The night was beautiful. Shuichi decided to stay inside his new apartment and watch the stars at the top of the roof. It’s been a while since he’d done that. The last time Shuichi probably did that was when BAD LUCK wasn’t so popular yet and when he and Hiro used to hang out in his place. Things really changed as the years had gone by. Before, they only performed in bars, doing gigs for their friends, playing for their folks. Now, they play for the whole nation. They travel around, gets the chance to do concerts from time to time.
And of course Shuichi changed as well. He matured throughout his hardships and got away with everything…
Except one thing.
“Konichiwa! I’m not home right now, so if you’ve got something to tell me, bring it on!” the speaker spoke and beeped right after Shuichi’s message.
“Hey there cutie, nice message.”
It was Seige, Shuichi thought. When the hell is he gonna stop?
“Anyway, I called to ask you out actually. Can you make it tomorrow night? You’re not doing anything are you? No concerts? I was hoping I could have you alone… will you come? I really missed you… I kind’a have this weird feeling that you’re avoiding me… are you? I went to the studio yesterday, and even though I heard your voice outside the door, when I got inside you disappeared… and your band mates said it wasn’t you, they said you just recorded your voice or something… are you sick? You’re fine, right? … I guess it’s no use talking with a phone when no one’s replying…well… call me, okay?”
Isn’t this ass stubborn or what? Shuichi thought. Shuichi did hide from Seige yesterday when he came by. Hiro and Fuji didn’t know what to say so they had to make something up. Recorded his voice? Of all the excuses! How lame.
“Oh and, if you’re thinking I’m backing away, think again. A Mushimoto never backs away from a challenge.” He said coolly.
Whatever. Shuichi muttered under his breath. So now I’m a trophy?
“And I know you’re there. I know you’re listening to my voice right this moment. And you must be irritated with me.”
You think? Shuichi said sarcastically.
“I’ve got a surprise for you… come by tomorrow night and you’ll see it.” He promised and hung up.
Shuichi exhaled deeply and rolled his eyes heavenward.
“He talks as if I’ll come, as if!” Shuichi complained and slumped against his long bouncy sofa. Shuichi stared upon the ceiling and remembered the days when he started buying his furniture. It was like a declaration of his independence. It was so fun. He chose everything from the smallest figurines to the surrounding speaker he bought for a fortune. But he didn’t buy much, though he was awfully rich already, money wasn’t his first priority.
It was his passion.
“Konichiwa! I’m not home right now, so if you’ve got something to tell me, bring it on!”
Shuichi’s head whirled towards the speaker’s direction and grunted,
“Not you again.” Shuichi said, burying his face on the sofa and was startled when he heard the person speaking after the beep,
“Mr. Shindou Shuichi, it’s me. My sisters and I were wondering if you’re free today. We are all bored to death, would you like to come by and have a drink with us? How about the normal stuff—like the movies? Or how about that concert being advertised in the local channels? I think that band came from the company you’re working in. I believe the lead singer’s name is Ryuichi—from NITTLE GRASPER. Do you know him? Regardless of that, would you like to come? Would you prefer to be fetched or should you rather—
“Hey Serena,” Shuichi literally stumbled to his feet from the couch to reach the answering machine, “sorry it took me so long the get the phone, um, yeah sure, I’d like to come and watch the concert with you.”
Shuichi remembered about Ryuichi-kun’s concert. A while ago, when Shuichi visited the studio, Ryuichi was rehearsing with his band mates and saw Shuichi passing by. Shuichi seriously wanted to have his day to himself but when Ryuichi came up in front of him, asking him to come to his concert, Shuichi had to make up a lame excuse by saying he was having a bad day and he wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately for Shuichi, Ryuichi didn’t buy that, so Shuichi said he’ll try to catch up. And who in the world could avoid those cute puppy eyes Ryuichi-kun was making a while ago? Only a blind man would say no.
“but we have one problem: we’re an hour late, the concert must be half finished by now.” Shuichi reminded her with a sigh.
“Shuichi, darling, are you the one who’s going to sing?”

