Part 8: Consummation

The next night everyone was in place. The First Action Unit deployed its troops at key points around the club. They stayed just out of site so no one would notice what was going on. To say Seras was nervous was an understatement. She knew she was going into a serious situation that could go from calm to chaotic in nothing flat. And not having Alucard by her side unnerved her even more. She thought that rather ironic. The first time they'd staked out the club, she couldn't wait to get away from him. Now she actually felt uneasy not having him around her. She looked at the gun Walter had given her. It did resemble Alucard's Casul only it was a bit smaller. She wondered if the vampire had suggested that Walter give her the gun.

"I can do this. I can do this." She thought to herself over and over.

"Nervous?" A voice asked. Seras turned to her right and saw a man who looked to be only a little older than she was.

"A little I guess. I'm Seras Victoria." Seras answered.

"I'm Captain Garreth. You must be the MI-5 agent Sir Integra picked to be Alucard's partner. Hmm, he must like you. He usually doesn't like anyone else carrying a gun that resembles his own. Walter make it for you?" Garreth asked.

"Why yes...he did." Seras replied.

"Just try to keep focus. It gets pretty interesting on missions like this. I've been on dozens of missions, but never quite a raid like this one." Garreth said.

Seras smiled kindly feeling a little reassurance from the captain's words. She felt her anxiety heighten when she heard the truck stop. An elderly but strong man stepped out of the truck and opened the back of it. "First Action Unit, remember the plan. We do nothing until we receive word from Sir Integra that Alucard is ready for us." He said.

"Yes Sir!" The troops said in unison.

"Captain Garreth, who is that man?" Seras asked.

"That's Commander Peter Ferguson. He's the leader of the First Action Unit. He's tough, but fair. I hear he and Walter are good friends. They've known each other a long time." Garreth answered.

Ferguson motioned for Victoria and Garreth to bring a small number of troops toward him. "Garreth, you and Officer Victoria will take a small number of men and set up a perimeter around the club. Be sure to keep out of site. We don't want the Valentine Brothers getting suspicious. Pickman will take the rest of the troops to back you up should anything go wrong. Alucard will be infiltrating the club right about now. When we get the signal, we storm the club. Remember that there will be human occupants inside. Try to keep the casualties to a minimum. All right, assume your positions. God and her majesty be with you. Amen."

Alucard slipped into the club disguised as a white mist. The clouds of smoke from several cigars only helped to disguise him even more. He floated into the club and found a darkened corner. He took shadow form so he would blend in with the blackness. For several moments he lingered in the shadows observing the patrons in the club. Then he noticed Luke and Jan Valentine leading a group of gentlemen into the back room. Every man had a briefcase. The vampire assumed those briefcases contained only one thing, cold hard cash, and lots of it. He was careful not to alert anyone to his presence as he flowed into the back room watching through the darkness. He watched as each man set a brief case on the large round table and opened it. As Alucard suspected the cases were full of money. Five million a piece, and seven million for the one man who was unable to attend. He watched carefully as the cases were closed one at a time. Then he focused his thoughts to Integra.

"Master, the transaction is being completed."

Integra sat in her white Rolls Royce. She heard the mental words of her vampire servant. Her eyes narrowed as she picked up her head set and put it on. "Ferguson, Alucard has given the word. Commence with the raid." She ordered.

"Yes sir." Ferguson replied.

Seras waited with Garreth and her unit until she heard word from Ferguson. "Officer Victoria, it's time to commence the raid. We need to storm the club as quickly as possible." Ferguson said into Seras's headset.

"Yes sir. Let's move!" Seras yelled. She her troops began rushing toward the club.

"Gentlemen, having fulfilled your end of the bargain, it is now time for us to fulfill ours. I promised you the key to immortality. And the key to immortality will now be yours." Luke said as he motioned for Jan to bring out ten small black boxes.

"The key to immortality indeed." A voice growled in the darkness. "If you human fools truly understood what you're squandering your wealth upon you'd be running from this place."

Darkness enveloped the round table as the locked brief cases went flying into each of their respective owners' stomachs. A pair of angry red eyes glowed in the darkness as Alucard assumed his human form. He held his Casul and Jackul in a criss crossed fashion over his chest. He glared down at Luke and Jan.

