Ok
Okay now to give note to my inspiration, well the chapter written that made me have some inspiration: Jazz the Wolf Demon and chapter 4 of her story, I believe she said is co-authored not sure sorry, Safer on the Outside. It’s an interesting fic. It seems that Misao is a thief and Aoshi is as well. They arvalsvals both cooperating with big business people. They are going after 4 swords that are actual Japanese swords, which the business people, want to add to their collections. It’s a really interesting story and I would recommend it to any one that likes Aoshi and Misao, or anyone that would like to read an interesting story.

Misao sighed as she laid back into the bed. She sighed and smiled. ‘That was different from what I expected. All the cases I have accompanied with him he’s been mean and detached. If anything happens, I’m left to help myself. If it got bad enough he would get me out safe, further endangering himself. Now it seems, like he has to protect me. He won’t let anything happen. Misao sighed once again, sitting up, grasping the blanket above her breasts. She looked around the bed, and found her clothes were too far for her to reach. ‘Like I want to wear that constricting Kimono again.’ “Ughhhh, if Aoshi opens the door I’ll be so embarrassed.” Misao mused aloud.

She gained he confidence, by pulling the top sheet off the bed and wrapping it around herself and locating her suitcase. She flipped the suitcase open, and stared at her clothes. She sighed, “None of this I really want to wear.” She dug around in the suitcase and located a shirt she was comfortable wearing, and a pair of shorts. She set those on the bed, and rummaged for her under garments.

Misao dressed, making sure to tuck the long shirt into her shorts, and pulled out so it looked right. Her shorts were beige and her shirt was white. She walked over to the door and went to open it. It slightly came open and Misao stepped back as it swung open. Misao got into a battle stance.

“Aoshi lets go onto the balcony. Kaoru likes to eves drop on my conversations, and this is one I would prefer not telling her about.” Aoshi followed Kenshin trough the door and Kenshin shut it. Kenshin sat in a chair, as Aoshi leaned against the balcony looking at him.

“It seems someone tried to break in here last night.” Aoshi blinked and waited for him to continue while he took a deep breath. “The glass seems to have been broken here at the bottom. That’s all that was done, why they didn’t try to break anymore and enter I have no idea.”

“Do you suppose they tried to enter when everyone was out here in the dining area, we did eat kind of late last night.”

“Its not possible for me and Kaoru, because we looked out the window before we went to bed. No one was there and I would have been able to sense it if they were.” Kenshin sighed and sat in a chair. “The wires on the alarm were cut as well. They went through al the trouble to do that and then didn’t break in.

“You’re sure they didn’t only need the edge of the glass broken in order to open the door?” Aoshi question.

“That could be....”

“AHHHHHH LET ME GO!”

Aoshi yanked the glass door open and raced to the door of his room. He turned the handle and tried to open the door, but it wouldn’t budge. “Misao!” Aoshi called.

Misao had jumped into a fighting stance as the door opened slowly, and a black figure was spotted. “What do you want?” The man looked at her and then shut the door quickly.

“You.” The man said gruffly. He raced forward and went to grab at Misao’s arms. He sailed back to the floor, landing on his but.

Misao landed with a soft touch, after kicking the man in the face. “You won’t be able to get me that easily.” Misao stated as the man managed to get to his feet. He wiped the trickle of blood from the side of his mouth.

“We’ll see about that,” The man snarled and raced at her, Misao dodged to the left and the man continued to jump on the bed, and ripped open the curtains. He smiled in triumph and unlocked the window. Misao’s eyes widened and she jumped toward the man, but it was too late the window was open and two more men in black entered. One spotted her right off the bat and lunged at her, Misao dodged, and raced to the door.

Misao twisted the knob, and opened the door a little and was slammed into the door. “You won’t be getting away.” The man put an arm around her neck and yanked her back towards him. “We’ll be needing you Mrs. Kamiya, no Himura.”