“Mr. Mushimoto,” Derek Winterborne, Seige’s personal assistant, called out, “would you like to accept Mr. Tohma’s invitation to a concert he’s holding with his band? His invitation came in before your urgent meeting with our executives. Should I say no or yes? If yes, I shall arrange your transportation as soon as possible.” Alex briefly said and watched his owner’s reaction.
Seige on the other hand was propped unsurely on his fifty thousand dollar black leather chair with his long muscular legs propped on top of his wide eighteenth century mahogany table with a thick, long fifty-dollar cigar stuck out of his mouth. The first three buttons of his white polo was completely open, his tie untied, and his sleeves rolled up. All in all, this man looked incredibly and utterly handsome, combined with a dangerous capability, but with a besotted, disturbed mind.
Seige was silently gazing at his phone, obviously thinking if he should leave another message on Shuichi’s answering machine.
“Sir?” Alex interrupted his thoughts, which made Seige flinch,
“What is it, Alex?” he asked.
“I was talking about the concert being held right this moment. The invitation came from Mr. Tohma of NG music company. It came in before your meeting, sir. The concert has already started and hour ago, would you still like to come?”
Seige fell into a deep silence. Thinking and trying how to manipulate his condition. He then formed a plan in his head and abruptly stood up from his chair.
“Alex, prepare my transportation. I’ll be down in ten minutes.” Seige ordered and Alex bowed his head in reply.

“Hey.”
“What?”
Yuki was making his new novel, with his eyes completely glued on his laptop’s screen while the speaker was on.
“Are you gonna come?” Mika asked, with loud cheers coming from her end of the line.
“I’m busy.” Yuki replied.
“Tohma wants you to come.”
“Then tell him I’m busy.” Even at the other end of phone, Mika could hear Yuki’s fingertips typing on those keys in rapid motion.
“If I were a laptop, what would you type on me?” Mika teased, feeling irritated by her little brother’s arrogance.
“’Go away.’”
“You can’t simply mean that.”
“Try me.”
“A man of a few words. How delightful.”
“I’m hanging up in five seconds.”
“Yuki, please, you need to have some fun—
“One.”
“Tetsuha’s here too, I mean, not that it’s anything new but—
“Two.”
“Didn’t you hear me a while ago? I said Tohma wanted you to come. Your best friend wants you to come.”
“Three.”
“Yuki, I’m trying very hard here to help you—
“Four.” Seriously, Yuki was enjoying this.
“Alright! But before you say ‘five’, your ex-puppy is here too, okay? Now—
Tutututututututututututut.
“Shit!” Mika hissed when Yuki hung up.

The six ladies of the huge mansion were scurrying around, here and there, exchanging comments and ideas about the clothing they were about to wear when Serena, the eldest among them, brought the news that their youngest sister, Sakura, agreed to come to a concert that they suggested.
“How about this pink cardigan skirt?” Bianca asked, while holding the skirt against her hips,
“Hmm,” Tokia was silent for a few seconds, studying the skirt and envisioning it on her sister, “too bitchy and too slutty, how about your denim pleated skirt? It has the right amount of bitchness in it but doesn’t really imply slutiness—plus it gives that sassy look that can amplify your character.” She commented.
“Good point.” Bianca nodded and went straight back into her room, ransacking her wardrobe.
“Tokia,” the twins moaned in unison, “do we still look like identical in these outfits?” Marlotte said, looking worried about such a small thing.
Tokia scanned her sisters’ appearances and just had to admit the twins’ taste is too god to be true.
On Marlotte, she wore a low-waist faded blue jeans with a black spaghetti strap for the top and some black stilettos. To top it all off, Marlotte decided to wear her chandelier earrings and a ‘simple’ Rolex watch.
On Monette on the other hand, she wore a white mini dress with a deep V-neckline but complemented it with a huge, bold black belt that draped across her hips. As or her shoe wear, Monette chose a strapy pair of sandals that was entwined all over her shapely calves. To finish the look, she wore a black choker to emphasize here neck and her bust.
“Are you girls going to watch a concert or seduce a man?” Tokia teased in awe.
“Why thank you, sister.” Monette drawled out and smiled thoroughly, “the answer is both by the way.” She teased back and Marlotte pushed her.
“Hey Tokia, what are you gonna wear?” Marlotte asked imploringly.
“You’ll see,” Tokia grinned devilishly and winked at her sisters, “you girls wait at the living room for me and Serena while we finish up, okay?”
The twins nodded and started downstairs,
“And take Bianca with you,” Tokia added, watching the twins walk away, “Bianca!” Tokia called out, “get out of the room in five seconds, you were the first one to change, yet you seem to be the last one to come out!” Tokia complained and heard a loud crash across the hall where her sister’s room was,
“Bianca, you’re just going to change a skirt, you’re not going to renovate a room.” Tokia blurted out.
“I’ll be out in five!” Bianca shouter in assurance.
Tokia shook her head and walked back to her room.
“Tokia,” suddenly, Serena spoke out of the darkness beside the tall doorframe at the very end of the hall on their fifth floor.
“What is it?” Tokia asked seriously.
“We need to talk.” The sister said in a flat cold tone and went inside her majestic room.