"In my day a pair of cheats like you would have felt the sharp end of a spear ramming through your pathetic bodies. But since I don't have such weapons on hand..." Alucard sneered pointing his guns at the Valentine Brothers. "I guess these two beauties will do the job just as well." He snarled showing his gleaming white canines.

"Holy Shit! He's a fucking vampire!" Jan exclaimed.

Alucard pulled the trigger of both his guns sending two silver bullets flying right toward the Valentine Brothers. The other men grabbed their brief cases and started scrambling out of the room. Luke and Jan ducked to avoid the bullets flying toward them. Luke took out a sawed off shot gun and fired back at Alucard. The bullet hit him straight between the eyes. He fell back falling through the table.

"You hit him right between his fucking eyes! Now that's shooting bro!" Jan yelled as if he'd dealt the shot himself.

"I can hear screaming outside. Go see what's going on!" Luke shouted.

Jan opened the door and saw people yelling and running in all directions. "Shit! It's a raid! We've been set up!" Jan snapped running into the chaos.

Luke turned around and gasped when he saw Alucard's body was not where it had fallen. "That's impossible. I shot him in the head. He couldn't possibly have gotten up from that." Luke said to himself.

"You FREAKS make me sick. Is that the best you can do against me? I was so hoping for a good battle, but apparently you're going to turn out like all the other cheap vampires I'm pitted against. I'm getting sick of these easy fights. When am I going to be tested against an enemy worthy of my strength!" Alucard thundered.

"This guy's a lunatic!" Luke yelled and scurried to get out of the room before he found his body filled with silver bullets. He ran into the mass of running and screaming bodies.

The dancers on stage instead of joining in with the fleeing mass took aggressive positions and began attacking the Hellsing soldiers as they stormed the club. Seras began shooting at the dancers when she realized they were not human. "I'm engaging targets!" She shouted as she ran toward the dancers. She took aim careful to hit the female FREAKS in the heads and hearts. She hit two successfully. But then she found herself up against a harder opponent.

"You!" Jan shouted looking toward Seras.

He rushed at her as she quickly turned to her side and gave him a wicked kick in the stomach. She then gave him a right jab to his jaw as he started doubling over. "You bloody pig!" Seras hissed as she raised her leg to kick Jan again.

Jan recovered quick enough to backhand Seras before she could get the kick in. She stumbled backward but maintained her footing. She didn't know it but Alucard had appeared in the midst of the battle taking out the FREAK dancers. As fast as they could move, he could shoot even faster. He turned and saw Seras fighting it out with Jan. At first he made a move to help her until he saw just how well she was holding her own.

"How'd you like that bitch!" Jan shouted.

"Is that all you know how to do, swear and hit? I'm actually getting bored with the thought of kicking your ass. But seeing as it's my job, I'll do it anyway!" Seras barked and gave Jan another sideswipe with her leg. She kicked him hard in his abdomen. Jan doubled over as drool began to leak from his mouth.

"Who's the bitch now?" Seras sneered.

Alucard could hear her words, sense her enjoyment at teaching Jan a painful lesson in combat. He watched her kick Jan again in the stomach causing him to fall to his knees. Alucard couldn't hide the wide fanged grin on his face. She was kicking the FREAK's ass, and enjoying it. He watched as she took another kick this time making contact with Jan's lower jaw.

"Magnificent. She is magnificent! She is so much stronger than I thought her to be! I never thought I'd witness the likes of such a human again after Walter. Truly she would make a powerful huntress!" He thought gleefully to himself as he continued blowing away targets. He looked around but found Luke had evaded him for the moment. He was about to leave when he heard a sickening sound.

Jan recovered from Seras's onslaught and caught her in mid kick. He grabbed her feet and threw her off balance. She hit the floor landing on her back with a thud. Taking advantage of the moment Jan got on top of her holding her hands over her head. She struggled to free herself, but his grasp was far too strong for her to break free from. "Get off me!" She screamed.