‘They think I am Kaoru. Isn’t Kamiya an rtanrtant name?’ Misao thought until the man chocked her. Misao managed to get her feet on the ground and rammed her right elbow into the man’s side. He growled and loosened his hold. “AHHHHHH LET ME GO!” Misao screamed, as the man hooked his left arm around her stomach. Misao tried to get free once more, moving around. She heard the man growl and try to pull her with him. Misao looked around, ‘Only one thing left to do.’ Misao bit the man’s arm, drawing blood. The man howled as he threw Misao against the door. Misao’s head hit the door as she placed her hands out to catch herself. She slumped to the floor, her head leaning on the door. She looked around at the blurred visions.

Misao was yanked from the floor and yanked on to her feet. “One of you barricades the door.” Misao heard the voice say, and looked toward the door.

“Misao!” Aoshi’s voice could be heard, almost, clearly through the door.

“Aoshi...” Misao whispered. She used the last of her strength to kick her knee forward connecting with the man’s groin. He let her go and Misao toppled back, almost falling. She managed to stay on her feet and lunged at the man holding the door. They slammed into the door, and Misao wrapped her arms around his shoulders pulling him backwards away from the door. Misao fell backwards, the guy falling with her. She felt a pain in left side as she lost consciousness.

Aoshi banged on the door when he couldn’t budge the door. Something hit the door, and an instant later he got the door opened. He shoved it open, and saw Misao laying on the floor, and the window open the curtains blowing in the wind.

“Misao.” Aoshi said as he conveyed the scene. Mihad had a knife sticking out of her left side. Aoshi knelt by her side, placing his lest hand just below the knife, and his right on the handle. He yanked the knife out gaining a slight cry of pain, from Misao. Aoshi grabbed a piece of clothing near him and applied pressure to the wound to make it stopping bleeding.

Kenshin handed Aoshi a longer piece of cloth. Aoshi took it and wrapped it around her side. Aoshi sighed as he placed his hand under Misao’s neck, and his other under her knees.

“What’s going on?” Kaoru screamed as she ran to Misao’s room. She took a step back as she saw Aoshi lifting Misao slowly from the floor.

“We have to get some help for her.” Aoshi stated, his face and voice void of emotion. Kenshin nodded, grabbing Kaoru’s arm.

“We’ll be going as well, since this was my fault.” Kenshin stated flatly.

“Kenshin what do you mean your fault, how?” Kaoru asked.

“There was evidence obreabreak in, and I didn’t think the person was still in here.” Kenshin stated angrily. “Stop dragging your feet Kaoru we will be going.” Kenshin growled.

“Why?” Kaoru breathed as she was yanked out the door.

The drive to the hospital was in silence, as Aoshi still held Misao. He looked out the window. ‘I knew it was a mistake to take this case, but Misao never denies a case.’ Aoshi shook his head. ‘This was my fault; if I hadn’t gone with Kenshin to inspect...she should have come. She’s right I don’t treat her as a partner. I’ve put her in danger countless of times, because I’ve left her behind. I always have to save her, because of my stupidity.’

“Aoshi, we’re here.” Kenshin said calmly.

“We have an emergency.” Aoshi stated flatly.

“It always is, tell me the name of the patient and the injuries.” The nurse said broadly.

“Misao M....” Aoshi stopped. ‘We’re suppose to be married.’

“Misao what?” The nurse said aggravated.

“Shinomori.”

“How are you related to her?”

“I’m her husband.”

“You don’t sound so of of that,” The nurse scoffed.

Aoshi grew angry, “It doesn’t concern what our situation is, her health is more important that a stupid relation ship.”

Kenshin turned his head to look at Aoshi. “Well sir, I will have you know we need...”

“I don’t care you can get my information later, help her first.” Aoshi barked, his steel like gaze piercing her.

“Alright,” The nurse said frightened. “What are the wounds?”

“She’s been stabbed by a knife, a lot of blood has been lost from the ride here, and she has a head injury.” Aoshi tried to control his anger. “I did not witness the scene, so I don’t know if there are any more injuries.

The nurse stood up and called for a doctor, who brought a bed with him. Aoshi placed Misao on the bed, and followed the doctor towards the emergency room.

“No one is a loud in the emergency room,” the doctor scolded Aoshi.

Aoshi stopped at the doors and went back to Kaoru and Kenshin.

“I’m so sorry,” Kaoru was crying into Kenshin’s shoulder.

“She’ll be alright.” Aoshi stated coldly. “She’s had worse wounds and come through.”
Aoshi sat in one of the chairs.