"First, I'm gonna kick your ass. Then, if there's anything left of you, I'm gonna suck you bone dry." Jan snarled. He opened his mouth as his fangs began to descend.

"Get away from her you FREAK!" Alucard thundered seeing Seras in her position. He aimed his Casul and pulled the trigger. Jan jumped off Seras barely avoiding the bullet. The red clad vampire rushed to Seras's side to see if she was all right. He pulled her up to her feet.

"Are you all right?" He asked looking around for Jan.

"Yes. Damnit, there's too many people running around here! Integra told us to keep the human casualties to a minimum! That filthy beast!" Seras yelled with disgust.

"Seras!" Garreth yelled. "We've been ordered to retreat from the club! Too many humans around here getting in the way! We've got one of the men buying for the FREAK chip!"

"All right!" Seras shouted.

"Get them all out of there! Destroy any soldiers infected by the FREAKS. We don't need any ghouls coming after us!" Integra shouted over her headset banging her fist against the dashboard of her car.

"Master, what of the Valentine Brothers? They've escaped the club." Alucard informed Integra through their mental link.

"Can't be helped right now. There are too many witnesses around. Return to the mansion. I've been given word that one of the clients has been taken into custody. We'll learn what we can about where the Valentine Brothers may have gone from there." Integra replied.

"Damn FREAKS!" She yelled to herself.

The remaining human troops soon returned to the Hellsing compound. Seras scowled at herself for letting Jan get away. Alucard also felt a measure of anger at himself for also having let both Valentine Brothers escape. Integra looked at them both along with Ferguson and Captain Garreth. Suprisingly she wasn't as angry as any of them expected her to be.

"Despite the fact the raid wasn't successful the way I'd expected, we have gained a small measure of leverage against The Valentine Brothers. Ferguson informed me that one of their clients was captured. He's being held in custody until after he's interrogated. To which time he will be appropriately dealt with. I will be sending out scouts to learn the whereabouts of Luke and Jan Valentine. I anticipate they will not go back to Valentine Dolls. They know to go back would be too dangerous for them. When I obtain their location we will take action. Until then, everyone is to be on their guard. Dismissed." Integra ordered.

Late that night Seras lay in her bed in a troubled sleep. She did not notice Alucard had entered her room. He walked silently to her bedside. He saw the expression of distress on her face. He knelt beside her and looked into her mind. Some of her distress was the fact she felt angry with herself for having let Jan catch her off guard and putting her in such a vulnerable position. To some extent she felt the same anger at herself as Alucard held at himself for letting Luke Valentine slip from his fingers as well as Jan. But then he caught something, as he looked deeper into her memories.

He saw her underneath a young man pushing frantically against her. "Yah...oh baby..." He groaned as he slammed into her over and over.

The guy seemed to be enjoying himself, but Seras looked like she was in a great deal of pain. It wasn't a rape. She'd consented to be with this man, but he wasn't very good at making her enjoy the encounter. "God I wish he'd just hurry up and get this over with. It wasn't supposed to hurt this bad. Please just get this over with. I can't take this anymore!" She cried inside.

Alucard withdrew from her mind. He frowned not at Seras, but at how cold her lover seemed toward her. He knew he wasn't exactly an angel in bed himself. He liked it rough sometimes and found lovers who were like minded. But he'd witnessed Sera's first time with a man, and the man she was with was less than worthy.

"Clumsy, inadequate human male. Pity we did not know each other sooner Seras Victoria. You would have been begging me not to stop instead of the other way around. Tomorrow night I will drown out the memory of this unworthy fool from your mind. You will have with me what you were denied by him." Alucard thought to himself as he vanished from her bedroom.

The next day Integra sat at her desk waiting for any word from Walter as to how the interrogation of the prisoner was going. She heard her phone ring. Hurriedly she picked it up and answered. "Have you gotten anything from him yet Walter?" She asked.

"Nothing as of yet Sir Integra. He only knows that Luke Valentine was going to hand over ten copies of the FREAK chips in exchange for ten brief cases full of money, five million from nine clients and one client threw in an extra two million since he was unable to attend the meeting. Other than that he has no idea about the whereabouts of the Valentine Brothers." Walter answered.

"Very well. Discontinue the interrogation. I'll have him dealt with tonight." Integra growled as she hung up the phone. "Damnit. Those two FREAKS could be anywhere by now. Perhaps they won't have fled so far knowing several of their clients got away in the raid. Five million for one chip multiplied by at least five is more than enough to keep a pair of greedy bastards close."

That night Alucard appeared in Sir Integra's office. "Has there been any word on the targets?" He asked smoothly.

Integra looked up at him with an annoyed look. "No Alucard, there has not been any word." She said flatly. She looked back at her stack of paper work. "I hear you and Officer Seras have been improving in your relationship towards each other. I trust she is beginning to prove a better partner than you were willing to admit."

"She is turning out to be a more worthy partner than I thought. I was very impressed with the way she fought last night in the raid. Very commanding, very sure of herself. She seemed to enjoy teaching that pathetic FREAK Jan Valentine a lesson. She reminded me a little of how Walter used to be when he was young." Alucard answered looking up at a picture of Integra's father.

"Was there something else you wanted Alucard?" Integra asked.

"Nothing you would be willing to grant." Alucard thought.

"Well, is there something you want or not? I do not have time for your musings." Integra stated sternly.

"No my master. If you do not require anything else of me, I will take my leave for the night." Alucard said opening a portal and entering it.

Later on that evening Seras got ready for bed. She changed out of her street clothes into a white cotton nightshirt. She let out a sigh as she turned down the covers and slid into bed. Seras was tired, but not enough to sleep. She felt alone. She didn't know why but all of the sudden her room felt so empty and cold. She still felt a hint of frustration about the raid of the previous night. "I could have done better." She muttered to herself.

"I thought you did very well last night." A voice echoed smoothly in Seras's mind.

"Alucard?" She asked softly.

Seras saw a corner of her room engulfed in an inky black void. Then she saw a figure emerge from the shadows. There stood Alucard. His raven black hair went down to his waist. An unruly lock hung lazily over the left side of his face. He wasn't in his full attire either. He wore only his white dress shirt and his charcoal grey pants. Gone was the matching over shirt, long red coat, hat and boots. It was unusual for him to appear a bit disheveled. But there was something about the lack of neatness that made him rather desirable in young Seras's eyes.

He walked slowly toward Seras. He bent over and started to crawl onto her bed. His movement was almost like that of a wolf creeping toward her. His long ebony hair draped across his shoulders. He leaned his head close to Seras's neck. She shivered for a moment not knowing what his intentions were.

"Alucard, what are you doing...here?" Seras asked.

"Your spirit has called to me, and I have answered." Alucard whispered seductively.

"My spirit...called to you?" Seras asked a bit confused.

"Yes. You are lonely like I am. Like me, you long for a companion. You long for a lover...a real lover." He said into her ear.

Seras felt shivers rush down her spine. He wanted her. Deep down, she knew she felt desire for him as well. But she remembered how her first time went. The pain she felt with her first lover was more than she could stand. She didn't want to feel that pain all over again.

"Alucard, I can't..."

"Seras," Alucard cut her off before she could finish. "I know what happened the first time you were with a man. I looked into your mind and saw your suffering. That will not happen with me." He said.

"I'm...I'm afraid to." Seras whispered nervously.

"There is nothing to fear my beautiful one. Seras, can you not feel the desire in your heart? Can't you feel how your body longs to be fulfilled. Don't let the mistakes of such an inexperienced boy keep you from what you truly desire. You and I hunger for each other. Why should we deny our desires any longer? There will not be pain, only pleasure."

Seras let out a sigh. The very sound of the vampire's voice caressed her ears the way his hands would soon do to his body. His tone was deep and sensual.

"I didn't know vampires had those kind of desires." She gasped.

"I hunger for more than just blood. I have carnal hungers. It has been so long since I've had a truly worthy lover. I have long been denied that lover, and you have been denied the first time that you wanted. Let us not deny each other what we desire any longer. This night is ours. Let us make it give us both what we desire." He said as he captured Seras's mouth before she could offer any more protest. His kiss was firm but not forceful.