Kenshin holding Kaoru steered her to a chair and had her sit down. He sat in between her and Aoshi.

“What we don’t have time for now, is to sit and wait, we have to get you someplace safe right away.”

Kenshin looked at Aoshi in horror. “Your wife’s been stabbed and you don’t even care.”

A cold glare from Aoshi was all her received as an answer. “You must be safe, that’s why we are protecting you. Sitting in a hospital waiting to see if she’ll pull through is not an option.”

SLAP

Aoshi looked up into angry blue eyes. “You cold hearted bastard,” Kaoru seethed. “I wont leave this place, not even by force, until I know how Misao is. I will also tell you now, that no matter of force, not even you and Kenshin will get me out of here.” Her angry blue eyes bore into Aoshi’s.

“Kaoru please, we...”

”Don’t start, my safety is not important.” Kaoru cried.

“That why we hired them,” Kenshin whispered. “It was to keep you safe.”

“I wont be safe, because they know she was not me. You called her name.” Kaoru glared at Kenshin. “Why do you think she was stabbed?”

“We don’t know if that’s the reason she was or not.” Kenshin argued. “She could have...” Kenshin looked at Aoshi who began to speak.

“I know what happen with the knife. I don’t have to ask her. We both have training in martial arts. Some one was blocking the door, as we know. She must have grabbed the person falling backwards the man falling on top of her. I suspect he pulled the knife out just in case we were to get the door open. When Misao attacked him and got him away from the door, he used the knife without thinking. So we have no idea if they know who Kaoru is.” Aoshi sighed as he looked at the floor. “I know one thing is for sure that Misao did pull the guy off the door, because she slammed him into it, then I was able to get it open 30 seconds later.”

“Mr. Shinomori?” The doctor approached them. “She has lost quite a bit of blood, as you were correct. We are giving her the blood right now. She will live, but we are unable to predict if she will wake up any time soon. She also hit her head pretty hard.”

Aoshi nodded, “When can I go see her?”

“As soon as we get her into a room, you can see her,” The doctor stated. “I have other patients to deal with, so I will have a nurse let you know when you can see her.” He nodded and walked away.

Aoshi sighed, “Will you agree to leave now?” Aoshi questioned.

“Yes,” Kaoru said sadly.

“I want to see her before we leave, then we have to find a safe place for you to stay.” Aoshi looked at Kaoru. Kaoru nodded. “I will also have someone else look after you, I must report what has happened to my superior.”

‘Misao will most likely be pulled off the case...’A nurse interrupted his thoughts.

“You may see your wife now.” The nurse gave him the room number and directions.

“Thank you.” ‘You will be safe; weather you’ll ever work on a case is another matter. You were warned Misao, even if this wasn’t you’re fault.’ Aoshi thought as he walked toward her room.

ACK ITS DONE FINALLY THE PLOT HAS BEEN INTRODUCED YAY.

Okay yeah I know I am a weird one, sorry no replies to reviews don’t have time. You will also notice this is short. Took me forever to figure out how to end it though. This took a while because I recently got a flame on my newest story. It hurt my feelings and even made me cry.

I also was a little surprised when I let the group know I wouldn’t be writing for a while. It kind of hurt my feelings to know that people wanted me to finish my stories weather I felt like it or not. I understand if you like the stories and all, but I’m different in a way I suppose Unless I have an urge to write I can’t write, and people telling me I should finish weather I have that feeling or not hurt. No offense to anyone, its just if you want crap then by all means I can write a story that is horrible and get flames for it. Or have people say that wasn’t nearly as good as what you usually write.

If you want good ideas and a story that actually hold your interest, then I think it’s a good idea until the story is written itself. I don’t plan my stories and if I d wou would end up changing the plan so many times that I would get lost, so I just let my ideas flow onto paper.

Thanks to...................No THE E-MAIL GOT DELETED. ACKKKKKKK NOOOOOOOOOO. Okay anyway I am soooooooooo bad with names. Anyway I believe you will know who you are. I go an e-mail yesterday that helped me out to finish this story and I wanted to thank the person but I can’t remember who it was wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I’m so sorry, but thank you.