He patiently coaxed her mouth open with his tongue. She hesitantly opened her lips allowing him entrance into her mouth. He gently pressed his tongue against her own. He heard a soft groan escape her. He broke the kiss and placed his hands against Seras's flushed cheek tracing the outline of her face. Mentally he encouraged her to do the same to him. She reached up and touched his cold, pale face. He loved the feel of her warm fingers against his cool skin. He raised his hand and Seras's stereo suddenly came on. Music began to play.

He took off his white undershirt revealing his very toned upper body. He took Seras's hand and pressed it to his chest. She heard a low growl in responce to her touch. He slid her hand up to his neck and then to his mouth. He touched his lips to the back of her hand. Then he took her other hand and did the same to it. Alucard leaned over Seras slowly urging her to lie back. He kissed her deeply being careful not to let his fangs pierce her lips. He laid a brief trail of kisses down her neck. He'd fed quite well so he would not be tempted to bite her. He heard Seras sigh and rose from the bed to his full height. Seras watched as he unfastened his pants. He pashed them down and stepped out of them. There the vampire stood in all his immortal glory. Seras's eyes widened to see the lower half of him was just as impressive as the upper half. Alucard reached out his hand beckoning her to him. She timidly pushed away the covers and took his outstretched hand.

Alucard pulled Seras into his arms and held her against his now naked body. She pressed her face against his bare chest. She heard a deep sigh escape him. His hands slid down her sides. He gathered the ends of her nightshirt in his fingers and began to push it upward. Seras shyly raised her arms up so he could slide the garment up over her head. Once he had it removed from her body he let it drop from his hand to the floor. He took her into his arms and lay her down upon the bed. Seras moved to cover her breasts feeling a tad embarrassed about letting him see her naked. It wasn't her first time but she was still a bit shy. Alucard patiently caught her hands before they could cover her chest and moved them to her sides. She lay there while his eyes feasted upon her near naked beauty. She noticed the look in his eyes was different than the first time he'd caught a glimpse of her topless. He wasn't leering at her. He appeared as if he were admiring a fine work of art. Feeling her body begin to stiffen Alucard released her wrists. Then he slowly removed her lacy blue knickers until she was completely bare.

He leaned over her kissing down to her breasts. He pressed one hand against one of her breasts while he began kissing the other one. Seras felt her body tingle in response to the contact. He flicked his tongue against her nipple causing it to harden instantly. He molded one breast with his hand and laved attention on the other with his mouth. Seras moaned enjoying the attention he paid to her. Her body tingled at the feel of his cool fingers pressing against her warm skin. She put her hands on his broad shoulders. He moved his mouth from the breast he'd been kissing to the one he'd massaged with his hand. Seras gasped feeling his hand begin to mold her now damp skin. Her body was becoming more sensitive to his touch. She groaned feeling him roll his tongue across her other breast and nipple. She lightly rubbed his shoulders groaning softly. She began to shift her legs feeling the region between them growing damp and heated.

Alucard looked up at Seras. She had a blissful expression on her face. She opened her eyes and looked at her lover. She reached out and touched a long strand of his black hair. He looked into her big blue eyes as Seras wrapped the ebony lock around her finger and then let it gracefully unfurl from the small digit. He flashed her a smile showing just the points of his fangs. This would have unnerved her in the past. But she felt safe around him now. There was an unspoken trust between vampire and human. She showed that trust by replying with a smile of her own as she put her arms around him. He could sense her hesitation fading away.

Alucard rose to his knees bringing Seras up with him. She held on tightly so she wouldn't just fall back. They were both on their knees facing each other. He ran his long, slender fingers up and down her spine. The contact sent chills throughout her body. She slowly rubbed his chest with her hands. He leaned his head back moaning blissfully enjoying the feel of warmth against his cool flesh. He leaned his head close to hers and whispered in her ear for her to turn around. She turned around so that her back now pressed against the front of his body. He wrapped one arm around her waist while he draped the other across her chest. Her head rested comfortably against his chest just a few inches below his. He buried his nose in her hair inhaling its scent. Seras hooked one hand around the arm that was draped across her breasts. Her other hand hung loosely to her left side. Alucard moved his left hand over hers. Their fingers intertwined as he bathed her neck with his mouth and tongue. She closed her eyes loving every moment of this intimate attention. Alucard moved their conjoined left hands up her ribcage and back down before their hands separated. Her body tingled at the feel of his rigid erection rubbing between her thighs. She heard him moan as he jerked his head back. He could feel the heat between her legs all the way to her inner thighs. But he maintained control of his desires. This feat amazed Seras. She was suprised he didn't take her at that point.

Seras wrapped her free arm around Alucard's neck as he tilted her face upward. He pressed his mouth against hers kissing her deeply. His fangs came so close to her delicate lips and even grazed them slightly, but not once did they pierce the skin. She opened her mouth wide allowing him to intrude as deeply as he desired. Their tongues swirled and dance around each other. He moved his left hand down her stomach. His long slender fingers brushed against the soft, tight reddish blonde curls. He teasingly stroked the dampened folds of her womanhood eliciting a loud groan from her. Seras opened her legs wider allowing him better access to what he wanted. She watched him crawl to her side and lay down on his back. She lay beside him on her side and began rubbing his chest with her hands. She heard a low growl as she moved her hands down to his abs. She was brave enough to let one hand creep down his flat stomach. As she pressed her lips against his neck, she wrapped her fingers around his stiff manhood. Seeing he was verging on the point of no return Seras released him from her grip to let him relax for a moment. She rubbed her soft hair against his chest. She went to her knees and began to straddle her lover. She positioned her opening over his male desire. Slowly she eased down using her hand to guide him inside of her. He groaned deeply as she engulfed every inch of him in her wet sheath. He grasped her hips with his hands. His nostrils flared and his eyes glowed with carnal lust. He gasped and moaned as Seras began to rock her hips back and fourth. She moaned in turn as Alucard raised his hands and grasped her swollen breasts. Seras leaned her head back in blissful euphoria. Alucard arched his back driving himself deeper inside of her. He wrapped his arms around her and rolled her over onto her back so that he was in the dominant position. Seras wrapped her legs around his hips to keep him from separating from her. He pressed his hands against the bed and locked his arms into a straightened position so he didn't crush her with his weight. He lowered his head against hers and kissed her passionately.

He started out moving his hips at a steady pace, neither slow nor rapid. Seras whipped her head back from side to side, as her whole body became aware of the electric sensations emanating from her crotch. She felt every hard inch of him sliding back and fourth massaging her inner walls. Beads of perspiration began to form on Seras's brow. Her breathing came in short pants and rasped breaths. She could feel Alucard's breath heavy against her neck. He began to move faster as the sensations intensified. He pressed harder everytime he pushed against her. The sensations against her tiny bundle of nerves became ever more exquisite as he moved faster and faster. She pressed her fingers hard into his back. She gasped and panted feeling her body coming close. She looked up at the ceiling and felt as if the room was starting to spin. She felt herself growing lightheaded. Her muscles began to tense and stiffen. By this time Alucard was pounding into her now. His own body screamed for release. Every moment he shoved hard against her brought her closer and closer. Her breasts swelled to their fullest and her nipples felt as if they would burst. She could feel him pulsing and throbbing madly within her. The combined sensations finally overwhelmed Seras's body and she screamed Alucard's name. She felt her body spasm as her inner walls constricted around her lover squeezing him tightly. Her orgasmic contractions were more than enough to push Alucard over the edge. He whipped his head back straining to keep from crying out. Seras heard him gasp her name as he spilled himself deep inside of her. Their bodies both spasmed for a moment longer until both of them were left drained of their strength.

Alucard summoned enough energy to push himself onto his back pulling Seras along with him. She collapsed straddled on top of him gasping for breath. Sweat dropped from her body rolling down her face. He felt her perspiration dampening his chest. They stayed joined for a moment longer allowing their bodies to recover. Seras wearily pushed herself to an upright position and looked at Alucard. "No wonder women dream about going to bed with a vampire." She said.

Alucard smirked at the comment. "I can do things mere mortal men won't even dream of doing."

"Quite the ego you have." Seras replied with her own smirk.

"I can afford the ego I have because I can back up my words." Alucard answered.

"Perhaps one night you would be kind enough to show me exactly how you back up such boasts." Seras said.

"Are you sure? I would hate to think of you not being able to work because you were not able to walk properly." Alucard replied with a fanged grin.

"Then I guess for now I'll just have to take your word for it won't I?" Seras asked teasingly.

She pushed off of Alucard and lay beside him resting her hands on his chest. For a moment there was only silence. The stereo stopped playing when the song ended. Alucard breathed a long sigh. "I must return to my chamber. I've expended quite a bit of my energy, and I must feed to rebuild it." He said beginning to rise to a sitting position.

"How much do you need? I mean, how much do you have to drink?" Seras asked.

"It won't require much. I have a bit left from what Walter brought me earlier tonight. I prefer not to let my hunger go unchecked for too long. I can be rather nasty if I've been deprived." Alucard answered.

"Do you want to take a little from me?" Seras asked.

The question took Alucard by suprise. He was rather stunned at the request. "I...I do not think that wise. My master would not be very happy with me if she found out I drank from you. She only allows me blood from the source if it comes from a human enemy she deems too dangerous to both Hellsing and innocent people." Alucard answered with a disappointed sigh.

"You can take it from my arm. I'll be wearing a shirt with long black sleeves so she won't see where you drank from. I'm offering this to you of my own free will. I know it must have been so long since you've had a little warm blood. Please, take a little of mine. I will trust you not to take too much." Seras replied.

Alucard could not believe his ears. Integra never trusted him enough to allow him to feed from her, not a drop. He watched with wide eyes as Seras held her arm out to him. "You...you're not afraid to let me feed from you?" He asked.

"No. After all, it wasn't a monster that just made love to me. Please, take it. You helped me overcome my fear of intimacy. Consider this a token of my gratitude." Seras replied.

"It...it would be easier for you if you lay down. I will try not to hurt you." Alucard said as he took Seras's outstretched arm with his hands. He lowered his head as his fangs elongated. He carefully pierced the skin of her arm drawing a small stream of blood. Seras winced slightly but kept herself relaxed. As the scarlet fluid began to flow into his mouth his fangs retracted. He drank from the wound until it stopped bleeding. He jerked his head back feeling the last of her sweet blood trickle down his throat. His expression was orgasmic.

"Do you feel better now?" Seras asked softly.

"Very much. Not since meeting my master Integra have I tasted anything so sweet. It has been a long time since anyone offered to feed me. Walter fed me once, but I was in dire need. I don't know that he would have offered his blood to me the way you offered me yours. Thank you." Alucard answered.

"You're welcome. It is a pity people only see you as a monster." Seras said.

"That is how it must be Seras Victoria. My enemies would take advantage of me if they saw anything they would consider a weakness. If people knew I could be charming as well as cruel then I would not be very effective as Hellsing's greatest weapon. I am not given the luxury of showing this side of myself too many. I know I can show it to you without endangering my reputation. I am a fierce killer. That is how I survive and serve my master. But it is good to know every once a while, I can be something else around one who is worthy of such attention. I must take my leave for the night." Alucard replied getting off the bed and phasing back into his full attire.

Seras watched as Alucard opened a portal through the bedroom wall. He tipped his hat as he began to back through the black void. "I bid you good evening Seras Victoria." He said as he disappeared into the darkness.

"I wish I could get dressed the way he does." Seras sighed to herself.

Alucard appeared back in his chamber and finished off the second blood pack he'd left earlier. He sat in his chair and crossed one leg elegantly over the other. He looked down at his white gloves glaring at the binding runes stitched into the fabric. "I must have her. She is the companion I've been longing for all this time. If not for these damned runes, I would make her mine. She would accept immortality if I offered it to her. I'm sure of it. But my master in all her infinite wisdom will not allow me that chance. If I just turn her even if Seras allows me, I'll find myself back in the cellar. I'm not going back to that hell. There has to be a way I can make Seras Victoria my bride and keep my master's good graces. There must be a way." Alucard said with a contemplative stare.
